Abstract

Nahwu science now contains philosophy so it is difficult to learn. In addition, the science of nahwu compiled by classical scholars reduces it to one qorinah or guidance, namely I'rob. In fact, most words in Arabic end with the letter 'Ilat which cannot be identified with I'rob. The aims of this research are twofold, namely (1) to explain the new theory in nahwu science which was carried out by Tammam Hassan. (2) explain its effect on nahwu learning materials for non-Arabic speakers. This research is the qualitative research, the type of research is library research. The result of this research is to offer Tammam Hassan's renewal of nahwu (tajdid al-nahwi), namely Qarain al-Lafdziyah. Its influence makes al-kalimat divided into seven, including: al-ism, al-washfi, al-fi'li, al-dhomir, al-dzorof, al-kholifat, and al-'adat. The era is divided into two, namely the al-Nahwi era and the al-Shorfi era. With these qarain (instructions), it greatly influences the broader and more understanding nahwu learning material . Therefore, it is very necessary for researchers, educators, and students to explore the renewal of nahwu knowledge in depth.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the management of planning and organizing Arabic language learning at Amal Jama'i Islamic Boarding Schools, as well as to determine the supporting and inhibiting factors in learning Arabic. The research method used in this study is a descriptive qualitative method. Data collection techniques were carried out by interviews and observations with descriptive data analysis techniques in accordance with Miles and Huberman's theory. The results of this study show that: 1) The planning management in learning Arabic is carried out by establishing Arabic learning programs, preparing learning materials, and determining relevant learning media, 2) The organizing management in learning Arabic begins with the division of teaching tasks, then the preparation of lesson schedules, as well as the provision of learning facilities, 3) Several supporting factors for learning Arabic include support from the headmaster of the college, the existence of a language division, and the stipulation of Arabic days of the week, while the inhibiting factors are inadequate time allocation, lack of human resources and environmental influences. The results of this study can be used as a reference for Arabic language activist researchers and academics.

Abstract

This article reveals the challenges of translating the Qisshah Al-Athfal animated video which was uploaded by Zad Al-Horof through his YouTube account as a moral education for children. Translating animated videos that adapt voiceovers is an option in presenting moral education to children because hearing is the first active sense, so it is stronger than reading skills. This article examines the process of translating the animated video Qisshah Al-Athfal uploaded by Zad Al-Horof and refers to the adaptation of dubbing with a cultural approach and sosiolinguistic. There were four translated videos, all of which were chosen because of the precarious and tense situation in the setting of the story. Secondary sources are taken from the literature of books relevant to the translation process, ranging from several Arabic-Indonesian dictionaries to authoritative articles to be associated with this study. From the research results, it was found that in the translation process, politeness in language as Indonesian culture is highlighted, especially in translating my pronouns into "mother", you become "sis" and so on as a form of Indonesian kinship culture. The communicative strategy in the form of removing (Hazf) and adding (Ziyadah) considers lip movements and the duration of the character's articulation. So, the conclusion is the challenge of translating the animated video of Qisshah Al-Athfal is an effort to present an Arabic cultural spectacle for Indonesian children who are able to provide moral education and politeness in children's language

Abstract

One of the most important aspects of language learning is vocabulary. Many students have difficulty mastering it. The researcher wants to reveal how effectively the Bingo game method increasesabic vocabulary mastery. This study uses a quantitative approach, with a pre-experimental design and a one-group pretest-posttest design. The population of this study was 20 grade V students at SDN Guluk-Guluk II Sumenep. The sampling method is the saturated sample method. Researchers collect information through pretest and posttest. For data analysis, the SPSS 22 application was used which included the Kolmogorov-Smirnov normality test. The researcher then used the SPSS 22 application to test the hypothesis with the non-parametric Mann-Whitney test. According to the findings of this study, bingo games can statistically improve vocabulary mastery by 79.6%. The results of the Mann-Whitney hypothesis test show this. The implication of the findings of this study is that bingo games can be used as an effective method for increasing vocabulary mastery in fifth-grade elementary school students. However, because this research was only conducted in class V SD, the results cannot be applied in general to all grade levels. Therefore, further research is needed to find out whether bingo games are also effective for use at other grade levels.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors that cause students not to know the Arabic letters, to know the factors that cause students not to be able to read Arabic with good and correct pronunciation and also to determine whether there is an influence of students' educational background on reading ability (Jahriyyah). This study uses a quantitative approach with survey method. Data was collected using a questionnaire, interviews, and direct tests. The collected data were analyzed using percentage descriptive technique and simple linear regression analysis. The population in this study were students of 7th class at MTs Arrosyid II and 36 people as samples. Based on the results of the questionnaire research data, it was found that differences in students' educational backgrounds showed that the percentage of 72.1% was in the strong category. And from the results of the simple linear regression equation that there is an effect of students' educational background on reading ability, seen from Y = 19.889 + 0.806x and Ftable (0.05) > Fcount (0.008) the researcher can analyze that this equation shows a positive effect of variable X on variable Y and the influence of the remaining 19.1% is influenced by other variables. The factors that cause students not to know Hijaiyah letters are that they have not learned Arabic at their school before. The factors that cause students to be unable to read fluently are that they do not dare to express Arabic, do not trust themselves and are not interested in expressing Arabic

