Abstract

This mixed-method study explores the philosophical essence and practical implications of modern educational tools through examining teacher perceptions and student learning outcomes. The research addresses fundamental questions about how technology reshapes teacher-student relationships, transforms learning epistemology, and redefines educational objectives in contemporary pedagogy. Employing an explanatory sequential design, the study involved 45 students from SDN Tunas Jaya selected through purposive sampling. Quantitative analysis utilized structured tests and observations to measure cognitive achievement, while qualitative inquiry employed in-depth interviews with teachers to investigate their philosophical understanding and practical experiences. Results demonstrate significant improvement in student learning outcomes, with mean scores increasing from 72.4 to 83.6, and standard deviation decreasing from 8.2 to 6.1, indicating enhanced consistency across diverse learner abilities. Paired sample t-test yielded significance value of 0.000, confirming statistically meaningful differences. Qualitative findings reveal teacher awareness of paradigmatic shifts from knowledge transmitters to learning facilitators who mediate active knowledge construction. Thematic analysis identified three convergent themes regarding technological integration in education. Data triangulation establishes positive correlation between teachers' philosophical comprehension and learning effectiveness, confirming that technology serves as effective catalyst only when supported by robust pedagogical foundations. The study concludes that successful implementation of modern educational tools requires integrating technical competence with deep philosophical understanding, creating synergy between technological innovation and pedagogical wisdom in twenty-first century learning contexts.

Abstract

Dalam mencapai lahirnya sumber daya manusia yang berkualitas, perlu adanya sistem dan metode pembelajaran yang mampu untuk menumbuhkan karakter – karakter unggul dalam diri masyarakat Indonesia, khususnya generasi penerus bangsa. Salah satu karakter penting yang turut menjadi indikasi sumber daya berkualitas adalah pola pikir kritis yang dimiliki generasi penerus sejak dini. Berpikir kritis adalah kemampuan yang sangat penting dalam menghadapi tantangan dan memecahkan masalah di kehidupan sehari – hari, sementara kemampuan berpikir kritis ini dapat diwujudkan melalui metode pembelajaran dan bahan ajar, seperti Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) yang berorientasi pendekatan saintifik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk membangun kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa melalui pengimplementasian LKPD berbasis saintifik, khususnya pada pelajaran PPKn kelas V siswa SD. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian kualitatif dengan instrument penelitian yaitu observasi dan wawancara untuk mengetahui realitas yang ada dalam kelas V SDN Jati 06. Kemudian, analisis data dengan menggunakan analisis konten dan triangulasi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa dan guru membutuhkan LKPD yang berorientasi pendekatan saintifik dan LKPD tersebut dapat menjadi salah satu referensi sarana belajar yang bermanfaat dan menutup kekurangan yang ada pada LKPD yang telah ada sebelumnya. Abstract

The moral degradation crisis in contemporary educational institutions demands systematic strengthening of character education implementation. This study aims to explore teachers' perceptions of the urgency of moral foundations in educational practice and identify patterns of character value implementation in schools. The research method uses a mixed method design with a sequential explanatory design approach. Research participants consisted of 45 students and one classroom teacher at SDN Tunas Jaya. The quantitative phase uses a structured questionnaire with a Likert scale, while the qualitative phase uses semi-structured interviews and participatory observation. Quantitative data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, while qualitative data were analyzed through thematic analysis. The research results show that 90% of teachers believe in their crucial role as moral agents with dominant strategies in the form of behavioral exemplary (95%), habituation of religious activities (85%), and positive verbal reinforcement (80%). Religious values become the highest priority (95%), followed by honesty (90%) and responsibility (85%). The main challenges include limited learning time and minimal parental participation. Systematic implementation resulted in a significant increase in student character with task responsibility increasing 22%, discipline and politeness each 20%. The study concludes that teachers' positive perceptions become the foundation for effective character value implementation through consistent exemplary strategies.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the literacy comprehension of third-grade elementary students on punctuation marks through the implementation of a Problem-Based Learning (PBL)- based booklet. The background of this study stems from the low ability of students to use punctuation correctly in reading and writing activities. The research employed a mixed- method approach combining qualitative and quantitative techniques to obtain comprehensive data. The booklet was implemented using a contextual reading text titled “Bermain Lompat Tali” (Playing Jump Rope). The findings indicate that the PBL-based booklet effectively enhances students’ understanding of punctuation functions, their ability to read with proper intonation, and their accuracy in writing sentences with correct punctuation. Furthermore, this approach increased students’ learning motivation and active participation during the lessons. Therefore, the development of a PBL-based booklet can serve as an effective alternative to strengthen students’ basic literacy skills in elementary education.

Abstract

English is a foreign language that is quite difficult to understand. However, children's storybooks provide a solution for learning English. The use of storybooks in teaching English vocabulary can improve children's English language skills. This study aims to determine (1) the use of children's fairy tales in English vocabulary learning, (2) the process of implementing learning using fairy tales, (3) students' responses to fairy tale-based learning, (4) supporting and inhibiting factors in the use of children's fairy tales. This study used a qualitative method with observation and interview techniques. This study was conducted at SDN Padarek III on fourth-grade students. The results of the study show that the use of children's fairy tales in learning can improve students English vocabulary skills, and students responses to learning using fairy tales are very positive, where children who tend to be passive become active when learning, learning becomes fun, and students are motivated to learn english. The use of English fairy tales as a teaching medium for fourth grade students can foster students' literacy skills and mastery of new vocabulary.

