Abstract

This study investigates the impact of work involvement, work engagement, and work satisfaction on work-life balance within the accounting profession. Additionally, it proposes strategies to support employees in achieving a healthy balance and identifies key factors contributing to workplace changes that influence work-life balance. The relationships between the independent and dependent variables were analyzed using SPSS, based on a sample of 54 accounting professionals with diverse work experiences. The findings reveal that work involvement and work engagement have a positive effect on work-life balance, whereas work satisfaction does not exhibit a significant impact. Hypothesis testing results confirm that only the first two hypotheses were supported, while the third was rejected. The novelty of this study lies in its focus on work-life balance within the accounting profession, a field characterized by high workloads and stringent accuracy demands.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of Islamic Good Corporate Governance, Islamic Corporate Social Responsibility, Intellectual Capital, and Firm Size on Firm Value. Using a causal quantitative approach, the study analyzed 13 Islamic banking companies registered with the Indonesian Financial Services Authority (OJK) from 2019 to 2023. A purposive sampling technique resulted in a sample of 45 companies. Hypothesis testing was conducted using multiple linear regression and moderated regression analysis (MRA). The findings show that all independent variables influence Firm Value. Additionally, ROA moderates the relationship between Islamic Good Corporate Governance, Islamic Corporate Social Responsibility, and Firm Size with Firm Value but does not moderate the relationship between Intellectual Capital and Firm Value.

Abstract

This study investigates bureaucratic issues within poverty alleviation programs in Batumerah Village, Ambon City, using a qualitative phenomenological approach. The findings reveal that corruption, nepotism, and ineffective policy implementation severely undermine the success of these programs. Additionally, limited awareness and poor governance further exacerbate these problems. To address these challenges, comprehensive bureaucratic reform is essential, emphasizing transparency, accountability, public participation, and improved data management. Developing evidence-based policies and promoting long-term economic empowerment, including job training and financial support, are crucial for enhancing community well-being and ensuring the sustainability of poverty alleviation efforts.

Abstract

This study assesses the quality of public services at the Benteng Village Office in Nusaniwe District, Ambon City, utilizing the SERVQUAL model across five dimensions: Tangibles, Reliability, Responsiveness, Assurance, and Empathy. While most indicators for Tangibles, Reliability, and Assurance are being met, there are notable gaps in the comfort of physical facilities and the technological proficiency of staff. The Responsiveness dimension aligns with community expectations; however, there are concerns regarding staff friendliness in the Empathy dimension. Key factors affecting service quality include the professionalism of human resources, IT infrastructure, and community oversight. The study recommends enhancing staff skills, upgrading facilities, and promoting a positive service culture to elevate service quality in Benteng Village.

Abstract

This study investigates how information and communication technology (ICT) can enhance health services at the Central Maluku District Health Office. The findings reveal that website and mobile applications, telemedicine, and GIS need infrastructure upgrades, improved technological literacy, enhanced data security, and training for medical staff. Social media is utilized to raise public awareness, while Electronic Medical Records (EMR) streamline administrative efficiency and coordination. However, management systems for clinics and hospitals are still inadequate, leading to long wait times and scheduling problems. On a positive note, digital reporting is advancing, allowing for real-time monitoring and analysis at RSUD Masohi.

Abstract

This study examines how narcisim influences job performance through creativity as a mediator. A survey of 96 lecturers in Indonesian universities used established measures for narcisim, creativity, and job performance. Statistical analyses assessed validity, reliability, and a mediation model to understand the impact of narcisim on performance through creativity. Findings: Narcissistic traits lowered creativity, which reduced job performance. However, fostering creativity can mitigate some of these negative effects, highlighting its importance for improving lecturer performance. Practical Implications: To manage the impact of narcissism on lecturer performance, organizations should focus on fostering creativity through training programs, innovation-supportive policies, and selection and evaluation processes that emphasize creativity. Additionally, psychological support for lecturers with high levels of narcissism can help mitigate negative effects and enhance overall performance. Originality: The study provides new insights for developing strategies that can enhance lecturer performance through the management of narcissistic traits and the promotion of creativity.

Abstract

This study examines the opportunities and challenges encountered by Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in adopting digital technologies within the framework of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Digital platforms present numerous benefits, including enhanced operational efficiency, expanded market reach, and increased potential for innovation. Nevertheless, MSMEs face several obstacles, such as inadequate infrastructure, limited digital skills, financial constraints, and concerns related to cybersecurity. To mitigate these challenges, the study recommends continuous digital training, infrastructure development, improved access to financing, and comprehensive cybersecurity awareness programs. These strategic initiatives are intended to support MSMEs in effectively navigating digital transformation, enhancing their competitiveness, and achieving long-term sustainability in the global digital economy.
