Abstract

This study aims to determine the principal's management model in developing teachers' professional competence at Nur Adia Tanjung Selamat Junior High School in Deli Serdang, with a qualitative research type. The method of collecting data is observation, interviews and documentation and uses data analysis techniques of data collection, data reduction and conclusions. The results showed that the principal's management planning model in developing teachers' professional competence was involved in a formal strategy which was planned and implemented at SMP Nur Adia Tanjung Selamat including leadership as an educator leadership manager and principal as a leader. The implementation of Principal Management must be right on target with the division of labour that has been determined. Related to teacher competence at SMP Nur Adia Tanjung Selamat. Evaluating the principal encourages teachers to be creative and innovative by taking several approaches to teachers and staff teachers who are at SMP Nur Adia Tanjung Selamat. The evaluation carried out is to make approaches by familiarising themselves with the teacher, for example visiting the teacher's room.

Abstract

Based on the problems that occurred in research entitled "The Influence of Parental Harmony on the Spiritual Growth of Adolescents aged (15-17 years) at the Simalungun Protestant Christian Church (GKPS)" East Siantar, Jalan Siantar Timur, Siopat Suhu Village, East Siantar District, Pematang Siantar, North Sumatra. A church synod that is Lutheran and is also a member of the PGI. The type and method of research used is quantitative research with descriptive methods. After carrying out a data normality test on data X and data Y as one of the requirements for the following data analysis, it turns out that data X and data Y each have a normal distribution. Data normality testing has been carried out using the Chi Square (X²) table formula with a real level = 0.05, namely for data This means that data X (Harmony of Parents in the Family) is in a normal distribution or data X comes from a normal distribution. For Y data (Teenager Spiritual Growth at GKPS Namorambe) 〖Y²〗_count = -29.738 while 〖Y²〗_tabel= 9.49 means that Y data (Teenager Spiritual Growth at East Siantar GKPS) is in a normal distribution or Y data comes from a distributed sample normal. a new template / format as well as a manuscript / article template used for journalwriting published in the Journal of Management of Elementary, Middle and Higher Education.The manuscript begins with the Article Title, Author Name, Author Affiliation Address and email correspondence followed by a 200-250 word abstract. Especially for Abstract, the text is written with a left margin of 3.5 cm, a right margin of 2.5 cm, top and bottom 2.5 cm each with a font size of Size 10 pt and the fonts of Times New Roman, Bold and one spacing between lines. Abstracts are made in Indonesian or English. If the article is in English, then the abstract must be written in English only. The Abstract section must contain the core of the problem to be presented, the method of solving it, and the scientific findings obtained and the conclusions. Abstracts for each language may only be written in one paragraph with one column format.

Abstract

This research aims to discuss humanistic academic supervision of school principals in fostering teacher professionalism. This paper was written using a literature review by choosing a narrative review model. The narrative review approach compares data from various journals that have been analyzed and summarized based on the author's experience, relevant theories and models. Analytical descriptive methods are used by collecting, identifying, compiling and analyzing various available data. The results of the research show that the use of humanistic academic supervision can improve teacher performance in carrying out tasks at school, and ultimately can improve student learning achievement.

