This Journal publishes current original research on psychology sciences using an interdisciplinary perspective, especially within Organitational and Industrial Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Educational Psychology, and Experimental Psychology Studies. PSIKOBORNEO : Jurnal Ilmiah Psikologi published regularly quarterly in March, June, September, and December. The purpose of this journal is to disseminate ideas and results of research conducted by universities, particularly Psychology Studies, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences at Mulawarman University, which can be applied in society. PSIKOBORNEO : Jurnal Ilmiah Psikologi contains a variety of activities carried out both internally by the Social Sciences Mulawarman University or from externally in handling and overcoming various problems that occur in society by applying science and technology which can then be beneficial to improve the welfare of the society.

Abstract

Companies must prioritize work safety as the main thing to create a safe and healthy work environment. The research conducted has the aim of knowing the role of safety climate as a predictor of safety behavior through safety knowledge as a mediating variable. The method used is a convenient sampling technique. The number of respondents was 154 workers. The research instrument used a safety behavior scale created by Neal and Griffin, safety climate measured using (LSCAT) compiled by Cox and Cheyne, safety knowledge scale compiled by Vinodkumar and Bhasi. To analyze the data using classical assumptions, namely, Kolmogorov-smirnov normality test, linearity test and heteroscedasticity test and hypothesis testing, namely mediation regression analysis technique. The results of the direct effects test of the safety climate variable on safety behavior show a significant effect with a significance level of 0.006 which indicates a significant influence between safety climate and safety behavior, besides that the indirect effects between safety climate and safety behavior through mediation of safety knowledge have a significance level of 0.004, meaning that there is a mediating role between safety climate and safety behavior through safety knowledge. PT X is expected to maintain and improve safety behavior with a safety climate that supports the work safety program and can also design a more effective safety training program that suits the needs of workers.Perusahaan harus memprioritaskan keselamatan kerja sebagai hal utama untuk menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang aman dan sehat. Penelitian yang dilakukan ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui peran safety climate sebagai prediktor safety behavior melalui safety knowledge sebagai variabel mediasi. Metode yang digunakan yaitu teknik convenient sampling. Jumlah responden sebanyak 154 pekerja. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan safety behavior scale yang dibuat oleh Neal dan Griffin, safety climate diukur dengan menggunakan (LSCAT) yang disusun oleh Cox dan Cheyne, skala safety knowledge yang disusun oleh Vinodkumar dan Bhasi. Untuk menganalisis data menggunakan asumsi klasik yaitu, uji normalitas Kolmogorov-smirnov, uji linearlitas dan uji heteroskedastisitas serta uji hipotesis yaitu teknik mediation regression analysis. Hasil uji direct effects variabel safety climate terhadap safety behavior menunjukan pengaruh yang signifikan dengan taraf siginifikansi 0,006 yang menunjukan adanya pengaruh signifikan antara safety climate dengan safety behavior, selain itu pengaruh indirect effects antara safety climate dan safety behavior melalui mediasi safety knowledge memiliki taraf signifikansi sebesar 0.004 artinya ada peran mediasi antara safety climate dengan safety behavior melalui safety knowledge. PT X diharapkan dapat mempertahankan serta meningkatkan perilaku keselamatan (safety behavior) dengan iklim keselamatan (safety climate) yang mendukung program keselamatan kerja, selain itu juga dapat merancang proram pelatihan keselamatan kerja yang lebih efektif yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan pekerja.

