Aksara merupakan jurnal yang diterbitkan oleh Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia, Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan, Universitas Batanghari dan Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian Masyarakat Universitas Batanghari. Jurnal ini merupakan jurnal penelitian yang mempublikasikan artikel hasil penelitian asli, studi kepustakaan, dan tulisan terkait dengan fokus pada kajian Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia, kajian bahasa dan kajian sastra. Semua artikel ditinjau oleh 4 orang reviewer, 2 orang reviewer internal dan 2 orang reviewer eksternal. Jurnal ini diterbitkan dua kali dalam satu tahun setiap bulan April dan bulan September, jurnal aksara ini dapat diakses pembaca, jurnal aksara ini berisi hasil penelitian pustaka maupun hasil penelitian lapangan. Jurnal ini meliputi beberapa ranah Ilmu sebagai berikut: 1. Kajian Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia meliputi bidang pembelajaran keterampilan berbahasa, pembelajaran linguistik, pembelajaran semantik, pembelajaran pragmatik, pembelajaran wacana, pembelajaran sosiolinguistik, pembelajaran psikolinguistik serta pembelajaran puisi, pembelajaran prosa, pembelajaran fiksi, pembelajaran drama. 2. Kajian Bahasa Indonesia meliputi: fonologi, morfologi, sintaksis, analisis wacana, semantik, pragmatik, sosiolinguistik, psikolinguistik, bahasa dan budaya, dialektologi, dokumentasi bahasa, serta bidang keilmuan lain yang berkaitan dengan kajian kebahasaan. 3. Kajian Sastra Indonesia meliputi: sastra lisan dan sastra modern berupa kajian puisi, prosa fiksi dan drama.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the protagonist's character Zahrana in Habiburrahman El-Shirazy's Novel of Cinta Suci Zahrana. The protagonist of Zahrana in Habiburrahman El-Shirazy's novel Cinta Suci Zahrana is honest, humble, clever, and independent. This research falls into the qualitative descriptive. Qualitative descriptive research is a type of money research used to understand the phenomena experienced by subjects by describing words and language using data from research results in a novel. The data in the novel is in the form of quotations from aspects of the protagonist's character in character Zahrana contained in the novel Cinta Suci Zahrana by Habiburrahman El-Shirazy. The result of this study is a description of the aspects of the protagonist character of the character Zahrana in the novel Cinta Suci Zahrana by Habiburrahman El-Shirazy. Quotes about the protagonist's character are depicted in the character of Zahrana, which includes honest, humble, clever, and independent. As for the quotes depicting Zahrana has an honest personality, as many as 21 quotes, quotes that describe humble as many as 34 quotes, quotes that describe clever as many as 21 quotes. Self-described quotes as many as 12 citations with the number of sources obtained peer to 88 citations. Keywords: literary work, novel, protagonist character

Abstract

This study aims to describe the use of prefix in Bugis Bone language at Bugis Bone Desa Simbur Naik Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Timur which refers to six types of a prefix, namely prefix ka-, pa-, ma-, ta-, na-, and si-. This type of research is qualitative descriptive. The data in the study is taken from the form of a sentence containing the use of a prefix. The data source is a sentence in Bugis Bone language obtained from the informant. The data collection technique used is a questionnaire. Data is conducted by using Fahmi's theory (2011) related to the use of prefixes. Based on the data analysis, the study results found six types of the prefix used in Bugis Bone language. The six types of the prefix are prefix ka- which can be used in sentences that mean like or often do, prefix pa- used in sentences that function to form nouns or actors, prefix ma- used in sentences that convey as verbs or do something, prefix ta- used in sentences such as word of invitation to the second party, prefix na- serves as subject to practice or action, and the prefix si- serves as a number one. Based on the results of the data analysis, it can be concluded that the prefix used in the most common sentences is the use of the prefix ma- which is meaningful or serves as a verb or doing work. Keywords: prefix use, Bugis Bone, Desa Simbur Naik

