Abstract

Pregnancy is a physiological process that can become pathological if not well monitored. Kidney disease will increase the risk during pregnancy, namely preeclampsia, fetal growth restriction, and loss of maternal kidney function. Chronic kidney disease in pregnant women often goes undiagnosed. Kidney disease problems detected will worsen if not examined at the early signs and symptoms or delaying treatment for kidney disease. This study proves the effectiveness and accuracy of early detection systems for kidney health in pregnant women. In the design of this application, exploratory data analysis (EDA) and data visualization techniques are used, which will provide deeper insight into the distribution, trends and relationships between variables in the data which includes data on pregnant women, perceived symptoms and laboratory examination. From the results of the design of this early detection system application, it shows perfect performance of the model on the overall dataset with precision, recall, and F1-score scores all reaching 1.00 or 100% accuracy. The developed classification model shows outstanding performance. This success can be attributed to the selection of relevant features, effective data preprocessing, and the selection of the appropriate classification model.

Abstract

Data from the Ministry of Health states that 23% of people living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHA) experience drug withdrawal. Self-management refers to managing disease needs, activating social support, and living with a chronic disease. Self-management has also been shown to control patients' adherence to medication so that it can increase CD4 counts in PLWHA and improve some clinical symptoms. Specific therapy for HIV cases has not been found to cure HIV infection, but HIV self-management can slow down or prevent the occurrence of more severe conditions. Based on this, self-management is very important for HIV/AIDS patients. This study aims to determine interventions that can improve self-management in HIV/AIDS patients. Methods: Literature sources were obtained through searches using the Scopus, Science Direct, Google Scholar, and PubMed databases with the last 5 years of research (2018-2023). The keywords used in the search were intervention, self-management, and HIV/AIDS. The search equation was applied without limitation, taking into account the title, abstract, interventions, and methods used. Articles that had been obtained were then analyzed for differences and duplication. A chart for visual representation of how the search and selection of articles was made PRISMA-SR flow diagram. Data extraction was done by creating tables. Results: interventions used to improve self-management in HIV/AIDS patients include self-management applications, spiritual counseling, and prayer therapy. Conclusion: The interventions used were proven to improve self-management in HIV/AIDS patients.

Abstract

Nastar cake is one of the pastries made from wheat flour. Nastar cake is one of the pastries that is small round, shiny surface, made of flour, margarine, refined sugar, egg yolk and filled with pineapple jam. Nastar cake with the addition of red bean flour can be put to good use as a high-protein food. This study aims to determine the effect of adding red bean flour on the test of acceptability (hedonic) and protein content in pineapple cake. This research method uses an experimental method using Complete Randomized Design (RAL), with independent variables, namely formulas with the addition of red bean flour at 0%, 50%, 75%. Variables are tied in the form of color, texture, aroma, and taste of pineapple cake. Hedonic test data was obtained from 25 untrained panelists, namely students of the UINSU Faculty of Public Health. Data analysis for the acceptability test was carried out using the ANOVA method and Duncan's follow-up test. The results of this study found that the acceptability of pineapple cake based on the assessment of color, texture, aroma, and taste that was preferred by panelists was F0 without the addition of red bean flour (control) with an average result of 4.09 (likes), while F1 with an average of 3.23 (less likes), and F2 with an average of 2.78 (dislikes). It is known based on the test results of the highest protein content found in F2 (10.03%), F1 (9.89%), and the lowest F0 (9.72%). As a high-protein food with the addition of red bean flour, it is expected to be an alternative food that is high in protein to prevent stunting.
