Abstract

Madrasah Technonatura is one of the Islamic-based educational institutions that seeks to adopt the historical progress of medieval Islamic civilization, which is the foundation of research at Madrasah Technonatura. The curriculum used in Madrasah TechnoNatura is based on KTSP 2006 content standards coupled with self-developed content standards taken from 21st century skills, which include 4C and 3R. The 4Cs are critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and communication, while the 3Rs are reading, writing, and arithmetic, with the addition of 1C and 1R, namely Concordance Work and Religion. This research uses descriptive research methods, with researchers carrying out interview activities and using general guidelines about the information needed from key informants who provide informative data according to research needs. The life skills curriculum at MA Technonatura in terms of hard skills is based on STEM education, which refers to 21st century skills with a learning process based on First Global Challenge (FGC), Internet of Things (IoT), IOS Game Development, Smart Ecosystem, Arduino Weather Balloon, and Tissue Culture (Orchid), which is able to foster and develop students' life skills. In the category of soft skills, MA TechnoNatura builds and familiarizes the school culture with the implementation of dhuha prayer, tadarrus, learning Islamic religious lessons in the morning, and praying together.

Abstract

Di tengah-tengah pesatnya pertumbuhan perbankan syariah masih ada tantangan yang harus diatasi salah satunya yaitu pemenuhan gap sumber daya insani (SDI), baik secara kuantitas maupun kualitas. Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Islam, Universitas Al-Qolam Malang berusaha untuk berkontribusi dalam pemenuhan sumber daya insani tersebut dengan cara membuka Program Studi Akuntansi Syariah, namun sampai perkuliahan dimulai peminatnya hanya sedikit. Hal tersebut mendorong pihak Universitas membuka program beasiswa NU untuk 10 orang. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk memahami kesadaran mahasiswa memilih Program Studi baru Akuntansi Syariah Universitas Al-Qolam Malang. Metode penelitiannya yaitu kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu kesadaran mahasiswa memilih Prodi Akuntansi Syariah Universitas Al-Qolam Malang dipengaruhi oleh 3 faktor yaitu faktor personal, faktor referensi dan faktor pekerjaaan.

Abstract

The Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach offers an alternative to strengthen Islamic education by utilizing the strengths and assets that already exist within the community. This article discusses the history, definition, main principles, and application of ABCD in Islamic education. Initially, this approach emerged from efforts to address problems in poor communities in the United States. ABCD focuses on the strengths and potential of the community, not its shortcomings. This approach emphasizes the utilization of individual assets, associations, institutions, physical assets, and connections to achieve common goals. The main principles of ABCD are based on hidden talents, building networks, residents as main actors, inclusive leadership, and so on. The ABCD approach consists of five stages: asset mapping, building relationships, mobilizing community members, forming core groups, and utilizing external resources. In the development of Islamic education, ABCD can be applied to establish Islamic educational institutions, strengthen the role of madrasahs/Islamic schools, develop Islamic education curricula, and improve teacher quality.

Abstract

Sudah umum diketahui bahwa bahasa Inggris merupakan bahasa yang sering digunakan dalam kancah internasional. Upaya pemerolehan dan pembelajaran bahasa Inggris sebagai bahasa kedua perlu dilakukan secara terencana dan sistematis guna mencapai target yang diinginkan. Pembelajaran dan pemerolehan bahasa Inggris kebanyakan dilakukan pada bidang formal seperti di sekolah-sekolah. Bahasa Inggris menjadi mata pelajaran wajib bagi siswanya. Terdapat dua faktor yaitu faktor internal dan eksternal yang mempengaruhi proses belajar bahasa. Faktor internal biasanya terdapat dalam diri pribadi setiap pembelajar. Sedangkan faktor eksternal berkaitan dengan faktor lingkungan. Penelitian ini akan membahasa faktor internal berupa tipe kepribadian ekstrovert dan introvert, serta pengaruh motivasi dalam pemerolehan bahasa Inggris sebagai bahasa kedua. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode dekriptif kualitatif dengan model analisis kategoris deskriptif. Objek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa/siswi kelas IX MTS Lukmanul Hakim Muara Kaman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan proses pemerolehan bahasa kedua pada siswa berkepribadian ekstrovert dan introvert. Siswa ekstrovert dominan menguasai aspek reading dan speaking. Sedangkan siswa introvert cenderung dominan pada aspek vocabulary dan writing. Motivasi berupa adanya keinginan melanjutkan studi ke jenjang yang lebih tinggi turut menjadi faktor keberhasilan pemerolehan bahasa Inggris sebagai bahasa kedua. Abstract

