Abstract

Improving the quality of human resources is Indonesia's main goal to achieve Golden Generation status by 2045. This research analyzes different lunch program models that have been successfully implemented in countries such as Finland, Japan, Brazil, and India. The analysis shows that the success of these programs does not only depend on nutritional aspects; integrated nutrition education, parental participation, and support from the government and community are also important. In schools, nutritious food is very important for the health and cognitive development of students as well as for improving their academic performance. This research found challenges and opportunities for Indonesia in implementing similar programs. This research uses a qualitative approach. The recommendations made include enhancing educator training, implementing policies that support the provision of healthy food in schools, and raising public awareness about the importance of good nutrition for children. By taking valuable lessons from other countries, it is hoped that Indonesia can develop an efficient and sustainable lunch program. This will improve students' health and help build a competitive generation to achieve the Golden Generation 2045.

Abstract

On The Job Training (OJT) which is carried out at the airport is a work training program designed to provide practical experience to cadets in applying the theories they have learned during their education at the Medan Aviation Polytechnic. Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II Airport Palembang has various electrical load needs that vary in each of its buildings, including terminals and several office units. The main source of electricity for this airport comes from PLN, solar panels (solar cells), and diesel generators as emergency power sources. After carrying out On The Job Training (OJT) activities at Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II Airport Palembang, I draw the following conclusions about the implementation of OJT: Keep equipment in optimal condition with maintenance and repairs carried out daily, weekly, monthly, and annually in the electrical unit according to the predetermined schedule. During the implementation of On The Job Training, cadets can find out about activities and problems that occur at Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II Airport Palembang. Gaining experience, learning, kinship and responsibility during OJT activities leaves a good impression on cadets Cadets can apply the theory they get during their education and then compare it with conditions in the field. In doing work or repairs, they do not do it alone because technicians are a team that helps each other.

Abstract

Improving the quality of education is essential to shaping Indonesia's Golden Generation 2045, characterized by excellence, innovation, and global competitiveness. This study focuses on implementing Project-Based Learning (PBL) integrated with Computational Thinking (CT) in private high schools in East Jakarta as a strategic approach to bridge the gaps in access and education quality. The approach emphasizes not only theoretical aspects but also contextual project-based learning that fosters 21st-century skills development.The key issues addressed include disparities in educational access and quality across various schools at both national and local levels, as identified through global indicators. These challenges highlight the need for educational interventions that enhance student competitiveness by applying adaptive and innovative curricula. Computational Thinking is employed to train students in systematic thinking, problem-solving for complex challenges, and innovation through technological applications.This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of Project-Based Learning combined with Computational Thinking in improving student outcomes, creativity, and adaptive skills. The findings are expected to provide strategic recommendations for developing education policies based on innovation, thereby addressing global educational challenges and enhancing the quality of private schools in Indonesia

Abstract

Digital transformation in education is a key factor in improving the quality of learning and preparing students to face global challenges. The problem in this study is the lack of digital understanding of teachers and students. This study aims to analyze the role of school principals and teachers in the implementation of digital leadership, the implementation of education digitalization, and the results of students' digital mastery in technological development at Cahaya Sakti Jakarta Senior High School. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method. Data was obtained through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation of school principals, teachers, and students. The results of the study show that school principals play the role of transformational leaders who drive the adoption of technology in learning. Teachers play a role as facilitators in building students' digital literacy through the use of various digital learning platforms. The implementation of digitalization of education in schools is carried out through the development of technology-based curriculum, the use of digital-based school administration systems, and the integration of technological devices in teaching and learning activities. The results of students' digital mastery showed a significant increase in critical thinking skills, creativity, and adaptation to technology. However, challenges are still faced in equitable access and understanding of technology among students and educators. The conclusion of this study confirms that effective digital leadership, adequate infrastructure support, and continuous training for teachers and students are key factors in creating a golden generation 2045 that is ready to compete in the digital era.

