Abstract

This study intends to investigate strategic ambidexterity (STA) by examining how environmental dynamism (EN) affects networking capability (NE) in small businesses. In addition, the moderating influence of EN on the relationship between NE and STA is examined. The association between networking capability, environmental dynamism, and strategic ambidexterity was determined by analyzing the responses from a survey of 185 small business owners in the province of West Java. The research has employed survey questionnaires and smart PLS for data analysis. This study indicated that small business networking capability and environmental dynamism directly affected strategic ambidexterity. However, this study's outcomes reveal that environmental dynamism as a moderator in the relationship between networking capability and strategic ambidexterity is insignificant.

Abstract

The development of the world's digital governance era has reached the development of smart city 4.0. Not many cities can make that happen. In Indonesia, the movement towards smart cities is still starting to be echoed. So it is necessary to prepare and have the will of the region to implement a smart city because of the difficulty in preparing to implement a smart city. Wonogiri Regency is one of the districts selected for smart city implementation because the achievement of the Electronic-Based Government System (SPBE) indicator has increased. The purpose of this study was to analyze the readiness of implementing a smart city master plan in the Wonogiri Regency. This research is a qualitative type with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews with 8 purposively selected informants. The researcher found that the readiness of the five components (nature, structure, infrastructure, superstructure, and culture) was 51% in good condition, 32% in moderate condition, and 17% in poor condition. This means that it is necessary to increase the structural and superstructure components where conditions are still bad. Recommendations in increasing readiness for smart city implementation include making regional smart city policies; improving the quality of the relevant apparatus to improve the quality of ICT capabilities; increasing the amount of budget in the smart city program; and preparing supporting institutions

Abstract

As a sustainable from the research in 2019 regarding the Planning of the Medan-Berastagi Alternative Route that the Researchers have carried out, this year it is planned to conduct research related to the cost of construction and the feasibility of constructing the alternative route as a whole economy. It is important that a study be carried out immediately because of the importance of this alternative route considering the frequent occurrence of severe traffic jams due to accidents or natural disasters along this route in recent times. Knowing the development costs as well as the economic feasibility of this new route will help interested stakeholders in making decisions regarding this new route. The total construction cost which includes construction costs, design and supervision costs and land acquisition costs is IDR 1,171,518,647,736 while the annual routine maintenance costs are IDR 3,114,325,566 and periodic maintenance costs per five years are IDR 87,808,542,710. Calculation of Vehicle Operating Costs (VOC) is carried out by referring to Pacific Consultant International (PCI) standards while the Time Value calculation is adopted from the 2001 Bina Marga “Heavy Loaded Road Improvement Project – Master Plan Review” study (for Buses and Passenger Cars) and “Sumatera Region Road Project” PU (2000) for trucks. The existence of the Medan-Berastagi alternative road will save VOC of IDR 22,120,269,410 and Time Value savings of IDR 57,337,666,839 in 2023. The economic feasibility analysis results can be seen that the value of the Economic Internal Rate of Return is 12,06% greater than the current lending rates are in the range of 8-9%. At the prevailing interest rate of 10%, the Benefit Cost Ratio is 1.16 and the Net Present Values are IDR 204,496,000,000. These results indicate that the construction of the MedanBerastagi Alternative Road is economically feasible.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the homestay management during the covid-19 pandemic in the Kebangsaan Tourism Village Wonorejo. The existence of homestays is very important to support tourist activities, such as extending the length of stay of tourists. Homestay was developed from 2017 and continues to increase and has an impact on the local economy. Since the COVID-19 pandemic, management has implemented health protocols in accordance with government recommendations. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze the management of homestays during the covid-19 pandemic. This research was conducted with a descriptive-qualitative approach. The data analysis technique used the POAC management theory (planning, organizing, actuating, and controlling) to obtain the results of homestay management during the Covid-19 pandemic in the application of CHSE. The results of the study show that the management of homestays in the Kebangsaan Tourism Village during the Covid-19 pandemic has not implemented CHSE. Some have taken basic infection prevention measures such as encouraging frequent hand washing, providing hand sanitizer, urging employees to stay home if they are sick, preparing extra tissues and trash containers in public areas, increasing time in room maintenance. In addition, several managements have also implemented hygiene and environmental safety, such as: cleaning surfaces that look dirty followed by disinfection and performing additional cleaning on all frequently touched areas. Management has not implemented social distancing. Management needs training and socialization in implementing CHSE for homestay management.

Abstract

Syzygium belongs to the guava tribe or Myrtaceae, originating from Southeast Asia. Syzygium is divided into two: small water guava known as Syzygium aqueum and large water guava known as Syzygium samarangense. This study aims to determine the mineral levels of iron, potassium, calcium, and sodium contained in guava and guava Semarang and to compare mineral levels between a guava and guava Semarang. Each sample was dry digested, and then quantitative analysis of iron, potassium, calcium, and sodium was carried out using atomic absorption spectrophotometry (AAS) with a wavelength of 248.3 nm; potassium 766.5 nm; calcium 422.7; and sodium 589.0 nm. The advantage of this method is that it can determine the content of minerals in small quantities without being influenced by other minerals. The results showed the levels of iron, potassium, calcium, and sodium in guava and guava Semarang, respectively: (0.2553 ± 0.0077) mg/100g and (0.1548 ± 0.0152) mg/100g; (70.2326 ± 1.5738) mg/100g and (45.7714 ± 0.9827) mg/100g; (3.8588 ± 0.1619) mg/100g and (0.4663 ± 0.0507) mg/100g; (8.1187 ± 0.3375) mg/100g and (6.1648 ± 0.1689) mg/100g. A comparison of mineral content between guava and guava Semarang shows that iron, potassium, calcium, and sodium minerals in guava are more significant than in guava Semarang. Statistically, the different tests of the average content of iron, potassium, calcium, and sodium between guava and guava Semarang using the F distribution found that the content of iron, potassium, calcium, and calcium sodium in guava was significantly higher than in guava Semarang.
