Abstract

Principal leadership has a very important role in improving the work discipline of teachers who are good and obedient to the rules that apply in schools. To improve the quality of education a school principal must be able to increase the job satisfaction of teachers or their subordinates. Teacher work discipline is closely related to compliance in implementing school regulations. The purpose of this research is to: 1). Analyzing the relationship between the principal's leadership and teacher job satisfaction at SMAN 1 Ciranjang, Cianjur Regency, 2). Analyzing the relationship between teacher discipline and job satisfaction at SMAN 1 Ciranjang, Cianjur Regency 3) Analyzing the relationship between the principal's leadership and teacher discipline together with teacher job satisfaction at SMAN 1 Ciranjang, Cianjur Regency. The type of research being conducted was descriptive quantitative research. The research method used in this study uses an associative quantitative approach with survey methods. The sample in this study were all PNS teachers at SMAN 1 Ciranjang, Cianjur Regency in 2021. The sampling technique through a questionnaire was carried out based on the basic principles of the probability sampling technique through a random cluster sampling technique (area sampling). The analysis technique starts from the normality test, homogeneity test, simple linear regression test, and multiple regression test. Based on data analysis, it can be concluded: There is a positive relationship between the leadership of the Principal and Teacher Discipline together with teacher job satisfaction at SMAN 1 Ciranjang, Cianjur Regency.

Abstract

Evaluation must be carried out systematically and continuously in order to find out the results in comparing benchmarks to get improvement. For the success of a training, it is necessary to carry out a training evaluation. This study examines the Implementation of Kirkpatrick's Evaluation of Reaction Levels and Learning in Entrepreneurship Training for Young Farmers at BBPP Lembang, using Kirkpatrick's theory. This study aims to describe Kirkpatrick's evaluation at levels 1 and 2. This research is a descriptive qualitative. The subject of this study used a purposive sampling technique, namely in taking samples of data sources through certain considerations, those who were considered to know best about what actually happened in the field, making it easier for researchers to find out the object under study. Data collection techniques by means of observation, in-depth interviews and documentation studies. After that, understand the results of the data collection technique and then draw conclusions. The results showed that: evaluation of level one training, namely the reaction, there were variations in training reactions. Some were satisfied with the training, but there were still participants who felt unsatisfied with the training provided. Participant satisfaction reactions can be increased regarding the facilities and closeness between the instructor and the training participants. After that, the second level evaluation is learning that the participants achieved the desired goals and succeeded in carrying out the training activities, but the participants felt that the material provided was mostly in accordance with their needs. Participants want the instructors to be provided not only from BBPP but also to bring business practitioner instructors directly into the class

Abstract

SDGs target number 3.4 in 2030 reduces by one third the premature death rate from non-communicable diseases (PTM). The elderly are very at risk of experiencing PTM such as hypertension, heart disease, diabetes, stroke, rheumatism, and others.Method: This type of research is quasi experiment with pre-posttest group design without control. The intervention provided is in the form of project-based learning. The population is the students of the Golden Age of Daarut Tauhiid Bandung as many as 19 people. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire sheet. Respondents measured knowledge before and after participating in learning. The data that has been collected is then processed and analyzed using the dependent T test.Results: The average score of respondents' knowledge before learning was 71 and after learning was 82. The results of the dependent T test obtained a value of p = 0.003 less than α (0.05), which means that there were differences in the knowledge of respondents before and after project-based learning was carried out.Conclusion: Project-based learning can increase respondents' knowledge about symptoms, how to prevent and treat non-communicable diseases (PTM) by 13.4%.

Abstract

Knowledge of reproductive health is very important to limit sexual behavior that is increasingly free in adolescence, especially during early adolescence. A study in Cameroon showed that women with disabilities have limited understanding of reproductive health and have low reproductive health education.Health education delivered can use a variety of media including modules in the form of print, audio and video. Rosaria's research stated that there was a significant difference in the intervention group that received socialization on the HIV/AIDS prevention module and had better knowledge and attitudes than the control group. The preliminary study at SLB S found that most of the students at the special school did not know about the importance of knowing about adolescent reproductive health because they had never received education about reproductive health. So the authors were interested in conducting a study on the effectiveness of virtual reproductive health education for blind children in the AKB era in Bogor cityThis study aims to determine the success of the Effectiveness of Reproductive Health Virtual Education for Blind Children in the AKB Era in Bogor City. The research design used in this study was a quantitative method using a quasi-experimental form of nonrandomized control group pretest-posttest design taking place in the city of Bogor. Quantitative data analysis included univariate and multivariate analysis using parametric test Unpaired T test with alternative nonparametric Mann-Whitney test.The results of the study show that the use of virtual modules is effective in increasing knowledge and attitudes for children with visual impairments with a p-value 000.5. Suggestion. The use of virtual educational modules can be used as interesting and simple educational media in providing health education to adolescents, especially children with visual impairments.

