Abstract

The main objective of this research is to find out how to play the listen-repeat-say game and how it affects students’ mastery of Javanese language skills. This study used a quantitative approach with an experimental design of One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. A before and after test was included in this design to measure the treatment applied. The samples in this study were 21 grade I students at MI Ma’arif Tumenggungan. The data obtained from this study prove that 1) The initial Javanese language skills of students which include speaking skills and writing skills obtained a percentage of 17% (not good enough) while listening skills and reading skills obtained a percentage of 33% (good enough). 2) The existence of the effect of the listen-repeat-say game on students’ Javanese language skills is evidenced by the results of hypothesis testing which obtained a Sig. (2-tailed) 0.000 <0.05. 3) Designing and describing the implementation of the listen-repeat-say game applied to Javanese.

Abstract

One way to foster students' enthusiasm and interest in learning is to use learning methods. The learning method that can be applied is the Problem Based Learning method. This type of research data is qualitative and quantitative research. The location in this research is MI Malihatul Hikam. The subjects of this research were class IV B MI Malihatul Hikam for the 2022/2023 academic year, totaling 18 students. The techniques used in data collection are observation, interviews, documentation and tests.Based on the conclusion that the use of the Problem Based Learning model can improve learning outcomes in social studies learning. This can be proven by an increase in learning outcomes in each cycle. In cycle I the average score of the student learning outcomes test was 72.77, the lowest score was 30.00 and the highest score was 85.00. This is known by comparing the pre-cycle value with the first cycle value, the test results show that the first cycle value is greater than the pre-cycle average value, namely 72.77 > 68.88. Meanwhile in cycle II the average value was 74.66, the lowest value was 70.00 and the highest value was 85.00. This is known by comparing the first cycle scores with the second cycle scores, the test results where the second cycle scores are greater than the first cycle scores, the average score is 74.66 > 72.77. And in cycle III the average test result score was 79.16, while the lowest score was 75.00 and the highest score was 85.00. Keywords: Learning Outcomes, Problem Based Learning Models.

Abstract

This research describes the supporting and obstacle factors in implementing the Jigsaw method in social studies learning for grade V elementary schools. The type of research used is a case study with a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques are interviews, observation and documentation. The Miles and Huberman model data analysis technique which includes data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The results of the research show that the supporting factors are the fulfillment of school facilities and infrastructure, as well as the active role of the school, both by teachers and school principals through programs that are able to increase teacher competence in relation to learning at school and the inhibiting factor is the Jigsaw method which requires time old and smart students tend not to want to be put together. The application of the Jigsaw method in class V social studies learning in elementary schools begins with the preparation of learning tools such as lesson plans. The implementation process carried out by the teacher in learning includes initial or opening activities, core activities and final activities. The initial activities were carried out by the teacher by providing motivation and apperception. In the core activity, the teacher implements the Jigsaw method through the steps that have been prepared. In the final activity, the teacher provides a conclusion. The evaluation process is carried out through written tests. The results show effectiveness in the learning process and are able to improve learning outcomes for students.

Abstract

Studying the integrated learning paradigm further is the aim of this research. A literature perspective methodology taken from various journals was used in this research. The integrated model is a unifying learning exercise that integrates several subjects at once in one face-to-face meeting to provide students with meaningful experiences, according to the analysis findings of several journals. The goal of this strategy is to produce a more realistic and contextual learning environment. This article outlines the basic ideas of the Blended Learning Model, lists guiding principles for its implementation, and emphasizes how the model can help students learn more effectively. This article also examines the difficulties that may arise when installing Integrated. By using this strategy, it is believed that a more interesting, innovative and relevant learning environment can be produced.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the reading and writing difficulties of high-grade students and the factors that inhibit high-grade readers. The subjects in this study were 4th grade students, with a total of 30 students, 15 female students and 15 male students. In this study, the researcher focused on the difficulties of one student. In qualitative research, in the classroom, to find out the number of students who cannot read and write, only one student is interviewed using in-depth interview techniques. This technique involves interaction between the researcher and the research subject to gain an in-depth understanding of the subject's experiences and views related to literacy. The research was conducted at SD 2 Hadipolo. This research used qualitative methods with data collection using observation and interviews. The results of this study show that there is one student from the high school who has difficulty reading and writing. Factors causing the student's reading and writing difficulties include limitations in basic reading skills such as letter recognition, understanding letter sounds, distinguishing letters, or combining letters to make words. Students' lack of interest in learning letters, motivation to read, and lack of support from the surrounding environment, such as parents and teachers, can also be the cause of students' difficulties in reading.

