Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas penerapan metode public speaking dalam pembelajaran materi teks pidato pada siswa kelas VIII SMP Nurul Huda Kota Bengkulu. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara siswa serta membentuk rasa percaya diri dalam menyampaikan pidato di depan umum. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi proses pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode public speaking memberikan pengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan keterampilan komunikasi siswa. Siswa menjadi lebih antusias, percaya diri, dan mampu menyampaikan isi pidato dengan struktur yang jelas dan bahasa yang efektif. Metode ini terbukti dapat menciptakan suasana belajar yang aktif, partisipatif, dan menyenangkan dalam pembelajaran teks pidato.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji implementasi pendidikan karakter melalui kegiatan Pondok Ramadhan di SMPN 2 Doko Blitar dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dengan guru dan siswa, observasi partisipan, serta analisis dokumen terkait. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program Pondok Ramadhan yang berlangsung selama tiga hari untuk setiap tingkat kelas berhasil mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai Islam ke dalam pembentukan karakter siswa. Kegiatan utama meliputi pembiasaan ibadah (shalat berjamaah, tadarus Al-Quran), kajian keagamaan (tauhid, fikih kewanitaan), dan aktivitas pengembangan diri (renungan malam, penulisan surat untuk orang tua). Program ini berhasil menumbuhkan karakter disiplin, tanggung jawab, kejujuran, dan kepedulian sosial pada siswa. Namun, implementasinya menghadapi tantangan berupa keterbatasan sarana prasarana, kurangnya konsistensi siswa, dan dukungan keluarga yang belum optimal. Temuan penelitian ini memperkuat bukti empiris tentang efektivitas pendekatan pendidikan karakter berbasis kegiatan keagamaan di lingkungan sekolah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji relasi manusia dan alam dalam perspektif ekologi budaya melalui analisis terhadap enam karya sastra Indonesia, baik dalam bentuk cerpen, novel, maupun puisi. Pendekatan ekologi budaya yang dikembangkan oleh Julian H. Steward menjadi kerangka teoretis untuk menelaah bagaimana budaya, sistem kepercayaan, teknologi, dan kekuasaan membentuk hubungan manusia dengan lingkungannya. Setiap karya menunjukkan wajah relasi yang berbeda: dari harmoni spiritual masyarakat tradisional, eksploitasi kapitalistik oleh kekuasaan, hingga praktik kultural yang menjaga kelestarian alam. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode SLR (Systematic Literature Review). Hasil kajian ini menunjukkan bahwa karya sastra dapat menjadi medium reflektif dan kritis terhadap transformasi relasi ekologis manusia, serta berperan penting dalam membangun kesadaran ekologi berbasis budaya lokal.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi penggunaan teknologi dalam pembelajaran sastra untuk meningkatkan kemampuan analisis literatur digital. Fokusnya adalah membandingkan karakterisasi dan plot dalam Hikayat Si Miskin dan cerpen Tarian Pena. Metode yang digunakan dalam pembelajaran mencakup kuis online, refleksi individu berbasis platform digital, serta model pembelajaran kolaboratif Numbered Heads Together. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas X SMK yang dilibatkan dalam pengerjaan kuis online berbasis platform digital. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan teknologi dapat memperdalam pemahaman siswa terhadap karakterisasi dan alur cerita, serta mendorong partisipasi aktif dan refleksi kritis dalam proses belajar. Penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya integrasi teknologi dalam pembelajaran sastra sebagai bentuk adaptasi terhadap ekosistem pendidikan digital.

Abstract

Progam sekolah penggerak beupaya mewujukan pendidikan holistik yang mencangkup kognitif, karakter an kepribadian sswa. Inisiatif tersebut meiputi implementasi kurikulum berbasis proyek profil pelajar pancasila, pelatihan guru dan kepala sekolah, pendampingan, serta pemanfaatan teknologi. Namun, analisis wacana kritis Norman Fairlcaugh serta konsep hegemoni neoliberalisme. nalisis menunjukkan bahwa bahasa yang digunakan dalam diskursus Sekolah Penggerak (misalnya, penekanan pada "kompetensi" dan "inovasi") secara halus dapat mereplikasi nilai-nilai pasar yang berorientasi hasil, berpotensi mengaburkan tujuan pengembangan karakter yang lebih luas. Selain itu, inisiatif seperti penyediaan platform teknologi dapat memperkuat struktur sosial yang ada jika akses tidak merata, memperlebar kesenjangan digital dan sosial-ekonomi. Terakhir, kontrol kapitalistik dapat termanifestasi melalui pendekatan manajerial dalam pelatihan guru dan kepala sekolah, serta penekanan pada keterampilan yang relevan dengan pasar kerja dalam kurikulum berbasis proyek.

