Abstract

Pekalongan City Government continues to strive to improve good governance in maximizing the use of Information Technology, this is evidenced by the participation of the Pekalongan City Government in the Movement Towards 100 Smart City programs. One effort that can be made to optimize the use of information technology is the executive dashboard for monitoring RT / RW activities. In 2019, Pekalongan City has 340 RW and 1660 RT. The existence of this executive dashboard application can optimize the role of RT and RW and all information at the lower level can be obtained immediately, such as information on population data, submission of grants and assistance, and others. The information in the monitoring dashboard is the realtime data that currently exists. This research will make a dashboard monitoring RT / RW activities with a prototype model approach. The prototype model and Joint Application Development (JAD) are the most widely used models in creating executive dashboards. The research steps started from data collection, data analysis, application design, application development and testing. From the data collected, a functional and non-functional requirements analysis process was carried out. After that the application design process is carried out and conti nued with the design implementation in the application development process. Then from the results of the Alpha Test and Beta Test, the application can work according to functional and non-functional needs. In the future, this application prototype can be developed in conjunction with the One Data application in Dinas Komunikasi dan Informatikan (Diskominfo) Pekalongan City. Abstract

The city of Pekalongan is located on a low land, so there is a potential for floods every year. The efforts of the Pekalongan City government in overcoming floods are in the for m of making embankments, adding mangrove forests or through educating the community in protecting the environment. One of the existing problems is how to present data and information on flood area mapping and education to the community so that it can reduce existing victims. This research uses the Research and Development method, namely by collecting data on flood events, flood areas and flood impacts, evacuation facilities, public facilities and health and other support. From the results of the research carried out, it produces a geographic information system for web -based flood disaster mitigation and education where with this website it can be seen that flood and flood -prone areas, evacuation facilities, public facilities so that in the event of a flood d isaster can be given assistance quickly and precisely as needed, In addition, educational facilities are also produced to provide information and the impact of flooding. The purpose of this research is to help the Pekalongan city government in mitigating, educating and taking preventive action in dealing with flood disasters. Abstract

In early 2020, the world community was shocked by the emergence of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (Covid-19). Common signs and symptoms of Covid-19 infection include acute respiratory symptoms such as fever, cough and shortness of breath. Until now, a vaccine has not been found to prevent Covid-19, so prevention efforts are the first steps that can be taken to prevent the spread of Covid-19 infection. This study aims to obtain an overview of the Pekalongan community's knowledge about Covid-19 and describe an overview of public opinions regarding health promotion about Covid-19 carried out by the Primary Health Care (puskesmas). This research uses descriptive quantitative research methods with cross sectional design. The data collection method uses an online questionnaire via Google Form. Data collection was carried out on 7-10 June 2020. From the results of the study, it was found that most respondents (72%) had a good level of knowledge about Covid-19. Most of them (70%) received information about Covid-19 from online media, and 27% from TV. Most respondents (60%) have never received information about Covid-19 from the nearest puskesmas. Most of the respondents felt the need (32%) and very need (61%) for education about Covid-19 from the puskesmas. Most of the respondents (77%) expect the health promotion about Covid-19 from the puskesmas through health education by puskesmas officers. For the health sector, especially the Health Office (Dinas Kesehatan) through the local puskesmas, it is hoped that there will be health promotion activities about Covid-19 to the community through health education by puskesmas officers. Abstract

The development of technology demanded the teaching material to be designed digitally. This study was aimed to develop CEFR (Common European Framework) -standard Writing for Professional Context teaching material in the form of Pekalongan the world creative city e-module. Research and development (R &D) was used in conducting this research. Observasion sheet, questionnaire and interview were used to collect the data. The results showed that E-Model of Writing for professional context was needed by the students. Therefore, the researcher did a plan of developing an e-module. After it was designed, it was validated by the validators for getting the suggestion of the betterment. Finishing the validation process, next the e-module of Writing for Professional Context standardized by CEFR with the characteristic of Pekalongan the World Creative city was revised and published. The title of the e-modul is Let’s Write: Pekalongan the World Creative City. The texts types in this e-modul were written with their social functions, generic structure and linguistic. Abstract

