Abstract

This study aims to improve the IPAS learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 44 Ampenan through the implementation of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model. The research employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) design conducted in two cycles. The participants consisted of 18 fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 44 Ampenan. The independent variable was the Problem-Based Learning model, while the dependent variable was students’ IPAS learning outcomes. Data were collected using test techniques, and data analysis was carried out using descriptive comparative analysis in the form of percentages of IPAS learning outcomes across the pre-cycle, Cycle I, and Cycle II stages. The results indicate that learning through the Problem-Based Learning model supported by interactive quizzes effectively improved students’ learning outcomes in the IPAS subject. Prior to the intervention, only 8 students (45%) achieved mastery in the pre-cycle. This number increased to 9 students (50%) in Cycle I and further rose to 15 students (84%) in Cycle II. The study concludes that the implementation was successful, as it met the performance indicator, with 84% of students achieving the minimum mastery criterion (KKM) of 70.

Abstract

The borehole in Setanggor Village is a project from the village government to meet the water needs used by the community for daily needs such as bathing, cooking, washing and others. However, the community does not know whether the quality of the water from the drilled well has met the quality standards or not.This study aims to determine the quality of borewell water using the Storet Method. Sample collection was carried out as many as 12 samples at 4 points where residents' wells were located, where the parameters measured were odor, taste, pH, detergent as well as E-Coli and Total Coliform. The results of the studsy showed that the physical parameters and pH were in accordance with or met the quality standards. As for the chemical parameters and microbiology, the results showed quite high results or exceeded the quality standard of 0.13 Mg/L for detergent at point 4 and 6,500 CFU/100 ml for microbiology at points 3 and 4. The water quality score results on the Storet Method show a number up to -40 and are categorized as class D with Poor condition or can be referred to as severely Polluted.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the efforts made by teachers to improve students’ reading interest at SDN 4 Kopang. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach. The subjects of the study were upper-grade teachers at SDN 4 Kopang. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis techniques included data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Data validity was ensured through source triangulation. The results of the study indicate that the efforts made by teachers at SDN 4 Kopang to improve students’ reading interest include preparing reading corners, implementing a 15-minute reading program before lessons begin, providing reading materials, giving motivation, and offering rewards. The factors influencing students’ reading interest at SDN 4 Kopang are divided into internal and external factors. Internal factors include students’ limited reading ability and the lack of reading habits, while external factors consist of environmental factors and school-related factors.

Abstract

  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh edukasi bullying terhadap motivasi belajar dan mental siswa sekolah dasar di UPT SPF SD Inpres Perumnas Antang III. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian ex post facto dengan menggunakan  pendekatan kuantitatif. Penelitian ini bertempat di UPT SPF SD Inpres Perumnas Antang III. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah semua siswa kelas III/C yang terdiri dari 31 siswa, adapun teknik Simpel Random Sampling dengan analisis data menggunakan SPSS 26. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa edukasi bullying berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa dan mental siswa sekolah dasar di UPT SPF SD Inpres Perumnas Antang III. Hasil analisis deskriptif edukasi bullying berada di 9,00 atau dalam kategori baik sedangkan motivasi belajar berada di 8,00 atau dalam kategori cukup baik  dan mental siswa berada di 9,00 atau dalam kategori baik. Hasil pengaruh edukasi bullying terhadap motivasi belajar dan mental siswa sekolah dasar di UPT SPF SD Inpres Perumnas Antang III dengan nilai sig 4,906 > 0,05 maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengaruh edukasi bullying berpengaruh terhadap motivasi belajar dan mental siswa sekolah dasar di UPT SPF SD Inpres Perumnas Antang III.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana dampak bullying bagi peserta didik dan bagaimana peran serta strategi guru dalam mencegah bullying.Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Sumber data dari penelitian yaitu kepala sekolah, guru kelas II, guru kelas III, peserta didik,dan orang tua. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini yaitu observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi. Uji keabsahan data menggunakan teriangulasi atau pengecekan data dari berbagai sumber. Analisis data menggunakan model Miles and Huberman yaitu pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa bullying yang terjadi di sekolah meliputi bentuk bullying: mengejek, mendorong, mengancam dan memukul. Dampak yang ditimbulkan antara lain, penurunan semangat belajar, rasa tidak nyaman di lingkungan sekolah dan perubahan perilaku sosial peserta didik. Dalam upaya pencegahan guru berperan sebagai pembina, pengawas, arahan dan teladan. Strategi yang diterapkan meliputi penanaman nilai-nilai karakter, membangun kedekatan, pemberlakuan aturan dan memberikan perhatian serta kerjasama dengan orang tua.

