Jurnal ini memuat artikel yang belum pernah dipublikasikan sebelumnya yang berupa artikel hasil penelitian ataupun penelitian terapan, serta artikel telaah yang berkaitan dengan perkembangan ilmu teologi berdasarkan isu-isu terkini. Informasi mengenai pedoman penulisan artikel dan prosedur pengiriman artikel terdapat pada setiap penerbitan. Semua artikel yang masuk akan melalui ‘peer-review process’ setelah memenuhi persyaratan sesuai pedoman penulisan artikel. Penerbitan jurnal ini dilakukan sebanyak enam bulan sekali yaitu pada bulan Mei dan November setiap tahunnya.

Abstract

Society 5.0 has a positive impact on human life, as well as a negative impact. Especially in the field of education, it has a significant impact, especially if it is related to the ministry of the mission of the Kingdom of God. This paper tries to describe the essence of the mission in Christian Religious Education in the era of Society 5.0 and the appropriate learning methods to be practiced by Christian teachers. The approach taken is qualitative with library research. The result builds the foundation of the Biblical mission and the constructive-contextual philosophy of Christian Religious Education. The method in learning is to build a technology-based, character-based learning approach and efforts to integrate mission experience, Christian mission theory and artificial intelligence

Abstract

Counseling for teenagers who are addicted to online games is a service that must be seriously considered by Christian mentors, because through this service and guidance it is hoped that teenagers can be free from dependence and can live as teenagers who are useful for society, nation and state, especially to God. The purpose of this study was to analyze the model of pastoral counseling services to adolescents who are addicted to online games. The research model used is a descriptive model with a qualitative approach, with data collection through interviews with teenage students in three Christian schools in Batu Tourism City. From the data studied, it shows that the problem of online game in adolescents is not an ordinary problem, therefore the school and counseling teachers must pay special, in-depth and focused attention in order to solve adolescent problems. The results of these findings present to: (1) the school or the leadership of the school foundation should provide and apply consistently concerning youth spirituality. (2) the counseling guidance teachers should continue to equip themselves with material deepening and seminars in order to increase their knowledge and prepare themselves in dealing with adolescent problems. (3) counseling guidance teachers should apply new pastoral counseling models such as thegame/game model and the cooperative stepping model that is effective and in accordance with the context of teenagers in Batu Tourism City in order to deal with the problem of online game.

Abstract

Leadership begins with a spritual personal ability possessed, demonstrated through roles and functions, manifested in a moral form that can inspire the lives of others. This means that leadership that can generate trust for others is not only built by authority or spiritual factors solely in an office and power but by exemplary. Talking about leadership in the context of believers is certainly closely related to the moral responsibility that is possessed. This is not only the standard in building one's identity as a spiritual human being that first needs to be achieved and can build, awaken the people around him. The development of self-quality becomes a pattern that strategically improves leadership abilities that have testimony in a wider scope and scope. On the one hand, leadership that can improve self-quality will move dynamically both internally and externally. This can happen because of the benefits caused, penetrating space and time according to the capacity possessed.

Abstract

This paper is about the biblical foundation for Christian education, the foundation found in the Old Testament, namely the book of Malachi. Christian education requires a foundation that comes from the Bible, in which it displays Christian values. Many Christian Educational Institutions, educators (teachers), students do not have sufficient "supplies" in the administration of Christian education, so it is as if the knowledge being studied stands alone, and has nothing to do with existing Christian values. in the Bible. So the purpose of this study is to present the value of Christian education from the Bible which comes from the book of Malachi. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method, where the qualitative approach here is quasi-qualitative. Descriptive description is done by exposing the parts of the Bible that are in the book of Malachi. The method of interpretation used is exegesis. The verses or phrases or sentences or parts that are executed are verses/phrases/sentences/sections that the author considers to contain things that have to do with Education.

Abstract

This paper analyzes the intensity of the relevant gospel preaching based on the theological study of 1 Corinthians 9:19-23 in the midst of the digital age. There are several substances in the study of 1 Corinthians 9:19-23 that have been studied by several previous researchers, but they investigate from different sides. Thus, this paper focuses on the intensity of relevant gospel preaching in the midst of the digital age, seriousness and seriousness are needed in carrying it out. The method used in this study uses a qualitative method with a literature study approach and uses a bible hermeneutics approach. In order to find the results of the intensity of relevant gospel preaching based on the theological study of 1 Corinthians 9:19-23 in the midst of the digital age, the author finds that the church in preaching the gospel needs to improve, understand and open up to the progress of media development in the midst of the digital age, because the media is an effective means of reaching souls in today's digital age. Thus, the author concludes that the intensity of relevant gospel preaching based on the theological study of 1 Corinthians 9:19-23 in the midst of the digital age can be done through live streaming preaching, video recordings, audio recordings, zoom, google meet, and steps for preaching the gospel. which continues to be updated status via Facebook and Instagram. Because the preaching of the gospel through the media is very effective and relevant in the midst of today's digital age.