The problem in the nursing profession in Indonesia is nurses still have not carried out the caring role professionally in providing nursing care to clients. In providing nursing care it is not uncommon to be a target of patient dissatisfaction. The quality or satisfaction of nursing service itself cannot be separated from the performance of nurses. The aim of this literature review to determine the correlation between caring attitude and nurse performance with satisfication of nursing services in the inpatient room. The literature review uses a narrative method. This research article was obtained from Google schoolar, portal garuda and journal PPNI by using inclusion and exclusion criteria. Keywords used in the search were nurse caring attitude, nurse performance, client satisfaction, and inpatient room. Based on 10 journals, it was found that a person's internal factors can affect their performance where the better of nurses caring behavior in nursing services to patients, the better of patient satisfaction level with nursing services. There are correlation of caring attitude and nurse’s performance with patient satisfaction in inpatient room. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of adding vitamin C in artificial feed and the optimum dose to the growth of snakehead fish seeds. The research method used was a completely randomized design with 4 treatments and 3 replications. The treatments used were: A (giving vitamin C at a dose of 50 mg/kg of feed), B (giving vitamin C at a dose of 100 mg/kg of feed), C (giving vitamin C at a dose of 150 mg/kg of feed), D ( giving vitamin C at a dose of 200 mg/kg of feed). The results showed that the highest average biomass growth was obtained in treatment D with a dose of vitamin C 200 mg/kg of feed, the increase in biomass reached 3.04 grams. While the lowest growth was obtained in treatment A with a dose of vitamin C 50 mg/kg of feed resulting in an average growth of 1.09 grams. The results of the analysis of variance on the growth of snakehead fish seed biomass showed that the calculated F value was greater than F table 1% and 5%. The range of water temperature during the study was between 27 -30 o C, water pH ranged from 7.4-7.6 and dissolved oxygen in water (DO) ranged from 4.2-4.9 mg/l. Abstract

Communication is a media in transferring idea between speaker and hearer. Oral communication often used by the speaker and hearer in achieving the aim of communication. Most of Indonesian people, included Pekalongan people are bilingual. They use Javanese language as their daily language. However, as Indonesian people, they also master and use Indonesian language in their conversation. Sometimes, they often mix Javanese and Indonesian in their conversation. It also happened in the conversation between seller and buyer in Pasar Grosir Setono Pekalongan. Most of the sellers came from Pekalongan. It means that in providing services for the buyer, sometimes the sellers combined Indonesian and Javanese language. They often inserted another language in their conversation. The aim of this research was to describe the form of code mixing used between seller and buyer in Pasar Grosir Setono Pekalongan. The research design used in this research was descriptive qualitative. The instrument was observation sheet. There are 15 sellers and 17 buyers used as the sample in this research. The technique of analyzing data used in this research were identification, classification and interpretation. The finding of this research shows the form of code mixing used by the sellers and buyers in Pasar Grosir Setono Pekalongan were from Javanese to Indonesian and Indonesian to Javanese. From those code mixing, there were the type of intra-sentential and intra-lexical used in their utterances. Based on the existing result, it is necessary to have language training in the field of marketing. It is used to improve the seller’s competence in speaking using Indonesian language and improve their confident to speak using Indonesian language. Keywords: Code mixing, conversation, bilingual

Abstract

Penyebaran virus Covid-19 mengakibatkan pembelajaran dilakukan secara online. Penggunaan media pembelajaran merupakan salah satu solusi yang digunakan guru dalam menyampaikan materi. Media yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah LKS dan video pembelajaran. Media dapat membantu siswa dalam mempermudah memahami materi yang diberikan oleh guru. Selain itu, media dapat menumbuhkan minat belajar siswa, sehingga kemampuan pemahaman matematis siswa menjadi lebih baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan WaG terhadap kemampuan pemahaman matematis siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimental. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 4 Pekalongan yang terdiri dari 7 kelas. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan cara random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui tes. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji t melalui SPSS. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran WaG berbantuan LKS dan video pembelajaran menghasilkan kemampuan pemahaman matematis yang lebih baik dibandingkan pembelajaran WaG berbasis tugas. Abstract

Batik as an Indonesian cultural heritage has been recognized by the world in 2009 by UNESCO. This recognition does not fully go hand in hand with the sustainability of batik business and culture in Pekalongan City, especially for business actors in the next generation. This condition is caused by the minimum wage of workers due to the inequality of the subcontracting system in the batik business. This study aims to identify social learning in the batik industry development. The extent to which social learning facilitates the development of batik with regional development. Qualitative methods were carried out for data collection by using in-depth interviews with key business actors in the batik industry chain in the City and Regency of Pekalongan which were selected purposively. The results show that social learning and innovative production processes are still limited with the involvement of the regeneration of young entrepreneurs. The challenges of the batik industry in rural areas depend on how entrepreneurs can enlarge their business net works. This business needs to be more adaptive in utilizing batik not only as an industrial commodity as it is but also processing it creatively as an attraction for Pekalongan City. Abstract

This paper identifies the needs of victims affected by tidal flooding. In addition, it explores people's expectations of government policies in resolving tidal floods. The research was conducted in Pekalongan City which includes four sub-districts. Data were obtained through observation, questionnaires, interviews, documentation, and Focus Group Discussions (FGD) . From the distribution of questionnaires obtained 100 respondents. The FGD was held by inviting government agencies in Pekalongan City and having involvement in the problem of tidal flooding. The results of the study show that the needs of the community affected by the tidal flood that must be met on a priority basis include: basic food needs, health needs, survival needs, spiritual and (religious) needs. From the results of the F GD, it was concluded that each agency had worked according to its duties. However, coordination and consolidation need to be improved.
