Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya variasi media pembelajaran pada mata pelajaran IPS di SMP Negeri 6 Makassar, yang berdampak pada kurangnya antusiasme peserta didik. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk (1) mengidentifikasi kebutuhan sumber belajar digital, (2) menghasilkan desain produk MOOCs, dan (3) mengevaluasi kelayakan produk yang dikembangkan. Metode yang digunakan adalah Penelitian dan Pengembangan (R&D) dengan model ADDIE. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMP Negeri 6 Makassar, melibatkan peserta didik kelas VIII, guru IPS, serta ahli materi dan media. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket dan dokumentasi, dengan analisis data kualitatif dan kuantitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) terdapat kebutuhan tinggi terhadap sumber belajar digital interaktif, didukung oleh minat peserta didik yang besar terhadap media berbasis kuis dan permainan. (2) Didesain platform MOOCs “Pinisi Education” yang memuat video, infografik, forum diskusi, dan kuis gamifikasi. (3) Evaluasi kelayakan menunjukkan produk dinilai “Sangat Valid” oleh ahli materi dan media, serta “Sangat Praktis” oleh guru dan peserta didik. Kesimpulannya, produk MOOCs yang dikembangkan terbukti sangat layak dan praktis untuk mendukung pembelajaran peserta didik.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the use of learning media that remains rudimentary and has not been able to provide students with a comprehensive understanding, as it is limited to textbooks and printed images downloaded from the internet. This results in learning that is less interactive and leads to low student learning outcomes, with only 44% of students achieving mastery of the material on animal reproduction. This study aims to develop an interactive augmented reality-based spinner learning medium to improve the quality of learning and student learning outcomes. This study employs the Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model, which includes the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The research subjects were 25 third-grade students at SD Negeri 104204 Sambirejo Timur. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, questionnaires, and tests. The results showed that the developed media had a validity level of 95% (rated as highly valid), a practicality level of 96% based on teacher feedback, and over 90% based on student feedback (rated as highly practical), and was effective in increasing student learning outcomes from 24% to 96%. Thus, the augmented reality-based interactive spinner is effective for improving student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research examines three main typologies in the methodology of Qur'anic interpretation (tafsir), namely tafsir bil ma'tsur, tafsir bil ra'yi, and tafsir bil isyari. These three methods have different epistemological foundations, characteristics, and respective strengths and weaknesses. Tafsir bil ma'tsur relies on transmitted reports and authoritative sources such as the Qur'an, hadith, and companions' opinions. Tafsir bil ra'yi utilizes ijtihad and measured rational reasoning based on linguistic rules and Qur'anic sciences. Tafsir bil isyari attempts to uncover the inner meanings of Qur'anic verses through a Sufi approach. This research is qualitative in nature, employing a library research method. The results show that the three typologies of tafsir are complementary and make significant contributions to the treasury of Qur'anic interpretation, although each has its own methodological limitations.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the varying levels of students’ self-regulated learning and social skills. Self-regulated learning refers to students’ independence in managing, monitoring, and evaluating their learning processes, which is closely related to their ability to interact, cooperate, and adapt within the school environment. This research aims to: (1) determine the level of self-regulated learning of sixth-grade students at SD Negeri 7 Rejang Lebong, (2) identify the level of students’ social skills, and (3) to determine the relationship between self-regulated learning and social skills. This study employed a quantitative approach with a correlational research design. The population consisted of all sixth-grade students of SD Negeri 7 Rejang Lebong, totaling 50 students, and total sampling technique was used. Data were collected using questionnaires with Likert scale instruments. Instrument validity was tested using the Product Moment formula, while reliability was tested using Cronbach Alpha, resulting in coefficients of 0.713 for self-regulated learning and 0.788 for social skills. Data analysis used Product Moment correlation. The results showed that: (1) students’ self-regulated learning was in the good category, (2) students’ social skills were also in the good category, and (3) there was a significant positive relationship between self-regulated learning and social skills with a correlation value of 0.866, which is higher than r table (0.278). Thus, it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between self-regulated learning and students’ social skills.