Abstract

Manajemen merupakan proses perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pengarahan, dan pengawasan sumber daya dalam bentuk finansial, manusia, serta informasi suatu organisasi untuk mencapai sasarannya. Seperti yang tertuang pada definisi manajemen, terdapat empat kegiatan yang membentuk proses manajemen yaitu perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pengarahan, dan pengawasan. Dalam ilmu manajemen memiliki beberapa substansi, salah satunya adalah manajemen pendidikan yaitu serangkaian kegiatan merencanakan, mengorganisasikan, memotivasi, mengendalikan, dan mengembangkan segala upaya di dalam mengatur dan mendayagunakan sumber manusia, sarana dan prasarana untuk mencapai tujuan pendidikan secara efektif, efisien, dan produktif. Dalam manajemen pendidikan memiliki substansi juga, salah satunya adalah manajamen peserta didik yakni wahana bagi peserta didik untuk mengembangkan diri seoptimal mungkin, baik yang berkenaan dengan segi-segi individualitasnya, segi sosialnya, segi aspirasinya, segi kebutuhannya dan segi potensi peserta didik lainnya. Dalam hal memanajamen peserta didik untuk meningkatkan prestasi non-akademik yang dilakukan oleh Bidang Mutu Pendidikan Dinas Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Kabupaten Sidoarjo. Prestasi non akademik adalah prestasi yang diperoleh sebagai hasil dari pencapaiannya diluar dari nilai mata pelajaran yang telah ditetapkan di sekolah atau suatu prestasi yang didapatkan diluar kelas. Upaya mengembangkan prestasi non akademik itu dengan mengadakan sebuah kegiatan ajang kreasi peserta didik dan ajang kreativitas peserta didik dalam membuat sebuah konten literasi digital di era teknologi yang pesat ini. Sebuah program kegiatan yang dilaksanakan adalah Sidoarjo Student Talent dan Festival Literasi Sidoarjo tahun 2023. Kegiatan tersebut dapat membantu dalam membina serta mengembangkan minat dan bakat peserta didik juga agar dapat meraih sebuah prestasi non-akademik. Dengan mengikuti kegiatan tersebut para peserta didik mendapatkan pengalaman yang berbeda, unik dan menarik.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to Find out the performance of schools in implementing Independent Learning at SMP Negeri 5 One Roof Sitellu Tali Urang Jehe Pakpak Bharat, and Knowing the Obstacles to School Performance in Implementing Freedom of Learning at SMP Negeri 5 One Roof Sitellu Tali Urang Jehe Pakpak Bharat. 3) Knowing the Solution to Overcoming School Performance in the Implementation of Independent Learning at SMP Negeri 5 One Roof Sitellu Tali Urang Jehe Pakpak Bharat. The research method is a qualitative. The data analysis technique in this research is qualitative data analysis. Data collection techniques using interviews, documentation and observation. The results of this research are: 1) The school's performance in implementing the Independent Learning curriculum at SMP Negeri 5 One Roof Sitellu Tali Urang Jehe Pakpak Bharat has not been optimal because some teachers have not been able to adapt to the Independent Learning curriculum, teaching modules are available but the implementation of differentiated learning has not been found even though the school principal has designed all socialization activities, teachers have also implemented the Independent Learning curriculum at school. 2) Obstacles to school performance in implementing the Merdeka curriculum for learning at SMP Negeri 5 One Roof Sitellu Tali Urang Jehe Pakpak Bharat are incomplete facilities and infrastructure, then a lack of socialization and assistance to the Merdeka curriculum for teachers, then a lack of teacher pedagogical ability in implementing the curriculum Freedom to learn, especially related to P5. The solution to overcoming school performance in the implementation of Freedom to Learn at SMP Negeri 5 One Roof Sitellu Tali Urang Jehe Pakpak Bharat is that teachers must be united and motivate themselves to further upgrade their abilities, teachers need training, assistance with the Merdeka learning curriculum and facilities and Infrastructure needs to be equipped so that the teaching and learning process runs well.