Abstract

The New Normal era post COVID-19 pandemic has an impact on the change of teaching learning system become online. Various kinds of challenges arise during online learning become adversity. The adversity of online learning made students stressed and put them at risk of academic failure, such repeated classes or dropping out. This situation may reduce the participation rate of compulsory education students, particularly in the secondary level. However, many studies have proven that students who are at risk of academic failure due to various factors of difficulty can succeed because they have a capacity called resilience. This research aims to explore and describe the resilience of students during online learning. This research uses a qualitative approach with secondary school’s students’ participants. A total of 4 students participated in this research and data was collected through online semi-structured interviews. The interview guide regarding resilience was developed from Reivich Shatte resilience theory. The interview results were analyzed based on themes. This research describes the resilience of secondary school’s students who doing online learning by 5 capacities of 7 aspects of resilience: emotion regulation, impulse control, causal analysis, empathy and reaching out in carrying out challenging online learning activities. However, the students still lack two other aspects which are realistic optimism and self-efficacy. The result of this research provides information to teachers in schools about the aspects of student which need to be improved aiming to make them resilient while doing online learning.Era Kebiasaan Baru (New Normal) paska pandemi COVID-19 berdampak pada perubahan cara belajar mengajar menjadi sistem pembelajaran jarak jauh secara daring. Berbagai macam tantangan dalam belajar daring muncul menjadi kesulitan. Kesulitan belajar daring dapat membuat murid stres dan berisiko gagal secara akademik, seperti tidak naik kelas bahkan putus sekolah. Keadaan tersebut dapat menurunkan angka partisipasi peserta didik wajib belajar terutama di tingkat SMP. Namun demikian, banyak studi yang membuktikan murid yang berisiko gagal secara akademik karena beragam faktor kesulitan dapat berhasil karena memiliki kapasitas yang disebut resiliensi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran resiliensi murid yang belajar daring. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan responden penelitian adalah murid SMP. Sebanyak 4 narasumber berpartisipasi dalam penelitian ini. Pengambilan data dilakukan melalui wawancara semi terstruktur secara online. Adapun panduan wawancara mengenai resiliensi dikembangkan dari teori resiliensi Reivich-Shatte. Hasil wawancara di analisa berdasarkan tema. Penelitian ini menggambarkan resiliensi yang dimiliki oleh siswa SMP yang melakukan pembelajaran daring ditunjukkan dengan 5 kemampuan dari 7 aspek resiliensi yaitu emotion regulation, impuls control, causal analysis, emphaty dan reaching-out dalam menjalani kegiatan belajar daring yang menantang. Namun demikian, 2 aspek lainnya yaitu realistic optisme dan self-efficacy kurang dimiliki oleh narasumber. Hasil penelitian ini memberikan informasi kepada guru di sekolah mengenai aspek diri murid apa saja yang perlu dipertahankan dan yang harus ditingkatkan agar menjadi lebih resilien ketika melakukan pembelajaran daring.

Abstract

When children enter the education stage in secondary school, that is when children enter adolescence where they are looking for their identity by trying new things that they have not encountered before. At this stage the school environment will further develop their thinking patterns and further expand the child's social life. Low self-esteem in students results in them not believing that they are able to do what their parents and teachers expect of them. Low self-esteem, showing avoidant behavior. This study aims to explore the relationship between self-esteem and academic achievement among high school students in Muara Teweh. During adolescence, the school environment and self-esteem play crucial roles in shaping students' identities and academic performance. Previous research has highlighted that low self-esteem can hinder optimal academic achievement. Through a survey of 60 high school students, data were collected using questionnaires to measure self-esteem and academic performance. The results indicate a relationship between self-esteem and academic achievement, although the correlation between them tends to be weak. These findings underscore the importance of attention to both variables in the educational context. Schools and educational communities are encouraged to pay attention to the complex dynamics between self-esteem and academic achievement to create a supportive learning environment for students' development. Students are also encouraged to strengthen their self-confidence in understanding subject matter and taking on new challenges. The implication of this research is that it can be a learning medium and consideration in making policies in the field of education. It is necessary to pay attention to the contribution of other variables in supporting and encouraging student academic achievement at school, such as self-efficacy variables and student learning independence.Saat anak memasuki tahap pendidikan di sekolah menengah, saat itulah  anak memasuki  masa  remaja  dimana mereka  sedang  mencari  jati  dirinya dengan mencoba hal-hal baru yang belum  ditemui  sebelumnya. Pada  tahap  ini  lingkungan sekolah akan lebih mengembangkan pola pikir mereka dan lebih memperluas  kehidupan sosial  anak. Rendahnya self esteem pada diri siswa/i mengakibatkan mereka tidak percaya bahwa mereka mampu melakukan apa yang diharapkan orangtua dan guru kepada mereka. Rendahnya self esteem, memperlihatkan perilaku menghindar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi hubungan antara self-esteem dan prestasi belajar siswa SMA di Muara Teweh. Dalam tahap remaja, lingkungan sekolah dan kepuasan harga diri memainkan peran penting dalam pembentukan identitas diri dan prestasi belajar siswa. Penelitian sebelumnya menyoroti bahwa self-esteem yang rendah dapat menjadi hambatan dalam pencapaian prestasi belajar yang optimal. Melalui survei terhadap 60 siswa SMA, data dikumpulkan menggunakan angket untuk mengukur self-esteem dan prestasi belajar. Hasil menunjukkan adanya hubungan antara self-esteem dan prestasi belajar, meskipun korelasi antara keduanya cenderung lemah. Temuan ini menggarisbawahi pentingnya perhatian terhadap kedua variabel ini dalam konteks pendidikan. Sekolah dan komunitas pendidikan diharapkan dapat memperhatikan dinamika kompleks antara self-esteem dan prestasi belajar untuk menciptakan lingkungan pendidikan yang mendukung perkembangan siswa. Siswa juga didorong untuk memperkuat keyakinan diri mereka dalam memahami materi pelajaran dan mengambil tantangan baru. Implikasi dari penerlitian ini  yaitu dapat menjadi media pembelajaran dan pertimbangan dalam mengambil kebijakan dalam bidang pendidikan. Perlu diperhatikan kontribusi variabel lainnya dalam mendukung dan mendorong prestasi akademik siswa di sekolah seperti variabel self efficacy dan kemandirian belajar pada siswa.