Abstract

Landslides are a significant hydrometeorological threat in Indonesia, particularly in the West Sumatra Province. This research aims to map landslide hazard zones in the Sawahlunto and Tanah Datar regions by integrating the Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Process (FAHP) and Geographic Information System (GIS) methods. The FAHP method was utilized to determine the relative weights of four main landslide-inducing parameters: slope, rainfall, land cover, and soil type. Spatial data for each parameter were then analyzed using a weighted overlay technique within the GIS platform to produce a landslide susceptibility map. The FAHP analysis results indicate that slope and rainfall have the most significant influence with weights of 29.86% each, followed by land cover at 29.76%, and soil type at 10.52%, with a consistency ratio (CR) of 0.0006975 signifying a consistent assessment. Based on the spatial analysis, the study area is classified into three susceptibility zones: low, medium, and high. The high-susceptibility zones are generally found in areas with slope gradients >40%, and land cover dominated by rice fields, agricultural fields, plantations, and settlements, despite being characterized by sedimentary soil types and moderate rainfall categories. Conversely, low-susceptibility zones are characterized by gentle slopes (0-2%) and swamp land cover. The findings of this study are expected to provide a scientific basis for local governments in formulating effective disaster mitigation strategies and spatial planning to reduce future risks.

Abstract

This study aims to examine various teaching strategies used by teachers to enhance reading interest among elementary school students through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. The data were obtained from relevant national and international publications published between 2015 and 2024. The review identified six main categories of effective strategies: (1) storytelling and read-aloud activities, (2) reading corners and literacy-rich classroom environments, (3) the use of digital, visual, and interactive media, (4) collaborative or group-based reading activities, (5) reward systems and positive reinforcement, and (6) parental involvement and home-based support. The findings indicate that increasing students’ reading interest cannot be achieved through a single approach, but rather through a combination of strategies tailored to learners’ needs and school contexts. This review is expected to serve as a reference for teachers, schools, and policymakers in designing literacy learning that is more creative, adaptive, and effective.

Abstract

This study aims to review the effectiveness of deep learning in enhancing students’ critical reasoning skills through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. Data were collected from Google Scholar, DOAJ, and Scopus databases covering publications from 2015 to 2025, using the keywords “deep learning,” “critical reasoning,” and “higher-order thinking.” A total of 20 selected articles were analyzed based on relevance, research design, and findings. The results indicate that deep learning effectively enhances students’ abilities to analyze, evaluate, and reflect by engaging them in meaningful and contextual learning processes. The most effective models include Problem-Based Learning (PBL), Project-Based Learning (PJBL), and Case-Based Learning, which foster collaboration and higher-order thinking. The success of deep learning implementation is also determined by the teacher’s role as a facilitator who cultivates a reflective and critical classroom culture. Therefore, integrating deep learning into instructional design is recommended as an innovative strategy to strengthen students’ critical reasoning and prepare them for 21st-century education challenges.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze various research findings on the effectiveness of storytelling activities in improving reading interest among elementary school students. The research employs a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach by examining scholarly articles published between 2015 and 2025 sourced from Google Scholar, DOAJ, and Scopus. A total of 75 studies were reviewed, and 24 met the inclusion criteria based on topic relevance, research design, and discussion focus. The findings reveal that storytelling significantly enhances children’s reading interest through affective (emotional and motivational), cognitive (story comprehension and vocabulary), and social (interaction and empathy) dimensions. Storytelling not only serves as entertainment but also as a contextual literacy medium that fosters joy and engagement in reading from an early age. Furthermore, the emergence of digital storytelling platforms has expanded children’s access to engaging reading materials, thereby increasing their motivation to read. The study concludes that both traditional and digital storytelling practices play a vital role in cultivating a sustainable reading culture among Indonesian children.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak perilaku bullying terhadap pembentukan karakter tanggung jawab sosial siswa melalui pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial (IPAS) di kelas V SDN 3 Pengadangan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas guru kelas, guru mata pelajaran IPAS, siswa kelas V, serta orang tua siswa di SDN 3 Pengadangan. Sumber data yang digunakan mencakup data primer dan sekunder yang dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Instrumen penelitian berupa pedoman observasi, panduan wawancara, serta lembar dokumentasi. Data dianalisis menggunakan model analisis interaktif Miles dan Huberman yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, serta penarikan kesimpulan dan verifikasi. Keabsahan data diperoleh melalui triangulasi sumber, teknik, dan waktu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perilaku bullying di kelas V SDN 3 Pengadangan terjadi dalam bentuk verbal, fisik, dan sosial, dengan bentuk verbal dan sosial paling dominan. Bullying berdampak negatif terhadap pembentukan karakter tanggung jawab sosial siswa karena menyebabkan korban menjadi minder, menarik diri, dan kurang berpartisipasi dalam kegiatan kelompok. Pembelajaran IPAS berperan penting dalam membentuk karakter sosial siswa melalui kegiatan kolaboratif dan diskusi kelompok, namun efektivitasnya masih terbatas karena fokus guru cenderung pada aspek kognitif. Selain itu, dukungan orang tua turut memengaruhi perilaku sosial anak. Oleh karena itu, disarankan agar guru mengoptimalkan pembelajaran IPAS sebagai media pembentukan karakter sosial dan sekolah memperkuat kerja sama dengan orang tua untuk menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang aman, inklusif, dan bebas bullying.
