Abstract

Aqidah Akhlak is often seen as a boring subject and does not open up enough space for students to be more critical and creative in their learning process. It is not surprising that students become lazy and less enthusiastic about taking this subject. So a teacher must choose the right learning methods and approaches that not only make the learning process interesting but also provide space for students to be creative and actively involved throughout the learning process. Until now, various efforts have been made to develop a moral aqidah learning system, one of which is by adapting the learning style through a constructivist approach that is adapted to the characteristics of the moral aqidah itself. The constructivist approach is an activity that allows students to build their own thoughts with their knowledge. From the above phenomenon, researchers are interested in conducting research on the application of a constructivist approach in students of moral aqidah at MTS Al-Kautsar Depok, the factors that support and hinder and the efforts made to overcome the problems faced.

Abstract

This article discusses the challenges faced by Islamic law in the contemporary education system, focusing on perspectives, conflicts, and solutions. The developments in globalization and technology have transformed the educational landscape, creating the need to integrate Islamic law values into an increasingly secular curriculum. This article identifies several key issues, including differing interpretations of Islamic law, a lack of understanding among educators, and the marginalization of important elements of Islamic law. Conflicts often arise regarding curriculum, teaching methods, and educational policies. To address these challenges, this article offers solutions that include adaptive and innovative Islamic education approaches, as well as the integration of fundamental principles of Islamic law with modern educational methods and technologies. This research aims to bridge the gap between Islamic law and the contemporary education system, ensuring the relevance and positive contribution of Islamic law in shaping an educated and morally upright generation.

Abstract

This research aims to detail the Islamic journey in the city of Barus with the aim of understanding the development of Islam in the territory of Nusantara. On March 24, 2017, the Government of the Republic of Indonesia officially designated the city of Barus as the zero-point monument of the center of Nusantara Islamic civilization. The research methods used are qualitative, with historical approaches, criticism, and interpretation. The researchers used the following scheme: first, evaluate historical information sources related to Islamic history in Barus, then carry out analysis, criticism, and interpretation of such information. The results will reveal the role of Barus as the starting point for the spread of Islam in Nusantara, followed by its spread to other regions such as Peureulak and Pasai. Although Barus accepted Islam early, the territory did not form a power or Islamic empire that had political power.

Abstract

The development of learning strategy continuous to be main topic of discussion in learning process. All of the implementer and the stakeholders want the change that leads to better learning. The term differentiation of learning style comes up to highlight that every human has different learning style that impacts to the choice of learning strategy implemented. This research used qualitative approach which focused on how al-Qur’an has different learning styles as well that are found in some stories written in al-Quran. This research used library research that would investigate about al-Quran that delivers about learning process and educational knowledge. The findings of this research indicated that from three stories taken from al-Quran gave three different descriptions of learning styles. How Qobil story showed learning process with visual learning style. Then story about Luqmanul Hakim and his son revealed auditory learning style, while Ibrohim and Ismail’s story presented kinesthetic learning style. By seeing this result, it indicated that al-Quran has described the difference of learning style in every story that proved the difference of learning styles have existed since ancient time in accordance with the potency and the need of learning process. Those three stories are able to develop in today learning process.

Abstract

The significance of the moderate Islam internalization approach within the educational context of border regions underscores the relevance and importance of this research endeavor. By focusing on the pivotal role of educators as primary agents, it becomes imperative to formulate effective strategies aimed at enhancing the literacy of moderate Islamic principles as an integral facet of personal and societal development within vocational school environments. The purpose of this study is to examine the efficacy of literacy-based instructional methods in promoting and cultivating religious moderation among educators in vocational schools situated within border regions. The research employs a quasi-experimental methodology with a primary emphasis on assessing the impact of literacy-oriented instruction on the comprehension of the significance of practicing religion moderately. This study also investigates the development of attitudes and behaviors characterized by religious moderation, as well as the fostering of sincere ethics and friendships among adherents of diverse faiths. The research findings indicate a positive effect of the literacy-based instructional approach on the predefined objectives. Educators who participated in this instructional approach demonstrated an improved understanding of the importance of practicing religion moderately. Moreover, they exhibited an enhanced ability to cultivate attitudes and behaviors characterized by religious moderation in their daily lives. The interaction between educators and practitioners of different faiths also exhibited greater harmony, thereby fostering an enhanced ethical framework for religious practice.