Abstract

The purpose of the research is to describe the form of moral values or teachings in the novel Red and White Tainted in the Borders. The research methodology used is the descriptive analysis method. The data used is secondary data. The novels used are Red and White In The Borders by Jemmy Setiawan and Winston Neil Rondo. This study's result is a form of moral value in the novel Red, and White Tainted in the Borders By Jemmy Setiawan and Winston Neil Rondo consists of three forms. The three forms of moral values are a form of moral value in human relations with God, a form of moral value in human relations with the nation and country, and moral value in human relations with the ruler.  Keywords: Moral values, Representation of Moral values

Abstract

This study aims to describe and document the syntactic behavior of adjectives from aspects of attributed functions, predicative functions, and adverbial functions of Jambi Malay language in Desa Tunas Baru Kecamatan Sekernan Kabupaten Muaro Jambi The study uses qualitative descriptive method, the data collection techniques used are observation and structured interviews. In this study, the data in adjective syntax behavior was taken from 6 informants, with the provision of samples taken based on the direction of the wind that is a native speaker of Jambi Malay in Desa Tunas Baru Kecamatan Sekernan Kabupaten Muaro Jambi. The data is analyzed by using the distributional analysis method. This study shows the syntactic behavior of adjectives in Jambi Malay Desa Tunas Baru Kecamatan Sekernan Kabupaten Muaro Jambi includes the attribute function of an adjective, predicative function adjective and adverbial function or adjective information. The adjective syntax behavior of the attributed function is found in the sentence dudoklah kautu di kursi rogot tu, jangan di bawah dudok e, which means (let's sit on the old chair, do not sit down). The syntactic behavior of adjectives from the aspect of predicative function is found in the sentence of orang tu kiniko bangat, sian nengok e, which means (the person is now sick, pity to see it). Then the adjective syntactic behavior of the aspect of adverbial function or description is found in the sentence demi nyekolahi anak e Ayah kerjo dengan soho-soho, which means (For the sake of sending his son to school, his father works earnestly). Keywords: Jambi Malay language morphosyntax, adjective function

Abstract

Deixis in the folklore Negeri Para Phuyang Hikayat Komering Pitu Phuyang by Hbr. Himawan Bastari R. is the problem in this article. The purpose of this article is to describe the use of deixis in the folklore Negeri Para Phuyang Hikayat Komering Pitu Phuyang by Hbr. Himawan Bastari R.. Qualitative descriptive method is the method that chosen by the author in this study. Through qualitative descriptive method the writer can find data in the form of words or sentences related to deixis in the folklore of Negeri Para Phuyang Hikayat Komering Pitu Phuyang by Hbr. Himawan Bastari R.. After that the author will analyze and calssify based on the form of space deixis, time deixis, and person deixis. Based on the data analysis, it was found that the use of deixis in the folklore Negeri Para Phuyang Hikayat Komering Pitu Phuyang by Hbr. Himawan Bastari R. in the form of person deixis, space deixis, and time deixis. Person deixis are divided into three, the first person (I, -my, my-, we, us), the second person (you, you, you, you, you, sir, older brother), the third person (them). Abstract

The research aims to compare the short story "Fugitive" by Agus Noor and the short story translation "Body Pieces" by Pyun Hye-young. The study reviewed aspects of literary psychology in two literary works. Studies examine the psychology of the main character using descriptive qualitative methods. The results of the study: id on both short stories is to bring body parts and get news of the discovery of body parts; ego in both short stories is the character takes decisions from the problems faced; Superego is the acceptance of figures on the things that have been determined from the resolution of the problem. The two figures from the short story studied have behavioral similarities that are about facing murder cases, which distinguishes only the social and cultural background between domestic and foreign socio-cultures, namely South Korea.

