Abstract

 One of the forms of business that may be done by a housewife is entrepreneurship, namely making APAYA (Abon Papaya). Processed food products made from papaya are chosen as an entrepreneurial business because they have good prospects. In addition to the young leaves as medicine, the fruit can be used as sweets, there are other food preparations made from papaya. Given the benefits and good nutritional content, papaya fruit verification is needed so that the product can be more acceptable to the community. The purpose of this activity is to inspire people about an idea and an entrepreneurial spirit with raw materials that are easily available and available around them so that they can increase household income. Through this service activity, assistance in making APAYA (Abon Papaya) into an economic commodity product in the form of shredded shredded can provide an alternative to new economic businesses in the community. The positive impact of this activity is to increase skills and knowledge related to the production of processed papaya fruit.

Abstract

The character building activity of “birrul walidainii” in students of SMK Muhammadiyah Kramat as an effort to overcome juvenile delinquency today is very much needed by society and teenagers today. Community service was carried out at SMK Muhammadiyah Kramat, Jl. Garuda No. 09, Kemantran, Kramat District, Tegal Regency, Central Java. The activity was carried out on Saturday, February 20, 2021. The target of this community service is Muhammadiyah Kramat Vocational High School Students, totaling 90 students. This community service partner is SMK Muhammadiyah Kramat. This community service activity method is carried out using the method of awareness / increasing understanding of the character “birrul walidainii” in SMK Muhammadiyah Kramat students as an effort to overcome juvenile delinquency. The implementation of a community service program which consists of several activities, namely awareness / increasing the importance of respect and obedience to parents, education on the urgency of the role of parents, and awareness / increasing the importance of respect and obedience to teachers. The factors that most play a role in causing delinquency in SMK Muhammadiyah Kramat students are family factors and environmental factors. Through awareness / increasing understanding of the character “birrul walidainii” in SMK Muhammadiyah Kramat students as an effort to overcome juvenile delinquency, parents and teachers of SMK Muhammadiyah Kramat have an important role in educating students of SMK Muhammadiyah Kramat. One way is to keep their children busy with general education and religious education, with the hope of fortifying students of SMK Muhammadiyah Kramat to avoid the influence of juvenile delinquency and so that parents, teachers, and students of SMK Muhammadiyah Kramat are able to establish two-way communication where Parents can immediately understand their role in educating children and children as well as students understand the meaning of “birrul walidaini”.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe purpose ofthis activity is to educate the community to know the symptoms of landslides and increase community awareness early on and provide assistance to the community to identify layers of soil or rocks that have the potential to cause landslides around residential areas using geoelectric. To achieve this goal, landslide disaster preparedness counseling activities are carried out for residents of Nyarumkop Singkawang Timur Village. The number of participants of the activity as many as 20 heads of families. Counseling activities carried out include coordination with the East Singkawang Sub-District and local RT, material briefings, simulation of landslide disaster mitigation, identification of potential landslides, and follow-up activities. The results of this community pengabdian    activities can be described as follows: The community has been aware of the symptoms of landslides and there is an increase in public awareness early on. Abstract

Permasalahan yang terjadi pada Ibu-ibu PKK Br. Purwakerta Desa Gerih – Abiansemal Kab. Badung adalah hambatan dalam pendampingan peserta didik yang memiliki anak SD sebagai pendamping merasa kesulitan dalam memanfaatkan telepon seluler sebagai media untuk mengirimkan tugas kepada guru. Pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan informasi kepada orang tua tentang pemanfaatan aplikasi seluler, pemberian informasi diharapkan mampu mengembangkan keterampilan orang tua berupa cara mengirim tugas-tugas peserta didik. Hasil yang dicapai berupa, 85% Ibu-ibu dapat memanfaatkan menu aplikasi seluler sebagai pendampingan anak BDR. Pelatihan  ini memberikan edukasi kepada orang tua sebagai pendamping anak BDR memperbaharui pengetahuan mereka mengenai perkembangan teknologi .

Abstract

Keberhasilan dalam proses pembelajaran tidak lepas dari peran serta guru, sehingga kompetensi guru sangat diperlukan. Pelatihan Media Edmodo sebagai Pembelajaran Literasi Digital ini dilakukan untuk untuk mengenalkan media Edmodo dan menambah keterampilan guru SDN Geluran III dalam proses pembelajaran. Tahap yang dilakukan pada pelatihan ini ada 3 yaitu: (1) pemaparan materi, (2) praktek dan simulasi (3) evaluasi. Pelatihan ini dilakukan di laboratorium komputer SDN Geluran III dan diikuti sebnayak 21 guru. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa sebanyak 86% guru tertarik dengan media Edmodo dan menunjukkan alasan dengan respon positif. Sebanyak 81% guru menyatakan mudah dalam menggunakan media Edmodo dan Sebagian besar guru setuju untuk menerapkan media Edmodo di sekolah. Keterbatasan penyediaan internet dan jaringan internet yang tidak stabil masih menjadi kendala utama bagi guru dalam menerapkan proses pembelajaran daring.