Abstract

Project-based learning is one of the lessons that is able to direct participants. The process of childbirth is identical to the feeling of pain as a manifestation of the birth process which begins with uterine contractions, cervical dilatation and effacement. It is a physiological process, as a subjective experience of the physical sensations associated with the stages of labour. To reduce the sensation of labor pain, it is necessary to have pain management in labor using non-pharmacological methods, one of which is acupressure. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of acupressure on the level of labor pain. Methods: The research design in this study was a pre-experiment with a one-group pre-post test design. The population of all women giving birth normally with a sample of 52 respondents for the intervention group and 52 respondents for the control group. The sampling technique was accidental sampling. Bivariate analysis using the Wilcoxon test. Results: Statistical tests using the Wilcoson test obtained p value = 0.000 (p value 0.05) meaning that acupressure has been proven to significantly reduce the intensity of labor pain. Conclusion: acupressure can reduce the intensity of physiological labor pain in primigravidas in labor during the first active phase.

Abstract

The management of the training program is one of the success factors of the Subang Regency UPTD BLK in the awarding of the Vocational Training Award (PVA) in 2021. The sewing training program is The training program is in great demand by the community because it has ample job opportunities. This study aims to determine how far the management of sewing training programs can improve the basic competence of training participants at the UPTD BLK Subang Regency. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques namely interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of this study obtained that 1) at the planning stage, managers identify needs, develop goals, curricula, strategies, evaluation tools, facilities and training infrastructure with instructors, as well as training financing, 2) at the organizing stage, the manager forms a recruitment team, finance team, facilities and infrastructure team, reporting team, as well as instructors as training implementers, where each team works according to the implementation training schedule, 3) at the implementation stage, instructors provide teaching, guiding, and motivating participants so that they are enthusiastic about participating in the training until the program is finished, then during the training participants are active and have the motivation to learn to increase skills in sewing, then sources and learning media are also in accordance with the needs and can be used properly by training participants, 4) at the evaluation stage, the manager carries out a learning evaluation at the end of the program in the form of questions and practice. in addition, managers also carry out program evaluations to see the effectiveness of the implementation of the program, participants also take a competency test organized by the center to obtain a professional certificate. The result of organizing sewing training is an increase in knowledge, skills, and attitudes that participants feel after attending the training.

Abstract

The development of human resources is inseparable from the development of human resources as a whole which must be carried out on an ongoing basis. One important factor is education. National community factors and individuals face constructive and creative global challenges and strive to promote the development of a resilient and sustainable society. Abstract

The development of tourism destinations in Indonesia is a development that is intensively carried out by the central government and local governments. A characteristic of a tourist village has the concept of a form of integration between attractions, accommodation, and fulfillment of facilities in a community structure that is integrated with traditions and procedures that already apply. The planning of the empowerment strategy must be designed in such a way as to form a structured community organization. The development of tourist villages in Jambu Village has the main goal of building local communities to have cultural and economic resilience. With adequate economic support, the people of Jambu Village will be able to maintain and develop their cultural heritage or natural potential. Thus, in the development of tourist villages, the goals and targets are to provide opportunities or encourage the community to be more active, creative, and pro-active in developing and managing tourist attractions in their area. The purpose of this study was to determine the strategy of community empowerment based on local potential through the village tourism program for the Seedling Gardens in Kediri Regency. Determination of the place in the study that is using a purposive area, because the selection of the place is based on certain considerations. The technique of determining the informants in this study used snowball sampling. Data collection techniques using the method of observation, interviews and documentation. Techniques for checking the validity of the data used extended participation, persistence of observation, and triangulation. The triangulation used is technique triangulation and source triangulation. Data analysis using Miles and Huberman includes: data collection, data reduction, data presentation and data verification. The results of this study indicate that there is a community empowerment strategy carried out by residents around Jambu Village to improve the standard of living of the local community. There are several things that are done to achieve success according to the plan. There are 3 developments in forming an empowerment strategy, namely human development which includes recruitment, training, and education. Community development is related to the application of Sapta Pesona and environmental revitalization. As well as institutional development in the form of a BUMDes organization to oversee tourism villages. Suggestions for further writers are expected to be able to explore the topic of increasing empowerment strategies related to increasing the existence of a community organization that develops tourism based on local potential.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and describe the management of handmade training programs in PKBM Rumpun Aksara. This study uses a descriptive type of research with a qualitative approach. The research site is located in PKBM Rumpun Aksara Panti Jember using a purposive area technique. The technique of determining the informants used purposive sampling. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. The technique of checking the validity of the data used was increased persistence, extended observations and triangulation in the form of source triangulation and technical triangulation. Data analysis used the theory of Miles and Hubarman by collecting data, reducing data, presenting data, and verifying data. The results showed that the planning activities in the handmade training in PKBM Rumpun Aksara were carried out in a structured and systematic way, starting from identifying needs, to making learning lesson plans, as well as determining methods and media carried out by the training instructor. The implementation of the handmade training program has been running according to the predetermined plan. Meanwhile, the evaluation activity for the handmade training is holding a meeting with the instructor who discusses the implementation of the program. While the evaluation of the learning community by conducting an assessment of the process, results, level of interest of learning residents and the impact of handmade training for learning residents.
