Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of the principal as a transformational leader in Vocational High Schools (SMK) and its impact on educational effectiveness. Qualitative research methods with a literature study approach are used to examine theories of transformational leadership and best practices in the context of education. Data were obtained through a literature review of relevant books, scientific journals, and official websites. Data analysis techniques using the Miles and Huberman method include data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The study shows that principals who act as transformational leaders have the ability to inspire and motivate other members of the school community to achieve common goals, encourage innovation, and manage resources effectively. The study found that principals who play an effective transformational role not only set the direction and goals of teaching, but also significantly help improve the quality of teaching and prepare students for the world of work..   Keywords: Principal, Transformational Leader, SMK

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi peran kepemimpinan visioner dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di sekolah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi karakteristik kepemimpinan visioner yang efektif dalam konteks pendidikan, memahami bagaimana kepemimpinan visioner dapat diterapkan untuk meningkatkan mutu pendidikan, menganalisis tantangan dalam implementasinya, dan memberikan rekomendasi praktis bagi pemimpin pendidikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kajian pustaka, mengumpulkan dan menganalisis berbagai literatur relevan untuk mendapatkan pemahaman mendalam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan visioner memiliki dampak positif signifikan terhadap mutu pendidikan, terutama melalui pengembangan kurikulum inovatif, metode pengajaran efektif, dan pemberdayaan profesional guru. Meskipun terdapat tantangan seperti resistensi terhadap perubahan dan keterbatasan sumber daya, komitmen kuat dan strategi yang efektif dapat mengatasi hambatan ini. Penelitian ini diharapkan memberikan kontribusi signifikan baik secara teoritis maupun praktis, serta memberikan wawasan dan panduan bagi pemimpin pendidikan dalam menerapkan kepemimpinan visioner untuk mencapai mutu pendidikan yang lebih baik. Abstract

  Transformational leadership emphasizes change and innovation to achieve organizational goals, which is crucial in the complex field of education. Such leaders inspire, motivate, and empower staff and students, enhancing educational effectiveness through gradual, systematic changes. This study uses a literature review to analyze the impact of transformational leadership on educational organization effectiveness. Findings show that transformational leadership is key in forming a strong, inclusive culture, fostering collaboration, and improving satisfaction and academic performance. The study indicates a positive correlation between transformational leadership and educational performance. Successful implementation requires strong interpersonal skills and organizational support. This research provides valuable insights into strategies for applying transformational leadership to boost educational organization effectiveness.   Keywords: Transformational leadership, organizational effectiveness

Abstract

The role and responsibilities of the school principal are very crucial in achieving learning goals. This study aims to improve understanding of the functions and leadership of school principals in achieving educational goals. In addition, this study also attempts to examine the influence of principal leadership on achieving educational goals. No field survey was conducted in this study. Instead, researchers collected data from books, magazines, articles, and other sources relevant to the principal's duties in achieving goals in elementary schools. They also reviewed previous research. The results of the study revealed that (1) the principal formulates school policy strategies and methods to achieve educational goals, and (2) the role of the principal has great significance for school success. This program was initiated by Nadiem Makarim, Minister of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi peran penting kepemimpinan pendidikan dalam mengintegrasikan teknologi dengan kearifan lokal di sekolah dasar di Indonesia, serta mengidentifikasi tantangan dan kesenjangan akses teknologi yang ada antara wilayah perkotaan dan pedesaan, serta keterbatasan dalam pengembangan kurikulum yang memadukan kedua aspek tersebut. Dengan menerapkan metode tinjauan pustaka, studi ini mengkaji berbagai literatur untuk memahami dampak kepemimpinan pendidikan terhadap kebijakan integrasi teknologi dan permasalahan yang dihadapi. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan pendidikan memainkan peran kunci dalam merumuskan kebijakan yang memadukan teknologi dengan kearifan lokal, meskipun masih terdapat kesenjangan signifikan dalam akses teknologi dan hambatan dalam pengembangan kurikulum. Rekomendasi yang diusulkan meliputi pengembangan kebijakan yang lebih inklusif, peningkatan investasi dalam infrastruktur teknologi, penyediaan pelatihan yang efektif bagi guru, serta penguatan kolaborasi dengan komunitas lokal untuk menciptakan kurikulum yang tidak hanya relevan tetapi juga mendukung pelestarian budaya lokal. Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan kunci utama untuk membuka wawasan dunia dan mencapai kebebasan, seiring dengan perkembangan zaman dan teknologi. Perubahan signifikan yang dialami lembaga pendidikan baru-baru ini adalah hasil dari adaptasi terhadap kemajuan teknologi dan modernisasi masyarakat. Institusi pendidikan yang tidak mampu beradaptasi dengan perkembangan ini berisiko tertinggal. Dalam konteks ini, peran kepemimpinan dalam pendidikan menjadi semakin penting. Kepemimpinan pendidikan melibatkan pengembangan potensi individu dan komunitas sekolah untuk mencapai tujuan pendidikan yang lebih tinggi. Kepala sekolah, sebagai pemimpin, memainkan peran krusial dalam memandu proses ini. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan visioner seorang kepala sekolah berdampak langsung terhadap mutu pendidikan dengan memberikan arahan yang jelas kepada guru sehingga meningkatkan kinerja dan produktivitas. Penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya strategi kepemimpinan visioner untuk meningkatkan mutu pendidikan dan menguraikan perubahan positif yang terjadi seiring dengan peningkatan tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode perpustakaan dengan mengumpulkan sumber referensi terkait masalah yang diteliti. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan memahami dan mengambil materi dasar hingga aspek-aspek penting Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan kualitas pendidikan bergantung pada kepemimpinan kepala sekolah yang visioner. Pemimpin sekolah yang visioner dapat merancang dan menerapkan perubahan strategis, meningkatkan kinerja sekolah dan guru, serta menghadapi tantangan pendidikan melalui inovasi. Hal ini menumbuhkan partisipasi aktif komunitas sekolah, sehingga sekolah mencapai standar kualitas pendidikan yang lebih tinggi dan berpengaruh positif pada prestasi akademik siswa.   Kata Kunci : Kepemimpinan, Visioner, Perubahan, Mutu Pendidikan

