Abstract

Planning is at the heart of Islamic education development because it determines the direction, quality, and sustainability of educational institutions. However, in practice, the planning process is often time-consuming, resource-intensive, and poorly data-driven. This study aims to analyze the concept of Islamic education planning, the impact of time constraints and resource constraints on planning effectiveness, and the role and urgency of data in accelerating the planning process. The study used a qualitative approach with a literature review method. The results indicate that data-driven planning can improve time efficiency, resource optimization, and the quality of decision-making in Islamic education. Data and databases serve as an objective basis for needs analysis, priority setting, and ongoing evaluation. Thus, data-driven planning serves as a strategic instrument in realizing professional, transparent, and quality-oriented Islamic education governance.

Abstract

Knowledge of pregnant women regarding danger signs of pregnancy is an important factor in preventing complications that may increase maternal morbidity and mortality. Lack of understanding of danger signs often leads to delays in seeking medical care. This study aims to determine the level of knowledge of pregnant women about pregnancy danger signs. The research method used a quantitative approach with a descriptive design. The sample consisted of pregnant women attending antenatal care services, selected using purposive sampling technique. Data were collected using structured questionnaires and analyzed using univariate analysis. The results showed that most respondents had a moderate level of knowledge; however, some still had low awareness regarding danger signs such as bleeding, severe abdominal pain, and decreased fetal movement. The study concludes that health education interventions are still needed to improve pregnant women’s awareness of pregnancy danger signs.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has transformed human communication patterns, but it also presents ethical challenges such as digital ghibah, which is categorized as a form of cyberbullying. This study aims to determine the perception of Mathematics Department students at Medan State University towards digital ghibah from the perspective of Islamic communication ethics. The research method used is quantitative descriptive with a sample of 35 students from the 2024 Mathematics Education program. Data was collected through a questionnaire containing 12 questions using a 2-point Likert scale and analyzed using Microsoft Excel. The results show that the level of students' knowledge, perception, and attitude towards digital ghibah is in the moderate category, with 20 respondents falling into this category. Additionally, Islamic communication skills on social media are also in the moderate category (53%), indicating that students have started to apply Islamic communication ethics values but the implementation is not yet fully consistent. The conclusion of this study is that it is necessary to strengthen digital literacy based on moral values and integrate character education to improve students' ethical awareness in communicating in the digital space.

Abstract

This research aims to describe and analyze teachers' strategies in developing students' fine motor skills through fine arts learning in class I of Ciseupan State Elementary School. The research uses a qualitative approach with a case study type. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, in-depth interviews and documentation. The results of the research show that teachers have planned and implemented fine arts learning with varied strategies, such as demonstrations, giving assignments, and playing while learning approaches. The activities designed include cutting, folding, sticking and coloring which are adapted to the student's developmental stage. However, there are still obstacles such as limited tools and materials and differences in fine motor skills between students. Teachers try to overcome this through individual guidance and the use of natural materials. In general, the strategies implemented by teachers have shown the development of students' fine motor skills, but still need to be improved in terms of media availability, appreciation of the creative process, and even involvement of students in learning reflection.

Abstract

Public perception of village restructuring policies constitutes a crucial factor in determining the success of policy implementation. Perception is shaped not only by the substance of the message delivered, but also by the mode of delivery, the credibility of the communicator, and the prior experiences of the community. This study employs a qualitative research approach. The findings indicate that the success of village restructuring policies is largely determined by the effectiveness of organizational communication models, the appropriateness of governmental communication strategies, and the ways in which public perception is constructed within society. A structured and well-coordinated communication model within the Dinas Pemberdayaan Masyarakat dan Desa Kabupaten Banyumas serves as a fundamental foundation in maintaining message consistency and policy synchronization prior to dissemination to the public. Communication strategies emphasizing transparency, participation, dialogue, and the involvement of community leaders have proven effective in enhancing public trust and support for the implemented policies. Furthermore, public perception is influenced by prior experiences, levels of informational understanding, socio-economic conditions, and the dynamics of local cultural contexts within villages. Therefore, adaptive, inclusive, and sustainable communication is essential in building social legitimacy and ensuring that village restructuring policies are accepted and effectively implemented, ultimately contributing to accountable and sustainable village governance in Banyumas Regency. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the curative approach implemented by Al-Islam teachers in addressing bullying at Muhammadiyah 44 Junior High School in Pamulang, South Tangerang. The background of this study is based on the persistence of bullying behavior in the school environment, both verbal, nonverbal, and social, which negatively impacts students' psychological and social well-being. The research method used was qualitative with a descriptive approach. Primary data sources were obtained from Al-Islam teachers, the principal, and five students directly or indirectly involved in the bullying cases. Secondary data sources came from a study of school documents and relevant previous research findings. Data collection techniques included observation, in-depth interviews, and document review. Data analysis was conducted through the stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions or verifying and testing credibility using the triangulation method. The results of the study indicate that: (1) the implementation of Al-Islam teachers' curative approach is carried out systematically, emphasizing moral development, a persuasive approach, and an understanding of Islamic values. (2) the impact of the curative approach is carried out through individual guidance such as students becoming more open and easily directed in changing attitudes and behavior in a positive direction, mediation between perpetrators and victims such as teacher assistance as mediators, providing religious advice such as through instilling Islamic moral values that encourage students' moral awareness and changes in behavior in a more positive direction, as well as ongoing coordination between homeroom teachers and schools such as through joint monitoring and intensive communication regarding the development of student behavior. (3) supporting factors include support from school policies, religious culture, while inhibiting factors include the influence of the social environment, low awareness of some students, and the limited role of parents.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of the Deli Sultanate in the development of Islam in Medan City, particularly through the existence of Maimun Palace as a symbol of power and a center of religious activities. The research employed a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data were collected through direct observation at Maimun Palace, in-depth interviews with a key informant, and documentation. The results show that Maimun Palace had strategic functions as a center of government, the residence of the sultan, and a place for cultural and religious activities. In addition, the palace’s magnificent architecture reflects the glory of the Deli Sultanate by integrating Malay, Islamic, and European elements. The study also finds that the Deli Sultanate was not the first Islamic kingdom in North Sumatra, but rather part of a continued Islamization process following earlier Islamic kingdoms such as the Aceh Sultanate. The founder of the Deli Sultanate was Tuanku Panglima Gocah Pahlawan, while Maimun Palace was built by Sultan Ma’mun Al Rasyid Perkasa Alamsyah between 1888 and 1891. Overall, the Deli Sultanate played a significant role in strengthening and developing Islam in Medan through the integration of religious values into governance, culture, and social life.
