Abstract

The Hot Springs tourist attraction located in Sungai Pinang Village, Kuantan Singingi Regency has potential that can be developed and utilized to attract tourists. However, its management is still hampered by the availability of funds that can be used. So in this case a development of this tourist attraction. This study aims to determine the development strategy and the inhibiting factors in the development of hot spring tourism object of Sungai Pinang. This study uses qualitative research methods with data collection techniques by observation, interviews and documentation. This research has the result that the development that has been carried out has been going well, as evidenced by the fact that initially only a well became a hot water bath that could be enjoyed. The obstacles in its development are the limited budget allocated for the development of this tourist attraction and the initial plan was 2 adult pools and 1 children`s pool to become 1 adult pool and 1 kids pool.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the challenges and strategies that can be implemented in applying the concept of Islamic education from Al-Ghazali's perspective to the Millennial Generation. The research method is literature study (library), data obtained from books, journals, and articles published online. Data collection techniques by analyzing documentation and by analyzing documents that are relevant to this research. The data analysis technique in this study is descriptive qualitative analysis. The results in this study indicate that there are challenges faced by the millennial generation in the modernization era. First, the fading of good manners, both on social media and in the neighborhood. Second, disgraceful behavior began to be considered reasonable. Third, neglect worship. There are methods that can minimize these challenges by implementing Islamic education from Al-Ghazali's perspective. 1) Method by way of giving punishment, 2) Methods by giving rewards or gifts. Each method which is an educational tool can be applied in today's modernization era.

Abstract

Dalihan Na Tolu system is one element in the culture of Batak Toba. Dalihan Na Tolu is a system of kinship that is used as a basis and reference for the Batak Toba community within their social life. The Dalihan Na Tolu system contains statuses and roles. In determining social status, Batak Toba people first consider their lineage and clan. Outlined by Dalihan Na Tolu and established specific guidelines and laws for different social relationships such as those between a husband and wife, parents, and siblings from each party, additionally each party performed boru and hula-hula. Dalihan Na Tolu becomes the ideal form of kinship for the Batak people of Toba only if implemented in accordance with its principles. This research is descriptive qualitative research obtained through literature study, interview and observation data collection techniques. The material object of this study is the kinship system of the Batak Toba community. Based on the study is findings , it is known that dalihan na tolu dalam culture is the key in the implementation of marriage ceremonies. boru duties as part of the pretext na tolu in every marriage ceremony and other traditional ceremonies have been arranged. The Batak community has clear rules, who does what, who receives and gives what. Perfection of a traditional ceremony for the Batak people is measured by the completeness of the elements of the pretext na tolu to attend the ceremony women and her husband's group (boru) occupy a lower position while the giver of women (hula- hula) occupy a higher position. Abstract

Requirements to become Muhammadiyah citizens in Muhammadiyah learning for students of Muhammadiyah University of North Sumatera, Islamic Education study program, Faculty of Islamic Religion, Muhammadiyah University of North Sumatera. This research is a requirement to be a Muhammadiyah member. This type of research is Qyalitative Research. Data collection techniques used include observation, interviews and docementation. The data analysis techniques is by reducing data, presenting data and verifying and making conclusion. The results of this study indicate that the requirements for becoming Muhammadiyah members in our environment are still uneven. The obstacle faced in becoming Muhammadiyah members is the lack of understanding of same residents about Muhammadiyah values

Abstract

The Jai-jai Raok Beach tourist attraction is one of the beach-style tourist destinations consisting of white sand and coconut trees that make this place look like a beach in general. Jai-jai raok beach is located in the village of Padang Responsi, Kuantan Singingi Regency. This study aims to determine how the development of jai-jai raok beach tourism by BUMDes Rajo Bujang. This research uses descriptive qualitative method because it is done by interview, observation, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the development of this tourism is still quite good, but there are still many shortcomings that must be improved such as facilities and tourism promotion. In addition, there are also inhibiting factors from this development, namely poor fund management and tourism promotion that has not been maximized and also flooding caused by rain so that this beach activity stops.