Abstract

Human potential that can be developed can increase productivity and employee performance. The amount of commitment to a company influences the success of an employee's performance. Some of the phenomena found in employees who study at Buana Perjuangan University, Karawang, are the difficulty of managing their schedule between study and work, physical fatigue, and having to hide their identity as a student at their place of work. This research examines how much influence work-life balance has on organizational commitment among Buana Perjuangan University Karawang students who study while working. Participants in this research were 319 students studying while working. The research instrument used was the organizational commitment scale consisting of 24 items as the dependent variable and the work-life balance scale consisting of 17 items as the independent variable. The sampling technique used was quota sampling. The data analysis technique in this research uses simple linear regression analysis with the help of the SPSS statistics 25 program. Based on the results of the hypothesis test, a significance value of 0.004 <0.05 is obtained, which means work-life balance has a positive influence on organizational commitment, with an R square value of 0.708, which means that the influence contributed by the work-life balance variable on organizational commitment is 70.8% and the remaining 29.2% is influenced by other variables. This means that there is a relationship between the work-life balance variable and organizational commitment. The higher the work-life balance, the higher the level of commitment to the organization.Potensi manusia yang dapat dikembangkan mampu meningkatkan hasil keproduktifan juga kinerja karyawan. Besar komitmen terhadap sebuah perusahaan mempengaruhi keberhasilan kinerja seorang karyawan. Beberapa fenomena yang terdapat pada karyawan yang kuliah di Universitas Buana Perjuangan Karawang yaitu sulitnya mengatur jadwal antara kuliah dan bekerja, kelelahan fisik, serta harus menyembunyikan identitasnya sebagai mahasiswa di tempatnya bekerja. Penelitian ini menguji seberapa besar pengaruh work-life balance terhadap komitmen organisasi pada mahasiswa Universitas Buana Perjuangan Karawang yang kuliah sambil bekerja. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa yang kuliah sambil bekerja berjumlah 319 orang. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah skala komitmen organisasi yang terdiri dari 24 aitem sebagai variabel dependen dan skala work-life balance yang terdiri dari 17 aitem sebagai variabel independen. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah quota sampling. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi linear sederhana dengan bantuan program SPSS statistic 25. Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis didapatkan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,004 < 0,05 yang berarti work-life balance memiliki pengaruh yang positif terhadap komitmen organisasi, dengan nilai R square sebesar 0.708 yang berarti pengaruh yang disumbangkan variabel work-life balance terhadap komitmen organisasi sebesar 70,8% dan sisanya sebesar 29.2% dipengaruhi oleh variabel-variabel lain. Artinya terdapat hubungan antara variabel work-life balance dan komitmen organisasi. Semakin tinggi work-life balance maka semakin tinggi tingkat komitmen terhadap organisasi.

