Abstract

This research aims to examine the relationship between entrepreneurship education, family experience, and students' entrepreneurial intentions, exploring the mediating role of the unemployment rate. Three theories were integrated into this study: Entrepreneurship Theory, Social Learning Theory, and Hidden Unemployment Theory. The study utilized a quantitative approach, employing structural equation modeling (SEM) and Partial Least Square (PLS) for analysis, as well as correlation analysis to examine relationships between variables. Non-probability sampling technique used is Purposive Sampling to determine the research sample. The study participants consisted of 100 college students in Bandung City, Indonesia, selected to complete an online questionnaire. The findings indicate that entrepreneurship education and family experience significantly and positively impact students' entrepreneurial intentions. Furthermore, the unemployment rate serves as a positive mediator in the relationship between entrepreneurship education and entrepreneurial intentions. Entrepreneurship education empowers individuals to create self-employment opportunities, reduces the unemployment rate, motivates students to pursue entrepreneurial paths, and shapes the entrepreneurship education curriculum to meet evolving market demands.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the effect of guided inquiry learning models assisted by student worksheets (LKPD) based on local wisdom on students' literacy skills. The research used a pre-experimental method with a design employing the one-group pretest-posttest design. The sample in this study consisted of 58 students from the 10th-grade science class at SMAN 1 Lembar. Instruments included tests and non-tests, with data analysis techniques such as LKPD validation analysis, N-gain, and hypothesis testing. The findings of this study indicated that the N-gain for class X MIPA 1 was 0.53 (moderate), while the N-gain for class X MIPA 2 was 0.57 (moderate). The t-test result yielded a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating that using the guided inquiry learning model assisted by LKPD based on local wisdom significantly affects the literacy skills of SMAN 1 Lembar students. Using local wisdom in science learning can make students feel more connected to the learning material because it is relevant to the context of their daily lives. It can increase their involvement in literacy activities in the learning process because more material is taught so that students can understand concepts better.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the interaction role of cognitive flexibility and teacher self-efficacy in teacher innovative behavior in the context of curriculum change in Indonesian schools. This study used a quantitative survey method. Three instruments were used, namely the Teacher Innovative Behavior Scale, the Cognitive Flexibility Inventory, and the Teachers’ Sense of Efficacy Scale. Data were collected from 322 teachers from three educational levels in Jabodetabek. Descriptive analyses, correlation analyses, and moderation analyses were conducted. The findings revealed that cognitive flexibility, as a whole construct, and each dimension (the control and alternative dimension), positively predicts teacher innovative behavior. Specifically, only the alternative dimension that significantly interacts with teacher self-efficacy positively predicts teacher innovative behavior. In other words, teacher self-efficacy is significant as a moderator. The findings highlight the importance of addressing cognitive flexibility and teacher self-efficacy, which were not extensively researched before, in enhancing teachers’ innovative behavior. Innovative behavior is crucial for teachers, especially in the current era of change.

Abstract

This study aims to adapt and examine the psychometric properties of the Multidimensional Teachers Resilience Scale Indonesia Version (MTRS-I). The study about teacher resilience in Indonesia is still limited and uses the general resilience scale. There is no measurement that is specific to teacher resilience that can be used. This study used a quantitative research approach with a cross-sectional design for adapting the Multidimensional Teachers Resilience Scale (MTRS). Participants were obtained by convenience sampling. A total of 408 teachers in Indonesia participated in this study. Data was collected through a survey method using Google Forms, distributed through social media and the nearest school whose teachers were willing to participate. Data was analyzed using confirmatory factor analysis to confirm the validity and internal consistency for reliability. The result demonstrated that MTRS-I has a good-fit model. All items have factor loading of greater than 0.6, which are well-defined factors. The reliability study showed good results, either for the total score or the score of each dimension. Therefore, MTRS-I had met adequate validity and reliability. There were 13 items which were divided into four dimensions, namely emotional resilience, motivational resilience, professional resilience, and social resilience. Thus, MTRS-I is beneficial to measure teacher resilience in Indonesia.