Abstract

The quality of education is a big challenge in the education sector in Indonesia, both at the higher education level and primary and secondary schools. The leadership of the school principal is important in improving the quality of educational management. The aim of this research is to find out how the leadership role of school principals can improve the management of educational quality. The research method used is a quantitative approach and data collection through library research. The findings in this research indicate that the way school leaders act professionally has both positive and negative impacts on teachers, counselors and other academic staff. This study also shows that the quality of education is closely related to the leadership responsibilities of school principals and the administrative organization, which is responsive to the educational needs of regional and municipal councils. To improve the quality of education, school leaders must focus on the small things, because these things are often overlooked, even though they have a big impact on progress. Abstract

The lack of social skills and cooperation of the children contributes to internalization problems among the children. Children who tend to behave individually, have difficulties getting along with others, aggressive and difficult to control, are included in this category. According to study conducted at KB Al Mardhiyyah, social skills of the students were still problematic. It was found that students had a lack of self-awareness when it came to apologizing to and forgiving friends, and that they had no sense of responsibility or concern for their fellow friends. This observation led the researcher to develop ideas, suggestions, or plans for conducting classroom action research. The purpose of this Classroom Action Research (CAR) was to improve children's social skills and cooperation through activities such as a dragon snake game. In this study, 35 students were included as subjects of the study. Classroom Action Research was carried out in two cycles. In each cycle, there were four steps: planning, action, observation, and reflection. Based on the results of this study, we concluded that learning through dragon snake game improved social skills and cooperative of the students at KB Al Mardhiyyah Sungai Pinang Samarinda, as seen from the comparison of observations made prior to the action/pre-cycle, cycle 1 and cycle II. The results of these influences can be seen from the success indicators, which reached 77.42% from the previous success percentage of just 52.86 Keywords: social skills, cooperation, dragon snake game

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menjelaskan pengaruh signifikan pendidikan karyawan dan pelatihan karyawan terhadap kinerja karyawan, mengetahui dan menjelaskan pengaruh pendidikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, mengetahui dan menjelaskan pengaruh pelatihan karyawan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Jenis penelitian adalah Explanatory dengan dua variabel independen yang terdiri dari pelatihan karyawan (X1) dan pendidikan karyawan (X2) serta variabel bebas kinerja karyawan (Y). Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif penelitian explementasi riset dengan tujuan untuk menguji hipotesis yang telah di tetapkan.1 Populasi dan sampel dalam penelitian ini yaitu karyawan PT.Bumi Sarana Beton (kalla grup)di kota Makassar yang berjumlah 100 karyawan dengan responden 50 karyawan. Hasil pengujian hipotesis telah membuktikan variable pelatihan karyawan berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan di PT.Bumi Sarana Beton (Kalla Grup) di kota Makassar. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil perhitungan yang telah dilakukan diperoleh nilai R Squar 0,325 dengan nilai koefisien sebesar 0,247 dan nilai t hitung sebesar 2.296 dengan taraf signifikan hasil sebesar 0,026 tersebut lebih kecil dari 0,05 yang berarti bahwa hipotesis dalam penelitian ini di terima.

Abstract

This research was motivated because there were students who were less independent in learning at SD Negeri 020 North Samarinda such as lack of discipline in learning, where sometimes students were noisy and did not listen to material explanations from when studying in class, lack of confidence and lack of sense of responsibility to complete tasks. Research is useful in describing the learning independence of grade V students at SD Negeri 020 North Samarinda for the 2022/202 learning year. Subject collection techniques apply purposive sampling and data analysis starting from the process of collecting data, determining data, presenting data, and formulating conclusions. The type of triangulation used is source triangulation. The results revealed that the independence of students in learning in grade V SD Negeri 020 North Samarinda developed quite well and was classified as quite good, where students already had independence and applied independence in the learning process both in the school and home environment on 5 indicators of student learning independence, namely confidence, responsibility, discipline in learning, motivation in learning as well as being active.