Abstract

The pre-reading ability is a fundamental skill that must be mastered to improve reading skills. Learning to read requires an understanding of symbols and theoretical comprehension, thus requiring strong imagination and memory. The learning process can be challenging to be quickly grasped by mildly intellectually disabled children with learning disabilities. Although the cognitive abilities of mildly intellectually disabled children may be slow, they can still be gradually developed with an effective learning process, such as the read-aloud method, to make children comfortable with reading activities, thus facilitating the gradual acceptance of pre-reading learning. This research aims to determine the influence of the read-aloud method on pre-reading abilities in mildly intellectually disabled children at SLB-C Autis Pelita Hati Palembang. The research method used is experimental quantitative. Sample selection is done using purposive sampling technique, with a sample size of 6 mildly intellectually disabled students. Data collection methods include interviews, observations, questionnaires, and measurements using a modified pre-reading ability assessment test assessed using the Guttman scale. The design used in this research is a repeated treatment design with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The data analysis technique used is the paired sample t-test. The hypothesis testing results show t = -18.634 and p = 0.000, indicating that p < 0.05, which means the hypothesis is accepted. This indicates that there is a difference between the pre-test and post-test results after the read aloud treatment, meaning that reading aloud influences the pre-reading abilities of children with mild hearing impairments.Kemampuan pra-membaca merupakan hal dasar yang harus dikuasai untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca. Dalam pembelajaran membaca membutuhkan pemahaman simbol dan pemahaman secara teoritis, sehingga membutuhkan daya imajinasi dan daya ingat yang kuat. Proses pembelajaran tersebut sulit untuk cepat diterima bagi anak tungarahita ringan yang memiliki keterbatasan intelektual. Meskipun kemampuan dalam berpikir anak tunagrahita ringan lambat, namun masih dapat dikembangkan secara perlahan dengan proses pembelajaran yang efektif yaitu dengan metode read aloud agar anak nyaman dengan kegiatan membaca sehingga perlahan proses belajar pra-membaca dapat mudah diterima. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh read aloud terhadap kemampuan pra-membaca pada anak tunagrahita ringan di SLB-C Autis Pelita Hati Palembang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode kuantitatif eksperimental. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel 6 siswa tunagrahita. Metode pengumpuan data melalui wawancara, observasi, angket dan alat ukur berupa modifikasi tes asesmen kemampuan pra-membaca dengan cara penilaian menggunakan skala guttman. Desain yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah desain perlakukan ulang dengan one group pretest-posttest design. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji paired sample t-test. Hasil pengujian hipotesis menunjukkan t = -18,634 dan p = 0,000 sehingga p< 0,05 yang berarti hipotesis diterima. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil pre-test dan post-test setelah treatment read aloud yang artinya read loud memiliki pengaruh terhadap kemampuan pra-membaca pada anak tungarhita ringan.

Abstract

The increasingly rapid development of organizational culture encourages companies to create competitive products by innovating. The important role of innovation for companies causes companies to demand the contribution of adaptive and creative human resources through innovative work behavior. This study aims to determine the relationship between job autonomy and innovative work behavior. This research method uses a quantitative approach. The subjects of this study were 139 employees of PT. Pupuk Kalimantan Timur and selected using a simple random sampling technique. The data collection method used is the scale of innovative work behavior and job autonomy. The data collected was analyzed with Kendall’s tau-b analysis test. The result of this research show that there is a significant positive correlation between job autonomy and innovative work behavior of employess in PT. Pupuk Kalimantan Timur (r = 0.494; p < 0.05 which means that the higher the job autonomy, the higher the innovative work behavior produced. The practical implication in this research is that through job autonomy which will produce innovative work behavior in employees, it will have an impact on the company in the form of competitive advantage and facing sustainable developments in the global market.Perkembangan budaya organisasi yang semakin cepat mendorong perusahaan untuk menciptakan produk yang bersaing dengan cara berinovasi. Pentingnya peran inovasi bagi perusahaan menyebabkan perusahaan menuntut kontribusi sumber daya manusia yang adaptif dan kreatif melalui perilaku kerja inovatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan otonomi kerja dan perilaku kerja inovatif. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 139 karyawan PT. Pupuk Kalimantan Timur dan dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah dengan skala perilaku kerja inovatif dan skala otonomi kerja. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis menggunakan uji analisis Kendall’s tau-b. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara otonomi kerja dengan perilaku kerja inovatif pada karyawan PT. Pupuk Kalimantan Timur (r = 0.494; p < 0.05) yang berarti bahwa semakin tinggi otonomi kerja, maka akan semakin tinggi pula perilaku kerja inovatif yang dihasilkan. Implikasi praktis dalam penelitian ini adalah melalui otonomi kerja yang akan menghasilkan perilaku kerja inovatif pada karyawan akan memberikan dampak pada perusahaan berupa keunggulan dalam bersaing dan menghadapi perkembangan berkelanjutan di pasar global.