Abstract

An educational institution must engage in marketing as it becomes mandatory. An educational institution's marketing function should be implemented with the intention of improving the institution's reputation and attracting new students. Social media plays a significant part in marketing as a networking platform. This is due to the potential communication function of social media. Therefore, an educational institution must implement a marketing strategy to keep and pique the attention of parents and the community by implementing a digital-based marketing strategy through social media. The goal of this study is to investigate and evaluate social media-based digital marketing methods for educational institutions at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Raudhatul Islamiyah. This study used a qualitative approach combined with a descriptive analysis technique. direct interviews with important parties, including teachers, school officials, and social media managers. The study's findings demonstrate that social media in the forms of Facebook, Instagram, and Youtube are utilized to promote educational institutions at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Raudhatul Islamiyah. Whereas Whatsapp is used to answer questions from guardians and prospective student guardians which is used as a medium to communicate directly in order to register prospective students via online.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the most effective classroom management strategies for improving the psychological wellness of students, with particular emphasis on techniques that involve technological integration and relationships. The main focus of contemporary learning has shifted to the integration of management strategies to improve students' psychological wellness holistically, rendering this study's conclusion of paramount significance. Utilizing a qualitative descriptive methodology, information can be collected through techniques for collecting information from observations, and documentation, including the ones. After gathering information, evaluation uses triangulation information to ensure information accuracy and reliability. The research findings indicate that this matters most to provide an empowering and nurturing learning environment, conduct social-emotional learning programs, provide stress and anxiety relief, and use technology to improve the psychological well-being of pupils. One of this study's advantages is to provide more insight into the best practices. This study aims to provide more understanding of the best practices for classroom management that can improve students' overall well-being or provide the basis for future research into better teaching methods including policies.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peran sistem informasi manajemen (SIM) dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah literatur review dengan pendekatan analisis kualitatif. Data yang dikumpulkan meliputi artikel-artikel ilmiah dari berbagai jurnal terakreditasi terkait dengan SIM dan mutu pendidikan. Kemudian analisis data dilakukan dengan membaca, menganalisis, mengidentifikasi, dan menyimpulkan artikel-artikel yang berkaitan dengan SIM dan mutu pendidikan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan SIM telah berjalan dengan baik di berbagai lembaga pendidikan. Implementasi SIM melalui penggunaan aplikasi pengelolaan data seperti Dapodik dan teknologi informasi mendukung proses pembelajaran, meningkatkan efektivitas dan efisiensi dalam pengumpulan data pendidikan, serta memfasilitasi praktik pembelajaran yang memanfaatkan infrastruktur teknologi. Dalam analisis, ditemukan bahwa model sistem informasi universal memungkinkan diperolehnya hasil evaluasi yang objektif, memungkinkan penyesuaian parameter kriteria dan kompleksitas evaluasi, serta penentuan nilai parameter dan tingkat kepentingannya. Selain itu, penerapan sistem informasi manajemen terpadu membantu dalam pengambilan keputusan untuk meningkatkan kualitas sekolah dan layanan pendidikan. Kesimpulan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa SIM memiliki peran penting dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan melalui pengelolaan data yang efektif, memfasilitasi praktik pembelajaran, dan meningkatkan efisiensi dalam pengumpulan dan pengolahan data. Dengan demikian, SIM dapat menjadi salah satu strategi untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan secara keseluruhan.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out: Management planning for the implementation of the independent learning curriculum at SMP Negeri 1 Sitellu Tali Urang Jehe Pakpak Bharat. Implementation of management of the implementation of the independent learning curriculum at SMP Negeri 1 Sitellu Tali Urang Jehe Pakpak Bharat and Evaluation of implementation management of the independent learning curriculum at SMP Negeri 1 Sitellu Tali Urang Jehe Pakpak Bharat.. This research method is qualitative research. Data collection was carried out by documentation, observation and interviews. Data analysis techniques use data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. The research results and conclusions are 1) Management planning for the implementation of the independent learning curriculum at SMP Negeri 1 Sitellu Tali Urang Jehe Pakpak Bharat has not been optimal, where thorough preparation starting from compiling teaching modules has not yet been done by a separate teacher, but the teacher already understands the learning outcomes, ATP, then assessment. Then the use of learning models is also not optimal because differentiated learning has not been implemented. Regarding teaching media and teaching materials, teachers have used them, however, this is not the work of the teachers themselves. 2) The implementation of the Independent Learning curriculum at SMPN 1 Sitellu Tali Urang Jehe means that the teacher has created a teaching module and understands the content in this teaching module, but the teaching module created by the teacher is not in accordance with the teacher's manual in hand. For learning media, teachers have used innovative video-based media, but the videos used are not their own work. Regarding the implementation learning model, some teachers have used innovative learning models, but some still use conventional models. 3) The evaluation carried out takes the form of supervision, where supervision is carried out by the school principal to evaluate the extent to which the implementation of the Merdeka curriculum is implemented. Then a work shop was also held, in the workshop also carried out evaluations for teacher progress. However, supervision is only carried out once per semester, and this is considered less effective in adapting to teacher needs in implementing the Merdeka Belajar curriculum.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of stakeholder empowerment (teachers, principals, students, and parents) in improving the quality of education at SMP Muhammadiyah 30 Sihepeng, Siabu District, Mandailing Natal. Using a qualitative approach and a case study form, the research involved all stakeholder components in SMP Muhammadiyah 30 Sihepeng. Data collection techniques are carried out through interviews and observations, by applying data triangulation techniques to minimize bias and test data validity. The results showed that the effectiveness of stakeholder empowerment is reflected through teachers' active participation in decision making, training and professional development, parental involvement, and community support. Supporting factors involve active teacher participation, professional development programs, parental involvement, and community support, while inhibiting factors consist of teacher nonparticipation, unavailability of resources, parental involvement, and resistance to change. Alternative problem-solving to improve the effectiveness of stakeholder empowerment includes increasing teacher participation through training and workshops, strengthening professional development programs, intensifying parental involvement with two-way communication and periodic activities, optimizing resources through audits and seeking additional funding, and developing joint initiatives with communities. This research contributes to the context of improving the quality of education at SMP Muhammadiyah 30 Sihepeng and can be a reference for policy makers, principals, teachers, and other stakeholders in developing effective strategies for empowering stakeholders in improving the quality of education.
