Abstract

Exponential technological developments are driving the transformation of society to the digital world. Data published by domo.com shows 6.3 million searches occur on Google every minute in 2023. Realizing the importance of adaptation in the digital world for da'wah and religious propagation, the Islamic world began to develop various social media channels, applications and websites. Moreover, content and narratives exposed to extreme thinking are also amplified by this technological sophistication, this adds to the urgency of the presence of moderation content as a counter-narrative to this reality. This research takes the tanwir.ID website as the object of research, a website that is quite prominent and managed by Muhammadiyah, which is one of the largest Islamic organizations in Indonesia. The homepage compiled by tanwir.ID consists of Tafsir, Ulumul Qur'an, Insight, Indept and Video. However, in this study the author limits it to posts that discuss moderation in religion and related to it. The analysis technique was carried out by collecting research data through articles written on the tanwir.ID website since its inception, until posts in June 2024. The purposive sampling technique was used to sort out articles relevant to the theme of moderation. This data was then analyzed using narrative analysis techniques to identify the main themes and strategies for conveying ideas. The results of this study show that tanwir.id contributes to narrating moderate attitudes in religion through the articles it publishes through various narrative strategies, such as book reviews, interactive discussions, religious text-based arguments (tafsir), and contextualization of religious texts with current phenomena. Published articles often emphasize the importance of reconciliation (peace) both intra and inter-religious, fair and proportional attitudes, and avoiding extreme, fanatical and exclusive attitudes.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the cultural values contained in the film "Najih" by Pondok Pesantren Dalwa. The film Najih tells the story of a young man who is determined and never gives up in his journey to learn Arabic. This research is a qualitative descriptive study that uses the research object in the form of the film "Najih" by Pondok Pesantren Dalwa. This research focuses on the film "Najih" with objects in the form of stills from different scenes in the film. Researchers classify signs based on representation, object and interpreter. Through the analysis applied, a lot of data was found that revealed the cultural values in the film "Najih". These cultural values include elements such as knowledge, belief, art, morality, law, customs, skills and habits. This can be seen from the data presented in the research.

Abstract

The main aim of this research is to understand and analyze in depth how students from the Al-Qur'an and Tafsir Science Study Program (Ilha) play an active role in spreading the values ​​of religious moderation through social media. This research problem focuses on the important role of the younger generation, especially Ilha Study Program students, in facing the challenges of radicalism and intolerance which are often spread through social media. This research tries to answer the question of how Ilha Study Program students can become agents of change in spreading the values ​​of religious moderation in the digital space. Qualitative research method with field research type, conducting in-depth interviews with Ilha Study Program students to dig deeper into the i, challenges, strategies, as well as supporting and inhibiting factors they face in spreading the values ​​of religious moderation.    The results of this research can provide a comprehensive picture of the role of Ilha Study Program students in spreading the values ​​of religious moderation on social media. identify strategies used by Ilha Study Program students, such as creating creative content, online discussions, social media campaigns, and collaboration with other parties. The challenges faced are lack of good understanding or just following trends, and manipulation of information or hoax news. The supporting and inhibiting factors for Ilha Study Program students in spreading the values ​​of religious moderation are the influence of peers, being quick and interactive, while the inhibiting factors are a lack of increasing understanding or reducing negative content on social media

Abstract

Personality Conflict using a literary psychology approach is a way to study the behavior of characters in a literary work. with psychological science, readers will explore the mental state of the characters in the literary work. this novel tells the story of Zayni Barakat, a prominent Egyptian muhtasib who also served as governor of Cairo at the end of the Mamluk dinasty. in the Mamluk era, a muhtasib was not only authorized to control the market situation, but also to monitor the behavior and morals of the people. and as Governor, in the midst of a chaotic political and security situation, he controlled the corrupt city through a network of spies and whistleblowers. Zayni Barakat was a pious and praiseworthy leader, honest and just, wise and with integrity, strong and decisive, disciplined and effective. He was much loved by his people. his partiality to the people is evident from his indiscriminate attitude towards the rich and the poor as well..............

