Abstract

This study is an analysis of speech acts in the novel "Toko Tukar Tambah Nasib" by Lia Seplia using pragmatic studies to describe the meaning of the utterances used by the characters in the novel. The objectives of this study are (1) To describe locutionary speech acts in the novel "Toko Tukar Tambah Nasib" by Lia Seplia, (2) To describe illocutionary speech acts in the novel "Toko Tukar Tambah Nasib" by Lia Seplia and (3) To describe perlocutionary speech acts in the novel "Toko Tukar Tambah Nasib" by Lia Seplia. This analysis uses a qualitative approach and descriptive research methods. The data analysis techniques used in this study are observation techniques, library techniques, reading techniques, and note-taking techniques. Data analysis is carried out by means of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions/data verification. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that there are locutionary, illocutionary, and perlocutionary speech acts in the dialogue of the novel "Toko Tukar Tambah Nasib" by Lia Seplia. The locutionary speech acts in Lia Seplia's novel "Toko Tukar Tambah Nasib" (The Exchange Shop for Fate) consist of declarative, interrogative, and imperative locutions. The illocutionary speech acts in Lia Seplia's novel "Toko Tukar Tambah Nasib" consist of assertive, directive, commissive, expressive, and declarative speech acts. Perlocutionary speech acts are also present in Khrisna Pabichara's novel Natisha.

