Abstract

Dewatering merupakan proses penting dalam operasi tambang terbuka untuk mengendalikan air yang masuk ke area penambangan, menggunakan dasar dari curah hujan maksimum yang terjadi. Studi kasus dilakukan pada tambang batubara terbuka di wilayah tropis dengan tingkat curah hujan yang tinggi yaitu PT. Borneo Indobara Kabupaten Tanah Bumbu, Kalimantan Selatan. Data curah hujan maksimum diperoleh dari stasiun meteorologi lokal (BMKG) selama periode 10 tahun atau sesuai umur tambang (keputusan Menteri no 1827 tahun 2018) , berdasarkan laporan operasional tambang yaitu 850.30 mm dibulan Juni. Metodologi penelitian mencakup analisis data curah hujan historis untuk mengidentifikasi pola curah hujan ekstrem menggunakan metode statistika seperti distribusi Gumbel dan analisis frekuensi. Selain itu, dilakukan pemodelan hidrologi untuk memperkirakan aliran air yang masuk ke area pit selama kejadian hujan ekstrem. Evaluasi performa pompa dewatering dilakukan melalui simulasi berbasis data lapangan dan uji kinerja pompa di kondisi operasional nyata. Untuk lokasi pengambilan data penelitian ada di pit Girimulya dimana terdapat beberapa sump dengan pompa yang di pakai dengan merk Multiflo 420 dan sekelasnya, debit yang keluar sebesar 350 - 500 m3/jam, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa curah hujan maksimum memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap efektivitas metode dewatering yang digunakan. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa sistem yang dibangun dengan pendekatan ini memiliki kemampuan yang lebih baik untuk mengatasi volume air yang masuk selama periode hujan ekstrem, mengurangi waktu non-produktif, dan meningkatkan keselamatan operasi. Rekomendasi praktis untuk diterapkan di lapangan termasuk peningkatan kapasitas pompa dan optimalisasi jadwal operasional

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi media pembelajaran dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dalam pembelajaran aqidah akhlak di sekolah. Secara khusus, penelitian ini membahas seberapa baik kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa meningkat dengan bantuan media. Latar belakang penelitian ini bermula dari rendahnya motivasi dan kurangnya aktivitas kelas dalam pembelajaran aqidah akhlak, karena pembelajaran selalu menggunakan metode konvensional. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif, melalui observasi dan wawancara di kelas X MA NWDI Putri Narmada. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) media audio-visual yang digunakan dalam pembelajaran aqidah akhlak adalah smart TV dan guru menggunakan video pembelajaran sebagai dasar pembelajaran. (2) Media audio-visual ini memiliki peran yang cukup besar bagi siswa dalam memahami pelajaran, serta menarik. Siswa diminta untuk berpikir kritis dalam menyimpulkan isi pelajaran dari apa yang telah mereka amati.

Abstract

This study aims to improve students’ learning motivation through the implementation of the Quiz Team method in a sixth-grade class at SDN 31 Mataram. The research employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach conducted in two cycles following the Kemmis & McTaggart model, which includes planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data were collected through observations, motivation tests, and documentation. The results indicate that the Quiz Team method significantly increased students’ learning motivation. The average motivation score improved from 59.05 in the pre-test to 77.70 in the post-test, and the percentage of students who achieved learning completion from 0% to 60%. In addition to score improvements, students displayed more active participation in discussions, better focus, and higher enthusiasm during learning activities. Therefore, the Quiz Team method is effective as an alternative instructional strategy to enhance students’ learning motivation.

