Abstract

This research aims to analyze influence of intellectual capital on firm value with ROA as a moderating variable in banking companies in Indonesia. This research uses intellectual capital value added consisting of VACA, VAHU, and STVA as independent variable. This research also examines the relationship between intellectual capital and firm values which are moderated by financial ratios. The financial ratio used is return on assets which is used as a moderating variable. The samples consisted of 14 companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange and published their financial statement in the 2012-2016 period. The data was used in this research was the secondary data and selected by using purposive techniques. The analysis implement that used was the linear regression analysis at a 5% significance level. The results of this research provides evidence that intellectual capital value added which is the sum of VACA, VAHU, and STVA has a positive effect on the value of the firm by being moderated by ROA. Based on the results of this research, it was also provides evidence that intellectual capital affects the value of the firm by moderating ROA.

Abstract

This study aims to determine: (1) the relationship and influence of motivation on public service, (2) the relationship and influence of employee performance on public service, and (3) the relationship and influence of motivation and employee performance simultaneously on public service. The subjects of this research are all employees of Cisaat District, Sukabumi District, totaling 31 people. Methods of data collection through survey by using questionnaire. Data analysis technique used in this research is Multiple Linear Regression Analysis. The results showed that: (1) the motivation positively affect the public service; (2) the employee performance has no effect on public service; (3) simultaneously motivation and employee performance postively affect the public service.

Abstract

The purpose of this study to determine the effect of the dimensions or variables, brand image and personal selling to purchase intention. Design / methodology / approach: The research method used survey method using questionnaires distributed to 118 sample. While quality testing instruments Techniques include test validity and reliability testing. And techniques of data analysis using descriptive analysis and correlation, while to test the hypothesis, partial analysis (T test) and simultaneous (F test) are used. Results: Where as the two independent variables have a significant positive impact on purchase intention which is the brand image and personal selling. Study limitations / implications: The analysis was only performed on one branch and only two dimensions or variables are tested. Expected application of the marketing mix can be formulated and adapted to local environmental conditions and culture in order to be implemented.

Abstract

This study aims to determine: (1) the influence of leadership style on employee performance, (2) the influence of welfare on employee performance, and (3) the influence of leadership style and welfare on employee performance. The subjects of this research are employees who work at Selabintana Hotel. The number of respondents in this study were 102 employees. The method of collecting data through a survey using a questionnaire. The analysis technique used in this research is multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that (1) leadership style had a positive and significant effect on employee performance, so Ha1 is accepted; (2) welfare has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, so Ha2 is accepted; (3) simultaneously, leadership style and welfare have a positive and significant effect on employee performance with detemination coefficient of 0,409 so that Ha3 is accepted.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of dimensions or variables, motivation and work discipline on employee performance. Methodology: The research method uses a survey method using a questionnaire distributed to 51 MNC Sky Vision employees. While the instrument quality testing techniques include validity, reliability and normality tests. And data analysis techniques using quantitative analysis, while for hypothesis testing using multiple linear regression analysis. Results: based on the results of the t test (partial) conducted that the motivation variable does not affect the performance of employees with a significance value above 0.05 (0.074 ≤ 0.05), while for work discipline variables affect the performance of employees with a significance value below 0, 05 (0.00 ≤ 0.05). Based on the F test (simultaneous) motivation and work discipline simultaneously have a positive effect on employee performance with a significance value below 0.05 (0.000 ≤ 0.05). But, in relation to the independent variable on the dependent variable, motivation and work discipline only have an effect of 42.3% on employee performance and 57.7% are influenced by variables not examined in this study. Limitations of the study: An analysis of the influence of motivation and work discipline is only done in one branch and only two dimensions or variables are tested. It is expected that the application of motivation can be formulated and adjusted to the existing working conditions in the company.

