Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the implementation of English competency tests in work skills education programs at LKP Cororado English Course Bengkulu City. This research is a qualitative research with as many as three research subjects and data collection techniques using interview, observation and documentation techniques. While data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Checking the validity of the data using triangulation ranging from time triangulation, subject triangulation and technique triangulation. The results showed that the implementation of the competency test went well and in accordance with existing procedures, had adequate supporting facilities and facilities. However, the number of competency test participants who get incompetent results is due to several factors, namely the training carried out does not refer to graduate competency standards, design of learning implementation and syllabus. The training method only studies examples of existing problems. In addition, the training schedule is too tight and does not reach the minimum number of training hours, which is 144 hours. Keywords: Implementation, Competency Test, English

Abstract

The aim of this research were: (1) to know the empowering society planning program by the village staff (2) to know the activity of empowering society done by the village staff (3) to know the effort of filling the competence aspect on the empowering society activity (4) to know the innovative effort which was done by the village staff in order to increase the quality of empowering society activity. The research method was qualitative method with descriptive approach. The participants of this research were Mr. Jamali as the headman, Mrs. Titing Alfera Roza, S.Pd as the secretary, Ms.Septi Andriani as the head of youth organization and Mrs. Linda Dewi as the one of Tengah padang village members. The data collection technique used non-participant observation, structured interview, and documentation. The data analysis technique used Miles and Huberman analysis mode, which was consist of the data reduction, data presentation, and drawling conclusion. On behalf of examining the validity and reliability of the data, the researcher used triangulation on the source, technique, and time. Based on the analysis, the village staff had done the effort to empower the society in Tengah Padang village, Talang Empat Sub-District, Central Bengkulu Regency such as arranging the empowering society planning program. The planning activities were PKK coaching, sport activity, art activity, religious activity, English and computer course. The village staff did the location and socialization selection, the empowering fund got from ADD. The support factor was the high of society participation, on the other hand the minimum facility was the inhibit factor. In order to fill the competence aspect, the village staff searched the speaker who appropriate with the education background. The innovative effort was planning the new activity such as making the bag from the strap. Then there was the directly checking by the village staff with observing the activity. Key Words: Effort, The Village Staff, Empowering Society

Abstract

Based on the results of the study and discussion, the conclusions are drawn : first, cooperative “Mitra Abadi Group” to increase quality of the members with the training. Second, the effort to increase incomes of members instill soul self-employed and devide the result of this, 50% to members 50% is gave ti cooperative. Third, the manager also face the problem is less capital, meanwhile supporting factors is charateristics of the settelment profitable. The writer hope is this research can become reference ti cooperative manager “Mitra Abadi Group” so that can serve again people. Key words : Increasing incomes, Cooperative

Abstract

Proses pelaksanaan kegiatan Majelis Taklim Permata. tujuan penelitian ini secara umum adalah untuk mengetahui Peran Manajemen Majelis Taklim Dalam Meningkatkan Keberadaan Majelis Taklim Permata. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data yaitu wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian meliputi ketua Majelis Taklim Permata, sekretaris Majelis Taklim Permata, tutor Majelis Taklim Permata, anggota Majelis Taklim Permata. Untuk membuktikan keabsahan data, dilakukan pecekan data menggunakan triangulasi subjek, triangulasi waktu, dan trianggulasi teknik. Data dianalisis melalui tiga tahap yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Dari hasil penelitian, ditemukan bahwa bagaimana cara membina yang di lakukan Majelis Taklim Permata dengan cara melakukan pelatihan mandi mayat dan pemberian pengobatan gratis kepada lamsia. Motivating tutor dalam kegiatan Majelis Taklim Permata yaitu dengan cara pemberian dorpres hadiah kepada anggota Majelis Taklim setiap ada pertemuan, dengan memberi tahu pentingnya mendalami isi Al’Quran. penilaian, dalam peroses penilaian pertama di beri penjelasan tetntanp Al’Quran, kedua mengenalkan huruf Al’ Quran, ketiga mengajarkan membaca Al’Quran terakhir pada tahap penilaian kegiatan membaca Al’Quran dengan cara membaca Al’Quran sendiri-sendiri bergantian jika ada yang salah di beri tahu kesalahan di mana yang salah dan di perbaiki. Kata kunci : Peran, Manajemen Majelis Taklim

Abstract

Manajemen adalah kegiatan yang dilakukan oleh beberapa orang atau kelompok, yang dimulai dari perencanaan, pengorganisasian, penggerakan, pengendalian sampai dengan penilaian guna mencapai tujuan yang telah ditetapkan. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif.  Subjek data pada penelitian ini yaitu pengelola, intruktur, peserta didik rumah singgah Al-Hafidz.Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan Reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Teknik validitas data menggunakan teknik triangulasi. Hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa : Perencanaan pada program life skill meubel yaitu merencenakan rancangan pembelajaran. Pada Pelaksanaan sudah terlaksana sesuai dengan rancangan pembelajaran yang telah direncanakan. Dan pada Evaluasi , terkait dengan cara menerapkan ilmu keterampilan, cara kerja, dan produk yang dihasilkan. Perencanaan pada program life skill memperbaiki baca Al-Qur’an yaitu merencanakan jadwal pelaksanaan kegiatan life skill. Pada Pelaksanaan, terlaksana sesuai dengan jadwal kegiatan yang telah direncanakan. Dan pada Evaluasi, yang dievaluasi terkait dengan kedisiplinan, kehadiran, sikap dan perilaku serta cara menerapkan ilmu keterampilan yang telah didapat. Perencanaan pada program life skill otomotif yaitu merencanakan rancangan pemebelajaran tetapi tidak didukung oleh hasil studi dokumentasi. Pada Pelaksanaan, sudah terlaksana tetapi tidak didukung oleh arsip tentang jadwal pelaksanaan. Pada Evaluasi, terkait dengan cara kerja. Kata kunci : Manajemen, Program Life Skill

