Abstract

The aims of this research are (1) to determine the concept of Strategic Thinking and Visioning leadership of the Principal at Asshiddiqiyah Garut Junior High School (SMP); (2) to determine the implementation of Strategic Thinking and Visioning leadership of the Principal at Asshiddiqiyah Garut Junior High School (SMP); (3) to determine the supporting and inhibiting factors for strategic thinking and visioning leadership of the principal at Asshiddiqiyah Garut Junior High School (SMP). This research method uses descriptive qualitative methods to describe, describe, explain, explain and answer questions. The subjects of this research were principals and teachers at Asshiddiqiyah Garut Junior High School (SMP). The results of this research are that strategic thinking and visioning leadership of school principals can analyze the challenges and opportunities faced by educational institutions, as well as identify concrete steps that need to be taken to achieve the vision and describe the ideal future picture of educational institutions at Asshiddiqiyah Middle School in Garut.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui 1) Kinerja guru bersertifikasi profesi di SMP Negeri 1 Padang Bolak Kabupaten  Padang Lawas Utara berdasarkan 4 kompetensi guru, 2) Tugas dan tanggung jawab Guru di SMP Negeri 1 Padang Bolak Kabupaten  Padang Lawas Utara dalam merancang perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengevaluasian pembelajaran dengan baik, dan 3) Dampak yang dihasilkan dalam peningkatan mutu sekolah oleh guru bersertifikasi profesi di SMP Negeri 1 Padang Bolak Kabupaten  Padang Lawas Utara. Metode penelitian yang digunakan ialah deskriptif kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data penelitian yaitu observasi dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) Kinerja dari 4 kompetensi guru ialah baik dalam kompetensi pedagogik, guru menguasai karakteristik siswa, menguasai teori belajar, prinsip‐prinsip pembelajaran yang mendidik, mengembangkan kurikulum, potensi peserta didik dan mengembangkan instrument penilaian. Kompetensi kepribadian, guru bertanggung jawab, disiplin, tidak suka marah, dan datang tepat waktu. Kompetensi sosial, guru bersikap inklusif, bertindak objektif, tidak diskriminatif dan bersahabat. Kompetensi professional, guru baik dalam menguasai materi, struktur, konsep dan pola pikir keilmuan, 2) Tugas dan tanggung jawab Guru di SMP Negeri 1 Padang Bolak Kabupaten Padang Lawas Utara dalam merancang perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengevaluasian pembelajaran ialah tugas guru yang dijalankan dengan sudah dilaksanakan dengan  baik dan difokuskan dengan penekanan yaitu pelaksanaan, perencanaan, dan tindak lanjut pembelajaran telah membawa hasil positif, seperti siswa mengikuti kegiatan olimpiade, dan 3) Dampak yang dihasilkan dalam peningkatan mutu sekolah oleh guru bersertifikasi profesi di SMP Negeri 1 Padang Bolak Kabupaten  Padang Lawas Utara ialah siswa yang berprestasi, kesejahteraan dan eksistensi guru dalam menciptakan lingkungan yang mendukung pembelajaran dan pengajaran berkualitas.

Abstract

Inclusive education is the implementation of equality in education. To support the implementation of inclusive education, the Mathematics Education Study Program at UIN Sunan Kalijaga makes inclusive one of its core values. This is a discrepancy model evaluation developed by Provus. Data was carried out through questionnaires, interviews, documentation, and observation. Based on the results, it can be concluded that the implementation of inclusive education is in the moderate category. This can be seen from the results of the questionnaire which shows the percentage reaching an average of 68.77%. In detail, the results for each indicator are 1) Vision, mission, goals, and strategy standards reached the very good category; 2) Graduate competency standards reached the moderate category; 3) Learning process standards reached the moderate category; 4) Learning assessment standards reached the moderate category; 5) Student Standards reached the moderate category; 6) Standards for lecturers and education personnel reached the moderate category; 7) Learning infrastructure standards reach the moderate category; 8) Learning financing standards reach the moderate category; and 9) Learning management standards reach the moderate category. Based on the existing findings, some of the main recommendations for the implementation of inclusive education in the Mathematics Education Study Program are to develop individualized learning programs that appropriate the needs of students with special needs, training for lecturers and student volunteers for the implementation of learning in inclusive classes, and the appointment of a coordinator in the implementation of inclusive education in the mathematics education study program.

