Abstract

This study aims to analyze the representation of women in Body Serum Scarlett beauty product advertisements using Sara Mills’s Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA) approach. This approach focuses on how subject-object positions are constructed and how audiences are ideologically positioned. The findings show that the Body Serum Scarlett advertisement constructs an ideal concept of beauty through both narration and visual presentation.

Abstract

The Multipurpose Cooperative (KSU) plays a strategic role in improving community welfare; however, studies on the social and spiritual dimensions of Islamic cooperative practices remain limited, as previous research has predominantly focused on financial aspects. This study aims to analyze the role of KSU Desa Kota Indonesia in enhancing member welfare through its products and services, as well as to evaluate the realization of Maqashid al-Shariah as the analytical framework. A qualitative field approach was employed through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis, with data validation conducted using triangulation techniques. The findings indicate that KSU Desa Kota Indonesia contributes to member welfare by providing access to essential goods, offering low-interest social financing, and enabling income generation through product consignment and SHU/LHU distribution. From the perspective of Maqashid al-Shariah, these practices reflect the fulfillment of hifzh al-din through voluntary and consensual transactions, hifzh al-nafs through the provision of basic needs, hifzh al-nasl through support for family continuity and education, and hifzh al-mal through transparent and trustworthy financial management. Therefore, the study concludes that KSU Desa Kota Indonesia has successfully integrated Maqashid al-Shariah values in realizing comprehensive welfare that encompasses economic, social, and spiritual dimensions. Abstract

Instilling healthy eating habits from an early age is a fundamental foundation for shaping a child’s lifelong healthy lifestyle. This study aims to describe the implementation of cooking classes in fostering healthy eating habits at PAUD Seroja, Serang City, with a particular focus on the teacher’s role in planning, delivering, and guiding the activities. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, utilizing observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, with participants consisting of three teachers and children involved in the program. The findings reveal that teachers play a pivotal role in systematically designing activities, selecting nutritious and easy-to-prepare menus, and guiding children through each cooking stage in a participatory manner while ensuring safety. The activity not only enhances children’s motor and social skills but also fosters their interest and awareness toward healthy food. Thus, cooking classes serve as an effective and engaging learning strategy to instill healthy eating habits from an early age.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of traditional dance activities in fostering self-confidence among early childhood learners at PAUD Kasih Ibu, Sukawana Village, Curug District, Serang City, as well as to identify the influencing factors. Self-confidence is considered a crucial aspect of social-emotional development that must be nurtured from an early age. Traditional dance was selected as a learning medium because it accommodates self-expression, builds courage to perform in public, and strengthens peer interaction. This research employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation involving four children aged 5–6 years as primary subjects and three teachers as supporting informants. The implementation of dance activities included routine practice, introduction of basic movements, use of simple costumes, and stage performances during school events. The findings indicate that children demonstrated improved self-confidence, reflected in their willingness to perform, expressive movement skills, and active participation with peers. Factors influencing self-confidence included parental support, responsive teaching strategies, and a supportive learning environment. Therefore, traditional dance can be positioned as an effective pedagogical strategy to stimulate and strengthen self-confidence in early childhood.

Abstract

The continuously rising volume of waste and the low ecological citizenship awareness among the younger generation pose a crucial challenge to sustainable development. This research aims to comprehensively analyze the effectiveness and implementation of Waste Management Edupreneurship as an innovative strategy to instill Ecological Citizenship in Elementary School (SD) students. This study utilizes a systematic literature review methodology, examining various relevant academic journals published within the last decade. The literature analysis results indicate that Edupreneurship functions as a transformative mechanism that integrates entrepreneurial principles (innovation, creativity) with environmental education. The implementation of Edupreneurship at the elementary school level, particularly through activities that transform waste into products of economic value, is proven effective in facilitating the experiential learning that is vital for children in this age group. It was found that the implementation of waste management edupreneurship is an effective and validated pedagogical strategy for instilling the character of Ecological Citizenship in elementary students. The main success of this strategy lies in the utilization of the School Waste Bank (BASS), which serves as a platform for tangible action that simultaneously integrates the 3R principles (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) with economic value. BASS is demonstrably a catalyst that transforms passive environmental awareness into proactive ecological responsibility. Through these activities, students are encouraged to form good citizenship behaviors rooted in sustained daily actions. Based on empirical and conceptual findings from various literature, this study formulates the T.E.P.A.K. Conceptual Model (Transformasi Edupreneurship Pengolahan Sampah Aksi Kewarganegaraan). This model is expected to be an optimal guide for achieving integrated cognitive, affective (character), and psychomotor learning outcomes within the context of environmental and citizenship education.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara penerapan model pembelajaran Direct Instruction terhadap peningkatan kemampuan passing bawah dalam permainan bola voli pada siswa kelas XI di SMA Negeri 1 Tegalwaru. Permasalahan yang melatarbelakangi penelitian ini adalah rendahnya penguasaan teknik dasar passing bawah siswa akibat penggunaan metode pembelajaran konvensional yang kurang efektif dan minimnya latihan terstruktur. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode korelasional. Populasi penelitian berjumlah 292 siswa kelas XI, dengan sampel sebanyak 74 siswa yang dipilih menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Instrumen penelitian terdiri dari angket model Direct Instruction menggunakan skala Likert dan tes praktik passing bawah bola voli. Analisis data dilakukan melalui uji normalitas, uji linearitas, dan uji korelasi dengan bantuan perangkat lunak SPSS versi 25. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif dan signifikan antara penerapan model pembelajaran Direct Instruction dengan peningkatan kemampuan passing bawah siswa. Kesimpulannya, model Direct Instruction efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani, khususnya untuk meningkatkan keterampilan teknik dasar bola voli. Penelitian ini memberikan implikasi penting bagi guru PJOK dalam memilih model pembelajaran yang terstruktur dan berorientasi pada peningkatan keterampilan siswa.

