Abstract

This study aims to analyze the concept of literacy integration in thematic learning within the Independent Curriculum in elementary schools. The method used is a literature study by reviewing various literature sources related to literacy, thematic learning, and the implementation of the Independent Curriculum. The analysis results indicate that literacy integration in thematic learning can improve reading, writing, critical thinking, and conceptual understanding skills holistically. The project-based learning and real-life context offered by the Independent Curriculum support literacy strengthening through reading, discussion, and presentation activities. However, literacy integration is not optimal due to limited teacher competency, minimal reading facilities, and a low student literacy culture. This study recommends strengthening teacher training, providing digital and print-based literacy media, and collaboration between parents and schools in building a culture of literacy from an early age.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the School Literacy Movement (GLS) and deep learning as efforts to improve reading literacy skills among elementary school students. The research employed a descriptive qualitative method using observation, interviews, and documentation as data collection techniques. The findings show that the implementation of GLS at SD Negeri 61 Manado has been carried out through a 15-minute daily reading activity, the provision of reading corners, and the use of literacy journals. Meanwhile, deep learning is implemented through text analysis and reflective discussions. The integration of GLS and deep learning positively impacts students’ motivation to read, their ability to identify main ideas, draw conclusions from texts, and participate actively in class discussions. These findings emphasize that the implementation of GLS and deep learning must be conducted consistently and sustainably to strengthen elementary students’ reading literacy

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the Literacy Program in improving students’ reading interest at SD GMIM Pondang. The research employed a case study approach with data collected through classroom observations, documentation, and field notes during the implementation of the morning literacy activities. The findings indicate a noticeable improvement in students’ reading behavior. At the beginning of the program, many students struggled to focus, showed low interest in reading, and often selected books randomly. However, as the activities were carried out routinely, students began to show enthusiasm, develop reading preferences, and become more independent in choosing and completing books. Supporting factors of the program included the availability of varied reading materials, a comfortable reading corner, and consistent teacher guidance. Meanwhile, challenges arose from the limited number of engaging books for all students, differences in reading ability, and classroom environmental distractions. Overall, the Literacy Program proved effective in fostering reading habits and increasing students’ reading interest

Abstract

This study aims to describe the role of teachers in enhancing students’ reading interest at the Elementary School of Teep Trans Village, South Minahasa Regency. The research employed a qualitative approach with a case study method, using observations, interviews, and documentation as data collection techniques. Data analysis followed the model proposed by Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña. The findings show that teachers strive to improve students’ reading interest through shared reading activities, the use of picture-story media, literacy routines, and motivational reinforcement. These strategies were effective in increasing students’ engagement and enthusiasm for reading activities. However, several challenges were identified, including limited book availability, low parental support for reading activities at home, and the basic reading difficulties experienced by some students. Teachers responded to these issues by providing individual guidance and diversifying literacy activities. The study concludes that teachers play a crucial role in fostering students’ reading interest, although optimal outcomes require adequate school facilities and active parental involvement.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of financial attitude, financial knowledge, and financial self-efficacy on financial management behavior among micro business actors in the culinary sector in South Tidore District, Tidore Islands City. This study uses a quantitative method with a population of 77 culinary businesses in South Tidore District. The results of the study indicate that the variable financial attitude does not have a positive and significant effect on financial management behavior, as indicated by a coefficient value of -0.09, with a t-value of 0.884 > t-table 1.666 and a significance level of 0.377 > 0.05. Financial knowledge has a positive and significant effect on financial management behavior, as indicated by a coefficient value of 0.771 with a t-value of 11.326 > t-table 1.666 and a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05. Financial self-efficacy also has a positive and significant effect on financial management behavior, as shown by a coefficient value of 0.177 with a t-value of 2.866 > t-table 1.666 and a significance level of 0.005 < 0.05. Simultaneously, financial attitude, financial knowledge, and financial self-efficacy have a significant effect on financial management behavior, proven by an F-value of 165.944 > F-table 2.730 and a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh peran mediasi gaya hidup dalam mempengaruhi literasi keuangan dan inklusi keuangan terhadap perilaku manajemen keuangan pada usaha mikro di pulau tidore. Jenis penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, sampel dalam penelitian ini terdapat 118 dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan rumus slovin. Hasil penelitian menunjukan: (1) hasil penelitian ini diperoleh pengaruh positif antara Literasi Keuangan terhadap Perilaku Manajemen Keuangan dengan hasil uji parsial yaitu Thitung > Ttabel yakni 4,826 > 1.980 dan nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05, (2) hasil penelitian ini diperoleh tidak pengaruh positif antara . Inklusi Keuangan terhadap Perilaku Manajemen Keuangan. Dengan hasil uji parsial yaitu Thitung > Ttabel yakni 0,180 < 1,980 dan nilai signifikansi 0,858 .> 0,05, (3) hasil penelitian ini diperoleh pengaruh positif antara Literasi Keuangan terhadap Gaya Hidup dengan hasil uji parsial yaitu Thitung > Ttabel yakni 1,980 > 1,980 dan nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05, (4) hasil penelitian ini diperoleh pengaruh positif antara Inklusi Keuangan terhadap Gaya Hidup dengan hasil uji parsial yaitu Thitung > Ttabel yakni 4,868 > 1,980 dan nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05, (5) hasil penelitian ini diperoleh pengaruh positif antara gaya hidup terhadap perilaku manajemen keuangan dengan hasil uji parsial yaitu Thitung > Ttabel yakni 5,116 > 1,980 dan nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05, (6) hasil pengujian terbukti bahwa literasi keuangan tidak berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap perilaku manajemen keuangan melalui gaya hidup sebagai variabel mediasi, (7) hasil pengujian terbukti bahwa inklusi keuangan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap perilaku manajemen keuangan melalui gaya hidup sebagai variabel mediasi.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between arm muscle strength and leg muscle explosive power with smash accuracy in volleyball games in the Halbar Regency women's team. This study uses a correlational design. The subjects of this study were the Halbar Regency women's volleyball team, which consisted of 34 athletes. Data analysis used the Pearson product-moment correlation formula and multiple correlation at a significance level of α = 0.05. The findings in this study indicate that: 1) the calculated t-value is -0.719 and the significance value is 0.475 which is greater than α 0.05, so it can be stated that there is no relationship between arm muscle strength and volleyball smash accuracy, 2) the calculated t-value is 3.777 and the significance value is 0.001 which is smaller than α 0.05, so it can be stated that there is a relationship between leg muscle explosive power and volleyball smash accuracy and 3) the calculated F-value is 17.896 > F-table value of 3.3048, so it can be stated that there is a relationship between arm muscle strength and leg muscle explosive power and volleyball smash accuracy. The conclusions are as follows: 1) There is no relationship between arm muscle strength and smash accuracy in volleyball games in the Halbar Regency women's team, 2) There is leg muscle explosive power and smash accuracy in volleyball games in the Halbar Regency women's team, and 3) There is a joint relationship between arm muscle strength and leg muscle explosive power with smash accuracy in volleyball games in the Halbar Regency women's team

