Abstract

This study aims to explore students' behavioral engagement towards the use of guessing game technique in vocabulary learning. This is a qualitative research with case study as a research design. The participants were six grade 8 students in SPMN 1 Klari in Karawang who were categorized based on their low and high vocabulary learning. To obtain the desirable data, observation and interview guideline used for this research and then the obtained data analyzed through thematic analysis. The The findings showed that students had positive behavioral engagement in terms of their active participation in learning, their adherence to the rules, and their diverse emotions. It can be concluded that even a simple guessing game technique can help students in learning English vocabulary. owever, some problems such as boredom arise in learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana analisis value for money pada Laporan Akuntabilitas Kinerja Instansi Pemerintah (LAKIP) Balai Penelitian Ternak Ciaiwi Bogor yang berdasarkan pada tingkat ekonomi, efisiensi, dan efektivitas. Abstract

Sexual violence cases based on data collected on the kekerasan.kemenpppa.go.id website released the percentage of sexual violence cases that increased significantly from 2021-2023 with an increase in the occurrence of more than 50,000 cases. The increase in cases is not underestimated by the relevant government. One of the government's efforts to prevent cases of sexual violence is by forming a YouTube channel called Note Berkarakter Kemendikbud RI. In 2021, this YouTube channel released a short movie about a female student who experienced indications of sexual violence by her thesis supervisor, in which the movie presents a lot of characterizations, settings, and social conditions to get justice for the case that hit the female student. The relationship between the movie's speech and this study refers to references in the form of pronouns to references (other words) that describe pronouns, nouns, places, situations, to describe a person's position in the social environment. This research is a qualitative research that in the process of analyzing the data does not use numbers and is explained descriptively in the process of conclusion, is not generalization and does not consider significance. which focuses on the use of deiksis analysis theory that explains the characteristics of speech contests in a speech event that is used as an interpretation of the audience, there are four deiksis that can play a role in explaining the characteristics of short movie speech contests, namely persona deiksis, space deiksis, time deiksis, and social deiksis. Based on the results of the analysis of speech in the short movie, four types of deiksis were found and the form of deiksis, namely, persona deiksis consists of first-person persona deiksis, second-person persona deiksis, and third-person persona deiksis, then space deiksis consists of space deiksis with the use of demonstrative pronoun lexemes and the use of localative pronoun lexemes, time deiksis which describes time lexemes with respect to the rotation of the earth, Time deiksis that does not show calendar situations, and time deiksis using temporal conjunctions, and social deiksis that shows a description of a person's habits in describing one's profession, one's title and epithet towards someone.

Abstract

Anak-anak merupakan generasi penerus bangsa, pewaris pembangunan sebagai penerus dan pemilik masa depan namun, anak akan sangat mudah terpengeruh oleh hal-hal yang ada disekitarkan baik hal yang menimbulkan dampak positif maupun dampak negatif. Salah satu hal yang berpengaruh besar terhadap anak adalah lingkungan sekitar lingkungan yang kurang baik akan membuat seorang anak mudah melakukan tindak kejahatan salah satunya adalah pencurian,penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian hukum normatif yang mengkaji lebih dalam bagaimana tindak pidana pencurian yang dilakukan oleh anak dibawah umur,bagaimana sangsi nya menurut Undang-Undang Nomor 11 Tahun 2012 tentang sistem peradilan pidana anak yang merupakan pengganti undang-undang noimor 3 tahun 19997 tentang pengadilan anak Undang-Undang sistem peradilan pidana anak memiliki cara mediasi penal untuk menangani perkara menangani perkara anak yang berhadapan dengan hukum. Sanksi tindakan UU sistem peradilan anak diatur dalam pasal 82 yaitu berupa pengembalian terhadap orang tua/wali. Penyerahan kepada seseorang. Perawatan dirumah sakit jiwa, kewajiban untuk mengikuti pendidikan formal/ pelatihan yang diadakan oleh pemerintah, perawatan di Lembaga perlindungan sanksi dan korban. Pencabutan surat izin mengemudi dan perbaikan akibat tindak pidana yang dibuatnya. Sanksi tindakan lebih bersifat mendidik, tidak membalas guna menciptakan pencegahan khusus yaitu tujuan yang ingin dicapai adalah membuat jera, memperbaiki dan mampu untuk melakukan kejahatan itu lagi.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze an automatic light controller based on Arduino Uno that utilizes Bluetooth technology. The utilization of Bluetooth in automatic light control allows users to wirelessly control room lighting through Bluetooth connections with smartphones or other Bluetooth-enabled devices. The research methodology involves hardware development using Arduino Uno, installation of motion sensors to detect occupancy within the room, and the use of Bluetooth modules to connect the light controller with external devices. The study conducts a performance analysis of the Arduino Uno-based automatic light controller using Bluetooth technology. Factors such as Bluetooth connection reliability, operational range, and response time of the light controller are evaluated and measured. Through testing and measurements, the results demonstrate that the Arduino Uno-based automatic light controller utilizing Bluetooth efficiently controls room lighting with stable and responsive connections. The conclusion of this research indicates that the Bluetooth-based Arduino Uno automatic light controller is an effective solution for wireless room lighting control. Users can easily adjust lighting through a smartphone connected via Bluetooth. The utilization of Arduino Uno as the hardware platform provides reliability and ease of implementation for the Bluetooth-based automatic light control system. This research contributes to the development of Bluetooth-based automatic light control technology. The adoption of this system enhances convenience and flexibility in room lighting management without the need for complex wiring. The findings of this research are expected to serve as a reference for further development and implementation of Bluetooth-based automatic light control using Arduino Uno.