Abstract

Academic supervision has evolved into a strategic mechanism for improving the quality of education in Indonesia. This article aims to comprehensively analyze the role of academic supervision in enhancing the quality of learning, describe its implementation and stages, and examine digital innovations in academic supervision as a response to geographical challenges and technological advancements. The method used is a systematic literature review analyzing various academic literature, research findings, and educational policies related to academic supervision from 2015 to 2025. The results of the study indicate that academic supervision contributes significantly to improving the quality of education, teacher performance, teacher professionalism, and the quality of learning. A supportive, collaborative, and sustainable supervision approach has proven effective in fostering comprehensive teacher competency development, encompassing pedagogical, professional, social, and personal aspects. Effective implementation of academic supervision follows the stages of planning, conducting observations, and evaluation and follow-up. Digital academic supervision (e-supervision) has emerged as a solution to address geographical barriers in 3T regions (frontier, outermost, and underdeveloped areas), although it still faces challenges related to infrastructure and digital literacy. The implications of these findings underscore the importance of strengthening the capacity of school principals as academic supervisors, integrating supervision outcomes into the teacher career development system, and leveraging digital technology to support the effectiveness of supervision.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role and function of travel documents, visas, entry permits, and residence permits within the Indonesian immigration legal system. The increasing mobility of people across countries requires an effective control system to maintain state sovereignty and legal certainty. This research uses a normative legal method with statutory and conceptual approaches. The data consist of primary legal materials, including Law Number 6 of 2011 concerning Immigration, and secondary legal materials such as books, scientific journals, and official documents. The results show that travel documents, visas, entry permits, and residence permits form an integrated system in immigration control. Travel documents function as official identification for international travel, visas serve as initial entry permits to Indonesian territory, entry permits act as legal validation upon arrival, and residence permits provide the legal basis for foreigners staying in Indonesia. However, in practice, several issues are still found, including lack of public understanding, misuse of visas, violations of residence permits, and overlapping regulations. Therefore, strengthening regulations, improving supervision, and enhancing public legal literacy are necessary to improve the effectiveness of the immigration system in Indonesia in a comprehensive and sustainable manner.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the contribution, effectiveness, and degree of fiscal decentralization of Local Own-Source Revenue (PAD) of Jambi City during the 2020–2024 period. The background of this study is based on the importance of PAD as an indicator of regional fiscal independence in the era of regional autonomy, where local governments are required to optimize their revenue sources independently. The research method used is a quantitative descriptive approach using secondary data obtained from the Directorate General of Fiscal Balance (DJPK). The analysis was conducted using contribution ratios, effectiveness ratios, and fiscal decentralization degree ratios. The results show that the contribution of PAD to the total regional revenue of Jambi City is still relatively low, ranging from 22% to 33%, indicating a high dependence on transfer funds from the central government. The effectiveness level of PAD shows fluctuating conditions, where in several years the realization has not optimally achieved the predetermined targets. In addition, the degree of fiscal decentralization in Jambi City remains in the low category, indicating that the level of regional financial independence is not yet optimal. Therefore, efforts are needed to optimize the management of PAD sources and to diversify regional revenue in order to enhance sustainable fiscal independence.

Abstract

The development of social media and digital technology has encouraged businesses to utilize online-based marketing strategies to influence consumer purchasing decisions. This study aims to analyze the influence of social media promotion, Electronic Word of Mouth (E-WOM), and Brand Preference on purchasing decisions at Kopi Mang Encak in West Lampung. This study used a quantitative approach with a causal associative research method. Data were obtained by distributing questionnaires to 98 respondents, who are consumers of Kopi Mang Encak, using an accidental sampling technique. Data analysis methods used included validity testing, reliability testing, normality testing, multiple linear regression analysis, t-tests, and F-tests. The results showed that partially, social media promotion, Electronic Word Of Mouth, and Brand Preference had a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions for Kopi Mang Encak. Simultaneously, these three independent variables also had a significant effect on purchasing decisions.

Abstract

The development of digital technology, particularly the social media platform TikTok, has significantly impacted the learning process of elementary school students. This study aims to analyze the influence of educational TikTok content on digital literacy and learning interest in elementary school students. The research method used a qualitative approach with a Systematic Literature Review (SLR). Data were obtained from SINTA-indexed scientific articles through the Google Scholar database, published between 2020 and 2025. The article selection process was carried out systematically using inclusion and exclusion criteria, resulting in 12 relevant articles. Data analysis used content analysis through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The study results indicate that educational TikTok content contributes positively to improving students’ digital literacy, particularly in their ability to access, understand, and evaluate information. Furthermore, educational content can also increase learning interest through visual, interactive, and contextual presentation. However, uncontrolled use has the potential to negatively impact learning focus and interest. Therefore, educational TikTok has the potential to be an innovative learning medium if used wisely and with direction.

Abstract

This study is a literature review aimed at analyzing the relationship between Quranic literacy (BTQ) and Arabic language learning. By examining fifteen relevant scientific articles published between 2017 and 2025, this research investigates the dimensions of their interconnection, identifies key learning obstacles, and maps effective teaching methods. The findings reveal a significant and mutually reinforcing relationship between BTQ competence and Arabic language achievement. Empirical data show correlation coefficients ranging from r=0.681 to r=0.983, indicating strong to very strong relationships. Quranic reading ability contributes 66.8% to Arabic learning outcomes (Hijriyah et al., 2020), Arabic proficiency explains 46.35% of Quranic memorization variance (Zubaidillah, 2018), and the correlation between Quranic reading skill and Arabic text reading skill reaches r=0.693 (Triyana et al., 2024). This study identifies six relational patterns between BTQ and Arabic learning, including their reciprocal nature, the role of BTQ as a linguistic foundation for maharah al-kitabah, and the significance of learning context. An integrative approach combining Quranic learning with communicative and applied-linguistics-based Arabic instruction is recommended.
