Abstract

Accelerating the reduction of stunting requires synergistic implementation between various sectors, both at the central government level and regional and village governments. The purpose of this study was to find out the effectiveness of the Quality Family Village Program in Mongpok Village, Cikeusal District, Serang Regency in the Landscape of accelerated reduction of stunting. The research method uses a case study approach. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews in Focus Group Discussion (FGD) activities which were carried out semi-structured with open questions. Data analysis uses systematic qualitative data analysis through the process of data classification (data coding), labeling, and category preparation. The results showed that the implementation of the accelerated stunting reduction policy in the Quality Family Village (KB) of Mongpok Village was based on an approach to changing the behavior of the target group, innovation in the implementation of the Family Planning Village, the effectiveness of government support and the impact of program implementation had been quite effective. Factors that support the success of reducing accelerated stunting in KB Village, Mongpok Village, Cikeusal District, as well as research findings, namely responsive leadership, stakeholder commitment, collaboration, awareness, and community compliance which have an impact on increasing public health status.Keywords: Effectiveness, Policy Implementation, Stunting, Family Planning Village, Mongpok Village

Abstract

This article investigates the role of social dynamics in influencing the quality of public services through analysis of social interactions between public service providers and the community. Through surveys covering various social, demographic, and geographic groups in Indonesia, research findings reveal that positive and responsive social interactions can significantly influence people's perceptions of the quality of public services. Apart from that, community participation in decision-making regarding public services also emerged as an important factor. Social and demographic factors such as age, education, gender, and location of residence also play a role in shaping these perceptions. The results of these findings include the importance of improving communication skills training of public service officers, supporting community participation, and designing responsive policies. This article advocates for a more holistic approach to improving the quality of public services by taking into account various social dynamic factors.

Abstract

The results of the research show that the process of collaboration between stakeholders is running quite well, although not perfect overall in terms of collaboration. The government's collaboration through the Youth and Sports Service with a religious organization, namely BKPRMI, has collaborated regarding the Al-Azhom Festival activities starting in 2012, budget constraints and limited human resources in carrying out Al-Azhom Festival activities can be overcome by collaboration between stakeholders, and not only Meanwhile, UMKM and the people of Tangerang City also participate in the success of these religious tourism development activities. The achievements of the 2022 Al-Azhom Festival are in accordance with its objectives, namely increasing the economy of the people of Tangerang City through UMKM in the activity bazaar, and being able to introduce religious tourism in Tangerang City to the wider community.

Abstract

This study is the result of research conducted at the General Bureau of the General Secretariat of the Ministry of State Secretariat regarding the implementation of electronic mail systems in support of Electronic Government. This research was conducted using a descriptive-qualitative method. Through the E-Government theory approach quoted from Indrajit (2016), the researcher examines implementation based on three components, namely: (1) Support, in the form of policies that are the legal basis for the development of SPDE Open, namely PP No. 95 of 2018 concerning Systems Electronic Based Government; (2) Capability, broadly speaking, the ability is demonstrated by granting authority to the Bureau of Information, Data and Technology work units to develop systems, provision of tools or equipment channelled through the State Budget and development of the human resources themselves; and (3) Value which are the impact of implementation, this application can simplify mailing procedures, make employee mobility more efficient and effective and reinforce the directions given so that it can be said that the implementation of SPDE Open has reached the transformation phase, where a system has experienced further development so that services increase in an integrated manner. While the obstacles found in this research are of a technical nature where the display of the application website is not yet user-friendly and the unpreparedness of employees in accepting SPDE Open as part of work priorities, for this reason, further research is needed to find solutions to existing problems.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to identify the leadership communication style of women at Dasawisma Pelikan. In Indonesia, women are still generally thought to be inferior and unable to hold senior management roles in organizations, gender gaps are still frequently observed. People's perspectives on gender equality have been impacted by the advancement of communication technologies. In Indonesia, gender equality has increased recently, and women are now frequently in positions of leadership. A lady who has led Dasawisma for seven years is in charge of the organization. This study intends to ascertain the communication style used by female leaders at Dasawisma Pelikan in light of the context mentioned above. Data were collected through interviews and observations utilizing purposive sampling as part of a qualitative research project employing an ethnographic communication methodology. This study found that being a single parent is similar to being a leader in that it fosters empathy and sympathy for others, which motivates women to take on leadership roles.