Abstract

The Nugal Padi tradition in Olak and Aro Villages, Jambi Province, is an agricultural tradition steeped in spiritual, economic, social, and cultural values. This cooperative rice planting activity is not merely a chore, but a manifestation of the harmonious relationship between humans, nature, and ancestors. Spiritually, rituals such as prayer and land purification serve as expressions of gratitude to God and the forces of nature. Economically, collective work strengthens efficiency and food security, and fosters solidarity through the sharing of harvests. Its social values include strengthening community ties, norms of sharing, and preserving a sense of togetherness passed down through generations. Local culture remains alive through rituals, traditional symbols, and customs that serve as community identity and educational tools for the younger generation about hard work and gratitude. This study used a qualitative approach with observation and in-depth interviews to explore these values. The results indicate that the Nugal Padi tradition remains relevant in fostering work ethic, maintaining social and environmental balance, and strengthening cultural identity. Preserving this tradition is crucial for the sustainability of local culture and the agricultural well-being of local communities.

Abstract

Learning outcomes is competences that student get after study. One of factor that determine learning outcome is motivation, where it’s take main role of student it self. Teacher must create learning condition that can motivate student. The researcher choose one of learning model that is Project Based Learning (PjBL) that will increase student motivation then influence to the learning outcome it self. This research is a classroom action research Kemmis & Mc.Taggart model which aim to increase learning outcomes student of class 5 through using Project Based Learning model. This research implemented in 2 cycle. In every cycle using lesson study step which is planning, do, see and reflection. The subject on this research is student of 5 class SDN Leuwimunding I with student total 33 students which is include 23 male student and 11 female student. Instrument research is using test, observation and interview. Analysis data is using quantitative percentage. The result show that using Project Based Learning model can improve student learning outcome in class 5 on water cycle subject material. The increasement is mark by student learning outcome increase with 87,88% with 80,75the average, so it is 85% reach the result with ≥70 minimum completeness criteria. Abstract

Plastic waste has become a critical issue threatening the sustainability of terrestrial ecosystems, including in Nagari Dilam. The lack of public awareness regarding environmentally friendly waste management highlights the need for community service programs that are both practical and solution-oriented. Through the Community Service Program (Kuliah Kerja Nyata or KKN), this activity was carried out using a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach with the 5T stages: To Know, To Understand, To Plan, To Action, and To Reflection. The results showed an increase in residents’ knowledge and skills in managing plastic waste through the creation of ecobricks. A tangible output of this activity is the construction of a landmark spelling out "DILAM" made from ecobricks, symbolizing community collaboration and environmental awareness. In conclusion, this KKN activity effectively encouraged behavioral change and fostered real actions among the community in preserving a sustainable terrestrial ecosystem

Abstract

This study analyzes the phenomenon occurring at Toko WN Telang, Madura, which shows a reliance of customers on competitive pricing in determining their satisfaction. However, the aspect of service quality appears to be overlooked, despite its importance in creating a satisfying shopping experience. This research aims to analyze the impact of price and service quality on customer satisfaction at Toko WN Telang. The method used is quantitative with a multiple linear regression approach, involving 60 respondents from Universitas Trunojoyo Madura. Data was analyzed using SmartPLS 4 software. The results indicate that price has a significant effect on customer satisfaction, while service quality does not have a significant impact. This study provides new contributions by recommending that store owners enhance friendliness and attentiveness in service to strengthen customer satisfaction and loyalty. These findings can serve as a reference for retail business strategies to enhance competitiveness in a competitive market.
