Abstract

Understanding the idea of prevention and countermeasures of sexual violence is the goal of this community service project Medan Krio Village area. This activity began by emphasizing the importance of knowledge related to sexual violence and problems that potentially arise due to public misunderstanding of the forms of sexual violence stipulated in law No. 12 Of 2022 On The Crime Of Sexual Violence. The implementation method includes planning activities involving 30 (thirty) participants in the Medan Krio Village Hall by providing understanding through material presented in a concise information chart and accompanied by discussion sessions. Participation in this community service project leads to a significant increase in participants ' understanding before and after participating in the activities. This fact shows that individuals who take part in this effort can benefit from later implementing their understanding in the lives of the Medan Krio Village community, in order to minimize and be free of sexual violence violations. And can carry out the implementation of the law and the purpose of punishment (rehabilitative) for the perpetrators so that the people of Medan Krio are born with character and are legally aware.

Abstract

Public speaking is a person's ability to speak in public correctly so that the message can be clearly conveyed and the purpose of speaking can be directly obtained. Public Speaking is very important to support the realization of the goals of the management itself, one of which is to improve the knowledge and skills of hotel employees. Of the various non-technical skills or competencies required by tourism industry human resources, effective communication competencies both orally and in writing are non-technical skills with a very large role. For example, the style of language in communicating with employees is important in increasing employee motivation and also company performance. In this study, the authors examine the effect of public speaking and communication styles that occur at Hotel Santika Premiere Padang on the work motivation of employees. The subject of this research is the management of Hotel Santika Premiere Padang and their staff. This study aims to determine what kind of public speaking and communication styles occur and whether public speaking and leadership communication styles trigger employee motivation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi permintaan listrik dan rata-rata tarif listrik PLN menggunakan analisis regresi multivariat. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi data permintaan listrik, tarif listrik, PDB, jumlah pelanggan, dan faktor-faktor lain yang relevan. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa Jumlah Penduduk dan Nilai Tambah Sektor Industri Manufaktur memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap permintaan listrik, sementara Nilai Tambah Sektor Industri Manufaktur dan Jumlah Pelanggan PLN memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap tarif rata-rata listrik.

Abstract

Enjoyable mathematics learning is the hope of every student. Where learning facilitates students to discover the principles of the material studied in a meaningful way. Teachers can do this by designing interesting learning activities and encouraging students to use their thinking patterns. For this reason, it is necessary to develop mathematics learning tools that can provide opportunities for students to construct knowledge and improve their learning outcomes. So an ACE-based learning tool was developed which is expected to achieve this target. The goal to be achieved from this development effort is to produce effective ACE-based mathematics learning tools. The learning developed is in the form of Student Worksheets (LKPD). The subjects of this research were students of class XI Culinary Arts at SMK N 6 Padang, class This learning tool is effective in terms of student learning outcomes. In this case, the learning outcomes of experimental class students were 87.50% of students scored above the KKM, while 60% of control class students scored above the KKM. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the ACE-based learning tools for mathematics learning in class XI Catering 2 can be declared effective.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between the population of Central Java Province, life expectancy, and the percentage of poor people. By using cross-section data from Dispermadesdukcapil and Central Java Provincial Statistics Agency, the technical used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results show that Life Expectancy has a significant negative effect on the number of poor people, while Population does not have a significant effect on the number of poor people. Thus, increasing Life Expectancy can be an effective strategy in reducing poverty in Central Java Province. These results have important implications in formulating more appropriate policies to reduce poverty in the region.

Abstract

Islam is a teaching that requires attention to those who are in poverty. Islam's desire to help and lift them from the brink of poverty is applied by paying zakat in the Islamic religion. Zakat, which has been interpreted traditionally, has been disrupted by Yusuf Qardhawi by creating many new categories regarding zakat. Among the new categories of the results of Yusuf Qardhawi's Ijtihad in the book of Fiqh Zakat are, Zakat on Honey and Animal Production, zakat on investment in factories, buildings and others, zakat on pursuits and professions as well as zakat on shares and bonds as well as zakat on marine products which includes amber pearls and others. other. The rule used by Yusuf Qardhawi in expanding the category of obligatory zakat assets is, relying on general propositions, in addition to adhering to the requirements for obligatory zakat assets, namely growth and development. Either grow and develop through effort or based on the substance of the treasure that develops.