Abstract

In the Indonesian context, Christian education is commonly known as Christian Religious Education (PAK). It is generally understood that the implementation of PAK consists of teaching the Christian faith in the context of schools and tertiary institutions. The main goal of Christian Religious Education is to bring students to experience an encounter with Jesus Christ, then have a good relationship with God and be able to practice the truths of faith in everyday life. From understanding these goals, in fact PAK itself is holistic. Apart from emphasizing the knowledge aspect, other aspects such as spirituality, ethics, morals, and character must be present in the implementation of PAK in schools. The purpose of this research is to provide an understanding for non-Christian students to remain firm in their faith in the Lord Jesus, as well as to be role models in various aspects of life in the lives of students. This paper uses a qualitative approach, while the research method used is phenomenology. To obtain the data taken by means of interviews and by studying the literature. Because it uses literature studies, primary and secondary data collection techniques use library techniques and related literature. The data collection method or technique used in this paper is related book literature, through online libraries and literature in the form of e-books and articles/e-journals.

Abstract

Talking about the end times is a matter of hope for believers in Jesus Christ who are experiencing trouble and suffering so that later there will come a time of happiness, peace, and encouraging believers to always be ready to welcome the coming of Jesus Christ. In the midst of being a hope for Christians, there are many interpretations and phenomena about the end times that predict the coming of Jesus Christ and the rapture of God's people. This study uses qualitative research, in which the researcher collects as much theory and information from the literature as opinions, ideas, concepts and ideas that are appropriate to the research topic. This study aims to find and reveal the facts of the rapture of believers contained in 1 Thessalonians 4:17. In this study, by analyzing and exegesis a number of data, the researchers found and found that the appointment took place in a double reference and double interpretation manner, that is, both during the period after the writing of 1 Thessalonians (symbolic) and before the thousand year period there were some people believe or the church experiences the great tribulation (Revelation 6-19), the rapture takes place literally.

Abstract

The Bible gives the reader a narrative in John 21:15-19 about the Lord Jesus having a pastoral conversation with Simon Peter who was about to resign and return to his old profession.  Through this text, the author wants to raise and explore it using qualitative methods with a narrative approach from Mark Allan Powell. Through narrative criticism, the author sees events in three important elements where there are events, characters, and places that are in the narrative and draws them out by placing themselves as writers and shadow readers.  This study seeks to answer the question of what Jesus, the Master, through the pastoral conversation, was in the view of the narrator so that Simon Peter gave up his intention to resign from the ministry and what are the implications for the minister of the church who wanted to resign because the leader left ? .  The results of the study found that the Pastoral conversation of the Lord Jesus to Simon Peter evoked cognitive aspects, affection aspects, and psychomotor aspects. The opposition to these aspects can be used by the leader who is about to leave the place of service where there is his servant who intends to resign and follow him.

Abstract

The title raised in this study is Pedagogical-Theological Meaning in the Waura Watu Tradition in the Anakalang Community, Central Sumba. The purpose of this study was to describe and analyze the dynamics of the perceptions of the Anakalang people and the pedagogical-theological meaning of the waura watu (stone pulling) grave tradition in the Anakalang community, Central Sumba. This type of research is qualitative research with in-depth interview techniques conducted on key informants, namely traditional leaders, traditional practitioners, religious leaders, and the organizers of the stone pulling ritual. The results of the study show that the tradition of pulling gravestones has an important meaning in the traditions of the Sumba people, especially to honor or respect their ancestors. Since hundreds of years ago until now. The grave stones in Anakalang have a function that cannot be replaced until now, even though graves are known to be made of cement. The erection of grave stones and the tradition of stone pulling are integrated into the daily life of the Anakalang people against a background of religious conceptions which are seen as the legacy of their ancestors which must be upheld, because they have pedagogical values, namely mutual cooperation, unity in society, kinship, culture and deep theological values. That is why the variety of stone-pulling culture in Sumba has penetrated the theoretical time period and has continued until now as a tradition.
