Abstract

This research analyzes the influence of e-filing utilization, taxation understanding, and taxpayer awareness on compliance levels at KPP Sukomanunggal Surabaya. The research methodology employed a quantitative approach with multiple regression analysis of 123 respondents selected through purposive sampling. The research instrument in the form of structured questionnaires met validity and reliability tests with Cronbach's Alpha values ranging from 0.860-0.880. Analysis results demonstrate that e-filing utilization has a dominant influence on taxpayer compliance with a beta coefficient of 0.600, followed by taxation awareness (0.185) and taxation understanding (0.176). The research model explains 88.6% of taxpayer compliance variance with an F-value of 308.190 (p<0.001). Findings indicate that taxation technology modernization through e-filing serves as the primary catalyst in enhancing compliance behavior. Integration of technological aspects, education, and moral consciousness development creates optimal synergy in taxation compliance management. Research implications emphasize the urgency of implementing holistic strategies that combine technological convenience with enhanced taxation literacy and civic responsibility internalization to create sustainable voluntary compliance.

Abstract

Merger and acquisition of a banking company are generally understood as efforts to improve the company by combining strengths or balancing the weaknesses of one company with the strengths of another. To face the dynamics of the domestic and global economy and information technology, it is necessary to strengthen the structure, resilience, and competitiveness of the national banking industry, which can be achieved by strengthening bank capital and banking consolidation in Indonesia, especially Regional Development Banks. To encourage the stability of the banking industry, particularly the strengthening of individual banks, the merger and acquisition strategy in the form of banking consolidation needs to be considered. Banking consolidation policy is one of the policy options taken by regulators to strengthen the stability of the financial system. This study aims to determine the appropriate transaction structure and price for PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Banten Tbk (BEKS). This research uses quantitative and descriptive analysis of the financials of PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Banten Tbk (BEKS) using the Free Cash Flow to the Firm (FCFF), Liquidation and Accounting Valuation, and Relative Valuation methods. The results project significant growth for the company over five years. The equity value per share of BEKS is Rp 14,89 compared to the market share price of Rp 23, indicating overvaluation. The acquiring company needs to carefully reconsider BEKS prospects and negotiate the price before proceeding with the acquisition process.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the relationship between workplace ostracism, organizational cynicism, psychological capital, and counterproductive work behavior (CWB). Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 120 members of the New Indonesian Expedition Cooperative in Wonosobo, Central Java. The study shows that workplace ostracism has a significant negative impact on counterproductive work behavior. Organizational cynicism serves as a significant mediator in the relationship between workplace ostracism and counterproductive work behavior. However, psychological capital does not show a significant moderating role in weakening the impact of organizational cynicism on counterproductive work behavior. The results of this study emphasize the importance of management efforts in addressing workplace ostracism and reducing organizational cynicism to mitigate counterproductive work behavior.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of transformational leadership on political skills with organizational commitment as a moderating variable. This study departs from the need for political parties for human resources who are not only loyal but also competent in building social influence and strategic networks. The research method applies a quantitative approach through a survey technique to 29 Tidar administrators in Sidoarjo Regency. Data processing was carried out using the Partial Least Square (PLS) method using SmartPLS 4.0 software. The research findings show that transformational leadership and organizational commitment have a positive and significant effect on political skills. However, the relationship between transformational leadership and organizational commitment does not show a significant impact on political skills. This finding confirms the significance of the role of inspiring leadership style and emotional commitment of members in shaping socio-political skills, although both do not support each other simultaneously. This study provides theoretical contributions to the development of leadership literature and interpersonal skills in political organizations, as well as practical impacts to improve the quality of leadership and loyalty of party members.

Abstract

This study examines the types of pronouns in the Ketapang Malay dialect based on their referents. Three kinds of pronouns—personal, demonstrative, and interrogative—were used to characterise the sentences and original utterances of speakers of the Ketapang Malay dialect whose data were collected. The results demonstrate that every kind of pronoun has a unique phonological form and is employed in various social contexts, reflecting speaker intentions, geographic location, interpersonal relationships, and ownership. Interrogative pronouns display local forms of apə, siapə, manə, ŋapə, cammmanə, and bilə; demonstrative pronouns have variations like seneʔ, sənun, ɲan, bəgeneʔ, gian, and bəgian, which represent deictic distance; and personal pronouns are differentiated by number and degree of formality, such as aku, saya, kaw, sidaʔ, and diə. Possessive pronouns display a combined form with the word noʔ aku ‘mine’. Pronoun forms and functions in the Ketapang Malay dialect are abundant and reflect the social and cultural structure of the local community, according to this investigation.