Abstract

This study investigates the effects of workload, social support, and role conflict on work stress and its subsequent impact on teacher performance at SMA Santo Yoseph, Cakung. A quantitative approach was adopted, employing a census method involving 24 teachers. Data were analyzed using the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (SEM-PLS) technique through SmartPLS version 4.1.0.9. The outer model analysis confirmed that all constructs met the criteria for convergent validity and internal consistency reliability (CR > 0.7). The inner model evaluation revealed adjusted R² values of 0.812 for work stress and 0.774 for job performance, along with Q² values exceeding 0.5, indicating strong predictive relevance. Hypothesis testing demonstrated that workload (β = 0.392; p < 0.05) and role conflict (β = 0.327; p < 0.05) exert a significant positive influence on work stress, whereas social support has a significant negative effect (β = -0.321; p < 0.05). Furthermore, work stress significantly reduces job performance (β = -0.509; p < 0.05). Both workload and role conflict were found to have direct negative effects on job performance. While social support and work stress were also shown to influence performance positively, the effect of work stress, although significant, was relatively weak. Nevertheless, the analysis of indirect effects indicated that work stress does not mediate the relationships between workload, social support, and role conflict with job performance, as all three indirect paths were statistically insignificant. The findings underscore the importance of managing workload and role conflict, as well as fostering social support within the school environment, to enhance teacher performance. Additionally, moderate levels of work stress (eustress) may serve as a performance enhancer, provided it is managed to avoid escalation into harmful distress..

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk Mengetahui Pengaruh Media Pembelajaran Audio Visual Terhadap Kemampuan Menulis Puisi Siswa Kelas X Smk Negeri 3 Pematangsiantar. Peneliti menggunakan jenis penelitian pre-eksperimental design. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan one-group pretest-posttest design karena memilih satu kelas dari seluruh siswa kelas X SMK Negeri 3 Pematangsiantar. maka dapat diambil kesimpulan sebagai berikut:Kemampuan menulis puisi oleh siswa kelas X SMK Negeri 3 Pematangsiantar sebelum menggunakan media audio visual berada pada kategori cukup, dengan nilai rata-rata 68,68. Setelah penerapan media audio visual, kemampuan menulis puisi siswa meningkat ke kategori baik, dengan nilai rata-rata 79,91. Hal ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang jelas dalam kemampuan menulis puisi siswa setelah penggunaan media pembelajaran audio visual.Berdasarkan analisis rubrik penilaian, terdapat peningkatan skor pada semua aspek penilaian sesudah penerapan media audio visual. Data sebelum penerapan menunjukkan jumlah skor keseluruhan 2413 dengan nilai rata-rata 68,68, dengan rincian skor pada aspek amanat sebesar 510 (rata-rata 21,13), tema sebesar 507 (rata-rata 21,01), imaji sebesar 466 (rata-rata 19,31), gaya bahasa sebesar 458 (rata-rata 18,98), dan diksi sebesar 472 (rata-rata 19,56). Setelah penerapan media audio visual, skor meningkat menjadi 2797 dengan nilai rata-rata 79,91, dengan rincian skor pada aspek amanat sebesar 582 (rata-rata 20,80), tema sebesar 581 (rata-rata 20,77), imaji sebesar 543 (rata-rata 19,41), gaya bahasa sebesar 549 (rata-rata 19,62), dan diksi sebesar 542 (rata-rata 19,37). Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa media audio visual membantu siswa memperjelas ide, memperbaiki struktur bahasa, serta meningkatkan kreativitas dalam penggunaan diksi dan gaya bahasa. Diketahui terdapat pengaruh penggunaan media audio visual terhadap kemampuan menulis puisi siswa kelas X SMK Negeri 3 Pematangsiantar. Hal ini terbukti setelah dilakukan uji hipotesis paired sample t-test, di mana diperoleh hasil t_hitung = 9,89 > t_tabel = 1,690 pada taraf signifikansi 5%. Dengan demikian, hipotesis alternatif (Ha) diterima, yang menyatakan bahwa penggunaan media audio visual berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kemampuan menulis puisi siswa.