Abstract

The low level of reading literacy among elementary school students in Indonesia remains a fundamental challenge in education, particularly with the implementation of the thematic curriculum that requires the integration of various basic competencies. This study aims to identify the strategic role of teachers, effective implementation strategies, and the challenges encountered in integrating literacy into thematic learning. A qualitative literature review method was employed by analyzing ten relevant national journal articles. The findings indicate that teachers play a pivotal role as facilitators, innovators, and designers of learning experiences. Effective integration strategies include the use of the webbed-type integrated learning model, utilization of creative media, and the implementation of literacy-based projects. However, several challenges were identified, such as limited instructional time, lack of methodological variation, and difficulties in aligning literacy content with thematic materials. It is concluded that the success of literacy integration in thematic learning heavily depends on the active and creative role of teachers, which must be supported by a collaborative and sustainable educational ecosystem.

Abstract

This article examines the intellectual transformation of Islamic education by exploring the legacy of Bayt al-Hikmah during the Abbasid Caliphate and its relevance to the current era of educational digitalization. Employing a qualitative historical-conceptual approach through library research, the study finds that Bayt al-Hikmah served as a pioneering model of Islamic scholarship integrative, multidisciplinary, and open to diverse sources of knowledge across civilizations. Its curriculum emphasized critical thinking, practical scientific engagement, moral development, and intercultural academic dialogue. These foundational values remain deeply relevant in addressing the challenges of 21st century Islamic education. In the digital era, technology can be positioned not merely as a tool but as a medium to revive and modernize the intellectual spirit of classical Islam. By adopting the principles of Bayt al-Hikmah, digital education can promote inclusive knowledge exchange, character formation, and cross-institutional collaboration. Thus, digital transformation in Islamic education should not only aim at technological advancement but also at restoring the rich intellectual tradition that once shaped Islamic civilization.

Abstract

Thematic learning in elementary schools aims to integrate various competencies within a single, meaningful theme that is relevant to students' real-life experiences. However, in practice, this approach often faces challenges due to monotonous delivery methods that fail to engage learners. Interactive digital media serves as an alternative solution, offering more attractive and interactive content that aligns with 21st-century learning styles. This study aims to review scientific literature on the use of interactive digital media in thematic learning at the elementary level. The method used is a literature review of ten journal articles published between 2021 and 2025, sourced from Google Scholar. The results indicate that various forms of digital media—such as interactive PowerPoint, Canva-based animation videos, and multimedia using Flash—can enhance students’ understanding of thematic content and increase their motivation to learn. Nevertheless, challenges such as limited infrastructure, teacher readiness, and unequal access to technology remain obstacles in several schools. Therefore, strengthening teachers’ digital competencies and ensuring equitable technological support are essential for the effective implementation of interactive media in thematic education

Abstract

Educational supervision is a crucial aspect in efforts to improve the quality of learning and teacher professionalism in educational institutions. In practice, supervision is often misunderstood merely as an administrative oversight activity, whereas in essence, it serves a broader function as a process of continuous teacher development and guidance. This study aims to explore the fundamental concepts of educational supervision through a literature review approach. The study focuses on six key areas: the terminology of supervision, the objectives of supervision, the principles of supervision, types of supervision, functions of supervision, and the dimensions of educational supervision. The findings indicate that supervision, when implemented in a planned, participatory, and teacher-centered manner, can significantly enhance the quality of teaching and learning. Effective supervision must be grounded in democratic, objective, and educative principles, while also taking into account technical, administrative, personal, and social dimensions. By understanding these fundamental concepts, supervisors can carry out their roles more professionally, humanely, and with a direct impact on teacher performance and overall educational quality.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the use of interactive media on improving poetry reading skills of class X students. This study is based on the low ability of students to understand the meaning of poetry in depth which is characterized by weak mastery of diction, intonation, and appreciation. This study uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design type Pretest-Posttest Nonequivalent Groups Design. The research sample consisted of two classes, each consisting of 27 students, namely the experimental group using interactive media in the form of poetry musicalization learning videos, and the control group using conventional methods. The research instrument was a multiple-choice test accessed through Google Form. The results of data analysis showed that the average posttest score of students in the experimental group (78.5) was significantly higher than that of the control group (68.4), with a significance value (Sig. 2-tailed) = 0.000 <0.05. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of interactive media has a significant effect on improving students' poetry reading skills.