Abstract

P This research has a background of low student learning outcomes in Mathematics. This research aim to applied the Project Based Learning model with the help of Digital Education Games to increase the result in SDN Majalengka Wetan VII. The method used in this research is the Classroom Action Research method. This research consists of two cycles and four stages. In each cycle includes planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subject of this research are 14 male students and 18 females students. The observation during the process, using of test in the end of cycle, and documentation during the process used collection data. The results showed that the application of the Project Based Learning learning model with the help of Digital Education Games could improve student learning outcomes in Mathematics class IV-A SDN Majalengka Wetan VII. This is indicated by an increase in the average value and the percentage of learning completeness from pre-cycle to cycle. The average value obtained from pre-cycle is 66.12 with a learning completeness percentage of 34.37%. In cycle I the average value obtained was 77.25 with a learning completeness percentage of 59.38%. In cycle II the average value obtained was 84.97 with a learning completeness percentage of 87.5%. The conclusion is that the application of the Project Based Learning learning model with the help of digital Education Games can improve student learning outcomes in Mathematics in class IV-A SDN Majalengka Wetan VII.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila yang disebabkan oleh pembelajaran yang masih berpusat pada guru, dan kurangnya media yang memadai, sehingga peserta didik kurang aktif dalam proses belajar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik melalui penerapan model Discovery Learning berbantuan Wordwall di kelas III SDN 18 Sungai Lambai, Kabupaten Solok Selatan. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah guru dan 20 peserta didik kelas III pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2024/2025. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tes hasil belajar, observasi aktivitas guru dan siswa, serta penilaian terhadap modul ajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik dari nilai rata-rata awal 69,5 menjadi 79 pada siklus I pertemuan 1, meningkat menjadi 86 pada siklus I pertemuan 2, dan mencapai 88 pada siklus II pertemuan 1. Rata-rata aktivitas guru meningkat dari 79 menjadi 82 dan kemudian 83. Penilaian terhadap modul ajar juga meningkat dari nilai rata-rata 84 pada siklus I pertemuan 1 menjadi 88 pada siklus I pertemuan 2, dan mencapai 91 pada siklus II pertemuan 1. Dengan demikian, penerapan model Discovery Learning berbantuan Wordwall terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila di kelas III SDN 18 Sungai Lambai.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of learning methods, infrastructure, and practicum intensity on the knowledge of food hygiene of Culinary Studies Program students. The research uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. The research instrument was in the form of a questionnaire which was distributed through Google Form to 40 Culinary students. The data were analyzed through validity, reliability, and multiple linear regression tests. The results showed that the three independent variables, namely learning methods, infrastructure, and practicum intensity, had a simultaneous significant effect on students' food hygiene knowledge (p < 0.05). Partially, varied and interactive learning methods have been proven to increase student understanding, adequate infrastructure to support the application of hygiene principles, and high practicum intensity to strengthen students' skills and awareness of food hygiene. These findings confirm the importance of the combination of these three factors in improving the quality of culinary learning. This research provides practical implications for study program managers to develop teaching methods, improve practice facilities, and increase the frequency of practicum as an effort to strengthen students' food hygiene knowledge.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the aerodynamic performance of an H-type Darrieus wind turbine by varying the number of blades and wind speeds using the Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) method. The turbine geometry was modeled using SolidWorks 2022 and numerically simulated with ANSYS Fluent 2025. The models consist of three-blade and four-blade configurations employing the NACA 0012 airfoil profile, tested under three different freestream wind velocities: 7 m/s, 9 m/s, and 11 m/s. The simulations were conducted within static and rotating domains to examine the fluid flow characteristics around the rotor, including velocity distribution, pressure field, torque, and power efficiency. The results show that increasing wind speed leads to more complex and turbulent flow behavior, characterized by the emergence of vortex shedding behind the blades. The torque coefficient (Ct) and power coefficient (Cp) increased with higher wind speeds in the three-blade configuration, indicating greater energy conversion efficiency compared to the four-blade configuration. Conversely, the four-blade turbine exhibited reduced efficiency at higher wind speeds due to increased drag forces and inter-blade interactions, which caused energy losses. Overall, the findings demonstrate that the three-blade H-type Darrieus turbine provides superior aerodynamic efficiency and rotational stability at medium to high wind speeds, whereas the four-blade configuration performs better at lower wind speeds by generating higher starting torque. These results are expected to serve as a reference for the development of efficient vertical-axis wind turbine designs suitable for wind conditions in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of blade number variation on the performance of a crossflow turbine used in the Micro-Hydro Power Plant (PLTMH) system at PT XYZ. The research was conducted using a numerical simulation approach based on Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) with Solidworks 2022 for geometry modeling and ANSYS Fluent 2025 R1 for fluid flow simulation. The variations of blade numbers investigated were 18, 24, 30, and 32 blades, with constant operating parameters including a flow rate of 0.03678 m³/s, a head of 0.3 m, and a rotational speed of 1500 rpm. The simulation results indicate that the number of blades significantly affects the torque, output power, and efficiency of the crossflow turbine. The configuration with 18 blades produced the best performance, achieving a torque of 21.39 Nm, an effective power of 3359.64 W, and an efficiency of 31.09%, while configurations with 24 and 32 blades showed a significant decrease in efficiency to around 6%. The analysis of velocity contours, pressure contours, and streamlines revealed that the 18-blade configuration provides a more stable and focused flow with uniform pressure distribution along the blade’s leading edge, resulting in greater tangential force on the runner shaft. In contrast, increasing the number of blades causes higher turbulence and energy losses. Therefore, it can be concluded that the 18-blade configuration is the most optimal design for achieving efficient crossflow turbine performance under the specified operating conditions.