Abstract

Psychological Well-being merupakan kondisi individu yang tidak terbebani oleh tekanan atau permasalahan mental, yang mencakup perasaankebahagiaan, kepuasan hidup, rasa mencintai diri sendiri, hubungan yang bermakna dengan orang lain, kemampuan untuk mengatasi stres, serta kemampuan untuk tumbuh dan berkembang. beberapa studi menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media sosial yang berlebihan dapat menyebabkan efek negatif salah satunya terhadap tingkat Psychological Well-being akibat dari adanya fear of missing out (FoMO). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) terhadap Psychological Well-being pada remaja pengguna media sosial di Kota Medan. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 175 remaja pengguna media sosial di Kota Medan. Alat pengumpulan data menggunakan skala Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) yang telah dimodifikasi dari skala Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) milik wegman dan skala Psychological Well-being yang telah dimodifikasi dari skala milik Ryff. Skala FoMO memiliki pernyataan sebanyak 17 item dengan koefisien reliabilitas α = 0,877 dan skala Psychological Well-being memiliki 36 item pernyataan dengan koefisien reliabilitas α = 0,911. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji regresi linier sederhana. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh negatif antara Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) terhadap Psychological Well-being pada remaja pengguna media sosial di Kota Medan (p = 0,000 < 0,05). Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) memberikan kontribusi terhadap psychological well being pada pengguna yaitu dengan nilai R2 = 0,284 (p < 0,01). Artinya Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) sebagai variabel prediktor memiliki kontribusi sebesar 28,4% terhadap psychological well being pada remaja pengguna media sosial di Kota Medan.

Abstract

In the era of educational digitalization, teachers' digital competence is very important to improve the quality of learning. This study aims to analyze the influence of digital training, digital literacy, and work environment on teachers' digital competence which has an impact on teacher performance in SMA and SMK Cahaya Sakti, East Jakarta. The research method used was quantitative with a path analysis approach and involved 44 respondents who were teachers at the institution. The results showed that digital training did not have a significant influence on teachers' digital competence, with a T-statistical value of 1.395 and a P-value of 0.082. On the other hand, digital literacy was proven to have a significant influence on digital competence (T-statistic 3.114, P-value 0.001) and the work environment also had a significant effect (T-statistic 1.926, P-value 0.027). Teachers' digital competence has a positive and significant effect on teacher performance (T-statistic 3.264, P-value 0.001). However, digital literacy and the work environment did not show a significant influence on teacher performance. Based on these findings, it is recommended that Cahaya Sakti High School and Vocational School improve digital training programs that are more focused and applicative, as well as integrate digital literacy in the teacher development curriculum. Additionally, it is important to create a work environment that supports educational technology innovation. With these measures, it is hoped that teachers' digital competence can be improved, which in turn will have a positive impact on their performance in the learning process. Further research is also needed to explore other factors that can affect digital competence and teacher performance

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of self-compassion on loneliness in Nias ethnic migrant students at HKBP Nommensen University, Medan. The research was conducted by distributing a scale to Nias ethnic migrant students at HKBP Nommensen University, Medan. Based on research conducted by researchers, namely the influence of self-compassion on loneliness in Nias ethnic migrant students at HKBP Nommensen University, Medan, that: There is a negative influence of self-compassion on loneliness in Nias ethnic migrant students at HKBP Nommensen University. Thus, the higher the self-compassion, the lower the loneliness, conversely the lower the self-compassion, the higher the loneliness in Nias ethnic migrant students at HKBP Nommensen University. In this study, self-compassion contributed 4% to loneliness while the remaining 96%, which means it is influenced by other factors not examined in this study. Based on the loneliness variable score category, the results obtained were 56 subjects (51.8%) who had a moderate level of loneliness. This shows that some Nias ethnic migrant students at HKBP Nommensen University have a moderate level of loneliness. Based on the self-compassion variable score category, 59 subjects (56.4%) were in the moderate category. Therefore, Nias students at HKBP Nommensen University have moderate levels of self-compassion .

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the Influence of Self-Efficacy on Career Decision Making in Final Year Students in Medan City. Based on the results of research on the influence of self-efficacy on career decision making in final year students in Medan City, the following conclusions can be drawn: The results of this study indicate that there is a significant influence between self-efficacy on career decision making in final year students who are working on their thesis in Medan City with a positive correlation, which means that if the better the self-efficacy, the better the career decision making in final year students who are working on their thesis in Medan City. The categorization results show that most final year students in Medan City have self-efficacy and career decision making abilities in the medium to high category. The results of the study show a significant difference between male and female students in terms of self-efficacy and career decision making. Female students tend to have higher self-efficacy, with dominance in the medium and high categories, and show better career decision making abilities than men. This indicates that women are more confident and persistent in planning their academic and professional future. This study shows that self-efficacy has a positive influence on career decision-making, contributing 42.8%, while other factors contribute 57.2%. These results demonstrate the importance of self-efficacy in improving career decision-making.