Abstract

The low performance of teachers is one of the problems in education that can hinder the achievement of educational goals. This study aims to examine the influence of job satisfaction on teacher performance mediated by decision making. A quantitative approach with a survey method was used in this study. The respondents of this study were two hundred and twenty-six elementary school teachers in Sungai Penuh City who were civil servants. They were asked to fill out the Minnesota Satisfaction Questionnaire (MSQ), Decision Making Scale, and Job Performance Scale, which were modified from Employee Performance Assessment. The cause-effect relationships of the variables were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The research findings revealed that job satisfaction and decision making have an influence on teacher performance. Additionally, decision making also plays a significant mediating role in the relationship between job satisfaction and performance. The results of this study have several important implications for improving teacher performance. Efforts to develop good decision-making skills through training and coaching can help enhance teacher performance. School management needs to provide the necessary support and resources for teachers to make effective decisions.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to determine the execution of the current facilities and infrastructure management at SD N 2 Srikaton Adiluwih. The study methodology employed is qualitative, utilizing a descriptive approach. The research employs a data collection process that involves conducting interviews, making observations, and documenting information. The research and discussion indicate that the management of facilities and infrastructure at SD N 2 Srikaton. This theory encompasses five functions: 1) planning educational infrastructure needs, 2) procuring educational infrastructure, 3) maintaining educational infrastructure, 4) storing educational infrastructure, and 5) supervising educational infrastructure. Facilities and infrastructure management refers to the cooperative practice of optimally and proficiently employing all educational equipment. Managing educational buildings and infrastructure is a component of studying school administration or educational administration, and it is occasionally a responsibility of school principals who serve as school administrators. The administration of facilities and infrastructure at SD N 2 Srikaton Adiluwih has been completed, while there are still a few facilities and infrastructure that have not been provided, such as laboratory buildings and teaching aids.

Abstract

Adanya regrouping dari beberapa sekolah yang ada diangkatan bawah yaitu Sekolah Dasar memberikan dampak sekolah untuk berkompetisi, agar tetap bertahan survive terutama dalam hal Manajemen Penerimaan Peserta Didik Baru.Dalam hal ini metode yang digunakan yaitu dokumentasi, observasi, wawancara. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa dalam manajemen peserta didik baru dipengaruhi dari beberapa factor yang saling melengkapi, berhubungan untuk mencapai tujuan. Dalam mencapai tujuan tersebut yang dilakukan selain pembentukan tim, promosi, sdm yang sudah sesuai dengan standart, sarana prasarana yang cukup memadai juga adanya trust atau kepercayaan dari masyarakat itu sendiri, yang menjadikan motivasi masyarakat tersendiri untuk menyekolahkan anaknya di MIN 1 Kulon Progo.