Abstract

This study examines how trade financing as well as non performing financing (NPF) affect the profitability of Islamic banking in Indonesia. The profitability is measured by return on assets. The sample selection method is purposive sampling and obtained seven Islamic banks are being sampled, that is Bank Muamalat Indonesia, Bank Syariah Mandiri, Bank BNI Syariah, Bank Bukopin Syariah, Bank Panin Syariah, Bank BCA Syariah, and BRI Syariah in 5 periods of observation. Multiple regression is used to analyze the data. The result shows that trade financing have no affect while non performing financing has negatively affect on the profitability of Islamic banks.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of brand equity and country of origin on customer behavior. This study uses a survey method, with a correlational approach. The location of the research was carried out in 5 Snenior High School in Sukabumi City with the entire population of class 12. Sampling using purpose sample technique as many as 169 out of 290 population by collecting data using quizonoer. The analysis technique uses descriptive analysis, multiple linear regression analysis, F test and t test. The results stated that the Brand Equity variable had no significant effect on Customer Behavior with a significance value of 0.120 (p> 0.05). Furthermore, based on the results of research conducted for the Country of Origin variable, the above shows the value of Sig. amounting to 0,000 (p <0.05), therefore the hypothesis is accepted, meaning that the Country of Origin variable has a significant effect on Customer Behavio. Then it is known that Brand equity and Country of origin if together will have a significant effect on customer behavior with a value of 396.415 r and Sig. F is 0,000 (p <0,05). So it can be concluded that brand equity and country of origin can influence customer behavior in choosing a brand of handphone.

Abstract

This research was conducted at the Sukabumi Branch of the Savings and Loans Cooperative and the Prosperous Cooperative (KSP-SB) with a full address on Jl. R.E Martadinata No. 62 B Cikole Village, Cikole District, Sukabumi City- (0266) 211867, This study runs from January 2018 to completion.The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of leadership style (X1) and organizational culture (X2) on productivity of employee (Y). The types and sources of data used in this study consisted of primary data and secondary data with a total sample of 30 people. Sampling is done using population sampling method. Technical quality testing tools include testing validity and reliability, classical assumptions, and data analysis techniques using descriptive and correlation analysis. Whereas to determine the effect of independent variables (X) on the dependent variable (Y), multiple linear regression analysis was used which included the t test and F test with the help of SPSS version 16.0. Based on the results of the partial test (t test), it can be seen that the leadership style variable has a positive but not significant effect on productivity of employee, while the organizational culture variable has a positive and significant influence on productivity of employee. Based on the results of the Simultaneous Test (Test F) it is known that the variables of leadership style and organizational culture together have a significant influence on productivity of employee at the Sukabumi Branch of the Joint Savings and Loan Cooperative (KSP-SB).

Abstract

Motorcycles are said to be a means of land transfortation that is very popular with many people in the country but also in various parts of the world. In this era of advanced writers become writers on the rapid technology that is very rapid today, the author increasingly ideas for where in one program what is the application of motorcycle carburetor damage system de ngan forward chaining method or often called the application of expert applications into the quality of motorcycle service activities, especially in the workshop in a workshop. The author tried to modify an application that will be a lot of much loved sep eda motor to be able to easily get users more solutions from all solutions experienced by users. Applications that will design whether there is a carburetor motorcycle damage system by forward chaining and using basic visual tools as well as for modeling using UML (Unified Modeling Language) with microsoft access input database.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of: (1) Shopping Lifestyle on Impulse Buying, (2) Hedonic Shopping Motivation on Impulse Buying, (3) Shopping Lifestyle and Hedonic Shopping Motivation on Impulse Buying. The population and sample used in this study are 100 online shopee consumers who always do Impulse Buying. The data collection technique in this research is to use primary data sources from several questionnaires. The prerequisite tests for this study were the normality test, the multicollinearity test, and the hoeteroscedasticity test. The analytical method used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that shopping lifestyle has a significant effect on impulse buying. Hedonic shopping motivation has not effect on impulse buying. Simultaneously, shopping lifestyle and hedonic shopping motivation have an effect on impulse buying.