Abstract

The worsening climate conditions in Indonesia has pushed numerous companies to transform themselves to become a green company that aims to preserve the environment through their daily operations. Through Social Exchange Theory, employee green behavior is found to increase employee self-satisfaction, which in turn will enhance their well-being. This research is done to examine the relationship between employee green behavior (EGB) and employee well-being (EWB) among one of green company employees. This quantitative, non-experimental research involved 104 employees from one of the green company. This research utilized the Employee Green Behavior questionnaire developed based on The Green Five Taxonomy to measure EGB, as well as the Employee Well-Being questionnaire to measure EWB. Both are self-report questionnaires. The results of this research indicate a significant positive relationship between employee green behavior (p=0.01, r=0.300) and employee well-being among employees. Additionally, the study also reveals significant differences in employee green behavior and employee well-being between gender groups. This suggests the need for more comprehensive research to further two related variables.Kondisi iklim yang kian memburuk telah direspon oleh berbagai macam perusahaan di Indonesia sebagai suatu panggilan untuk melakukan perubahan, yaitu dengan bertransformasi menjadi sebuah green company yang memang bertujuan melestarikan lingkungan melalui aktivitas operasionalnya sehari-hari. Melalui teori pertukaran sosial, perilaku ramah lingkungan ditemukan dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan karyawan tersebut. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan mengetahui hubungan antara employee green behavior (EGB) dan employee well-being (EWB) pada karyawan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif non-eksperimental dan melibatkan 104 salah satu perusahaan yang mengusung green company. Peneliti menggunakan alat ukur Employee Green Behavior yang dikembangkan berdasarkan The Green Five Taxonomy untuk mengukur EGB, serta alat ukur Employee Well-Being untuk mengukur EWB. Kedua penelitian bersifat self-report questionnaire. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif yang signifikan antara EGB (p=0,01, r=0,300) dengan EWB pada karyawan. Penelitian ini juga menunjukkan adanya perbedaan EGB dan EWB yang signifikan antara kelompok jenis kelamin. Artinya, dibutuhkan adanya penelitian lebih komprehensif untuk melihat lebih dalam kedua variabel ini.