Abstract

The challenges of the 21st century require students to have the ability to analyse, solve problems, and creativity through Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) based learning. Learning implemented in schools must be able to develop critical thinking, creative thinking, collaboration and communication skills. The main purpose of HOTS is to improve learners' thinking ability at a higher level, especially in receiving various types of information, solving problems, arguing well, and making decisions in complex situations. Through HOTS, learners are expected to learn new things and apply them to different situations. The methods used included lectures, questions and answers, and practice in preparing HOTS-based syllabus and lesson plans. The resource person provided material on the concept of HOTS and LOTS based on Bloom's Taxonomy, as well as how to integrate them in the syllabus and lesson plans. The results of this activity show that teachers have understood the preparation of HOTS-based syllabus and lesson plans, although there are still some obstacles in applying the HOTS concept.

Abstract

This research analyzes the level of satisfaction of partner schools towards Educational Field Practice (PLK) students by using a qualitative descriptive research method with a percentage formula. The focus of the research is the results of the analysis carried out at partner schools on PLK students for the Odd Semester 2023/2024, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas Mahaputra Muhammad Yamin. The research framework relies on the foundation of thoughts, ideas and policies in the 2022 PLK guidebook. There are 21 partner schools for PLK, consist of 11 SMP/MTSN, 9 SMA/SMK/MAN and 1 Islamic boarding school in Solok City and Regency. Comprehensive analysis of the data shows that the results of the partner schools satisfaction survey for Educational Field Practice students on the student ethics was found at very satisfied percentage (89%), on the communication skills was obtained at satisfied percentage (86%), on the ability to use technology was also at satisfied percentage (86%), on the cooperation ability was obtained at very satisfied percentage (89%), om self-development was fpund at satisfied percentage (85%), and on teaching competence was obtained at satisfied percentage (81%). Thus, based on the indicators, in can be concluded that PLK students are favored by many respondents. This will have an impact on the progress of schools, tutors and PLK students through organizing PLK activities.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) Model accompanied by Video on Student Learning Outcomes on Human Movement Systems Material at SMAN 1 Solok City. This research uses a quasi-experimental method with a control class and an experimental class. The research population was students of class XI MIPA SMAN 1 Solok City, with 7 classes sampled randomly. Classes XI IPA 4 and XI IPA 7 were chosen as the experimental and control classes. The instrument used is the final test. The test results show the average score for the experimental class is 81.83 and the control class is 67.73. Statistical tests show that the learning outcomes of students taught using PBL are better than those using conventional methods. So, it can be concluded that PBL with video has a positive influence on student learning outcomes in Human Movement Systems material at SMAN 1 Solok City.

Abstract

This study was conducted to analyze the effect of the Leverage, Ownership Institutional and Quality Audit on the Tax Avoidance (CETR) of manufacturing companies in the industrial sector listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange for the Period 2017 - 2020 either partially or simultaneously. The sampling method is purposive sampling. The number of samples used in this study were 21 industrial companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from a total population of 42 companies. The type of data used is secondary data sourced from financial statement data and annual reports of each company. The data analysis method used in this study uses multiple linear regression analysis techniques. As a result of the survey, leverage has a positive and significant impact on partial tax avoidance, and the quality of institutional ownership and audits of the industrial sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange between 2017 - 2020. We conclude that it does not have a significant negative impact on the partial tax avoidance of companies. High levels indicate corporate tax avoidance practices, low institutional ownership proves that the number of corporate controls and public ownership remains dominant, and audit quality is corporate tax avoidance practices at the time of audit.
