Abstract

Loss learning is a term used to describe learning that is not optimal in schools. The purpose of this research is to see if there is loss learning at SMP Insan Mandiri Bandar Lampung. The method used in the descriptive research with qualitative analysis of the location in this study was to take place at SMP Insan Mandiri Bandar Lampung with principals, waka and teachers as informants. The results in this study are that loss learning actually occurred before Covid-19, for example students who did not understand multiplication and other material. The emergence of Covid-19 exacerbated the emergence of loss learning at Insan Mandiri Middle School in the first year of only 10-20% but in the second year it reached 70-80% of students who experienced loss learning from various factors.

Abstract

In this article, we will discuss the basic principles of education and basic scientific trees. With the aim of research to find out and as additional references relating to the basic principles of education. The research method used is descriptive quantitative with the process of giving questionnaires to teachers regarding the four principles to explore how their perspectives will form the scientific tree and its urgency. The results state that all principles are important to note because they affect the way the teacher thinks and behaves during learning. The position of the scientific tree itself is the main basis for teachers to think and act to achieve learning success. For this reason, these principles are the roots that underlie strengthening what teachers and gentlemen will do in the future. For this reason, the teacher's activities that adapt the sociological, anthropological and psychological philosophical principles must really be considered because it will affect the success of the educational process they are carrying out.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the level of spatial reasoning ability of high school students with a kinesthetic learning style in solving geometric problems. The subjects used in this study consisted of 2 students of class XII SMA Negeri 1 Kedamean Gresik. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. Data collection techniques in this research are spatial reasoning ability tests and interviews. Data analysis used in this study is data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Researchers also used data analysis techniques from Milles & Huberman's research, namely data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Meanwhile, to check the validity of a data researcher uses source triangulation. The results showed that the subjects described the design model by looking at it as a real object, such as describing the problem as a robot composed of several cubes to form a robot and the image also resembles a water spray in the garden which is composed of several cubes and also the holes for the outlet. water. So that the subject is able to convert a two-dimensional icon into a three-dimensional one. The subject explained that the picture has 7 cubes, one of which is blocked by the previous cube and each cube has a hole. Whereas 1 large cube in the middle has 7 holes, so that the subject is able to make the correct relationship between two-dimensional icons and three-dimensional objects. The subject solves the problem by finding the volume of the cube first, that is, each cube has 27 unit cubes and is multiplied by the number of cubes and the result is subtracted by the number of holes in the cube. The subject is able to solve geometry problems correctly along with the steps and explanations. Thus the kinesthetic subject's spatial reasoning in solving geometric problems is included in the category of high-level spatial reasoning (spatial).

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explain the implementation of sex education for teenagers using a problem-based learning method in Cibeureum Village, Cimahi City, to raise awareness of the dangers of promiscuity. This study used a qualitative method and employs a case study design. Observation, in-depth conversations, and documentation studies are all methods for gathering data. As study resource people, two community leaders, ten sex education participants, and three sex education program organizers were used.Techniques for data analysis include data condensation, data presentation, deriving conclusions, and verification. The research founds that: (1) Sex education for adolescents using a problem-based learning strategy is carried out in stages, beginning with program planning by the village government in collaboration with RT administrators, RWs, community leaders, and parents with teenagers. 2) sex education program organizers collaborate with competent resource people when conducting the program. In addition, material on the dangers of promiscuity for adolescents is presented using problem-based learning, in which resource people present material based on real issues encountered by adolescents as a result of promiscuity. 3) the majority of participants' insights and understanding of the dangers of promiscuity had grown, especially the material presented using a problem-based learning approach.

Abstract

Financial literacy is important to master in the information and free market era. Therefore, financial literacy is included in the literacy competencies programmed in the National Literacy Movement (Gerakan Literasi Nasional). In fact, the Indonesian nation's financial literacy is still not satisfactory. Thus it is important to instill financial literacy in children from elementary school age. This study aims to analyze strategies for developing financial literacy in elementary school-aged children. This research is classified as library research. This data source comes from various literatures on elementary school children and financial literacy. Data were analyzed descriptively using content analysis techniques. The results of the study show that financial literacy can be developed in elementary school-aged children in a contextual way that involves parents and teachers.

Abstract

This study aims to systematically analyze and demonstrate bibliometric data analysis using VOSViewer. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method to describe the data on teacher professionalism. So it can be concluded that teacher professionalism can be combined with other fields to be studied. This study presents an analysis of data regarding teacher professionalism and its development over sixteen years (2008–2023) by utilizing the mapping tool in VOSViewer. To describe the performance of bibliometric analysis by producing a network visualization of the selected topic using a qualitative descriptive method. From the search results, 989 relevant published journals were found, ranging from 2008–2023, which were then grouped into 16 categories according to the year of publication. The results of this research on professional teachers found that the most published articles were in 2016-2021. We can see items supporting the formation of a professional as a teacher. Therefore it is necessary to carry out activities or support to increase teacher professionalism such as conducting classroom action research (PTK), conducting coaching, participating in MGMP and other activities.

Abstract

Problem learning mathematics at MTs NW Karang Bata is that it still uses a conventional learning model where the teacher tells more stories and talks in informing all the facts and concepts of a lesson, the low motivation and mathematical communication of students is caused by the learning techniques used by the teacher because it does not facilitate students more active in accepting the material presented by the teacher, in this case it affects students' mathematical communication abilities, to overcome this problem the Numbered Heads Together (NHT) cooperative learning model with the Open Ended approach is used. The purpose of this study was to find out the effect of the Numbered Heads Together (NHT) cooperative learning model with an open ended approach on students' mathematical communication skills. This research is an experimental research with a post-test only control group design, which aims to determine the cooperative learning model of the Numbered Heads Together (NHT) type with the Open Ended approach to the mathematical communication skills of class VIII students at MTs NW Karang Bata with a total of 38 students. sampling using random cluster technique, with VIIIA as the experimental class and class VIIIB as the control class. The independent variable in this study is the Numbered Heads Together (NHT) cooperative learning model with the Open Ended approach and the dependent variable is students' mathematical communication skills. Data on student learning outcomes were analyzed using the Polled Variance t test. At a significant level of 5% and obtained T count > T table = t2.543 > t1.690, then accepted and rejected. From the results of the analysis it can be concluded that there is an influence of the Numbered Heads Together (NHT) type cooperative learning model with the Open Ended approach to the mathematical communication skills of class VIII students of MTs.