Abstract

Balaghah learning is one of the Arabic language learning families that Arabic learners must understand and learn. The learning process of Balaghah at the An-Najiyah Bahrul Ulum Jombang Islamic Boarding School, which is still monotonous, affects the low thinking ability of students and the results of cognitive abilities. Therefore, to prepare individuals with creative thinking skills in solving problems, efforts are needed to make it happen, one of which is using a synectic learning model. The purpose of this study was to: (1) find out the results of the cognitive abilities of Balaghah learning before the synectic learning model was applied to the students of the An-Najiyah Islamic Boarding School Bahrul Ulum Jombang, (2) find out the results of the cognitive abilities of Balaghah learning after applying the synectic learning model to the students of the An-Najiyah Islamic Boarding School -Najiyah Bahrul Ulum Jombang, (3) knowing the results of evaluating the use of synectic learning models in Balaghah learning on the cognitive abilities of the students of An-Najiyah Bahrul Ulum Jombang Islamic Boarding School. This research is quantitative research with a quasi-experimental approach. The research design used the Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The sampling technique is Probability Sampling and how to determine the sample by random cluster sampling. Data collection techniques using test instruments and documentation. The instrument's validity uses content validity with the results of the data being declared valid—instrument reliability using the alpha cronbach technique. Data analysis used descriptive analysis. The prerequisite test uses the normality test and homogeneity test. Test the hypothesis using the T-test. The results showed that: (1) the pre-test results for the control class obtained an average of 36.4, with the highest score of 60 and the lowest score of 20. Meanwhile, the average pre-test for the experimental class was 36, with the highest score of 60 and the lowest score of 20. (2) ) the average post-test result for the control class was 66.4, with the highest score being 90 and the lowest score being 30. Meanwhile, the average post-test in the experimental class was 79.2, with the highest score being 100 and the lowest being 40. (3) there was an influence of the learning model synectic on the cognitive abilities of Balaghah learning in An-Najiyah Bahrul Ulum Jombang Islamic Boarding School students. Based on the results of the t-test, namely 0.887 < 1.994 or t count < t table on the post-test results of the experimental and control classes. This shows that the synectic learning model affects the cognitive abilities of students.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to provide an overview of the use of Arabic psychological terms originating from Mu'jam mustakhalahats 'ilm nafsi for the development of Indonesian psychological terms through the translation process. In this study, the authors used a descriptive qualitative method by collecting data in the form of psychological vocabulary, recording and collecting psychological vocabulary, analyzing psychological vocabulary, and then finally providing explanations and analysis using Abdul Chaer's morphological theory. The results of the study show that the use of Arabic psychological terms in Mu'jam Mustakhalahats 'Ilm Nafsi has relevance in the context of the development of psychological concepts in Indonesia. By understanding these terms, psychologists in Indonesia can enrich aspects of theoretical and practical understanding, as well as develop an inclusive and comprehensive approach in understanding and explaining psychological, social and cultural phenomena in Indonesian society.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate the modern Arabic language used by Alarabiya online. The focus of this research is on the analysis of the development of meaning and language structure, with the object of research being the online magazine Alarabiya. This study employs lexical, grammatical, and contextual analysis of meaning, as well as syntactic research by analyzing phrases, clauses, and verbs. The theory used in this research is al-Nazhariyyah al-Siyaqiyyah or contextual theory developed by J.R Firth. The research method used is a literature review with two approaches, namely sociolinguistics and lexical statistics. The primary data source in this research is the online magazine Alarabiya. The results of this research indicate that the modern Arabic language used by Alarabiya magazine has undergone many developments in meaning and structure, and has been influenced by the development of science and technology in various fields such as politics, economy, science, and technology.

Abstract

Arabic has grammatical complexity with high sentences, many people who learn Arabic have difficulty understanding more complex Arabic texts, one of which is literary texts. This paper aims to understand the values of character education in muthala'ah textbooks based on Roland Barthes' semiotic approach and find out their implications for maharah qiraah learning. This type of research is a qualitative library (library research) that uses data sources that are relevant to the title. The most important finding in this study is the meaning of the text in the book muthala'ah volume 2 based on Roland's semiotic study which includes the meaning of structural narrative analysis by examining the lexia included in the reading codes; hermeneutic, semimic code, symbolic code, proaretic code, and gnomic code. The codes contain the meaning of morality. Implications of character education values; caring, cooperation, honesty, openness, a sense of responsibility in maharah qiraah learning can help students gain meaningful learning and succeed in acquiring good Arabic reading skills.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the researcher's interest in the widespread phenomenon of using rhetorical language styles, namely the use of words in speaking and writing to convince or influence listeners or readers. This study focuses on the analysis of the style of language used by members of the Arabic debate group. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive-analytic type. The primary data source was taken from the documentation of 22 video debates recorded during the Arabic language debate competition which was participated in by the TMI Al-Amien Prenduan students' debate group both at the national and international levels. Researchers carried out a series of steps in analyzing data starting from reducing data, presenting data, and realizing data. The results of this study indicate that; 1) There are 26 language styles with 369 variations used by the debate groups; 2) Each style of language and its variations have their own purpose. The results of this study can be the main reference for researchers in the field of Arabic.
