Abstract

Rice plants occupy a strategic position as a staple food producer for the people of Indonesia. Faced with limited suboptimal soil fertility, especially low levels of nutrients and soil pH, the use of organic fertilizers combined with local ameliorants is one solution to increase soil fertility. The purpose of this study was to obtain a combination of chicken or quail manure with rice husk biochar, which can reduce the use of inorganic fertilizers (urea, SP-36, and KCl). This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of 7 treatments (A, B, C, D, E, F, and G) which was a combination of 100% to 25% inorganic fertilizer of the recommendations, chicken manure or bird manure quail 5 tons/ha, and rice husk biochar 5 tons/ha. The parameters observed were plant height, total chlorophyll, seed dry weight, soil pH, soil NPK content, and Al-dd content. Observational data were analyzed with the F test at the 5% level then further tests were carried out using the Honest Significant Difference (HSD) test. The results showed that the treatments had a very significant effect, namely C, D, and E treatments resulted in a decrease in Al-dd, and an increase in K and had a significant effect on rice plant height. It was concluded that a combination of 5 tons/ha of chicken manure or quail manure with 5 tons/ha of biochar could increase soil fertility and rice plant height during the vegetative period and could substitute inorganic fertilizers up to 50% of the recommended dose.

Abstract

Credit Unions or commonly known as CUs are quite developed in Indonesia, especially on the island of Kalimantan. One of the Credit Cooperative Centers that house Primary CU in Indonesia has service areas in 34 Provinces in Indonesia, namely the Credit Union Credit Cooperative Center Indonesia (PUSKOPCUINA). The CU under the auspices of the PUSKOPCUINA movement has grown very well and has become a reference for CUs in Indonesia in terms of development and empowerment. CU's contribution is still not significant in boosting national economic growth, so more comprehensive research is needed. The development of CU in Indonesia is inseparable from the development of the Return On Assets (ROA) contained in the CU. The Kalimantan credit union movement is under the auspices of PUSKOPCUINA which has different regional and cultural characteristics. This is what researchers see as necessary to research the Effect of Outstanding Credit, Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR), and Loan Interest Rates on Return On Assets (ROA) Due to Default Credit (NPL) at Credit Unions in Indonesia. The research objective was to test and formulate solutions to problems arising from the influence of Outstanding Credit, Loan to Deposit Ratio and Loan Interest Rates on Return On Assets due to Non-Performing Loans. The method used was quantitative research with Path Analysis in the data processing. The research population was the CU movement in Indonesia with a sample of 40 CUs under PUSKOPCUINA. The data used was outstanding credit data, Loan to Deposit ratio, non-performing loans, loan interest rates, and return on assets of 40 CU at PUSKOPCUINA in 2015-2019 with the model used to analyze panel data called the panel data model analyzed using Path Analysis. The results of the study showed that the Loan to Deposit ratio, non-performing loans, and loan interest rates had a significant effect on the return on assets of CUs in Indonesia.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the very diverse understanding of the Dayak people about Jubata. The purpose of this research was to find the concept of Jubata that fits the beliefs of the Dayak people outside the influence of Catholicism. The research method was qualitatively descriptive with an ethnographic approach. The research team was the key research instrument, where the research subjects were customary stakeholders and traditional practitioners who are in the research location. Data collection techniques by interviewing research subjects. Data analysis was carried out by codifying and grouping data based on the answers to the interviews conducted. The grouping results were then interpreted and then discussed again with the leaders in the form of a Focus Group Discussion. Thus the concept obtained was a joint conclusion of the parties involved in the research. The results showed that Jubata, which is believed by the Kanayatn Dayak people, is everywhere. Jubata lives close to human life, such as in homes, ritual areas (usually indicated by the sound of the keto bird), farming areas, gardens, settlements and in areas where people are active. The concept of Jubata is heavily influenced by the Hindu belief that there are many Gods, while Catholics believe in one God. Academically, the results of this study can be used as a reference for dialectics related to the Kanayatn Dayak Belief System. The Research Team has succeeded in uncovering the concept of Jubata which is believed by the Kanayatn Dayak people who tend to be Syncretistic. Dayak people believe in God according to their religion but also believe in Jubata according to the beliefs of their ancestors. Jubata is pragmatically the same as God but spiritually Jubata is different from God. Ambiguity regarding this occurs because the religion adopted is different from the belief system that is believed. The Kanayatn Dayak people are indeed at a crossroads, whether to Heaven or Subayatn.