Abstract

Smoking behavior has become a hot topic of conversation because it is very common, especially among teenagers. Smoking behavior can have negative impacts such as health, social, psychological and economic problems. It can trigger criminal acts for smokers who do not yet have an income such as teenagers. This study aims to reveal the relationship between personal fable and smoking behavior in junior high school male teenagers who smoke. The method in this study uses quantitative correlation with 110 junior high school male teenagers who smoke as research subjects, the research sample was taken using a simple random sampling technique with a 5% error rate, This study uses a measuring instrument from a smoking behavior scale with a total of 49 valid items with a validity value of 0.325 and a reliability value of 0.908 and a personal fable scale with a total of 50 valid items with a validity value of 0.330 and a reliability value of 0.911. The results of this study indicate a significant positive correlation between personal fable and smoking behavior in junior high school male teenagers who smoke at a level of 35%. The practical implication of this study is that personal fable has an effective role in triggering smoking behavior in junior high school-level male adolescents, so adolescents are advised to be smart in making decisions related to behavior and socializing because the influence of the environment and peers also plays a major role in the behaviors that adolescents develop.Perilaku merokok menjadi marak pembicaraan karena sudah sangat lumrah dilakukan terlebih di kalangan remaja. Perilaku merokok dapat memberikan dampak negatif seperti permasalahan kesehatan, sosial, psikologis dan ekonomi. Mampu terpicunya tindakan kriminal bagi pelaku merokok yang belum memiliki penghasilan seperti kalangan remaja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap hubungan yang ada dari personal fable dengan perilaku merokok pada remaja laki-laki setingkat SMP yang merokok. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan kuantitatif korelasi dengan 110 remaja laki-laki setingkat SMP yang merokok sebagai subjek penelitian, sampel peneitian diambil dengan teknik simple random sampling dengan taraf kesalahan 5%, Penelitian ini menggunakan alat ukur dari skala perilaku merokok dengan jumlah 49 aitem valid dengan nilai validitas 0.325 dan nilai reliabilitas 0.908 dan skala personal fable dengan jumlah 50 aitem valid dengan nilai validitas 0.330 dan nilai reliabilitas 0.911. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan korelasi positif yang signifikan antara personal fable dengan perilaku merokok pada remaja laki-laki setingkat SMP yang merokok dengan taraf 35%. Implikasi praktis dalam penelitian ini adalah personal fable memiliki peran efektif dalam memunculkan perilaku merokok remaja laki-laki setingkat SMP, sehingga remaja disarankan dapat cerdas dalam mengambil keputusan terkait dengan perilaku dan bersosial karena pengaruh dari lingkungan dan teman sebaya juga berperan besar bagi perilaku-perilaku yang ditimbulkan remaja.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has clearly had a negative effect on society, one of which is the number of workers who have been laid off and most of them are parents who have to maintain their families economically, starting from the cost of their children's education, household needs, and daily needs. Therefore, resilience is needed for every family in facing this pandemic. This study aims to describe and analyze family resilience in the presence of parents who are victims of layoffs during the COVID-19 pandemic. This research uses a qualitative approach with data collection in the form of observation and in-depth interviews. The subjects in this study were three parents in a family who work as factory laborers who experienced layoffs during the COVID-19 pandemic. Parents who have children aged 6-15 years, and live together with their respective spouses. All participants live in Sidoarjo, Indonesia. The results showed that every family in which there are parents who are victims of layoffs has defense strategies in dealing with the pandemic, such as finding other jobs that can be done during the pandemic, managing household finances, doing activities that have a positive impact on the family, and increasing gratitude. This research is expected to provide practical solutions to the problems of families whose parents are victims of layoffs and can survive the pandemic.Masa pandemi COVID-19 jelas mengakibatkan efek negatif di kalangan masyarakat, salah satunya adalah banyaknya pekerja yang menjadi korban PHK dan sebagian besar merupakan orang tua yang harus mempertahankan keluarganya secara ekonomi, dari mulai biaya pendidikan anaknya, kebutuhan rumah tangganya, dan kebutuhan sehari-harinya. Maka dari itu, resiliensi sangatlah diperlukan bagi setiap keluarga dalam menghadapi masa pandemi ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis resiliensi keluarga dengan adanya orang tua yang menjadi korban PHK di masa pandemi COVID-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data berupa observasi dan wawancara mendalam (in-depth interview).  Subjek dalam penelitian ini merupakan tiga dari orang tua dalam keluarga yang berprofesi sebagai pekerja buruh pabrik yang mengalami PHK pada masa pandemi COVID-19. Orang tua yang memiliki anak usia 6-15 tahun, dan tinggal bersama dengan pasangannya masing-masing. Seluruh partisipan berdomisili di Sidoarjo, Indonesia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa setiap keluarga yang didalamnya terdapat orang tua yang menjadi korban PHK memiliki strategi pertahanan dalam menghadapi masa pandemi, seperti mencari pekerjaan lain yang bisa dilakukan di masa pandemi, mengelola keuangan rumah tangga, melakukan kegiatan yang berdampak positif bagi keluarganya, dan meningkatkan rasa syukur.   Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan solusi praktis terhadap permasalahan keluarga yang orang tuanya menjadi korban PHK dan mampu bertahan di masa pandemi.

Abstract

Vote buying activities that often occur close to general election contestations can influence the views of novice voters on politics in Indonesia, one of which is political beliefs. Therefore, this research aims to determine the relationship between political trust and vote buying attitude which was carried out using a correlational quantitative approach. The subjects used in the research were 347 novice voters in Palembang City who were obtained using a purposive sampling technique. The data was measured using the Political Trust Scale from Akhrani (2016), the Vote Buying Scale from Sumantri (2021). Data analysis in this research uses Pearson Product Moment correlation. The results of this study show that there is no relationship between political trust and vote buying attitude (r=-0.009, n=347, p=0.868). This means that there is no significant relationship between the two variables studied. Future research is expected to examine other variables that can influence political trust.Kegiatan vote buying yang sering terjadi mendekati kontestasi pemilihan umum dapat mempengaruhi pandangan pemilih pemula terhadap perpolitikan di Indonesia salahsatunya terhadap kepercayaan politik. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan political trust dan vote buying attitude yang dilakukan menggunkan pendekatan kuantitatif korelasional. Subyek dalam penelitian yang digunakan adalah 347 pemilih pemula di Kota Palembang yang diperoleh dengan teknik purposive sampling. Data yang diukur menggunakan Skala Polotical Trust dari Akhrani (2016), Skala Vote Buying dari Sumantri (2021). Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan korelasi Pearson Product Moment. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan tidak adanya hubungan antara political trust dengan vote buying attitude (r=-0,009, n=347, p=0.868). Hal ini bermakna bahwa tidak adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara kedua variabel yang diteliti. Penelitian selanjutnya diharapkan untuk meneliti variabel lain yang dapat mempengaruhi political trust.
