Abstract

The rapid development of the digital economy has intensified consumer interactions with businesses through digital platforms. This condition highlights the urgency of implementing digital business ethics, including transparency in privacy policies, honesty in marketing communication, data protection, and fair algorithmic practices, as key factors in building consumer trust. This paper examines the relationship between digital business ethical practices and consumer trust levels through a review of empirical and conceptual literature (2021–2025). The synthesis indicates that clear ethical practices (transparency, data security, information accuracy, and AI accountability) enhance both emotional and cognitive consumer trust, which in turn strengthens repurchase intention and loyalty. Practical implications and future research directions are provided.

Abstract

The management of student activity evaluation often faces significant efficiency challenges due to feedback collection methods that are still manual, fragmented, and not well integrated, resulting in slow data recapitulation, high potential for data inconsistency, and difficulties in tracing historical evaluation archives, which ultimately weakens the effectiveness of decision-making in quality assurance processes. To address these issues, this study aims to design and develop a feedback information system based on the WordPress Content Management System (CMS), chosen for its flexibility, ease of implementation, extensibility, and capability to centralize data management without requiring complex technical infrastructure. The system development adopts the Waterfall model, consisting of systematic stages including requirements analysis, system design, implementation, and testing, ensuring that the development process is structured and measurable. The analysis stage identifies user needs and system requirements through observation and document review, while the design stage focuses on developing a user-friendly interface, structured data storage, and role-based access control for administrators and users. During implementation, WordPress is configured and customized through plugins and online feedback forms that enable automatic data processing and centralized archiving. Functional testing simulations demonstrate that the system operates according to its specifications and is capable of supporting online data input, automatic report generation, and efficient data management. Preliminary evaluation results indicate that the proposed system can reduce data recapitulation time by up to 70% compared to conventional methods, making it a practical solution for supporting the digitalization of quality assurance in student activity management.

Abstract

Short video platforms such as TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts have become strategic media in digital marketing, particularly for skincare products that are highly popular among millennials. This trend highlights that marketing is no longer limited to information delivery but also involves building emotional connections, consumer trust, and digital literacy. This study aims to analyze the influence of short video marketing on skincare purchase decisions using the Orange Technology approach, which emphasizes empathy, transparency, and consumer well-being. The method employed is a descriptive qualitative approach through literature review and thematic analysis to examine the roles of visual, narrative, and interactivity elements within short video content. The findings indicate that short video marketing is effective in enhancing brand awareness, reinforcing product recall, and fostering emotional and social engagement with consumers. However, risks such as misinformation, visual manipulation, and low digital literacy require the implementation of ethical principles and consumer education. In conclusion, when designed ethically, empathetically, and transparently, short video marketing is not merely a promotional tool but also a practical application of Orange Technology that supports innovation, humanistic values, and consumer well-being. Therefore, this strategy contributes both to strengthening purchase decisions and maintaining consumer trust.

Abstract

The rapid accumulation of inorganic waste in urban environments requires an effective and sustainable technological approach. Conventional sorting methods that rely entirely on human awareness are often inefficient, labor-intensive, and prone to error, leading to minimal reduction in waste volume at the source. This study aims to design an automatic waste sorting system named ”Orange Box” utilizing Artificial Intelligence and Computer Vision methods implemented on a Raspberry Pi 5 to achieve high-speed and accurate waste classification. The system employs a V2 Camera Module for visual data acquisition and the BCM2712 processor to run a MobileNetV2 model trained on a custom dataset of 50 images. The waste is classified into plastic bottle and cup. Physical separation is executed by MG995R Servo Motors supported by a 20A Power Supply Unit.Performance testing demonstrates that the system achieves a classification accuracy of 92% with an average inference time of 45 Ms per image. Electrical analysis shows stable operation with an average power consumption of 10.50 – 11.10 Watt during processing and a peak load of 17.17 Watt during actuator movement. The integration of Raspberry Pi 5 successfully overcomes latency issues found in previous studies, providing a real-time, energy-efficient, and consistent sorting solution suitable for deployment in public facilities and smart city infrastructures.

Abstract

The rapid expansion of the gig economy has transformed collaborative practices among micro entrepreneurs, particularly within informal creative sectors in developing economies. However, existing studies largely focus on platform-based labor and formalized value co-creation, leaving the lived experiences of micro entrepreneurs in emerging creative hubs underexplored. This study aims to explore how micro entrepreneurs engage in value co-creation within Indonesia’s emerging creative ecosystems. Using a qualitative phenomenological approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and document analysis involving 25 micro entrepreneurs from the F&B, barista, artisan, and creative sectors in Indonesian creative hubs. The findings reveal that value co-creation is deeply embedded in relational trust, community reciprocity, hybrid digital–community interaction, and identity formation. Co-creation practices were found to function not only as economic strategies but also as mechanisms for collective resilience, social belonging, and entrepreneurial legitimacy. The study extends the literature on Service-Dominant Logic and gig economy research by highlighting the socio-cultural and place-based dimensions of collaborative entrepreneurship in developing economies. Practically, the findings provide insights for policymakers, creative hub managers, and micro entrepreneurs in fostering sustainable and inclusive creative ecosystems.

Abstract

Increasing awareness of children’s health has shifted parents’ preferences from conventional snacks to healthier alternatives. The primary issue is that parents’ purchasing decisions are strongly influenced by trust and community validation. Social media has transformed from a platform for sharing information into an instrument of social validation that helps parents select products for their children. As an adaptive platform, Instagram introduced the collaboration post feature, enabling two accounts to jointly publish content. The urgency of this research lies in the challenge faced by brands in determining whether independently posting content is sufficiently effective or utilizing collaboration features is necessary to penetrate platform algorithms and reach audiences. This study aims to analyze the significant differences in Engagement Rate (ER) between Regular Post and Collaboration Post involving credible third parties, such as pediatricians, nutritionists, and mom influencers. The novelty of this research lies in optimizing the differences in the strategic functions of engagement and reach within collaborative social media marketing strategies. The analysis results indicate that regular posts are more effective in fostering community engagement, whereas collaboration posts are more effective in expanding audience reach. This finding is supported by the Independent Sample t-test, indicating a significant difference in engagement rates between regular posts and collaboration posts (t = 2.897; p = 0.010 < 0.05). Therefore, this study contributes to understanding the strategic trade-off between audience reach expansion and audience engagement levels in digital marketing strategies

Abstract

Time and cost control are important aspects in the implementation of construction projects. This study aims to analyze the performance of construction projects using the Earned Value Management (EVM) method through evaluations of three sample villages in the development of the Red and White Cooperative Outlet in South Konawe, namely projects experiencing delays, projects that are running according to schedule and projects that are completed in the 2nd month, from a 3-month duration. The data used is a contract value of Rp1,600,000,000 with 90 working days. The evaluation was carried out in the 2nd month by analyzing earned value management indicators which include budgeted cost of work scheduled (BCWS), budgeted cost of work performed (BCWP), actual cost of work performed (ACWP), cost variance (CV), schedule variance (SV), cost performance index (CPI), schedule performance index (SPI), estimate to complete (ETC), estimate at completion (EAC), estimate temporary schedule (ETS), and estimate at schedule (EAS). The results of the study showed that the evaluation of the project that experienced delays obtained an SPI value of 0.92 and a CPI of 0.96 which indicated delays in work implementation and cost wastage, with a predicted project completion of 92.6 days or 2.6 days. Earned Value Management method is able to provide information regarding the condition of the project from the cost and time aspects, so that it can be used as a tool for controlling and evaluating construction project performance.