Abstract

Markets have an important role as a means of fulfilling community needs and also the economic welfare of a region. The government is responsible for authorizing the existence of markets, both traditional markets and modern markets. The aim of this research is to determine the transparency of traditional market and modern market governance policies in Pemalang Regency. This research uses a qualitative descriptive research method with a case study approach and the data required is primary and secondary data obtained through observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this research use the transparency dimension which shows that there is openness of the Pemalang Regency regional government in determining governance policies in traditional markets and modern markets in Pemalang Regency. The inhibiting factors in implementing this policy are communication between regional governments and third parties, cooperation partners, and inaccuracies in regional government strategies.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the Dynamic Governance capability of the sub-district education coordinator in the implementation of education affairs at Rokan Hulu District. The type of research used is qualitative by collecting data using observation, interviews and documentation and then the data obtained is analyzed descriptively qualitatively. The results of the study show that in implementing education affairs, the sub-district coordinator has quite optimal capability in dealing with Dynamic Governance where from a thinking ahead perspective, the sub-district coordinator must be able to plan curriculum development, identify resource needs, anticipate challenges faced by the assisted education units in the future, promoting innovation amidst the times, as well as building partnerships with relevant stakeholders. The thinking again attitude carried out by the sub-district coordinator is to carry out continuous evaluations, respond to UPTD changes, and make corrections to recommendations for comprehensive solutions to existing problems. In terms of thinking across, education coordinators still have to provide policy implications through training, overcoming complex challenges that occur in each of the assisted education units. Factors inhibiting the Dynamic Governance capability of the District Education Coordinator in the implementation of education affairs in Rokan Hulu Regency consist of limited authority to make policies and also limited human resources that cause multiple positions and increase the workload.

Abstract

Health services in local governments are a crucial element in meeting public health needs. This research aims to explore the factors that influence the quality and accessibility of health services at the local level, with a focus on health infrastructure, human resources, financing, health technology, and community participation. This research aims to analyze the quality and accessibility of public health services in local government. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach by collecting data from previous studies that are relevant to health service issues in local government. The data that has been collected will be processed to support a more in-depth analysis of these issues. The results of this study found that the evaluation of health infrastructure, availability of human resources, financing, and health policies play an important role in the quality and accessibility of health services in local governments. While the adoption of technology in healthcare offers great opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness, privacy and technology access challenges still need to be addressed. Community participation and health awareness encourage healthy behavior and play an active role in health maintenance, which in turn can support the quality of health services. This research provides a holistic and in-depth view of the health system in local government, illustrating the need for collaboration between government, health service providers, and communities in dealing with complex health issues.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the phenomenon of regional government in Indonesia that has not fully optimized the regional financial performance. The good financial performance of a government in the region can be seen through how the government in the region regulates and manages its Regional Budget and Expenditures (APBD) which are used to provide financing for development needs and activities in the region. Performance from a financial perspective that is going well and is progressing will be directly proportional to the increase in regional income. This means that there is efficiency and effectiveness of the working power of finance in local governments. There is an increase in the working power of the finances will bring the existing government in the region to be able to optimize the allocation of capital expenditure in order to fulfill regional development and have an impact on improving the quality of public services. The purpose of this study is to analyze the working power of Regional Government finances, both Provinces, Regencies and Cities in the region of Riau Province by measuring the level of Efficiency Effectiveness of Regional Original Revenue, Regional Finance, Degree of Fiscal Decentralization, independence from Finance in the Region , as well as the SiLPA Financing Rate. The results of the study show that the working power of Regional Finance in the form of Regional Financial Efficiency, Effectiveness of Local Own Revenue, Degree of Fiscal Decentralization, independence from Regional Finance, and Level of SiLPA Financing jointly influence and have significance for spending from capital for Public Services. Partial Financial Independence in the Regions does not have significance nor influence in the context of Capital Expenditures for Public Services. The effectiveness of Regional Own Revenue partially has no significance and also influences Capital Expenditures for Public Services. The efficiency of Regional Finance partially has significance and also influences on Capital expenditures for Public Services. And the level of SiLPA financing partially has no significance and also no influence on capital spending for public services.

Abstract

Governance of the Implementation of the Direct Cash Assistance Program (BLT) in Periuk District, Tangerang City. This study aims to find out how the governance of the implementation of the Direct Cash Assistance Program (BLT) in Periuk District, Tangerang City and to find out what factors are inhibiting the governance of implementing the Direct Cash Assistance Program (BLT) in Periuk District. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected by observation, interview and documentation techniques. The types and sources of data are primary data and secondary data. Data analysis techniques include data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The theoretical concept used in this study is the Good Governance Indicator in Mahsun et al (2018: 48), namely Transparency, Accountability, Participation.The results of the research and changes that have been carried out by researchers, as well as based on research indicators which are the source of the basis for this study include transparency, accountability, participation. The research results show that 2 indicators show that governance is optimal this program properly, namely the indicators of transparency (transparency), participation (participation). While the indicators of accountability still need to be improved even better. The inhibiting factors included, among other things, data from the Community Welfare Integrated Data (DTKS) that were not quite right on target and double data ownership on the identification number (NIK) or E-KTP.
