Abstract

This research is motivated by the science learning process in grade VI of SDN Kepanjen 2 which is still teacher-centered and lacks the use of interesting learning media for students. This can have an impact on the low motivation and interest of students in learning, as well as their understanding of science materials. In addition, teachers also still have difficulty in developing innovative and interactive learning media, especially learning media based on articulated storyline 3. This development research aims to develop interactive learning media based on Articulated Storyline 3 (AS3) in science subjects at SDN Kepanjen 2 Jombang. This research uses the Research & Development (R&D) development model with an ADDIE design which consists of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. The results show that the interactive learning media based on AS3 developed is very feasible to use with a feasibility percentage of 95.29% based on the assessment of media experts, design experts, material experts, and peers. The results of trials on students show that this learning media is effective to use with an effectiveness percentage of 88.00% and the completeness of learning outcomes reaches 86.67%. Thus, interactive learning media based on AS3 in science subjects on the material of exploring the solar system is feasible and effective to use in learning in grade VI Elementary School.

Abstract

Mathematics is often perceived as an abstract subject by elementary school students, particularly when learning concepts such as odd and even numbers. This research aims to develop an interactive edugame titled “Gatot Kaca Berburu Bilangan” using Construct 2, an HTML5-based game engine, to enhance conceptual understanding among second-grade students. The development process follows the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation), involving expert validation, student trials, and quantitative testing. The game incorporates local cultural elements through the character Gatot Kaca, aligning with students' visual and kinesthetic learning styles. Validation from subject matter and media experts shows a high feasibility level, while trials reveal increased motivation, engagement, and significant improvements in student learning outcomes. A paired sample t-test indicates a statistically significant difference between pre-test and post-test scores (p < 0.05). Students demonstrated greater interest and enthusiasm, supporting the game’s effectiveness not only cognitively but also affectively and socially. This study concludes that edugames such as “Gatot Kaca Berburu Bilangan” can serve as innovative, culture-integrated learning media that effectively support early-grade mathematics education.

Abstract

The aim of this development is to produce a digital video learning media based on Artificial Intelligence for the intrinsic elements of short stories so that students can easily understand the material and learning is more interesting. In this development research, the development of short story learning media in the form of text into digital video was produced. The development of this learning media uses various Artificial Intelligence applications, namely ChatGBT, Google Docs, Leonardo, ElevenLabs, Capcut, and Canva. Artificial Intelligence-Based Digital Video Media with ADDIE Model for Intrinsic Elements of Short Stories has been refined based on expert validation data analysis and trial data analysis. The aspect that was improved was the development of animation by adding material explanations and adding questions according to the learning objectives placed in the close scene.Based on the results of the assessment given by material experts, design experts, and media experts on Artificial Intelligence-Based Digital Video Media with the ADDIE Model for the Intrinsic Elements of Short Stories, it is very feasible, meaning that the Development of Artificial Intelligence-Based Digital Video Media with the ADDIE Model for Intrinsic Elements of Short Stories has great potential to be applied in Indonesian learning, especially for the intrinsic elements of short stories. Based on the results of the assessment of the Artificial Intelligence-Based Digital Video Media trial with the ADDIE Model for the Intrinsic Elements of Short Stories given to Al-Islam Krian High School students, it means that this media is very feasible to be widely used in Indonesian language learning at the secondary education level.

Abstract

his study aims to examine the influence of Canva-based instructional media and learning motivation on the learning outcomes of fifth-grade elementary students in the topic of the human digestive system within the IPAS subject. The research adopts a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental method with a 2x2 factorial design and an ex post facto technique. The population consisted of fifth-grade students from SDN Kabuh. Data were collected through tests of learning outcomes and motivation questionnaires. The analysis showed that the use of Canva-based media had a significant effect on student achievement. Furthermore, learning motivation independently contributed to improved learning outcomes. The interaction between the two variables was also significant, indicating that high motivation strengthened the positive effect of Canva-based media. This research confirms the importance of integrating visual-digital tools with internal student factors to enhance science learning in elementary education

Abstract

This study aims to determine the interaction between the use of kahoot media and learning motivation on student learning outcomes in mathematics subjects at SMA Al Islam Krian. With the implementation of this research, it is hoped that it can have several benefits, such as the potential to produce valuable insights and expand insights in academic courses. Especially related to the use of information technology is the understanding of how learning motivation and the application of Kahoot affect student learning outcomes in mathematics subjects. The research paradigm used in this study is a quantitative approach. The experimental research design used was Quasi Experimental Design - Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The control class was only given treatment using power point, while the experimental class received treatment in the form of free variables, namely Kahoot application media (X) and learning outcomes (Y) were bound variables or variables that were changed in this study. The value of mathematics learning outcomes is considered to be influenced by the element of student learning motivation. Therefore, the researcher included a moderate variable (M), namely the student's motivation to learn. In this study, the research population is 431 students in class XI Special Class and Class XI Regular, then the research sample is students in class XI-4 (Special Class) as an experimental class totaling 36 students and class XI-10 (Regular Class) which is a control class of 36 students. The research instruments used were questionnaires and tests. Meanwhile, to analyze the data, the researcher used a 2-path annova analysis. Based on the results of the 2-path anova test, the significance value of interaction between learning media and learning motivation was 0.016 < 0.05 so that it can be interpreted that there is an interaction between kahoot learning media and student learning motivation on student learning outcomes

