Abstract

This research aims to examine the role of stakeholder collaboration in ensuring the quality of Islamic educational institutions. This research uses a qualitative approach with a library research type, with data sources including books, scientific journals, and regulations relevant to the research topic. Data collection techniques were carried out thru documentation studies, while data analysis used qualitative descriptive techniques thru the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The research results show that stakeholder collaboration involving school principals, teachers, students, parents, the government, and the community plays a strategic role in improving the quality of education. That collaboration is able to strengthen the planning, implementation, and evaluation of education oriented toward quality standards. However, there are various challenges in its implementation, such as differing viewpoints, limited time and resources, lack of effective communication, and resistance to change. Therefore, strong synergy, effective leadership, and open communication are needed to optimize stakeholder collaboration. Thus, stakeholder collaboration becomes a key factor in realizing sustainable quality assurance in Islamic education.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of implementing Problem Based Learning on elementary students’ mathematical problem-solving ability. The method used is a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) by examining ten relevant scientific articles published within the last ten years. The literature search was conducted through Google Scholar, ERIC, and Garuda (Garba Rujukan Digital) using keywords related to PBL and mathematical problem solving at the elementary level. Articles were selected based on inclusion and exclusion criteria, then extracted and synthesized using descriptive qualitative analysis. The review results show consistent findings that PBL has a positive and significant effect on students’ mathematical problem-solving ability. PBL effectively trains students across all stages of problem solving understanding the problem, planning strategies, carrying out solutions, and evaluating results through contextual problems, collaborative discussions, and independent inquiry. Several experimental studies report significantly higher achievement in classes using PBL compared to conventional learning, with some indicating contributions up to 43.4%. Variations of PBL supported by interactive media further strengthen outcomes, especially for HOTS-based problems and fraction topics. It is concluded that PBL is an effective, relevant, and recommended instructional model for improving elementary students’ mathematical problem-solving ability.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze teachers’ perceptions of the implementation of Digital-Based Management Information Systems (MIS) and the Love-Based Curriculum (LBC) at MAN 1 Palembang and to identify the factors influencing their implementation. This research employed a qualitative approach with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings reveal that teachers’ perceptions of MIS range from positive to skeptical, influenced by digital competence, infrastructure readiness, and training quality. In contrast, LBC is generally perceived positively due to its alignment with Islamic values, although challenges remain in terms of operationalization and consistency. Factors such as principal leadership, organizational culture, incentive systems, personal value alignment, and peer communication significantly influence perception and implementation success. These findings highlight that successful educational innovation requires a holistic strategy involving teacher capacity building, infrastructure support, and transformational leadership.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the crossword puzzle strategy in Social Studies (IPS) learning for grade IV elementary school students and to evaluate its impact on increasing student learning interest. This research used a descriptive qualitative approach with a single case study method. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews with one Social Studies teacher (G01) and one student (S01), as well as a learning interest questionnaire distributed to 14 grade IV students (S02–S15) at SDN 28 Pasa Rabaa. The questionnaire was developed based on Rahmawati's learning interest indicators, covering: (a) feeling of pleasure in learning, (b) interest in the material, (c) attention in the learning process, and (d) active student involvement. Data analysis followed the Miles, Huberman, and Saldana interactive analysis model. The results showed that the implementation of the crossword puzzle strategy was carried out in three stages: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. Based on questionnaire data, all four indicators of learning interest showed high to very high categories (76%–93%), indicating a significant positive impact. This strategy is effective in creating interactive, enjoyable, and student-centered learning. These findings are expected to enrich teachers' repertoire of active learning strategies, particularly in IPS learning at the elementary school level.