Abstract

The image of employee performance in this country is occasionally branded with a lack of professionalism, an unvaried work culture. Meanwhile, performance by government employees in Indonesia is directed at the public interest, accelerating services that prioritize public satisfaction. Such is the case with the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP) of Riau Province, where this study is intended to test employee performance. The test is intended to determine how the influence of competency development, job distribution and internal control on performance. The independent variable in this writing is competency development, job distribution and internal supervision with the dependent variable being employee performance. The method used in this study is a random sampling method which then uses the IBM SPSS 23 instrument to process data. The results in the research that has been conducted show indicators that competency development affects employee performance as evidenced by a calculated t value of 3.947; The distribution of competency work affects employee performance as evidenced in the calculated t value of 3.676; And internal supervision affects employee performance as evidenced by a calculated t value of 4.231. So it was concluded that competency development, job distribution and internal supervision have a simultaneous influence on employee performance according to the R square result of 0.686 which means that 68.6% of the performance of ASN employees in the Riau BPKP Representative is influenced by the variables studied and the rest are influenced by other variables that are not studied by the author.

Abstract

Accounting education in tertiary institutions is focused on teaching students so they can have a career as a professional accountant who has expertise in accounting. Understanding the science of accounting requires knowledge of the basics of accounting. The basis of accounting is used as a guide in understanding the practices and theories related to accounting. This study aims to determine the influence of intellectual intelligence, emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence can affect accounting understanding. This research was conducted at the Batam State Polytechnic accounting study program and Batam International University. This sampling technique used purposive sampling and a sample of 295 students was obtained from the 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022 batches. The data analysis technique implemented was multiple linear regression. Data was obtained by distributing questionnaires and applying a Likert scale. The measurement of the independent variable of intellectual intelligence is carried out by the ability to solve problems, verbal intelligence and practical intelligence. Emotional intelligence with self-knowledge, self-control, motivation, empathy, and social skills. Spiritual intelligence with being flexible, high self-awareness, ability to face and take advantage of suffering, ability to deal with various problems, indifference in causing unnecessary harm, quality of life inspired by vision and values, tendency to view holistically, tendency to ask questions and have the convenience of working against convention. Measurement of understanding of accounting through understanding of journals, ledgers, summarizing in the trial balance, making adjusting journal entries, and preparing financial reports. The results of this study state that intellectual intelligence, emotional intelligence, and spiritual intelligence have a significant effect on accounting comprehension.

Abstract

A bank or banking institution is a financial intermediary that is typically established with the authority to accept deposits, lend money, and issue notes known as promissory notes or banknotes. Banks can be divided into two types based on their operational activities: conventional banks and Shariah banks. An Islamic bank is a bank that operates according to Shariah principles. The implementation of Shariah principles is a key differentiator from conventional banks. In essence, Shariah principles refer to Islamic Shariah, which is mainly guided by the Quran and Hadith. The rapid development of Islamic banking promises a favorable outlook. The existence of Islamic banks in Indonesia officially began in 1992 with the enactment of Law No. 7 on Banks, but since the law did not provide a sufficient legal basis for the development of Islamic banks, the government passed a new law specifically regulating Sharia Banking, namely Law No. 21 of 2008.

Abstract

Pendidikan karakter menekankan landasan moral dan etika yang membentuk individu menjadi anggota masyarakat yang baik dan bertanggung jawab, tidak hanya berkaitan dengan apa yang harus dipelajari, tetapi juga bagaimana cara agar peserta didik dapat menerapkan nilai-nilai karakter dalam kehidupannya sehari-hari. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan menggunakan teknik pengamatan di lapangan dan wawancara sebagai metode pengumpulan data. Fokus dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana implementasi kegiatan ekstrakurikuler Pramuka dalam membentuk karakter peserta didik. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa dalam penerapan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler pramuka yang berpegang teguh kepada Tri Satya dan Dasa Dharma ini tentunya tidak hanya dihafalkan dan dipahami tetapi peserta didik juga menerapkan nilai-nilai karakter yang terkandung dalam Tri Satya dan Dasa Dharma seperti religius, jujur, disiplin, mandiri dan bertanggung jawab dalam kehidupan sehari-hari peserta didik.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the type of bilingualism that occurs in the community of Jayamukti Karajan II Village, Banyusari District, Karawang Regency. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. The subject of this research is the type of bilingualism that occurs in the Jayamukti Karajan II Village area through interview methods such as with family members and the object of this research is language bilingualism that occurs in the Jayamukti Karajan II Village environment. The research results of the people of Jayamukti Karajan II Village are a bilingual society because many people use two or more languages ​​in their daily lives. In Jayamukti Karajan II Village, people generally use Sundanese and Indonesian. But there are also those who master more than two languages, such as Betawi and Javanese.
