Abstract

Kegiatan seminar pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengenalkan konsep digital branding dalam upaya menggali dan mengoptimalkan potensi Desa Wisata Kertarahayu, Setu, Bekasi. Dengan semakin berkembangnya teknologi digital, strategi branding berbasis digital menjadi penting dalam meningkatkan daya tarik dan daya saing suatu destinasi wisata. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dalam bentuk seminar yang diikuti oleh karang taruna dan perangkat desa wisata Kertarahayu, dengan materi yang berfokus pada pemanfaatan Digital branding media sosial, pembuatan konten kreatif, serta strategi pemasaran digital. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi melalui kuesioner yang dibagikan kepada peserta di akhir kegiatan, diperoleh data bahwa seminar berjalan dengan baik dan lancar. Seluruh peserta dengan jumlah sebanyak 25 orang menunjukkan tingkat kepuasan yang tinggi, dengan 100% responden menyatakan bahwa penyampaian materi sangat bermanfaat dan mudah dipahami dan mudah menjalani dalam praktiknya. Keberhasilan kegiatan ini juga didukung oleh kontribusi mitra yang menyediakan sarana dan prasarana, seperti LCD, layar proyektor, serta souvenir bagi peserta. Dengan adanya seminar pengabdian masyarakat, diharapkan karang taruna dan pengelola Desa Kertarahayu dapat menerapkan strategi digital branding secara efektif untuk meningkatkan daya tarik desa wisata, memperluas jangkauan promosi, serta mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi berbasis pariwisata secara berkelanjutan

Abstract

The level of health education in rural communities, particularly regarding the use of medication and the utilization of herbal remedies, remains relatively low. Children, as the next generation, play a strategic role in disseminating health information within their families. This Community Service Program (KKN) was carried out over three days, from December 12 to 14, 2024, in Banjarsari Village, Ciawi Subdistrict, Bogor Regency. The program aimed to enhance health education for elementary school students through the Junior Pharmacist program, as well as for the general public through health screenings and herbal juice preparation training as an alternative to promote a healthy lifestyle. The methods included interactive educational sessions with pre- and post-tests, blood pressure, blood glucose, and cholesterol screenings, as well as practical training in herbal processing. The results showed a significant increase in students’ understanding of the pharmacist profession, rising from 40% to 90% after the intervention. Health screenings identified previously undiagnosed cases of hypertension and hypercholesterolemia. In addition, the herbal juice training featuring garlic, lemon, ginger, honey, and apple cider vinegar received positive feedback from residents as an alternative health solution. This activity not only improved knowledge but also raised community awareness regarding the importance of a healthy lifestyle and rational use of medicine. Community-based education and empowerment proved effective in fostering health awareness from an early age.

Abstract

Democracy and authoritarianism represent two contrasting systems of governance. Since the Reform Era and the fall of President Soeharto’s New Order regime, public discourse in Indonesia has consistently focused on strengthening democratic values and preventing the resurgence of authoritarian practices. Despite the progress made, Indonesia is still regarded as a democracy in development, with several persistent issues undermining its democratic framework. These challenges include widespread corruption, the repression and criminalization of political opposition, limited judicial independence, socioeconomic disparities, and the exploitation of identity politics, issues that have continued into President Joko Widodo’s second term. In light of these concerns, this educational outreach program has been designed. It targets eleventh-grade students, who represent a group of first-time voters in the upcoming election. The goal is to provide these students with the critical skills needed to assess the policy platforms of electoral candidates. The program will be delivered through a combination of lectures, interactive discussions, and post-session assessments. The intended outcome is to enhance students’ awareness of the significance of democratic values, encourage resistance to authoritarian tendencies, and promote informed, principle-based voting behavior.

Abstract

To improve the digital skills of teachers in KKG Malabiri, a community service program was held, focusing on the use of Google Form and Canva in creating interactive assessment and learning materials. Through a one-day intensive training, 56 elementary school teachers from Minasatene District, Pangkajene Islands Regency, managed to show a significant increase in their understanding, as evidenced by an increase in the average score from 42.1 to 80.9. This program confirms the effectiveness of hands-on training in equipping teachers with relevant digital skills. Through the community service program, teachers in KKG Malabiri received intensive training in the use of Google Form and Canva, which aims to improve their ability to create interactive assessment and learning media. The training, which involved 56 elementary school teachers from Minasatene District, Pangkajene Islands Regency, managed to significantly improve their understanding, with an increase in the average score from 42.1 to 80.9

Abstract

Ecopreneurship programs for university students are a strategic approach to fostering entrepreneurial spirit with a focus on environmental sustainability. This initiative integrates urban farming practices with green business innovation by utilizing unused campus land for cultivating productive crops. Through stages of identification, collaboration, training, implementation, and monitoring, the program enhances ecological awareness, entrepreneurial skills, and the development of partnership networks with various stakeholders, including government agencies and conservation communities. In addition to contributing to environmental conservation and local food security, this activity also strengthens the role of educational institutions in supporting the sustainable development agenda. The results of its implementation indicate that urban farming ecopreneurship has significant potential to be replicated and developed as an innovative and contextual learning model with integrated social, economic, and ecological impacts