Abstract

This research discusses the problems of Pancasila Education learning in class IV of Kuripan State Elementary School, which is still dominated by conventional methods, limited use of media, and low student involvement. The purpose of this research is to describe the implementation of teaching simulations in the development of innovative learning strategies and to analyse their contribution to improving the quality of learning. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with the subjects being fourth-grade teachers and students. Data was collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analysed using the Miles and Huberman model, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research findings indicate that teaching simulations enable teachers to design more interactive lessons and utilise technology-based media. The use of Wordwall during the simulation created a more engaging learning atmosphere and encouraged students to actively participate through educational game activities. Students showed increased motivation, courage to ask questions, and participation in answering and discussions. Teachers also gained new insights into more varied and student-centered teaching strategies. Overall, the implementation of teaching simulations contributes positively to the development of innovative learning strategies and provides a more meaningful learning experience for students.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the implementation of the Rabu Basayangan Program (Affectionate Wednesday Program) as an effort to strengthen the social-emotional skills of primary school students. The program originated from the school's need to reduce mutual teasing behavior and build empathy through routine, culture-based activities. Utilizing a qualitative approach with a case study design, data was collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and then analyzed thematically. The results showed that the program's core activities, such as eating together, sharing food, storytelling sessions, and anti-bully detective reports, were found to be effective because teachers successfully created a safe and inclusive environment, encouraging students to be braver in expressing emotions, showing care, and improving social relationships. However, a challenge was found in the form of weather constraints that limited interaction in open spaces, causing some activities to be less optimal. Overall, the program provided a positive impact on school culture and the social-emotional well-being of students, and is considered relevant as a learning model. Recommendations include providing alternative spaces during bad weather, strengthening teacher mentoring, and developing the evaluation and replication of the program according to the local context.

Abstract

Psychomotor development plays a crucial role in children's growth, providing positive influences that encompass various aspects of life. Freedom for students to hone their skills based on their interests and talents can foster creativity, which is a key factor in helping students think creatively and develop creative skills. This study aims to explore the phenomenon in depth in a limited context regarding the implementation of the Bagarakan Tuesday program on students' psychomotor skills and creativity at UPTD SDN 2 Kait-kait without treatment intervention. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study design. The researcher uses semistructured interviews, non-participatory observation, and document study as data sources. The research sample consists of 1 program coordinator. The results of data analysis show that psychomotor and creativity development have a positive influence on students at UPTD SDN 2 Kait-kait.

Abstract

This study employs a descriptive-analytic library research method that explores the theoretical and practical applications of Arabic linguistics in modern language education. The article discusses how the theoretical foundations of Arabic linguistics can be adapted into practical strategies that enhance teaching quality and learning outcomes. The study examines key linguistic components such as phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics, and pragmatics as essential elements in Arabic language learning. These linguistic domains provide a systematic framework for understanding the structure, meaning, and function of language, which are vital for developing communicative competence. Data were obtained from relevant scholarly works on Arabic linguistics, pedagogy, and educational technology to ensure comprehensive theoretical coverage. Findings indicate that integrating linguistic principles into Arabic language instruction enhances learners’ awareness of language structure and meaning, supports the development of communicative competence, and offers a scientific foundation for curriculum design. Moreover, combining linguistic studies with modern pedagogical and technological approaches such as Communicative Language Teaching (CLT), Task-Based Language Teaching (TBLT), and ICT-based learning makes Arabic language teaching more effective, interactive, and relevant to the digital era. The study concludes that Arabic linguistics serves not only as a theoretical discipline but also as a practical framework for constructing systematic, adaptive, and innovative Arabic language learning in the 21st century. The study contributes to strengthening the theoretical foundation of Arabic language pedagogy and offers a framework for integrating linguistic theory with digital learning innovation.

Abstract

Although JKN coverage reached 98.45% in 2024, the quality of hospital services for JKN participants remains low (average satisfaction of 68%), accompanied by major complaints regarding responsiveness and empathy, recurring BPJS deficits, and unequal geographical access. This study aims to examine the effect of JKN membership, healthcare accessibility, and financing on the quality of hospital services through the SERVQUAL model. A quantitative explanatory research approach with a cross-sectional design was applied to 120 active JKN participants selected through purposive sampling. Multiple linear regression analysis using IBM SPSS 27 showed that all three variables had a positive and significant effect, both partially and simultaneously (F = 13.376; p < 0.001; R² = 0.257). Financing was the strongest predictor (β = 0.365), followed by accessibility (β = 0.257) and JKN membership (β = 0.198). Reforms in contributions, acceleration of claims, strengthening of telemedicine, and intensification of PBPU membership socialization are recommended to support quality UHC in 2029.
