Abstract

Attendance is a data collection activity to determine the number of students present. This also applies to the learning process at school. Collecting attendance data manually has several weaknesses, such as inaccurate data when calculating the number of student attendance. This study aimed to create tools to make data collection easier. The tool that made the writer can be explained through the main block diagram which is divided into four parts: input block, process block, output block, and wireless block. In the input block, the RFID module and Esp32cam as student identifiers. In the process block, the Esp8266 microcontroller is the main processing unit to regulate the conditions of the tool being made. The output block includes a TFT LCD screen that displays streaming video during the attendance process. The results showed that the designed device worked well when the image size on the database was the same as the frame size in Base64 format and on a TFT screen measuring 240x320. There was also RFID where a good distance for the tag card to be identified or read on the RFID reader was 0.5 cm to 2.5 cm. This system could improve accuracy and efficiency in student attendance management while providing easy access to information to all interested parties.

Abstract

A problem is a statement or truth based on experience that is used as a hypothesis. In formulating a hypothesis based on statements as an inductive way of thinking. The problem of induction can also be formulated as a question about the validity or truth of universal statements based on experience. Thinking based on logic gives humans the possibility to gain knowledge, which is deeper than the meaning of what is thought. In formulating a hypothesis based on statements as an inductive way of thinking. The problem of induction can also be formulated as a question about the validity or truth of universal statements based on experience. In the case of inductive logic, however, these relationships vary in strength, measures of conditional probability reflect the degree of rational confidence that a person should have in the hypothesis that empirical science should be so characterized by its methods. With this method, we deal with science with a system based on what we do to what is done. The difference between the psychological view of knowledge which is related to empirical facts, and the logic of knowledge which is only related to empirical facts. With logical connections, the belief in inductive logic is largely due to confusion between psychological problems and epistemological problems.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the rise of traditional marriages carried out by the Indigenous Peoples of the Menjalin Subdistrict, Landak Regency. From the author's search, not many of them do marriage in marriage and marriage in the State. This research aimed to determine perceptions of tradition and Catholic marriages. This research was conducted using the ethnographic method in the period of June-December 2023. The subjects of this research were Dayak Traditional leaders and Catholic religious leaders. Data was collected by observation and in-depth interviews. The data analysis technique involved coding each question and interpreting it. The Kanayatn Dayak Indigenous people see that customary marriage is more important than church and state marriage. This perception was influenced by a strong belief in their culture, where they felt more guilty towards the spirits of their ancestors if they did not carry out marriage customs compared to state marriages. Another thing was lazy administration with the church and the government.

Abstract

This research aimed to create innovations in the development of the Internet of Things in car accessories to add system accessories to cars. The type of research used was experimental research. The subjects studied in this research were car users whose hobbies were various types of cars. The use of Internet of Things media in car accessories is very unique and has not been widely used to create innovations in the development of Internet of Things technology. This research aimed to help car users control their cars through the voice control feature, as well as to make car users a second choice to upgrade their car systems compared to buying a sophisticated car at an expensive price. The research results showed that there were still very few car users equipped with control systems compared to luxury car users who had sophisticated systems. Thus, it can be concluded that the idea of a voice control system using the Internet of Things for car accessories could help car users increase the sophistication of the car system and is a good choice.

Abstract

Superior seeds are certified as one of the determinants of increasing productivity. Farmer behaviour is also one of the keys to increasing productivity. This research used a descriptive qualitative approach. The subject of this study was 11 farmer groups in 8 districts. Data was obtained through in-depth interviews and participatory observation of tobacco farmers in several major tobacco-producing regions and data analysis using triangulation. The seeds of the Kubangsari variety had high production and the largest percentage yield compared to other varieties. The behaviour model of farmers using certified superior seeds could increase tobacco productivity and the behaviour of farmers who used certified superior seeds of Kubangsari varieties had the highest productivity level of 22,826 kg/ha the highest than varieties of timing, hence, Tanjung, Citrasari, and sigh. Therefore, seeds could be selected or determined to be cultivated more massively in locations that had similar microclimate characteristics to increase profits. The contribution of this research can be used as one of the materials for planning and evaluating seed activities in the tobacco commodity development area.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the implementation of the Direct Instruction learning model to students’ activeness in Local Area Network (LAN) installations in class X TKJ of SMKN 2 Central Bengkulu. The method used in this research was the descriptive qualitative method. Research on the implementation of the direct instruction learning model to students’ activeness in class X TKJ of SMKN 2 Central Bengkulu, totalling 25 students. Data collection techniques used were observation, interview, and documentation. The data analysis technique in this research uses interviews and direct observations that can be combined. The results showed the implementation of the direct instruction learning model to students’ activeness in Local Area Network (LAN) installations is implemented by researchers in well-structured stages. Includes orientation, presentation, structured practice, and independent practice. Students’ activeness in the learning process went well and active participation was seen when the researcher applied the direct instruction learning model, as evidenced by the observation sheet of students’ activeness from the 12 elements in the 4 assessment indicators that had been filled in by observers with the results obtained namely that 9 element indicators were 75% while for the other 3 indicator elements it is 25%.