Abstract

The use of digital-based e-modules has become an important innovation in English language learning to effectively improve students' skills. This literature study examines various aspects of the development and application of multimodal and gamified e-modules that can improve reading and speaking skills. This research uses the semantic literature review method to analyze various literatures. Data collection is carried out through systematic searches in various academic databases, google scholar, sciencedirect, data analysis is carried out with a semantic analysis approach which includes theme identification, coding and categorization, literature synthesis, and interpretation of results. Research shows that interactive and engaging e-modules can facilitate independent and distance learning, and overcome the challenge of limited conventional learning resources. However, successful implementation requires training for teachers and provision of adequate technological infrastructure. In addition, innovative approaches such as multimodal and gamification are instrumental in increasing student engagement. Recommendations from this study emphasize the need for collaboration between the government, educational institutions and the community to optimize the use of digital technology in English language learning in order to improve the quality and effectiveness of the learning process in a sustainable manner

Abstract

Indonesian language proficiency among junior high school students is an essential component of academic development and effective communication; however, differences based on gender during early adolescence remain underexplored. This study aims to describe Indonesian language proficiency levels of junior high school students in Lampung Province based on gender using data from the Indonesian Language Proficiency Test (UKBI). A quantitative descriptive research design was employed, utilizing secondary data from 8,204 UKBI participants, consisting of 3,192 male students (38.91%) and 5,012 female students (61.09%). Language proficiency was measured through three UKBI sections: listening, responding to grammatical rules, and reading comprehension, with the final score obtained from the average of these sections. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistical techniques, including mean scores and standard deviation, to examine proficiency levels and score distributions by gender. The findings reveal that the overall Indonesian language proficiency of junior high school students in Lampung Province is at a moderate level. Female students consistently achieved higher average scores than male students across all sections. Reading comprehension emerged as the strongest skill area, while listening showed the lowest performance for both genders. The relatively low standard deviation values indicate that students’ scores tend to cluster around the mean. In conclusion, Indonesian language proficiency differs by gender, with female students demonstrating superior performance in listening, grammatical sensitivity, and reading comprehension. These results highlight the need for gender-responsive instructional strategies, particularly to strengthen listening and grammatical competencies among male students.

Abstract

This study aims to systematically review the development of poetry literature e-modules that integrate social analysis in literary learning, with a specific focus on the poem Pulang by Isbedy Stiawan Z.S. The research is motivated by the dominance of poetry e-modules that emphasize structural and aesthetic elements while neglecting the social realities and ideological contexts represented in literary texts. Using a descriptive qualitative approach with a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method, this study analyzed scholarly articles, theses, dissertations, and academic books related to e-module development, poetry learning, and social analysis in literature. Data were collected from national and international academic databases using predefined keywords and selection criteria. The findings reveal that most existing poetry e-modules focus on form-based appreciation, technological innovation, and local wisdom, but rarely integrate explicit social analysis addressing issues such as marginalization, poverty, and social inequality. This gap indicates the need for e-modules that position poetry as a medium for critical reflection and social awareness. Based on the review, this study proposes a conceptual direction for developing a poetry e-module on Pulang that integrates sociological and critical literacy approaches to enhance students’ social literacy, critical thinking, and cultural awareness. The study concludes that poetry e-modules grounded in social analysis are essential to support meaningful, contextual, and transformative literature learning aligned with 21st-century educational demands.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the contribution of the integration of local wisdom values in learning Social Studies (IPS) towards strengthening the character of Junior High School (SMP) students. In the midst of globalization and rapid technological development, local cultural values are often marginalized, even though they contain great potential in the formation of national character and identity. Through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach with thematic analysis of various studies from 2017-2025, this study found that the integration of local wisdom in social studies learning is able to instill values of mutual cooperation, tolerance, responsibility, and love for the country. The strategies used include contextual learning, local culture-based projects, and the development of teaching media relevant to the lives of surrounding communities. The role of the teacher is a key factor in internalizing these values through exemplary, collaboration with the community, and the application of the principles of the Pancasila Student Profile. The results also show that local wisdom-based learning increases student engagement, strengthens cultural identity, and encourages the formation of strong social and moral character. Thus, the integration of local cultural values in social studies learning not only functions as cultural preservation, but also as an effective strategy in shaping a young generation with character, noble character, and global competitiveness

Abstract

This study aims to develop a School Information Portal based on Google Sites to be used as a medium for school publication and promotion. The research utilizes the Research and Development (R&D) model with the ADDIE method, involving one design expert, one media expert, one content/material expert, and 30 respondents from SD Negeri Karangmojo 2, Jombang Regency. The instruments used include design validation, media validation, content/material validation, and auser satisfaction questionnaire for the portal. The results show that the validity percentages from the design expert, media expert, and content/material expert are 93.33%, 92.30%, and 90%, respectively.These findings indicate that: (1) The development of the School Information Portal based on Google Sites has proven effective in improving the quality of school publication and promotion media; (2) The portal meets the school's needs in delivering information efficiently and effectively; (3) The user satisfaction questionnaire results show that the level of user satisfaction with the school information portal is at a good/satisfied and very good/very satisfied level, with an average score range of 3.77 to 4.40. The development of the School Information Portal based on Google Sites has proven effective in enhancing the quality of media for school publication and promotion. This portal meets the school's needs for effective and efficient information dissemination.