Abstract

Learning in schools in the era of technological development is always related to teaching materials such as electronic student worksheets. The development of electronic student worksheets is the problem in this article. The purpose of this article is to describe the process of developing electronic student worksheets to identify the contents of inspirational story texts using the discovery learning model. This research and development uses the ADDIE model which is limited only to the development stage. The development stages include: analysis of existing needs in schools, designing products according to needs, product development and testing to validators, and improvements according to suggestions. Based on the assessment by media expert Mr. Uli Rizki, M.Kom., expert practitioner Mrs. Prillia Ekaningtiass, M.Pd., and material expert Mr. Andi Widiono, M.Pd. electronic student worksheets has been produced to identify the contents of inspirational story texts based on discovery learning learning models that are worthy of being tested for class IX students. The E-LKPD contains a cover/title page, an introductory page (description of the electronic student worksheets, study instructions, electronic student worksheets systematics, description of core competence, basic competencies, indicators, table of contents, materials, examples of inspiring story texts, exercises, evaluations, reflections, glossary, bibliography, and back cover.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the values of local wisdom as a character formation found in the collection of Cerita Rakyat Daerah Jambi by Thabran Kahar. The author took two stories of Cerita Rakyat Daerah Jambi: (1) Pulau Jur, (2) Perpatih Nan Sebatang. These two stories represent 4 aspects as a character-shaped, (1) aspect of honesty, (2) aspects of positive thinking, (3) aspects of religion, (4) aspects of interacting politely. As a result, the values of local wisdom as a character shape found in the Cerita Rakyat Daerah Jambi by Thabran Kahar is very wide. Of the two chosen Jambi folklore people have four aspects as characters, (1) aspects of honest attitude, (2) aspects of positive thinking, (3) religious aspects, (4) aspects of interacting politely. These aspects found in quotes contained in the Cerita Rakyat Daerah Jambi by Thabran Kahar and friends. The results of research have 33 quotes related to aspects of local wisdom values as characters. Of these 33 aspects there are 11 aspects of honest attitude, 8 aspects of positive ways of thinking, 7 aspects of religious, and 7 aspects of interacting politely. Descriptive qualitative research are used as a technique to describe the values of local wisdom as a character forming in the Cerita Rakyat Daerah Jambi by Thabran Kahar (structural analysis)

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the Social Value of Sandiaga Uno in the biography of Kerja Tuntas Kerja Ikhlas One Way Ticket To Success by Valentina Wikan. This research uses a qualitative approach with content analysis method. The data collection carried out by collecting quotations  that are directly related to social values. Furthermore, the researcher classifies the data into the data classification table, then the next step is to analyze the data that has obtained in accordance with the theoretical foundation, which is to use a structural approach. The results showed that Sandiaga Uno's social value contained in Valentina Wikan's biography of Kerja Tuntas Kerja Ikhlas One Way Ticket To Success includes 3 social sub values: (1) 24 quotations of love values, (2) 28 quotations of social responsibility values, (3) 13 quotations of social values of harmony in life. Of the three social sub-values, there are 65 quotations found in the biography of Kerja Tuntas Kerja Ikhlas One Way Ticket To Success by Valentina Wikan. The results of this research  concluded that the social sub-values contained in Kerja Tuntas Kerja Ikhlas One Way Ticket To Success by Valentina Wikan can be an example or reference in everyday life or to be applied in community life.

Abstract

This research aims to test and describe the quality of QR code-based e-module on learning scientific writing. This research is an R&D with a 4D Model in the 3rd stage, namely the development stage. Data collection is done by using questionnaire and validation instruments. The e-module that have been prepared are tested for validity, practicality, and effectiveness. The results showed that the validation results obtained an average of 87.5% with very valid categories. Meanwhile, practicality tests from the aspect of use by lecturers obtained 93% results with very practical categories. In addition, the aspect of student response reviewed from the ease of use and time used obtained 81% with very practical categories. E-module is designed to be effective to improve students learning outcomes in writing scientific papers. In general, they are fall into very well category