Kecenderungan orang tua saat ini semakin mengarah pada pemilihan sekolah yang menyelenggarakan proporsi keislaman yang lebih besar dibandingkan instansi sekolah umum. Sekolah Islam Terpadu (SIT) merupakan pilihan karena kurikulum khas yang menekankan terhadap aspek akademik serta memperkuat karakter religius siswa melalui kegiatan pembiasaan diri. Salah satu contoh dari penerapan kurikulum ini dapat dilihat di SMPIT Al-Uswah Bangil, yang menggunakan kurikulum gabungan antara kurikulum nasional dan kurikulum khas JSIT. Studi ini memanfaatkan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, yang mengadopsi metode studi lapangan (field research). Maksud dari studi ini yaitu dalam mengembangkan kurikulum Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) dengan memisahkan mata pelajaran relevan terhadap rumpun PAI, yang mencakup sedikitnya empat subjek dalam ruang lingkup kurikulum PAI JSIT, yaitu 1) PAI, 2) Alquran, 3) Bahasa Arab, 4) BPI. Dan dalam pengimplementasian mata pelajaran PAI dapat dilakukan melalui kegiatan intrakurikuler, ekstrakurikuler, dan budaya sekolah.

Abstract

Student’s interest to study further in university with accounting major commonly influenced by many factors, including externals and internals. This research’s objective is to analyze the influence of parents’ perceptive thoughts and their parenting style towards the students’ interest in accounting major. This research uses quantitative approaches and the population subjects are students in Gondanglegi and Pagelaran. Sampling techniques uses in this study is purposive sampling by questionnaire techniques in data collection. Data is analyzed using dobled-linear regression to get the relation between independent and dependent variables. Results of this study shows that student’s perceptions of accounting major positively and significantly influence their interest to study further for linear major. Besides that, parenting style negatively influences to student’s interest. This study implies that to increase student’s interest in accounting major or department, educational institutions should focus on quality development and teaching methods.

Abstract

This study examines the use of language in beauty product advertisements on TikTok, specifically focusing on the Skintific brand. The research aims to analyze how the language in these advertisements affects the audience's reception of the message. Utilizing a pragmatic approach, the study investigates the persuasive language techniques employed in TikTok advertisements, such as the use of imperative sentences, persuasive claims, and product comparisons. Through a qualitative analysis of selected Skintific ads, this research identifies key linguistic strategies that enhance product appeal and motivate audience behavior, particularly in relation to purchase decisions. The findings reveal that the use of persuasive language, such as terms highlighting product effectiveness and safety, along with calls to action like "buy now" and "click the link in bio," plays a significant role in influencing consumer perceptions and encouraging immediate purchases. The study suggests that advertisers can further optimize their use of persuasive language to strengthen consumer trust and drive engagement on social media platforms like TikTok.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the cultural values embedded in the Ogoh-Ogoh parade tradition in Malang City and examine its implications for cultural integration in Indonesian language learning. Originally part of the Balinese Nyepi celebration, the Ogoh-Ogoh tradition has evolved and been adopted in various regions, including Malang, with its own unique local adaptations. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation involving cultural practitioners, educators, and local communities. The findings reveal that the Ogoh-Ogoh parade encompasses values of aesthetics, tolerance, creativity, and communal spirit, which can be meaningfully integrated into Indonesian language teaching, particularly in reinforcing cultural awareness and local wisdom. This integration enriches language learning by extending beyond linguistic competence to include character development and intercultural understanding. Therefore, local traditions such as Ogoh-Ogoh can serve as contextual, relevant, and inclusive learning resources in national education.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of the use of intimidation language on children on the social media platform Instagram. Social media, particularly Instagram, has become one of the most popular platforms among teenagers and children. In the interactions that occur on this platform, the use of intimidation language often emerges, whether in the form of comments, direct messages, or posts. The intimidation language used can have negative effects on the psychological and emotional development of children. This study employs a quantitative approach with survey and interview methods to collect data from children who actively use Instagram. The results of the study indicate that the use of intimidation language has a significant impact on the psychological condition of children, reflected in increased anxiety, depression, and decreased self-esteem. Therefore, it is important for parents, educators, and social media platform administrators to raise awareness about the dangers of intimidation language and develop mechanisms to minimize its impact on children.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis wacana dalam dokumen Kurikulum Merdeka menggunakan pendekatan Analisis Wacana Kritis (AWK) model Teun A. van Dijk. Kurikulum Merdeka yang diperkenalkan pada 2022 diklaim memberikan fleksibilitas dan otonomi kepada sekolah, namun perlu ditelaah secara kritis untuk mengidentifikasi bagaimana kekuasaan negara terstruktur dalam kebijakan pendidikan ini. Melalui analisis makrostruktur, superstruktur, dan mikrostruktur, penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa negara berperan sebagai agen dominan dalam transformasi pendidikan nasional, dengan narasi yang memperkuat kontrol negara atas pendidikan. Meskipun istilah "merdeka belajar" digunakan, kebijakan ini tetap mencerminkan kontrol yang ketat dan sentralistik. Secara ideologis, kurikulum ini membentuk identitas pelajar sesuai dengan visi negara, yang lebih bersifat konstruk ideologis daripada hasil negosiasi sosial. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa Kurikulum Merdeka bukan hanya berfungsi sebagai panduan pendidikan, tetapi juga sebagai alat ideologis untuk mereproduksi kekuasaan negara dalam bentuk yang tampak netral.