Abstract

In answering the fourth industrial revolution era, basic Islamic education institutions did not adequately apply old literacy (reading, writing, arithmetic), but had to apply new literacy (data literacy, technology literacy and human resource literacy or humanism). This article discusses the challenges and opportunities of basic Islamic education in the era of the fourth industrial revolution. Strengthening new literacy in Islamic elementary education teachers as a key to change, revitalizing literacy-based curriculum and strengthening the role of teachers who have digital competencies. The teacher plays a role in building competency generation, character, having new literacy skills, and high-level thinking skills. Islamic elementary education as a basis for determining intellectual, spiritual, and emotional intelligence in children must strengthen 21st century literacy skills. Start creative aspects, critical thinking, communicative, and collaborative. Islamic elementary education is urgently needed to strengthen new literacy and revitalize digital-based curriculum. Curriculum revitalization refers to five basic values of good students, namely resilience, adaptability, integrity, competence, and continuous improvement. Islamic elementary education educators must be digital teachers, understand computers, and be free from academic illness. The goal is to realize high competency generation, character and literacy to answer the challenges of the fourth industrial revolution era

Abstract

This article explores the application of educational resources within the framework of integrated thematic learning at the primary school level. Integrated thematic learning is gaining popularity as an approach aimed at strengthening the interconnectedness between subjects and the practical relevance of learning. In this context, the incorporation of educational resources plays a pivotal role in enhancing students' learning experiences and deepening their comprehension of the subject matter. The article delineates various types of educational resources suitable for integrated thematic learning, along with effective strategies for seamlessly integrating these resources into the learning process. Furthermore, the article assesses the advantages of employing educational resources in boosting learning motivation, fostering student engagement, and improving overall learning outcomes. Thus, the article imparts valuable insights to educators regarding the significance of incorporating educational resources within the realm of integrated thematic learning in elementary schools.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the use of Educative Game Tools media on student learning outcomes in the Thematic subject of class 1 flat shapes at SDIT IQRA' 2 Bengkulu City. This type of research is a quantitative approach. The population in this study were all first-grade students, while the sample in this study were students in grades 1A and 1B at SDIT IQRA' 2 Bengkulu City, with 26 students in each class. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques are observation, tests and documentation. Testing the hypothesis in this study using the t test formula. The results of this study are that there is an effect of using Educative Game Tools on student learning outcomes in the Thematic subject of flat shape material at SDIT IQRA' 2 Bengkulu City between the control class and the experimental class. This is evidenced from the results of the calculation of the t-test test data for learning outcomes using the Independent Sample T-Test obtained t-count = 3.812 and t-table = 1.711. The significance value in the Sig table. (2 tailed) obtained 0.000 ≤ 0.05 then Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. So it can be concluded that there is a significant influence on student learning outcomes in the thematic subjects of class flat material at SDIT IQRA' 2 Bengkulu City.

Abstract

Character education is the spirit of education because character education can form a whole person. This research aims to determine the implementation of the tahfidzul qur'an development program, the values ​​of character education in the tahfidzul qur'an education program and the obstacles to solutions to implementing the tahfidzul quran development program in fostering character education values ​​in MI Mu'awanah Banjarwati students. This research method is field research which is descriptive qualitative in nature with a case study approach. The tahfidzul Qur'an program is a program for memorizing the words of the Qur'an and their meanings and being able to pronounce them by heart without looking at the mushaf. The results of the research show that the tahfidzul Qur'an coaching program was implemented in five stages, namely: class placement selection, Tahsin, Deposit, Muroja'ah and final exam. The tahfidzul Qur'an development program at MI Mu'awanah Banjarwati has implications for the values ​​of student character education, namely the shiddiq (honest) attitude shown by children by honestly admitting their memorization abilities, fathonah (intelligence) shown by children's intelligence in allocating time to memorize with other activities at school and the attitude of al-Amanah, (it is believed) is shown by children who are enthusiastic and have a firm attitude in memorizing under any circumstances so that when depositing the memorization they can recite it well and correctly without looking at the mushaf. In this case, of course the instilling of character education values ​​of honesty, intelligence and trustworthiness must be carried out in students' daily lives both at school, at home and in the social environment. So that these character values ​​will produce a generation that is always honest in every word and deed, has high intelligence and can always be trusted in carrying out their mandate.

Abstract

The aim of implementing the Discovery Learning learning method is an effort to create an effective learning process and improve student learning outcomes. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with observation, interview and documentation data collection techniques. Meanwhile, data analysis uses in-depth data analysis, namely the data reduction stage, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The aim of the research is to describe the application of the discovery learning model and its problems in learning the History of Islamic Culture at MI Tarbiyatut Tholabah Kranji. The results of the research show that the teacher applies the six steps of the discovery learning model, the results of its application are very effective, students feel happy, it trains students' critical reasoning, it doesn't seem boring. and is able to increase student learning motivation, and can improve learning outcomes. The problems that arise, the limited time, limited critical thinking of students and not all students are able to absorb the material, these findings are different from previous research which only focused on implementing learning models without any problems.