Abstract

This study analyzes the management of motor vehicle parking fees at Goto Sarimalaha Port and its alignment with actual parking needs. Current management is manual, potentially leading to revenue leakage and a lack of public awareness. Therefore, a transparent, accountable, and technology-based system is needed. This research uses quantitative methods, focusing on two- and four-wheeled vehicles, and is expected to provide theoretical benefits for the development of transportation management science and practical benefits for port managers and local governments in improving the efficiency and quality of parking services. Based on the research results at Goto Sarimalaha Port, the motor vehicle parking fee management system is still suboptimal, largely manual, potentially leading to revenue leakage, and a lack of public awareness of payment procedures for visitors. Validity analysis shows that most questions related to fee management have a significant correlation with meeting parking needs, particularly items P3, P4, and P8, which are significant at the 0.01 level. This supports the hypothesis that fee management—including tariff policies, payment systems, and fund allocation—directly contributes to improving parking facilities and meeting port user needs.

Abstract

This research compares cost estimations between SNI and BOW methods for the Lelilef Health Center construction project in Central Halmahera. The study was motivated by health service urgencies in the mining area, a large project scale (Rp 7,929,854,690.00), mixed funding (DAK + CSR), and implementation challenges (delayed worker payments). The research aims to determine the cost estimations using SNI and BOW methods and identify the more economical approach. Data analysis involves evaluating Bill of Quantity data, understanding project requirements, summarizing BOW and SNI analyses, and collecting price lists for materials, labor, and equipment. The study found that the cost estimation using the SNI 2008 method was Rp 4,312,815,870.00, while the BOW method resulted in Rp 4,990,646,920.00. The SNI 2008 method was 13.58% more economical due to lower coefficient values, especially in reinforcement, concrete work and bricklaying. The research suggests that consultants should use clear, regulation-based methods and conduct thorough cost calculations with appropriate analysis methods to achieve economical and specification-compliant results. Further research is recommended to investigate factors causing project delays and cost impacts.

Abstract

This study aims to map flood vulnerability levels in Babat District, Lamongan Regency, using a scoring and overlay method based on Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Six parameters were analyzed, including rainfall, slope, soil type, land use, elevation, and river buffer. The results classified the area into four vulnerability levels: not vulnerable, moderately vulnerable, vulnerable, and highly vulnerable. The highly vulnerable class dominates with an area of approximately 2,850.10 ha (44.18%), followed by the vulnerable class covering ±2,697.93 ha (41.79%), moderately vulnerable ±802.75 ha (12.44%), and not vulnerable ±107.62 ha (1.59%). The main contributing factors to flood vulnerability are flat topography, alluvial soil characteristics, high rainfall, and proximity to the Bengawan Solo River. The resulting vulnerability map is expected to serve as a reference for local governments and communities in developing flood mitigation strategies and supporting spatial planning in Babat District.
