Abstract

This research was conducted as an innovation related to learning problems that often occur in students. This research aims to develop a technological prototype of the mathematics-computation learning environment for playing skills using the Zone of Proximal Development (ZPD) approach based on intelligent technology. This type of research is Research and Development using the 4-D model flow (Four-D Models). The sampling technique is purposive sampling. Data collection in this study uses angles for learning environment data sources and computational thinking. Then interviews are used as a source of learning experience data. Data analysis on quantitative data types used descriptive and inferential statistics in the form of independent sample t-tests and the Miles and Huberman model. This study found differences in the computational thinking abilities of male and female students, and the dominant computational thinking abilities were male students. This development research has produced an online learning environment product where the product is valid in the opinion of experts in the good category, exciting and feasible to implement. The learning environment assists and facilitates students in learning mathematics by using technology geared toward improving thinking.

Abstract

Many students have high intellectual intelligence, but only a few have good spiritual and emotional intelligence. This is because the learning process that is carried out only focuses on applying conventional learning models. This study aims to determine the effect of panel discussions based on "spiritual tours" on spiritual and emotional intelligence. This research belongs to the type of quasi-experimental research design in the form of a posttest-only control design. The population in the study amounted to 105 students. Samples were taken by random sampling technique, amounting to 66 students. The data collection method used is standardized tests, both spiritual and emotional intelligence tests. The analysis technique uses MANOVA with the help of SPSS. The results showed that the analysis of the Pilae Trace, Wilks' Lambda Hotelling's Trace, and Roy's Largest Root showed that the F coefficient was 9535.67b with a value of Sig. 0.00. Analysis of Tests of Between-Subjects Effects shows an F value of 5.79 with Sig. 0.02, smaller than 0.05, indicates an effect of learning with a spiritual tour-based panel discussion learning model on spiritual intelligence. Moreover, the Tests of Between-Subjects Effects analysis results show an F value of 2.53 with Sig. 0.02, which is smaller than 0.05. It shows a big influence between learning with the spiritual tour-based panel discussion learning model on emotional intelligence. Based on these results, the panel discussion learning model based on spiritual tours simultaneously or partially impacts spiritual and emotional intelligence.

Abstract

The low participation of students in learning English for Guiding Class is due to the need for more use of learning media that attracts students to follow the lesson well. The purpose of this study was to find out the obstacles faced by students in implementing virtual-based video tours in the English for Guiding Class. This research is descriptive. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The methods used in collecting data are observation and interviews. The instrument used in collecting data is a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative analysis. The results of this study indicate that implementing virtual-based video tours causes eight main obstacles that students often face: ICT literacy, finance, internet connection, technical, administration, English proficiency, content knowledge, and time constraints. It was concluded that video tours require special support, such as a solid internet connection and ICT literacy. Further research will likely provide different solutions so that the problems faced by students can be overcome without neglecting the essence of creativity and innovation from video-based virtual tours in English for Guiding Class.

Abstract

In a bilingual society, language contact always occurs along with misunderstandings in conveying messages or information. The purpose of this research is to find out the use of code mixing in the interaction process between elementary school students who are taking a Japanese language course for beginner classes and teachers at the Mirai Mandiri Japanese Language Course, the type of code-mixing that is spoken and the form of grammatical code-mixing phenomenon to be used in communicating process. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method. The research subjects were 15 elementary school students who were members of elementary level class groups, as well as a Japanese language teacher. The data collection technique used is the Uninvolved Conversation Observation Technique. Methods of data analysis using the equivalent method. The results of this study are that there are three types of code mixing used by elementary school students who learn Japanese as beginners when interacting with teachers or when interacting with fellow friends. The types of code mixing used are outer, inner, and mixed code-mixing. The used grammatical form is insertion.

Abstract

The nutrition and health lectures show that students can optimally develop higher-order thinking skills. The learning process with the strategies and methods used has yet to be able to maximize the student learning process to be able to develop high-level thinking skills. This study aimed to analyze the effectiveness of case-based learning on students' mastery of concepts and thinking skills in the field of nutrition and adolescent health. This type of research is quantitative. The research subjects were 6th-semester students who programmed the Nutrition and Health Course with 24 people. The research design is one short case study. Methods of data collection using observation and tests. The research instruments used were tests and questionnaires to determine student responses. The results showed that the mean score of students' mastery of concepts about nutrition and health was 86.13, which was classified as very good, while students' thinking skills were obtained at 86.08, which was classified as very good. The student response to the case-based learning was very good, scoring 87.33. The effectiveness of case-based learning is determined based on the effectiveness index obtained by 100%. It was concluded that concept mastery, thinking skills, and student responses were in the very good category, and the effectiveness of case-based learning in adolescent nutrition health studies was also very good.

Abstract

The low creativity of students in the microteaching lecture process is indicated by the fact that many students still need help preparing lesson plans, teaching materials, and student worksheets. In addition, students arrange learning administration based on what is on the internet without any modifications. To overcome these problems, it is necessary to apply the right learning model to increase student creativity. This research aims to develop students' ability to create creative learning administration by utilizing project-based learning models in microteaching courses. This research is a type of qualitative research using a descriptive approach. The research subjects were 30 people, 28 women, and 2 men. Methods of data collection using observation and tests. The instruments used were observation sheets and tests. Data analysis was done with the reduction stages, data presentation, verification, and conclusion. From the results of the data analysis, it was found that the level of student creativity was already at the collaboration level. Students jointly divide tasks in preparing learning administration. It can be seen from the observations that each group makes a list of tasks that must be done. Judging from the work results, students have been able to arrange learning administration creatively. The creativity level of the project results is still at 75%. Several parts still need to be improved, such as learning objectives, materials, and forms of assessment that are outside of basic competencies. However, using project-based learning can instill creativity in students in producing products. Of course, further research is still needed to produce a good project.

21st-century education requires teachers to develop the 6C aspects of students,  character, citizenship, critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and communication. This study aims to analyze the effect of the TPACK approach on student collaboration in Civics subjects at school. This research uses quantitative research methods. The population in this study were seventh-grade junior high school students, totaling 178 students. Sampling in the study was carried out using a quota sampling technique with a final sample size of 75 students. Data collection in the study was carried out using non-test techniques, with research instruments in the form of questionnaires or questionnaires distributed via Google Forms. The data obtained in the study were then analyzed using quantitative descriptive analysis techniques through normality tests, linearity tests, and simple linear regression. The research analysis showed that the TPACK approach's influence on students' collaboration skills obtained a correlation coefficient of 0.592 with a contribution value of 35.1%. These results then show a significant influence between the TPACK approach and the collaboration skills of students in junior high school.