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe understanding by new students of nonformal education at Bengkulu University about nonformal education. As for the scope studied in this research was students understanding about the scope nonformal education which consist of understanding , characteristics , goals , roles, programs , institution and education facilities. Furthermore, reviewing the understanding of students at bengkulu university about the graduate competence and employment opportunity of S1 non formal education.  The design of this research was descriptive quantitatif research, this method carried out with the main goal to make an idea of situation objectively, the respondents of this research were new students of nonformal education study program at Bengkulu University. The result and discussion of this research that understanding of new students of nonformal study program at Bengkulu University about scope of informal education was high enough with percentage 69.4%, understanding about the graduate competence of S1 non formal education was sufficient with percentage 51% and understanding about employment opportunity of S1  non formal education was highwith percentage 67.5% Key words : understanding, students, nonformal education

Abstract

The objectives of this study were: (1) The purpose of this stady was to determine the learning objectives of sewing courses at level one in the Mayang Sari course Institusi in Bengkulu City (2) Knowing the source of learning sewing courses at level one at the Mayang Sari training institusi and city of Bengkulu (3) Knowing the sewing course learning strategy at level one at the Mayang Sari Course and  training institute in Bengkulu City (4) Know the learning media for sewing courses at level one at the Mayang Sari course and training institusi in Bengkulu (5) Know the evaluation of learning sewing courses at level one in the Mayang Sari training course institute in Bengkulu. The research method used is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach participants in the research were Ibu Sorehalela as the chairperson of the Mayang Sari training curriculum. Data collection techniques used were non-participant observation, structured, interviews, and documentation. To test the validity and reliability of the data using triangulation of sources, techniques and time. Based on the analysis that has been done that the management of sewing courses at the Mayang Sari training institute and courses in the city of  Bengkulu. (1) The goal of the sewing course is to improve the personal and social qualities of each individual learning, to provide a sense of security and comfort while learning to sew(2) learning resources at LKP mayang sari are assence of digital media, guidebooks and references from fellow sew (3) the sewing course learning strategies for LKP mayang are essentially giving the theory first to practice while the method used is discourse, discussion, practice and simulation methods (4) the media that we use for sewing classes in LKP mayang is essentially the set of them one computer, printer one unit,laptop 1 unit LCD 1 unit and has the means and infrastructure of a course room, office building, sewing machine and machine, (5) the evaluation for the sewing course is done with the written exam and the practice exam of participants learning to sew. Keywords: Implementation of the sewing course

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out empowerment and community programs in the Baitul Atieq Great Mosque which is a mosque with the Jami mosque's typology. This study refers to indicators of success according to the Decree of the Director General of Islamic Community Guidance in 2014 concerning Standards for Management of Mosque Management. This research is a qualitative case study with four research subjects and data collection techniques using interview, observation and documentation techniques. While data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Checking the validity of the data using triangulation ranging from time triangulation, subject triangulation and technique triangulation. The results showed that the community empowerment programs carried out at the Baitul Atieq Great Mosque covered the fields of education, da'wah, social and economic, besides the existing programs involved all parties and covered community needs. Keywords: Program, Empowerment, Mosque

Abstract

The aim of this research is to know the identifiation of society learning needs by the manager of LKP Lantern House Bengkulu in determining an english cource program. The method of this research was used qualitative approach with descriptive data. The collection of data was used with three of techniques by interview, observation, and documentation. The data analyse of this research was used by three of ways by reducting data, displaying data, and taking a result and verification. The result of this research have indicated that : (1)  The manager used steps of need assessment by collecting information, identifying for asymmetry, performance analyse, identifying for inhibiton and source, identifying for the student characteristic, identifying for the purpose, and determing the problem. (2) The manager used observation as the thecnique in identifying the society learning needs. (3)  The method used by the manager in identifying the society learning needs were promotion and communication approach. (4) The manager did not used a special model of assessment in identifying the society learning needs. (5) In determining the priority program, the manager used his self assumption by analysing need assessment to english. (6) In process of identifying the society learning needs, the manager found the inhibition factors in the field as well as intern factor ( lack of partners and financial) and extern factor (less of finding location for promotion and observation). (7) The supporting factors in process of identifying the society learning needs were as intern factor (optimist and capable in using IT) and extern factor (partner relation with any organization or community). The recomendation of this research is given to all of the institutions or the manager that before offering the learning or cource program must to identify the society learning needs previoulsy the program is offered suitable of the society needs. Key Words : Need Assessment, English Cource Program, and The Manager of LKP

Abstract

Due to the writer’s thoughtfulness and according to many case studies on school age children, when these kids are supposed to go to school, they go to work. Hence, the writer is interested to conduct this research. The aim of this study is to acknowledge the perception, expectation, and efforts of school age street singers on pursuing education in Kelurahan Kebun Keling, District of Teluk Segara, City of Bengkulu. Using qualitative approach, this study was purposefully utilized case study method. Participants consisted from 6 school age street singers; two of them are in elementary school level, two of them are in junior high school level, and the rest are in senior high school level. Data was obtained through depth interview, observation, and documentation techniques; in the end, there would be conclusion drawing. To validate the data, the writer uses triangulation method on subjects, techniques, and period. The result showed that the school age street singers agree on the importance of pursuing formal education. Their perception towards formal education is assuming that one should be easier to achieve their dream jobs through their knowledge gained from their previous education. In continuation, they expect to pursue higher education so that they could get a job effortlessly. However, they have not maximized their effort to pursue better education. These mainly occur because of financial and social factors. Key words: Perception, Expectation, Efforts, and Causal Factors