Abstract

Keberagaman aliran kepercayaan dan kebatinan di Indonesia telah ada sejak zaman nenek moyang dan bertahan hingga kini. Setiap aliran, seperti animisme dan kebatinan, memiliki karakteristik unik di tiap wilayah tetapi berbagai inti spiritual yang menekankan harmoni antara manusia, alam, dan Tuhan menunjukkan bahwa setiap aliran mengutamakan nilai-nilai seperti pengendalian diri dan kesejahteraan sosial.  Nilai-nilai ini tidak hanya memperkaya kehidupan spiritual individu tetapi juga berkontribusi pada pembangunan etika sosial yang harmonis dalam Masyarakat. Abstract

One approach that can be used is the study of hadith with the approach of the science of maqāṣid al-syarī'ah. 'Abdullah bin Bayyah as one of the scholars who concentrates in the field of maqāṣid certainly has a theory that can be applied, especially his very well-accepted figure in the Eastern and Western worlds. This study aims to describe how the science of maqāṣid al-syarī'ah in the approach of 'Abdullāh bin Bayyah is used to understand the hadith of the Prophet, as well as simple applications that can be carried out. The method used by the researcher is qualitative with the type of library research that makes the book Masyāhid min al-Maqāṣid the main data source, which is then supported by other data sources. The application that the researcher does is on the study of the hadith about seeking treatment with ḥabbat al-saudā'. The research results reveal that after being studied with the maqāṣid approach, the hadith of ḥabbat al-saudā' has the understanding that the main purpose of the hadith is the command to protect oneself or ḥifẓ al-nafs by seeking treatment, and the derivative purpose is that protecting oneself can be done by seeking treatment, resting, eating and drinking nutritious food, exercising, and all things that are in accordance with the needs of each individual for himself. This is because the hadith is general in nature and the Prophet said it based on observations of one of the companions who was sick, then he recommended that medicine.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the narrative of religious harmony values through an ethnographic study of Eid al-Fitr, Christmas and Vesak celebrations in the community of Tajuk, Getasan, Semarang Regency. The importance of this research lies in the effort to understand how interfaith harmony can be maintained and strengthened through religious traditions and celebrations, which in turn can contribute to social stability and harmony in a multicultural society.The research method used is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. The research involved the active participation of various religious believers in Tajuk, who provided in-depth perspectives on the practices and values underlying their religious celebrations.The purpose of this research is to identify and analyze the values of harmony that emerge in the celebrations of Hari Raya Idul Fitri, Hari Raya Natal, and Hari Raya Vaisak, as well as to understand how these values are translated in everyday social interactions. The research also aims to provide practical recommendations for policy makers and community leaders in promoting interfaith harmony. preliminary results show that religious celebrations in Tajuk are not only a spiritual moment but also an occasion to strengthen social ties and interfaith harmony.

Abstract

The study examines how spiritual formation is integrated into various aspects of seminary formation, which leads to answer the main question "How do the Holy Infant Seminarians integrate spiritual formation to the different aspects of seminary formation?" , using a qualitative single case study of the Holy Infant Seminary. It highlights that communal prayers, adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, and Eucharistic celebrations are key seminary structures that support the spiritual growth of seminarians. Additionally, personal prayer, meditation, journal writing, and reading spiritual books nurture both their spirituality and intellectual development. These practices also enhance their human formation, offering opportunities for self-reflection. The study concludes that integrating spiritual practices into both the seminary’s structures and seminarians’ personal lives is essential for the holistic development of seminarians.

Abstract

Diversity in religion is inevitable. Zakat and Dana are concepts of giving in Islam and Buddhism that show diversity in religious approaches to the value of giving. This paper starts with three important questions: a) How are the concepts of zakat and dana in the Qur'an and Tripitaka? b) What are the similarities and differences between zakat and dana in the Qur'an and Tripitaka? c) How does the comparison of Zakat and Dana in the two books realize interfaith dialogue? The findings in this article show that both the Qur'an and Tripitaka provide guidance related to the concept of giving as a universal value. Both teach the importance of sharing as a form of goodness that supports the welfare of individuals and society. The differences between zakat and dana lie in their nature, implementation, and religious dimensions that can complement each other. This study shows that zakat and dana can be platforms for dialogue between religious communities. The diversity in these two religious traditions can strengthen tolerance and harmony.

Abstract

  This article aims to make a significant contribution to the understanding of artificial intelligence (AI) in the context of morphology and the philosophy of science, while emphasizing the importance of interdisciplinary and innovative approaches in future research. The study discusses the integration of deep learning-based AI in morphological studies from a philosophical perspective. The authors present an innovative approach that connects modern AI technology with philosophical paradigms to enhance the understanding of morphology. Through literature analysis and case studies on Arabic quotes, the authors demonstrate that deep learning AI models can significantly improve the accuracy and efficiency of morphological analysis. The philosophical approach developed in this article provides an epistemological context for AI analysis results, highlighting its ontological aspects. The implications of this research include the potential for collaboration among different disciplines and recommendations for future research on the integration of AI and the philosophy of science.
