Aphorisme is a journal of Arabic Language, Literature, and Education. Its journal exists to accommodate contemporary issues related to Arabic Linguistics, Arabic Literature, and Arabic Learning written by lecturers, researchers, students, artists, writers, and practitioners in the fields of Arabic Language and Literature. The language focus published in this journal are Arabic, English, or Indonesian. This journal is published by the Study Program of Arabic Language Teaching Faculty of Tarbiyah INSURI twice a year (January-July). It has got both P-ISSN 2722-6786 and E-ISSN 2722-6794.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the differences in phrases between the Koran and Arabic in linguistic and literary contexts. The method used is a comparative analysis of phrase structures in the two languages, by reviewing aspects of syntax, semantics and pragmatics. The research results show that although the Koranic language has the same roots as Arabic, its use has its own characteristics that reflect the beauty and excellence of the Koranic literature. There are 17 differences found between these two languages including the use of words, sentence patterns and language conventions that are unique to the language of the Koran. It is hoped that this research will provide a deeper understanding of the language of the Koran as well as contribute to the study of Arabic linguistics and literature in general.

Abstract

This research is to (1) describe the application of the curriculum for teaching speaking skills in the Arabic language teaching book for the second intermediate grade of the Indonesian Ministry of Religious Affairs in 2020. (2) to describe the advantages and disadvantages of the curriculum for teaching speaking skills in the Arabic language teaching book for the second intermediate grade. (3) knowing how to analyze the curriculum for teaching speaking skills in the book on teaching the Arabic language for the second intermediate grade. This research is based on descriptive analysis methods. This research indicates that the book's approach to teaching speaking skills includes four elements: objectives, content, teaching methods, and evaluation. Data collection techniques used in this research include the collection of data sources, data collection, data analysis, and interpretation of results. As a consequence of this study, the book's speaking skill teaching methodology consists of four components: objectives, content, teaching strategies, and evaluation. These are the outcomes of the examination of the book's speaking skills training method: that the information is acceptable based on the criteria of excellent content, the listening, speaking, reading, and writing abilities are presented in a good order, Data analysis techniques used in this research: Data limitations, data display, and conclusions, and the core and fundamental competencies meet the requirements of good competence. With a disclaimer that neither at the middle nor after the semester does this book assess speaking abilities due to its usage of an intermediate language.

Abstract

This research on language education policy aims to formulate language education policies regarding the inequality between professionalism and teacher welfare from the perspective of Qur'anic maqasidi. The research method used in this policy article is qualitative, with a literature study approach. Policy article data is in the form of policy choices from the perspective of Quranic maqasidi, obtained from various sources of articles, the Quran, applicable regulations, scientific journals, and books. The data collection technique is carried out by documentation. The data analysis was done using data reduction, presentation, and conclusion. The research on language education policy results stated that 21 verses of the Qur'an were reduced into four types of "tawāzun" or "balance." Four types of "tawāzun" are explored with the perspective of Qur'anic maqasidi, namely: 1) balance in the market, 2) balance in the hereafter, 3) universal balance, and 4) religious balance. The four types of "tawāzun" are divided into two types of "tawāzun" at the same time according to the dalālah and qarīnah of each verse. Four types of "tawāzun" or "balance" are thus reduced to formulate language education policies to provide a solution to balance the professionalism and welfare of Arabic teachers. 1) Market share; Providing a balance between rights and obligations, giving good and gentle direction, assigning tasks according to the teacher's ability level, keeping promises including honorarium or salary; 2) The Hereafter; the counsel that teaching is a religious command to plant goodness in the world; 3) Universal; provide balanced work and honorarium; 4) Religious system; every step of learning to hold the principles of the Qur'an. Thus, at least the Qur'ani maqasidi can be a reference for better formulation of school/madrasah policies.

Abstract

Role-playing is one of the methods in classroom classroom learning that will create a pleasant classroom atmosphere, enhance active learning of students’ lessons, and strengthen students’ learning outcomes. This research will study class action using the role-playing method in class 3 intensive PMDG Putri 1 Mantingan, Ngawi, East Java. Therefore, the study aims to 1) expose the effectiveness of the implementation of the role playing method in enhancing the active learning of the lessons Muthola'ah students Class 3 intensive PMDG Putri 1 year teachings 2018-2019 AD, and 2) display the effectiveness of the implementation of role playing methods in enhancing the learning outcomes of students' Muthola'ah Class 3 intensive at Darussalam Gontor Putri 1 Islamic Boarding School the school year 2018-2019. This research is a qualitative descriptive action class (PTK) study implemented in the intensive 3 class of 45 students in PMDG Putri Campus 1 school year 2018/2019. Class action research is carried out in two cycles: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The results of this research show that (1) the application of the role-playing method can improve students' learning activity; namely, in the first cycle of activation, students reach 48% and increase to 53% in the second cycle. (2) The application of the role-playing method Playing can improve students' learning outcomes, i.e., students' learning results in the first cycle reach 82% and increase to 84% in the second cycle. Therefore, researchers hope that all teacher councils will give more attention to the learning methods that will be applied to a lesson so that they will create a conducive and effective learning environment.