Abstract

Elementary school students’ mathematical ability remains relatively low, particularly in understanding basic arithmetic operations such as addition. Many fourth-grade students experience difficulties in solving addition problems because the material is presented abstractly and is not adequately supported by the use of concrete media that can help them visualize the calculation process. This condition results in low learning outcomes, a lack of student confidence in solving mathematics problems, and minimal active participation in learning. Therefore, learning innovations are needed to provide more concrete, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning experiences for elementary school students. One alternative medium that can be used is the addition board, a manipulative learning medium designed to help students understand the concept of addition through direct counting activities using concrete tools. This study aimed to analyze the effect of using the addition board media on the mathematics learning outcomes of fourth-grade students. The research subjects were 23 fourth-grade students at SDN 18 Cakranegara who participated in learning activities using this media over two cycles of Classroom Action Research (CAR). Each cycle consisted of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. Data were collected through learning outcome tests, student activity observation sheets, and learning documentation. The results showed that the use of the addition board media had a positive impact on improving student learning outcomes. In the pre-cycle, the average student learning outcome was in the fair category, with a mastery percentage of 51%. After the implementation of the addition board media in Cycle I, mastery increased to 70%, and in Cycle II it further increased to 80%. This improvement indicates that the addition board media helps students understand the addition process concretely, creates interactive learning experiences, and enhances students’ motivation and confidence in solving problems. The addition board media also provides varied activities that make learning more engaging, helps students easily understand the steps of addition, enables them to visualize their thinking processes, and encourages more active participation in counting activities. Additionally, this media assists teachers in delivering material and conducting gradual evaluations. Based on the research findings, it can be concluded that the use of the addition board media has a significant effect on improving the mathematics learning outcomes of fourth-grade students and is appropriate for use as an alternative medium in teaching arithmetic operations in elementary schools.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan Model Pembelajaran MARD (Meaningful, Active, Reflective, Discovery) sebagai solusi terhadap rendahnya kemampuan analisis siswa dalam praktikum biologi yang masih berorientasi pada hasil akhir. Pendekatan penelitian menggunakan kajian literatur (literature review) untuk merumuskan kerangka konseptual model pembelajaran berbasis teori dan hasil penelitian empiris sebelumnya. Teknik analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif-analitis melalui proses identifikasi konsep kunci, sintesis hasil penelitian terdahulu, serta integrasi teori dan praktik pembelajaran biologi. Analisis dilakukan terhadap literatur terbitan 2018-2025 yang relevan dengan pembelajaran aktif, reflektif, berbasis inkuiri, dan pengembangan Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS). Hasil penelitian menghasilkan desain konseptual Model MARD dengan empat tahapan utama, yaitu Meaningful, Active, Reflective, dan Discovery. Tahap Meaningful menumbuhkan kesadaran siswa terhadap tujuan dan relevansi praktikum. Tahap Active menekankan keterlibatan langsung dalam kegiatan ilmiah. Tahap Reflective mendorong evaluasi hasil eksperimen dan pengaitan teori dengan data empiris. Tahap Discovery menuntun siswa mengkomunikasikan hasil temuan secara ilmiah. Model MARD berpotensi meningkatkan kemampuan analisis, berpikir kritis, dan komunikasi ilmiah siswa melalui integrasi aspek keterampilan, sikap, dan pengetahuan secara simultan. Kajian ini menyimpulkan bahwa Model MARD dapat menjadi kerangka konseptual inovatif yang relevan dengan prinsip Kurikulum Merdeka dan layak diuji secara empiris untuk memperkuat kualitas pembelajaran biologi berbasis praktikum.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to compile a systematic literature review to evaluate the effectiveness of the discovery learning model in improving critical thinking skills and science process skills among high school students. The importance of improving 21st-century skills, such as critical thinking skills (KBKr) and science process skills (KPS), is a major focus in education today. The Discovery Learning (DL) model is highly relevant because it places students at the center of learning, encouraging them to actively seek, analyze, and conclude their own findings. The method used was a systematic review of 50 scientific articles. These articles were searched for in the Publish or Perish and Spiece databases, with publication years limited to 2022 to 2025. The subjects of the study were research documents discussing the implementation of DL and the results of measuring its impact on high school students' critical thinking and science process skills. The results of the review concluded that the application of the discovery learning model has been proven to significantly improve high school students' critical thinking skills. In addition, the effectiveness of this model is optimized when combined with interactive teaching media, such as picture storybooks