Abstract

Kepuasan kerja sangat penting baik bagi individu maupun organisasi. Kepuasan kerja mendorong perilaku positif seperti produktif, disiplin, patuh, inovatif, suka menolong, mengendalikan perilaku negatif. Kepuasan kerja itu sendiri dipengaruhi oleh banyak faktor, antara lain iklim organisasi, etos kerja dan disiplin kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui 1) pengaruh etos kerja melalui iklim kerja terhadap kepuasan kerja di SMP Negeri Pakpak Bharat, 2) pengaruh disiplin kerja melalui iklim kerja terhadap kepuasan kerja di SMP Negeri Pakpak Bharat, dan 3) pengaruh etos kerja dan disiplin kerja melalui iklim kerja terhadap kepuasan kerja di SMP Negeri Pakpak Bharat. Sampel penelitian ini adalah guru di SMP Negeri Pakpak Bharat dengan sampel sebanyak 76 responden. Analisis data menggunakan metode regresi linear berganda dan menggunakan SPSS versi 23. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 1) variabel etos kerja (X1) berpengaruh positif dan signifikan melalui iklim kerja terhadap kepuasan kerja guru (Y) di SMP Negeri Pakpak Bharat, 2) variabel disiplin kerja (X2) berpengaruh positif dan signifikan melalui iklim kerja terhadap kepuasan kerja (Y) di SMP Negeri Pakpak Bharat, dan 3) variabel etos kerja, disiplin kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan melalui iklim kerja terhadap variabel kepuasan kerja di SMP Negeri Pakpak Bharat. Hasil uji koefisien determinasi variabel (X1) dan (X2) terdapat korelasi cukup kuat terhadap variabel (Y), sesuai hasil yang diperoleh yaitu R = 0,507 dapat disimpulkan bahwa variabel bebas (X) memiliki korelasi cukup kuat terhadap variabel terikat (Y) artinya memiliki kontribusi terhadap variabel kepuasan kerja guru (Y) Sebesar 52,7 % dan sisanya 47,3 dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain diluar pembahasan peneliti.

Abstract

This research highlights the importance of implementing educational supervision in private junior high schools, which often falls short of optimal. Findings from the analysis indicate that the role of the school principal in decision-making and teacher motivation significantly influences the implementation of educational supervision. The role of the school principal has an influence of 85.10%, while teacher motivation has an influence of 91.10%. Both factors collectively have a significant impact on the implementation of educational supervision in private junior high schools. The significant variability in the implementation of educational supervision is explained by the role of the school principal and teacher motivation, while other factors such as work motivation and work discipline also make important contributions.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the planning and implementation of the independent Adiwiyata School program at SMP Negeri 1 Tanjung Morawa based on the regulations of the Ministry of Environment. The research method utilizes interviews, observations, and documentation to collect data related to the planning of the PBLHS Movement activities (Adiwiyata Program). The results indicate the effectiveness of the planning that involves various aspects, such as policy development, environmentally-based curriculum, and participatory environmentally-based activities, as well as the management of environmentally friendly school facilities. Active participation of all stakeholders, including the school principal, educators, school committee, students, and the community, in the development of the PBLHS Movement Plan reflects comprehensive involvement. The integration of this plan into the Lesson Implementation Plan (RPP) and the School Activity and Budget Plan (RKAS) demonstrates financial commitment to the program. The research also highlights the implementation of the School Environmental Behavior Program (PRLH), which includes cleanliness activities, waste management, tree planting, water and energy conservation, as well as creative waste-based innovations. Although the program involves the entire school community and the public, the evaluation indicates that the implementation has not reached an optimal level. Supervision and program evaluation are conducted through internal and external monitoring, with the involvement of all stakeholders. Although the management of the Adiwiyata school is considered effective, the evaluation still has the potential for improvement to achieve more optimal results. The positive findings of this research provide a comprehensive overview of the implementation of the Adiwiyata program at SMP Negeri 1 Tanjung Morawa, while highlighting areas for improvement that can be applied to enhance the effectiveness of the program in the future.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine students' understanding of Besmart Elearning-based learning, student preparation in participating in Besmart Elearning-based learning and the obstacles experienced by students in implementing Besmart Elearning-based learning. This research approach is qualitative using data collection techniques through interviews and literature studies. The results of the study show that students' understanding of Besmart Elearning in Pancasila education courses has the same view that learning is effective, efficient and that learning materials are systematically arranged, so that students can easily understand and access them. Preparation of students in taking part in besmart elearning-based learning must have mature readiness, both in terms of technology and media components in the form of computers, laptops and adequate internet access. Besides that, prepare yourself with fresh and consistent intentions, hearts, minds. Students also prepare learning resources in learning. The obstacles experienced by students are that students have very diverse obstacles. Constraints on the unsupported internet network and server down because the database server is overloaded due to the large number of users accessing it and the signal is not supported. The rest of the electronic-based learning (Besmart Elearning) in Pancasila education courses is easily accessible to students.