Abstract

The background of the research is based on the rapid development of technological times, now digital technology has entered various aspects of life, including the world of education. Now digital learning media is one of the new innovations applied by MTs Pembangunan Jakarta in increasing student interest in learning. The purpose of this study was to determine the perception of the use of digital learning media in increasing student interest in learning at MTs Pembangunan Jakarta. The research method used is a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach. The research subjects consisted of the Principal, Deputy Principal of the Curriculum Section, Akidah Akhlak Teacher, 4 students of class VII MTs Pembangunan Jakarta. Data collection techniques through field observations, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques are carried out by collecting data, reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the perception of the use of digital learning media at MTs Pembangunan Jakarta can increase students' interest in learning, this can be achieved through the relevance of the use of digital learning media running with the presence of competent teachers in teaching, by operating digital learning provides convenience and also the availability of complete infrastructure facilities, in addition to providing advantages and benefits, of course there are also disadvantages such as signal networks, and teachers who are stuttering in technology. Apart from the shortcomings in the use of digital media, digital learning can make students feel happy because teachers can design attractive teaching materials such as with E-Modules in the SmartMP application, learning with tablets and televisions makes students more focused and attentive to the teacher, involving students in learning such as making groups, discussions, making students more active in learning.

Abstract

Women are one of God's most glorified creations. Therefore, women are obliged to cover their private parts in order to maintain the honor that Allah has bestowed on them. For every Muslim woman who has reached the age of puberty, hiding or covering her private parts is mandatory. However, basically the majority of class X-E students at SMAN 74 Jakarta still do not implement this optimally. The aim of this journal is twofold: first, to find out how well the female students of X-E SMAN 74 Jakarta understand the importance of covering their private parts according to Islamic law; and second, increasing awareness of the importance of carrying out religious commands by finding out how well the female students of X-E SMAN 74 Jakarta understand the importance of covering their private parts according to Islamic religious law. This research uses descriptive qualitative research techniques based on field observations. It is believed that this research can be a reference source for readers, especially Muslim women, so that they always cover their private parts. This is in line with Islamic teachings, which aim to uphold high moral standards and maintain the privileges given to Muslims.

Abstract

This research aims to determine how much the fun learning method can increase students' interest in learning about the Al-Qur’an. This research uses a descriptive method. Data was obtained from Pondok Tahfizh and Tilawah Baye El Hikmah Depok students. The research method uses sampling techniques via random sampling, with data analysis using descriptive percentages. The research results show that the fun learning method can strengthen students' interest in learning the Al-Qur’an, with results based on indicators of learning interest, namely; (1) students show a happy attitude in participating in the learning process; (2) students are attentive in following the Al-Qur'an learning process; (3) students have a high desire to learn, by attending every day. Thus, using fun learning methods can create a more active and enjoyable learning process. The results of this research imply that to increase students' interest in learning, one thing teachers must do in the learning process is to use fun learning methods by creating a pleasant learning atmosphere so that students are interested in participating in the Al-Qur'an learning process.

Abstract

This research is a field research, while the research approach is a quantitative approach, meaning that the objectivity of the research design is carried out using statistical processing of numbers, structures and controlled experiments. Judging from the population and sample, this research is a population research, because it involves all research subjects, namely class VIII. The data collection technique uses documentation of questionnaire distribution. The data obtained were analyzed using quantitative statistics. Habit of Dhuha Recitation on Student Learning Motivation in the Qur'an Hadith Subject at Mts Gunung Putri Bogor in the 2023/2024 Academic Year. In the good category. This can be seen from the analysis of the Habit of Dhuha Recitation of Class VIII Students at MTs Gunung Putri Bogor in the 2023/2024 Academic Year with a good category. Based on the distribution of the questionnaire style carried out by the researcher on the correlative quantitative analysis of the results of the study showed that there was an influence between the Habit of Dhuha Recitation on Student Learning Motivation in the Qur'an Hadith Subject at Mts Gunung Putri Bogor in the 2023/2024 Academic Year. On students' learning motivation in the subject of Qur'an Hadith class VIII MTs Gunung Putri Bogor. This is proven by the analysis of the regression test Based on the description above Sig 0.005 <0.05 and tcount 2.949 and ttable with a significance level of 5%, namely 2.008. So it can be said that tcount> ttable, namely 2.949> 2.008 so that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. The results of this study are expected to contribute knowledge for teachers, students, parents, MTs and others that the habit of Tadarus Dhuha can affect students' learning motivation.

Abstract

Character education is a fundamental aspect in the development of one's personality and morals. Surah Yusuf, one of the surahs in the Qur'an, contains educational values ​​that are very relevant to forming noble morals. This study aims to analyze the values ​​of character education contained in Surah Yusuf and explore ways in which these values ​​can be applied in educating a generation with character and high morals. This study uses a qualitative method with an integrative approach that combines the study of interpretation, pedagogy, and character values. The results of the study show that Surah Yusuf contains character values ​​such as honesty, patience, determination, and justice that can be integrated into the educational process to form a generation with strong character and high morals.