Abstract

In the increasingly advanced digital era, information and communication technology has significantly transformed the way Muslims access and study the Quran. This study aims to analyze the positive impact of technology on online Quran study by highlighting aspects of accessibility, interactivity, religious digital literacy, and the formation of a global Muslim community. The approach used was qualitative library research, through a literature review of scientific journals, official agency reports, and online sources related to digital Quran learning.The research gap underlying this study is that most previous studies have focused solely on the technical and pedagogical aspects of technology-based learning without examining its impact on spiritual understanding, religious digital literacy, and scholarly authority in the context of online Quran learning. Furthermore, there are limited studies that integrate multimedia learning theory with Islamic spiritual values ​​and explore the formation of a global Muslim community in the digital space.The results show that digital technology expands access to the Quran through smartphones, applications, and online platforms that support interactive and multimedia learning. These innovations enrich understanding of the sacred text and strengthen connectivity among Muslims worldwide. However, challenges arise in terms of source validity, interpretive authority, and user digital literacy. This research emphasizes the importance of using technology wisely and spiritually to develop a generation of Muslims who are intelligent, moral, and have a global perspective.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh model Two Stay Two Stray berorientasi kearifan lokal menyama braya pada hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas V SD Gugus V Kecamatan Sukasada. Jenis penelitian ini meliputi Quasi Experiment dengan non equivalent post test only control group design. Populasi ini melibatkan semua kelas V Gugus V Kecamatan sebanyak 237 siswa. Teknik pemilihan sampel dilaksanakan dengan cluster random sampling melalui undian. Sampel pada studi ini yakni kelas V SD Negeri 5 Panji menjadi kelas eksperimen serta kelas V SD Negeri 3 Panji menjadi kelas kontrol. Tes hasil belajar IPA ialah instrumen berupa pilihan ganda diterapkan menjadi teknik pengumpul data dengan validasi instrumen yang dilaksanakan melalui pakar yang membidangi IPA yang sudah diujicobakan. Data yang diperoleh selanjutnya dianalisa melalui dua tahapan yakni analisis statistik deskriptif maupun inferensial dengan uji-t. Rerata nilai hasil belajar IPA siswa dengan model Two Stay Two Stray berorientasi kearifan lokal menyama braya adalah 85,67. Sementara rerata nilai hasil belajar IPA siswa yang diajarkan melalui model pembelajaran konvensional adalah 59. Uji hipotesis dilaksanakan melalui uji-t yang memperoleh temuan analisis thitung > ttabel (thitung = 12,07 > ttabel = 1,68). Temuan ini bermakna ada perbedaan signifikan hasil belajar IPA siswa menggunakan model Two Stay Two Stray berorientasi kearifan lokal menyama braya serta kelas kontrol yang tidak diajar model Two Stay Two Stray berorientasi kearifan lokal menyama braya. Berdasarkan hasil ini, ditarik simpulan model Two Stay Two Stray berorientasi kearifan lokal menyama braya berpengaruh pada hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas V. Abstract

The development of peer interaction abilities in elementary students can be significantly shaped through innovative educational strategies, one of which, explored in this study, is the Role-Playing method. This investigation focused on determining the degree to which this approach enhances the interpersonal skills of fourth-grade learners at SD Negeri 31 Pangkalpinang. The research employed a mixed-method design encompassing the entire fourth-grade cohort of 35 students, sampled using a saturated sampling procedure. Students in the experimental condition received lessons via Role-Playing. Questionnaire responses and observational data were collected and analyzed with the Shapiro–Wilk and Paired Sample T-tests. The outcomes demonstrated a meaningful elevation in interpersonal communication, as indicated by an increase in post-test scores to 75.71 from a pre-test score of 54.97. The statistical significance of the improvement was confirmed by a t-value of 10.039, above the critical t of 2.030, at p < 0.05. Observations further showed an average activity level of 72.63, classified as actively engaged. Overall, the study confirms that the Role-Playing approach exerts a significant beneficial effect on fourth graders’ interpersonal interactions at SD Negeri 31 Pangkalpinang.

Abstract

This descriptive qualitative research focuses on an in-depth analysis of the influence of the use of gadgets on early childhood cognitive development in PAUD Bani Karim, considering that children in the Preoperational Stage (age 4-6 years) have the characteristics of imitating, observing, and being able to symbolize. The impact of dualistic gadgets can be positive or negative, which is highly determined by the way it is used and influenced by the diversity of individual factors of the child, such as interests, personality, social conditions, and intelligence levels. Using the case study method, this study aims to measure the significance of these impacts and explore the crucial role of educators and parents in guiding children. Data were collected through observation and direct interviews with principals, teachers, parents, and research subjects (group B1). The findings of the study show that the impact of gadgets has a great effect on cognitive development, depending on how the tool is operated. Therefore, synergy and collective support from the school and household environment are absolutely necessary to ensure that the use of gadgets can be an optimal means for improving children's cognitive development.
