Abstract

Recruitment of Government Employees with Employment Agreements (PPPK) is a strategic step by the government in fulfilling manpower for certain positions in the public sector. PPPK recruitment held in the last two years has become a hot topic because of differences with the concepts promoted in the State Civil Apparatus Law with its implementation. In this article, we contribute to the literature by describing the PPPK recruitment system in 2022, especially for health workers in one of the government agencies, namely the Ministry of Health. In the first step, we explained about determining the needs of health workers in the year of creation of this article. The next step, we describe the PPPK recruitment of health workers with a closed system, where participants come from health workers who have worked in government-owned health agencies and are closed to the public. From the author's observations, we that this recruitment system has not optimally overcome the crisis of health workers that occurs and is more as a conversion of honorary workers with strict selection. Approximately 7,800 Non-ASN (honorary) employees were selected for the 5,322 formations offered, leaving 944 formations unfilled. But despite it all, when viewed from the honorary problem that does not end, the PPPK with this scheme actually provides a solution in the form of an affirmation policy, which is a more partial policy for those who meet the criteria. Especially considering that non-ASN health workers, whose number is currently more than twenty-three thousand people, their existence is an important asset that needs to be considered for their status and position. Health workers are trained professionals whose certainty of existence is an important key in health services in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the Antecedents of Consumer Purchase Intentions Contemporary Local Coffee Shop. The dependent variable used in this study is Consumer Purchase Intention. The independent variables used in this study are Interactivity, Informativeness, Personalization, Trendiness, Word of Mouth, Brand Image and Brand Equity. This study collected data using purposive sampling method, data was collected by distributing questionnaires online to 215 respondents. This study uses the Structural Equation Model (SEM) analysis method. The results of this study indicate that: (1) Interactivity has a positive effect on Brand Image, (2) Informativeness has no positive effect on Brand Image, (3) Personalization has a positive effect on Brand Image, (4) Trendiness has a positive effect on Brand Image, (5) Word of Mouth has a positive effect on Brand Image, (6) Brand Image has a positive effect on Brand Equity, (7) Brand Equity has a positive effect on Consumers Purchase Intention.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate public communications made by the East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) provincial government (Pemprov) regarding the increase in the entrance fee for the Komodo National Park (TNK) area. As is known, the decision caused polemic in the community due to communication errors. The research data collection was carried out using primary data, namely conducting in-depth interviews and documentation as well as secondary data in the form of literature studies. Interviews were conducted with informants and documentation as well as secondary data in the form of literature studies. The results of the study show that the NTT Provincial Government's public communication in the future must pay attention to aspects of openness, public participation, optimizing communication media and communication skills in conveying new policies to the public.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the motivations and expectations of Indonesian Foreign Terrorist Fighters to return to their home countries. The development of this research uses a qualitative approach through interviews with resource persons and literature studies from related literature. Furthermore, the data obtained was analyzed using the Miles and Huberman analysis technique. The results of this study show that there are four factors of encouragement or motivation and three hopes of returning from the Foreign Terrorist Fighter, including continuing jihad, regret, disappointment, and the desire to survive. While the return expectations of the Foreign Terrorist Fighter, namely global jihad, normal life, and decent life.

Abstract

Due to the vital role of airports in regional development and progress, this study examines the effect of training, individual characteristics, and competencies on employee performance at the Papua Class I Airport Organizing Unit (UPBU) Office. In addition, this study also tested competency variables as mediators. This research is a quantitative study. The research data was obtained by distributing questionnaires to 220 employees at the UPBU Class I Offices in Merauke, Wamena, and Sorong. Only 129 questionnaires can be used as research data. The data analysis method used is path analysis with the help of SPSS software version 25. The results of this study show that training and individual characteristics have a positive and significant effect on employee performance and competence. Competence affects employee performance and can mediate the relationship between training and individual characteristics to employee performance.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR), Investing Policy Ratio (IPR), Non Performing Loans (NPL), Non Performing Earning Assets (APB), Interest Rate Ratio (IRR), Net Open Position (NOP), Operating Costs to Operating Income (BOPO) and Fee Based Income Ratio (FBIR) to Return On Assets (ROA) at Foreign Exchange Regional Development Banks registered with OJK. PT BPD Riau Kepri, PT BPD South Sumatra and Bangka Belitung, PT BPD East Kalimantan and North Kalimantan and PT BPD South Sulawesi and West Sulawesi; are the samples of this study using purposive sampling method. This study uses secondary data from financial reports for the period quarter I, 2018 to quarter II, 2022. The data analysis technique is descriptive analysis and uses multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study reveal that simultaneously LDR, IPR, NPL, APB, IRR, PDN, BOPO and FBIR have a significant effect on ROA. Partially, LDR, IPR, APB, IRR BOPO and FBIR have an insignificant effect on ROA, while NPL has a significant negative effect on ROA.