Abstract

This research aims to discuss more deeply one of the thoughts or ideas of one of the linguistic figures, namely Ibn Jinni, about Isytiqāq or derivation, which then the discussion was also discussed by modern linguists. This research is included in the type of qualitative research based on literature studies or library research. Researchers collect data from data sources in the form of books or Ibn Jinni’s books and supported by related journals. Data is collected by reading and recording techniques, namely reading some existing references and then recording the form of Isytiqāq in the book al-Khaṣāiṣ by Ibn Jinni. After the data is collected, the data is analyzed with content analysis techniques and presented using systematic language. As for Isytiqāq according to Ibn Jinni, there are two types of Isytiqāq, namely Isytiqāq, namely al-Isytiqāq as-Aṣgar or now commonly known as Isytiqāq Am or Isytiqāq Tahshrifiyyah and al-Isytiqāq al-Akbar or now generally known as qalb.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the positive impact of using Arabic in an educational context on understanding the Islamic values contained in it. The target of this research is students from the Faculty of Da'wah and Communication Sciences at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta. This research applies a qualitative approach using case study and questionnaire techniques as the main method of data collection. From the survei results, it can be concluded that the majority of respondents (90%) consider it important to include Arabic in the university curriculum. The reason for implementing the use of Arabic is because it involves moral development, cross-cultural communication, and understanding Islamic teachings. Respondents also saw the benefits of learning Arabic in the context of deepening understanding of the Koran, improving the quality of worship, and forming polite character. Overall, the survei supports the success of Arabic in making a positive contribution to the moral and spiritual formation of students. Some respondents had different points of view because they found it difficult to learn Arabic, but they provided several different solutions for learning it. The next reason for differences of opinion is the status of Arabic as an international language because not all universities have muslim students.

Abstract

This research aims to discover the translation techniques used to translate Arabic into Indonesian. This type of research is qualitative research that uses a descriptive approach. The data taken are various techniques used in Arabic-Indonesian translation. The data source we took was from the literature which refers to sources relevant to the discussion. Data analysis is carried out using content analysis, namely reviewing the data obtained and grouping the required data. The results of this research showed that there were 18 translation techniques used to transfer Arabic into Indonesian. Using appropriate translation techniques can ensure that the original meaning of the source text is well preserved in the translation. To ensure the accuracy and quality of the translation, translators must be flexible and creative in choosing translation techniques that suit the characteristics of each text.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the development of learning speaking skills to improve students' productive language skills at a high level. This research is qualitative research with the type of library research. The research data is in the form of discourse on the development of learning speaking skills for students, accessed from several recent e-journal research results. Data collection techniques are carried out using documentation. Meanwhile, data analysis uses content analysis. The research results show that the development of learning speaking skills for students is divided into three levels: beginner, intermediate, and advanced. At a high level it can be done using various techniques and methods so that the objectives and direction of learning speaking skills are by what was previously formulated. Learning speaking skills is important in training students to speak Arabic productively.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the similarities and differences between the Sulatsi Mujarrad chapter and the two books. This study utilizes a qualitative approach, relying on library research as the main methodology. Based on literature references, documentation, and content analysis were used for the data collection method. In the analysis and interpretation stage of the collected data, the researcher applied the comparative thinking method by comparing two Ṣaraf books. The first book is At-Taṣrīf, while the second Ṣaraf book, which is the object of comparison, is Amṡilah Taṣrīfiyyah. From the results of this research, it was found that there are similarities in terms of the form of taṣrīf and differences in terms of the arrangement of taṣrīf terms and taṣrīf Lugawī. The At-Taṣrīf book has a more complete taṣrīf structure, while the Amṡilah Taṣrīfiyyah book has isim alāt, fi'il madi and mudari majhul and isim maf’ūl which are not found in the taṣrīf structure.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the meaning of inclusive education in QS. Al-Hujurat Verses 10-13. This research is qualitative with the type of library research. This research uses a semantic scientific approach. Research data is in the form of QS. Al-Hujurāt Verses 10-13 with Al-Qur'an data sources. Data collection techniques are carried out using documentation. The author documented every word and verse that refers to the meaning of inclusive education in the two letters and then presented them systematically for analysis. The data analysis for this research uses content analysis. The research results show seven pronunciations or sentences in the QS. Al-Hujurāt Verses 10-13 which have the main meaning of field of meaning, namely; Brotherhood; Faaṣliḥū baina akhawaikum; Lā Yaskhar; Walā Talmizū Anfusakum; Walā Tanābazū bil Alqāb; Lita’ārafū; and Atqākum. These seven pronunciations or sentences have a field of meaning according to the grouping of lexical domains, which are structural, associative, and collocative.