Abstract

Remaja yang tinggal di panti asuhan menghadapi tantangan psikologis yang kompleks, seperti kurangnya dukungan emosional, keterbatasan kasih sayang dari keluarga inti, dan pengalaman traumatis di masa lalu. Hal ini dapat mengganggu kesejahteraan psikologis mereka. Kegiatan Peace Within: Mindfulness and Healing Session dirancang sebagai bentuk pengabdian masyarakat untuk mendukung kesehatan mental remaja panti melalui pendekatan psikoedukatif berbasis partisipatif. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 15 Juni 2025, berlangsung sejak pukul 08.00 wib sampai dengan 15.00 wib. Aktifitas secara tatap muka di Panti Asuhan LKSA Muhammadiyah Bandung dan melibatkan 50 peserta remaja usia 15 – 20 tahun. Metode yang digunakan mencakup penyuluhan tentang mindfulness, praktik teknik relaksasi seperti deeo breathing, visual imagery, dan self talk, serta sesi konseling kelompok. Hasil kegiatan menunjukan bahwa peserta mengikuti dengan antusias, mengalami penurunan ketegangan emosional, serta menunjukan peningkatan kesadaran diri dan penerimaan terhadap diri sendiri. Suasana yang suportif dan interaktif juga mendorong peserta untuk terbuka, menjalin koneksi sosial, dan merasa dihargai. Dengan demikian, kegiatan ini terbukti sebagai intervensi sederhana namun efektif untuk memperkuat kesejahteraan psikologis remaja panti, dan berpotensi direplikasi di berbagai lembaga sosial lainnya.

Abstract

The digital transformation of rural areas has become a national priority to improve public service efficiency and strengthen technology-based village governance. This community service program aimed to enhance the digital infrastructure of Neglasari Village, Darmaraja District, Sumedang Regency, through the implementation of an RT/RW-Net network and training on the utilization of a Smart Village application. The program involved the deployment of RT/RW-Net as the village’s digital backbone, the development of a web-based Smart Village application using the PHP Laravel framework and MySQL database, and structured training sessions for village officials, administrators, operators, and residents. The training adopted participatory and hands-on methods covering network configuration and maintenance, operation of digital administrative services such as online letter requests and complaint management, and integration of population data.The results indicate that the RT/RW-Net infrastructure operated reliably and supported the optimal performance of the Smart Village application. Training activities significantly improved the technical capacity of village officials and operators, enabling independent management of the network and application. Residents also began utilizing digital services for administrative needs, complaints, and access to population information, leading to more efficient, effective, and transparent public services. This initiative demonstrates that the integration of localized digital infrastructure and practice-oriented capacity building can serve as a sustainable and scalable model for accelerating digital transformation in rural communities. Future development should focus on expanding application features, strengthening digital literacy, and promoting data-driven village governance.

Abstract

KKN Group 9 from Bhayangkara University Jakarta Raya carried out its program in Srimukti Village, Tambun Utara Subdistrict, Bekasi Regency, an area with development potential but challenged by poor environmental hygiene and a lack of public facilities. The work programs included education on waste management using the 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) concept, distribution of trash bins, community clean-up activities, installation of street name signs, a coloring competition for children, and the construction of a low-smoke waste incinerator. An educational and participatory approach was employed to increase community awareness and involvement. The results showed improved public awareness regarding environmental cleanliness, better area organization through signage, and enhanced children's creativity through competitions. Students also gained valuable experience in community interaction, leadership, and implementing local solutions. This program was considered effective in promoting a cleaner, more organized, and empowered village through collaboration between students and residents.

Abstract

This Community Service Program (Program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat/PMP) for the 2025 funding year was conducted at the Sumber Jaya Krangan Waste Bank, Bekasi, with the aim of improving digital financial literacy and plastic waste processing skills among waste bank managers and members. The main problems faced by the partner included manual financial transaction recording, limited understanding of digital-based financial management, and insufficient skills in processing plastic waste into economically valuable products. The program employed a participatory training approach consisting of (1) digital financial recording training using a simple Excel Macro-based template, (2) training on processing plastic bags into handicraft products, and (3) mentoring on basic marketing of recycled products. Program evaluation was carried out through pre-tests, post-tests, and observation of participants’ competencies and product outputs. The results showed that approximately 80% of participants experienced improvements in their understanding and skills in digital financial recording and were able to produce recycled products suitable for introduction within the local community. These outcomes indicate that waste bank managers have begun to manage administrative activities and waste processing in a more structured manner. This improvement represents an initial step toward strengthening the role of waste banks as sustainable community-based economic units

Abstract

This community service program aims to enhance the understanding and tax compliance of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) as an effort to support local economic growth in Bekasi City. The program was implemented using a combination of lecture-based material, hands-on practice, and interactive discussions, focusing on the comprehension of Income Tax regulations, ownership of Tax Identification Numbers (NPWP), and obligations for filing Annual Tax Returns (SPT). The results showed that the 30 participants demonstrated very high enthusiasm and a significant improvement in tax literacy and fiscal awareness, as evidenced by the post-test evaluation. According to the post-test data, the average participant score increased from 65% in the pre-test to 85% after the program. Additionally, participants showed a better understanding of the importance of proper financial record-keeping as a foundation for fulfilling tax obligations and implementing sustainable business governance practices. Overall, this program had a constructive impact on improving the awareness and tax compliance of MSME actors. The findings indicate that sustained collaboration among academics, local government, and tax authorities is essential. Follow-up programs, such as MSME tax clinics, regular mentoring, and the development of practice-based training modules, are recommended to systematically support the improvement of tax compliance in Bekasi City.