Abstract

With the growth of various e-commerce applications, it has become increasingly important to understand consumer spending patterns and provide products that best respond to their needs. One way of doing this is by utilizing the data available in consumer product reviews to improve the level of content interaction. I n order to tap into this data, companies can utilize a process called sentiment analysis to identify consumers’ sentiments or reactions towards certain products. This study proposes to compare different methods of sentiment analysis focused on one specific product, utilizing a machine learning approach with Naïve Bayes and Support Vector Machine classifiers with the aim of finding which method produces the best results in terms of accuracy, precision, recall and F-measure. A specific focus has been made to analyze the consumer reviews of wireless earphone products from the Indonesian e-commerce company Tokopedia. The results of this study show that utilizing the Naïve Bayes classifier, enhanced with hyperparameter tuning produced the best results in terms of accuracy, recall, and F-measure with a value of 77.03%, 73.03%, and 74.41% respectively. Whereas the best precision was obtained by utilizing an SVM classifier enhanced with hyperparameter tuning, producing a value of 76.05%.

Abstract

One of the government's strategic programs to reduce national logistics costs by realizing a consolidation strategy for the unification of BUMN port services in 2021. A total of 15 container terminals that were originally managed from each Pelindo, will switch management (acquired) by Pelindo TPK. These changes may cause inconvenience. This then causes the phenomenon of change related to inconvenience which is interesting to study. This research was conducted using a qualitative method in the form of a case study. The population of this research is container terminal employees. The data collection method used was by conducting interviews and observations. The data analysis conducted in this study used critical incident technique (CIT) analysis. Employee discomfort is caused by employee concerns over the integration that occurs. The reaction/response shown by employees is shocked by the phase of change for the integration that occurs. The impact/consequence of the inconvenience is that it has the potential to cause disappointment from employees, thus causing problems related to the changes that occur, and will lead to rejection behavior from employees.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kebijakan dividen pada perusahaan manufaktur. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah 26 perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia selama periode 2016-2021. Teknik pengambilan sampel dan metode analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik penentuan sampel dengan kriteria tertentu dan regresi data panel. Variabel independen dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari likuiditas, profitabilitas, ukuran perusahaan, ukuran dewan, leverage keuangan, dan kepemilikan institusional. Variabel dependen adalah kebijakan dividen. Hasil regresi data panel dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa likuiditas, profitabilitas, leverage keuangan dan kepemilikan institusional erpengaruh signifikan terhadap kebijakan dividen, sedangkan ukuran perusahaan dan ukuran dewan tidak berpengaruh terhadap kebijakan dividen. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi acuan bagi perusahaan manufaktur dalam mengelola kebijakan dividen agar memperoleh tingkat dividen yang lebih tinggi dengan cara mengelola likuiditas dengan baik, memaksimalkan pengelolaan laba ke dalam pembagian dividen, dan meminimalisir leverage keuangan. Hasil penelitian ini juga diharapkan dapat menjadi acuan bagi investor untuk mempertimbangkan likuiditas, profitabilitas, ukuran perusahaan, ukuran dewan, leverage keuangan, dan kepemilikan institusional sebagai faktor-faktor yang akan mempengaruhi kebijakan dividen pada perusahaan manufaktur.

Abstract

PLTD Nusa Penida is one of the Private Owned Enterprises in Klungkung Bali, which was established to meet the electricity needs of the surrounding community. The use of diesel engines as the main tool to help the process of electricity generation operational activities certainly creates noise that can interfere with the hearing process of employees, especially if it happens every day and takes place continuously. Therefore, it can be ascertained that employees who work in the Nusa Peninda PLTD field have a high risk of noise disturbance. The purpose of this study is to determine and analyze the effect of noise intensity on work stress levels, hearing health problems and employee performance. The method used is a quantitative approach with the type of exploratory research. The sample amounted to 35 people. The results of the study concluded that (1) noise intensity affects the hearing health problems of employees of PLTD Nusa Penida Bali. (2) Noise intensity does not affect the health problems of employees of PLTD Nusa Penida Bali. (3) Employee hearing health problems do not affect the performance of PLTD Nusa Penida Bali employees, and (4) Employee stress levels affect the performance of PLTD Nusa Penida Bali employees.