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh profesionalisme guru terhadap pemanfaatan media teknologi LCD proyektor dan Google Form. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain Quasi eksperimen model non- equivalent postest-only control grup desain, yang melibatkan dua kelompok, kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen. Masing-masing kelas terdiri dari 25 orang yang dipilih secara porposive berdasarkan kemampuan awal masing-masing siswa di kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen relatif sama. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa kuesioner yang dibagikan kepada kedua kelompok tersebut. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji Independen Samples T-Test untuk menguji perbedaan antara kelompok kontrol yang memanfaatkan media LCD proyektor dalam proses pembelajaran dan menggunakan Google Form dalam penilaian oleh guru profesional dengan kelompok eksperimen yang tidak menggunakan ke-dua media tersebut. Hasil analisis menunjukkan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0.001< 0.005. Terdapat pengaruh signifikan profesionalisme guru SKI terhadap kemampuan pemanfaatan LCD dan Google Form. Hal ini juga dibuktikan dengan meningkatnya pemahaman siswa dan partisipasi siswa menjadi lebih aktif dengan menggunakan LCD dan terbukti lebih efektif dan efisien dalam proses penilaian menggunakan Google Form pada kelas kontrol dibanding kelas eksperimen. Dengan demikian, frekuensi dan kemampuan guru profesional dalam memanfaatkan media teknologi merupakan indikator penting dan menjadi faktor kunci dalam meningkatkan kualitas proses dan hasil pembelajaran di era digital. Penelitian ini juga menemukan bahwa pemanfaatan media teknologi dapat memperkaya media pembelajaran, meningkatkan aktivitas siswa dan memfasilitasi penilaian yang lebih efektif dan efisien.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the implementation of 21st-century skills-based learning (the 4Cs: critical thinking and problem solving, collaboration, communication, and creativity) in an effort to enhance students’ learning motivation. Using a qualitative approach with the library research method, this study reviews various recent scientific journal articles to examine the concept of 21st-century learning, learning motivation (intrinsic and extrinsic), and the relationship between the two. The results of the analysis show that 21st-century learning oriented toward a scientific approach, the utilization of information and communication technology (ICT), and differentiated learning strategies has proven effective in increasing students’ learning motivation. These approaches create a more active, relevant, and individualized learning environment, thereby generating higher engagement, a sense of ownership over the learning process, and sustained intrinsic drive. The implementation of the 4C skills also supports the transformation of students’ roles from passive objects to active subjects of learning, which ultimately has a positive impact on academic achievement and readiness to face the global challenges of the 21st century.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the Analysis of CP TP and ATP of Islamic Education Teachers in Cluster V, Praya Tengah District. This study uses a qualitative phenomenological approach to build meaning based on field data. Data collection techniques use interviews, observations and documentation, while data analysis uses the flow model from Milles and Hubermant. The results of this study indicate that the way Islamic Education Teachers analyze CP, TP and ATP in Cluster V, Praya Tengah District is carried out with the following steps: Analyzing Learning Achievements (CP), Formulating Learning Objectives (TP), then Compiling Learning Objective Flow (ATP) so that from ATP learning steps will be compiled in the form of teaching modules/RPP

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the development of Project-Based Learning (PjBL)-based Student Worksheets (LKPD) as a strategy to improve students' conceptual understanding and learning motivation. The analysis was conducted through a literature review of 50 journals selected from a total of 200 reviewed journals taken from Publish or Perish and the Spiece database. The results of the study show that the PjBL model is able to strengthen students' conceptual understanding because they are directly involved in implementing authentic projects, working collaboratively, and trying to find solutions independently. In addition, various studies also show that PjBL contributes to increasing learning motivation, which is reflected in increased interest, enthusiasm, and student activity during the project completion process. The findings from the reviewed literature include the implementation of PjBL in science, mathematics, biology, and chemistry learning. Overall, this study confirms that PjBL-based LKPD is a tool with great potential in helping students understand the material while motivating them to learn actively. Therefore, the development of PjBL-based LKPD is recommended for implementation in current learning.