Abstract

Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah menjadi wadah nyata dalam meningkatkan kiterasi numerasi di sekolah dan meningkatkan pembelajran di masa pandemi covid-19. Lima sekolah dasar yang terlibat meliputi SDN Susukan 08 Pagi, SD Islam Taman Quraniyah, SD Swasta Cokroaminoto, SDN Kebon Cau II, dan SDN 4 Tukak Sadai. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yang dilakukan menggunakan metode pendampingan. Pelaksanaan kegiatan dimulai dari 17 Agustus 2020 – 17 September 2020. Kegiatan – kegiatan yang dilakukan oleh mahasiswa dibawah pendampingan dosen meliputi: 1) pengenalan ruang lingkup sekolah; (2) mendukung guru kelas dalam mengembangkan pembelajaran literasi dan numerasi; (3) memberi bantuan pada guru dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran baik daring ataupun luring; (4) membantu adaptasi pengenalan teknologi dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar; (5) mendukung dan membantu pengelolaan administrasi sekolah; (6) memberi dukungan bagi guru, peserta didik, dan pihak sekolah dalam beradaptasi melalui penerapan dan penggunaan teknologi untuk mendukung kegiatan belajar di rumah; (7) membantu pemerintah untuk mensosialisasikan dan menggunakan modul pembelajaran terkait literasi numerasi di lingkungan sekolah pada masa pandemi, mengenalkannya pada peserta didik, guru serta wali murid atau orang tua; dan (8) mendukung proses pembelajaran daring di sekolah selama masa pandemi dengan  menyusun perangkat pembelajaran daring dan penggunaan serta pemanfaatan teknologi untuk keperlu belajar mengajar secara daring.

Abstract

The progress of knowledge in the educational process is one of the crucial needs that must be met by parents and guardians of students, especially when implementing learning from home as a result of the current Covid-19 pandemic. The Community Service Program with activities to introduce digital-based family literacy movements is one of the efforts to help the community, especially parents, to continue to understand the progress of knowledge to support the education and learning process from home. Outcomes Community service activities that have been carried out at SD Negeri Sogan aim to help improve digital literacy skills in everyday life. The subjects of the service were the guardians of the sixth grade students at SD Negeri Sogan as many as 20 people. The method of implementing service activities is carried out through 3 (three) stages, namely need assessment, implementation, and evaluation of activities. From the results of the evaluation of the implementation of the activities, it can be concluded that 1) it is effective and useful for service participants, namely the guardians of class VI Sogan Elementary School; and 2) there is an increase in the knowledge and understanding of service participants about the digital-based family literacy movement.

Abstract

The current Covid-19 pandemic has had a very broad impact on various fields and levels of society, including education and students. Students are a group of people who are vulnerable to getting infected and becoming a COVID-19 transmitter. This Community Service activity aims to 1) Provide a deep understanding to students about covid-19 and how to prevent it. 2) Train students in making hand sanitizer and antiseptic and 3) meeting the basic needs of students affected by COVID-19. The methods used in this activity are: a) Dissemination of COVID-19 and how to prevent it. b) Assistance in the manufacture of antiseptic, including hand sanitizer and, disinfectant and, c) Providing assistance for staple food needs. Based on the results of this training activity, it shows that the participants have knowledge about what they can do to prevent the spread of Covid-19 by not traveling to places that cause crowds, always clean the boarding room or rented house with a disinfectant at least once a week and always use a hand sanitizer after having contact with objects in public areas and avoid direct physical contact such as shaking hands. Furthermore, participants have skills in making hand sanitizers and disinfectants through video tutorials made by the Community Service Team (PKM). In addition, participants were trained to maintain social distancing, especially at the stage of distributing staple food packages independently and eliminating crowds, washing hands before taking packages, measuring blood pressure, and checking body temperature.

Abstract

GeLiS is an effort in the form of participatory activities involving school residents so that students get used to reading. The literacy skills of students in Kumba Village are sufficient. Based on the preliminary study, the library that should be used as a place to read books is only used as a place to store books. So with this GeLiS, it is hoped that students' reading literacy skills will increase. This activity aims to provide teachers with an understanding of GeLiS and provide examples of the implementation that teachers must do to support the literacy movement in elementary schools. The method used is the lecture method and questions and answers about the literacy movement in schools. The results of this activity indicate that the teacher's understanding of the literacy movement in elementary schools is good, and adapted to the abilities of students, while the implementation that teachers do in grade IV is still monitoring to improve reading and writing skills and to increase self-confidence through listening to the national compulsory anthem. , take turns reading picture story books provided in the reading corner and library.

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian Pada Masyarakat (PPM) ini dilaksanakan atas dasar kebutuhan dari kelompok sasaran. Tujuan dilaksanakan kegiatan ini untuk memberikan wawasan dan keterampilan kepada guru SD dalam mengelola dan mengimplementasikan model flipped learning berbasis saintifik dalam pembelajaran BDR (Belajar di Rumah). PPM ini diikuti oleh guru SD di lingkungan Dinas Pendidikan Kabupaten Bantul. Peserta berjumlah 30 orang. Metode yang digunakan dalam PPM ini yaitu pelatihan, tanya jawab, diskusi, simulasi praktek pembelajaran, praktik mengajar dan pendampingan. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan selama dua bulan. Kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini dilaskanakan selama dua bulan sejak 22 Mei 2021 sampai 21 Juli 2021. Adapun tahapan kegiatan meliputi (1) perencanaan, (2) pelaksanaan, dan (3) evaluasi dan tindak lanjut. Berdasarkan penilaian terhadap produk yang dihasilkan peserta, maka kemampuan peserta untuk menyusun perencanaan melalui pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran flipped learning berbasis saintifik, serta pelaksanaan praktek mengajar pembelajaran flipped learning berbasis saintifik dapat dinyatakan sudah terampil.
