Abstract

The number of digital advertising channels is expected to overgrow in the future. The overgrowth of digital advertising will potentially increase the risk of advertising that does not comply with the requirements. Food advertising control will continue to face uncertainties in the future. Food and beverage companies have spotted opportunities in integrated communication in digital advertising such as programmatic advertising, advergames, native advertising, unidentified advertising by influencers, and blockchain advertising, which are expected to grow in the next five years. The key focal issue of this research is how digital media technology will affect the supervision of food advertising in Indonesia over the next five years. The study involved expert representatives from the Indonesian FDA, Provincial Health Office, Ministry of Communication and Informatics, University, Broadcasting Committee, Association of Advertising Companies, Food and Beverage Company Association, and e-commerce Association. Through in-depth interviews, 17 driving forces were identified and two critical uncertainties were defined. Those two critical uncertainties, digital technology advancement and digital literacy are formulated into four scenario frameworks. The research also constructs the early warning signals and indicators that distinguish one scenario from another. Scenario planning enables an organization to anticipate the uncertain future and its consequences, which necessitates carefully planning strategic responses to future opportunities and threats.

Abstract

Globalization in the field of education needs to be considered so that the results of national education can compete with developed countries. The management and implementation of education is directed by the Government and the House of Representatives by Law Number 20 of 2003 of 2003 concerning the National Education System and Government Regulation Number 19 of 2005 concerning National Education Standards. PP Number 25 of 2000 Article 2 paragraph (2) states that the Central Government has the authority to develop curriculum and assessment of learning outcomes nationally. These laws and government regulations are the background of this research. The purpose of this study was to determine the correlation of understanding the concept of Cognitive and Psychomotor Operational Verbs with the Formulation of HOTS- based Competency Achievement Indicators in the Learning Implementation Plan (RPP) Indonesian Language Education Students Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of Muhammadiyah North Sumatra Sixth Semester Academic Year 2020-2021. The research method used is Descriptive Explorative Development Research (DEDR). The number of research samples is 41 sixth semester students of the Indonesian Language Education Study Program. The results of the Explorative Descriptive or Pretest study obtained an average understanding of cognitive and psychomotor operational verb concepts = 41.83 and the average value of the formulation of indicators of competency achievement = 58.53. The results of the Descriptive Development or Posttest study obtained that the average value of understanding the concept of cognitive/psychomotor operational verbs was 52.07 and the average value of the formulation of indicators of competency achievement in lesson plans was 75.61. The correlation coefficient value in exploratory descriptive research was 0.45 (category). Weak) and the value of the correlation coefficient in descriptive development research is 0.46 (weak category). Thus, the results of this study can be concluded that if the understanding of the concept of cognitive/psychomotor operational verbs based on Higher Order Thinking Skills is weak, then the formulation of indicators of achievement of competence based on Higher Order Thinking Skills in the Learning Implementation Plan is also weak. Therefore, intensive training is needed from lecturers and students themselves.

Abstract

Public information disclosure (KIP) has been mandated by law since 2008 in Indonesia, which indicates that every citizen has the right to information. This has also been done by countries that implement open government data. The implementation of KIP has not met expectations, as evidenced by the fact that not all districts/cities have information management units, there are still provinces with uninformative and uninformative status, and information disputes are still high. Obstacles such as the change of leader, the mechanism of knowledge that is shared between staff in each management unit has not been evenly distributed, also the utilization of information technology has not been optimized. The potential for the sustainability of public information management could be threatened with discontinuation. In fact, information that is easy, cheap and fast with optimal management is needed by the community. The solution offered in this research is a socio-technical approach, in which aspects of infostructure, infoculture and infrastructure. In order to find the indicators needed for each socio-technical aspect, the soft systems methodology was used, so that a conceptual model of the sustainability of public information management was built. Based on the criteria and sub-criteria indicators found, the Analytic Network Process (ANP) is used to determine the main objective of the need for sustainable management of public information. The results show that the objectives of sustainable information management are based on four priorities. The results of data processing show that from the socio-technical approach the highest priority is technology, followed by the quality of human resources and organizational culture, followed by infrastructure and information management processes. Meanwhile, the priority goals for the sustainability of public information management are firstly that information is available accurately and on time, followed by maintaining the right to public information being fulfilled, increasing public trust in the government and improving the quality of state apparatus performance.

Abstract

Film has developed into a very popular medium because it does more than just provide entertainment. But it also has informative, persuasive, and educative elements in it. In Indonesia, the film industry has been so advanced, with many films of various genres. One of them is a comedy-drama film entitled Susah Sinyal, which is a film about family relationships that are so fluctuating and dynamic due to the many conflicts between the mother and daughter characters. This study uses a descriptive qualitative content analysis method that aims to examine the dialectic of communication that occurs in the Susah Sinyal film by using the elements contained in the Relational Dialectics Theory (RDT). RDT is a theory that explains that in interpersonal relationships, there are various contradictions and tensions that come from multivocality, or differences in interests and desires among the individuals involved. However, this multivocality can achieve unity and resolution if managed through good communication so that the existing contradictions will bring positive changes in the relationship concerned.
