Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic, which impacted the health, social, and economic sectors as a non-natural disaster, led the President to make efforts to handle it with state financial policies by stipulating Perpu Number 1 of 2020. This legal immunity needs to be studied as a standard-issue regarding the state budget to overcome the Covid-19 pandemic. This study aims to examine the pandemic's impact on state finances and how Government policies are in dealing with the Covid-19 pandemic. This study used a normative juridical approach with data obtained from the literature, and the results were analyzed qualitatively. At the technical, operational level, the Government has also issued various policy regulations as a follow-up to Law Number 2 of 2020, which is used as an effort to deal with precarious situations as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, such as fiscal policy stimulus, taxes, social assistance, and policies. Adjustment of regional finances. The problem that was considered urgent due to the Covid-19 pandemic led the Government to stimulate immunity in Law Number 2 of 2020. However, this immunity is given following the principle of good faith for users of state finances

Abstract

The current human resource (HR) fulfillment conditions in this company are still quite low. This can be seen from the percentage of HR fulfillment of approximately 60% of the total HR needs. The strategy of fulfilling human resources through the recruitment and selection process must be done quickly and optimally. The problem that arises is related to the optimization of the talent acquisition process carried out, so that the results obtained are in accordance with the target and have quality that meets the required. In this study, data analysis was used using the random forest method. The method is used to develop a model that can predict the pass level of participants in recruitment and selection quickly and precisely in accordance with the profile of each participant, and can provide insight on the projected achievement of individual performance on each participant if passed at the company, to assist management in making decisions about the participants accepted in the recruitment and selection process. The data population used is data on recruitment and selection participants in 2018. To carry out the process of predicting the graduation rate of prospective employees, data for prospective employees who register for the recruitment and selection process will be used with a total of 17,294 people. The analytical tool in this study uses a people analytic approach. The conclusion of this study is that making people analytics on the process of talent acquisition can be done using the Random Forest Classification method. This method aims to determine the class of each predicted data. Modeling has been made to predict performance achievements, but the performance of the model is still not showing the level of significance in accordance with the standard level of confidence, which is still below 0.05.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the quality of financial reports and the competence of human resources on the implementation of SAKIP (Government Agencies Performance Accountability System). Because in addition to the Financial Reports, each Regional Apparatus is also required to compile a Performance Report. Performance Accountability of Government Agencies is an accountability report of a Regional Apparatus that reflects the success or failure of the vision, mission, in achieving the goals and targets or targets that have been set through the media of periodic accountability. In this regard, it is necessary to develop and implement an appropriate, clear, measurable and legitimate accountability system, which is contained in the Financial Statements. The research method is to use a quantitative research approach through interviews and distributing questionnaires to employees. The population and sample are Echelon III and IV officials in sub-districts throughout Palopo City, along with 100 financial management staff and financial operators. The data analysis method used in this research is multiple linear regression. The results show that the quality of financial reports and the competence of human resources are good, so the application of SAKIP must also be good. Vice versa, if the quality of financial reports and human resource competencies decreases, the application of SAKIP will also decrease.

Abstract

One of the issues that students face today is a lack of politeness in their language. Students' politeness is reflected in their attitudes when sending messages to lecturers. The objective of this study was to determine how polite students are when communicating with their lecturers through WhatsApp.  This study was conducted at a private university in Sukoharjo. The data was obtained from student texts in the lecturer's WhatsApp app. The data was analyzed using Brown and Levinson's (1987) FTA theory on politeness strategies. According to the findings of the study, some students were found sending messages without greeting the lecturers and instead conveying their intentions directly. FTAs are common, and students frequently threaten the lecturers' faces. The words used in a student's message can have an effect on the teacher's feelings and make the conversation appear informal. Students appear to be unaware of social distance, roles and status, and power dynamics when interacting with lecturers. Some students treat lecturers as equals, which comes across as rude and disrespectful. It is strongly suggested that this topic be expanded upon and discussed in a broader context and area for future research. More research could look at this issue from a different perspective.

Abstract

The growing globalization of markets, the bilateral free trade agreements and the development of free trade zones have made the pattern of ethnocentrism of consumers a crucial concern for multinational corporations operating outside their domestic market. Although consumer ethnocentrism is a global phenomenon, there are differences, depending on the country studied, in the degree expressed by consumers. The purpose of this study was to explore the effect of consumer ethnocentrism on purchase intention of domestic batik products compared to imported Batik through TPB and to determine the variables of price sensitivity and attitude as mediation. Data collection was carried out through printed questionnaires using a purposive sampling approach. The questionnaire had collected 200 respondents. Further testing used the equation modelling (SEM) structure. The empirical results of SEM show that all the proposed hypotheses are accepted.