Abstract

The purpose of making this thesis is to answer the formulation of the problem in the research, namely whether there is an increase in interest in learning physical education through traditional boy-boyan games in students, is there an impact of traditional boy-boyan games on increasing interest in learning physical education in students. The problem of this study is that there are students who feel bored in attending physical education lessons. This research is a quantitative research with experimental methods and uses a pretest-posttest control group design design. The sampling technique uses cluster sampling technique. The instrument used is a likert scale questionnaire questionnaire.There are three stages in this study, namely pretest, treatment and posttest. Treatment was conducted sixteen times. From the pretest and posttest results, there was an increase from the initial average of 74.25, a significant value was obtained from the pretest results, namely 0.290 while the posttest value was 0.420 from these results, it is said that both are normally distributed because the significant value is more than 5% or from 0.05.

Abstract

This study aims to improve students' critical thinking skills through the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model in science subjects at SMP Negeri 9 Jember. The sample of this research was class VIII students of SMP Negeri 9 Jember as the recipients of the action, Science teachers at SMP Negeri 9 Jember as the subject of the action, and the researcher as the subject who made the observations. Methods of data collection carried out by researchers through interviews, observation, and experiments. The results of the study showed that there were differences in students' critical thinking skills in natural science learning on digestion using the practicum-based Problem Based Learning (PBL) model with groups of students using conventional learning models. So it can be concluded that the practicum-based Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model can improve the critical thinking skills of class VIII students in science learning at SMP Negeri 9 Jember.

Abstract

Along with the times, the development of Information Technology (IT) is also growing rapidly. The need for IT-based teaching and learning concepts and mechanisms is inevitable. When the Covid-19 pandemic hit, information technology was inevitably forced to move forward to meet the needs in the world of education. The concept which was later known as e-learning brought the influence of the transformation process of conventional education into digital form, both content and system. In the research that has been carried out, it is expected to be able to determine the level of motivation in online or distance learning in students majoring in Mathematics and Natural Sciences. This research is a quantitative descriptive study with a total sample of 9 students. Data collection techniques by distributing online questionnaires. The results of the study showed that 66.67% of students were unmotivated to learn online and 33.33% were motivated by online learning. So it can be said that learning is less able to motivate students.

Abstract

This study focuses on determining how argumentation techniques can improve students' speaking skills. Learning to speak is quintessential due to the fact talking is a way of communicating with distinctive human beings to lift opinions and ideas, however in truth students' English speaking competencies are low. This is due to various elements such as factors of speech such as vocabulary, pronunciation and grammar that students have to draw close in order to communicate English well. In this study, the researcher used the debate strategy to enhance students' talking skills. This examine about is a classroom motion find out about performed in two cycles. Data sequence used to be once accomplished through tests and observations. Test and commentary data gathered from each cycle have been subjected to quantitative and qualitative analysis. The implementation of the debate technique in teaching speaking competencies in the 2nd grade of SMA Mulia Pratama Medan used to be carried out in two cycles, such as area one and phase two. 25 college students of classification XI IPA participated in the study. The consequences of this locate out about confirmed that the usage of the debate method can improve students' speaking skills. This is evidenced by way of capacity of the students' take a look at scores, which accelerated with every cycle. Abstract

In this study raised several main issues, namely: (1) extracurricular activities at SMAN 4 Probolinggo, (2) Increasing student motivation at SMAN 4 Probolinggo, (3) The effect of extracurricular activities carried out on students' learning motivation. In answering this research, the information obtained is based on interviews. The population is class 11B students at SMAN 4 Probolinggo, namely 36 students. Then the number of students who were taken as samples in this study were taken 11 people from SMAN 4 Probolinggo students. From the results of data processing, the results of extracurricular activities at SMAN 4 Probolinggo are very effective in increasing students' learning motivation. But the division of time between study and rest, considering that these students are still in the learning process so they need the support of all parties from the survival of the school in the future to increase learning motivation
