FOCUS AND SCOPE Enggang adalah jurnal pendidikan, bahasa, sastra, seni, dan budaya. Enggang dipilih sebagai nama jurnal ini karena kehidupan masyarakat Kalimantan Tengah tidak jauh dari alam, termasuk kedekatannya pada burung yang bernama enggang. Burung enggang merupakan simbol kebesaran dan kemuliaan suku Dayak di Kalimantan Tengah. Burung enggang juga melambangkan perdamaian dan persatuan, sayapnya yang tebal melambangkan pemimpin yang selalu melindungi rakyatnya. Ekor panjangnya dianggap sebagai tanda kemakmuran rakyat suku Dayak. Kaitannya dengan jurnal ini, tidak lain adalah mengambil makna filosofis kebesaran burung enggang agar jurnal pendidikan, bahasa, sastra, seni, dan budaya ini, nantinya menjadi besar yang akan dikenal secara lokal, nasional, dan internasional. Jurnal Enggang sebagai jurnal pendidikan, bahasa, sastra, seni, dan budaya merupakan salah satu wadah untuk mengumpulkan dan melestarikan kekayaan kita yang tidak ternilai harganya. Tentunya kekayaan yang berhubungan dengan pendidikan bahasa, sastra, seni, dan budaya. Jurnal ini hadir untuk siapa saja yang mencintai dan ingin berkarya di bidang pendidikan, bahasa, sastra, seni, dan budaya. Selain itu, kami sebagai pengurus jurnal ini bersedia memberikan bimbingan dan pelatihan untuk siapa saja yang ingin maju dan berkompeten dalam hal menulis karya fiksi maupun nonfiksi. Abstract

With a measurement tool to determine the development of language syntax in children using MLU calculations, researchers will examine language acquisition in children aged four years and nine months through the utterances they speak every day. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Based on the results of an analysis of a child aged 4 years and 11 months named Arya, the results of the calculation of MLU 3.11 are at stage VII, which means it is still at a low stage. At 4 years and 11 months he should be in stage X. Arya is already able to pronounce ten types of words, he is able to speak using complete sentences and is able to speak to form basic sentence patterns, namely S-P-O-K.

Abstract

Researchers found slurred speech disorder (Rhotacism) in adolescents aged 13 and 15 years who have imperfections which have difficulty pronouncing /r/ to become /l/. This study aims to (1) describe Rhotacism's speech disorders, especially phonetic disorders in adolescents and (2) describe the causes of Rhotacism's disorders in adolescents. This study uses a qualitative descriptive research method and uses a case study approach with subjects or informants aged 13 and 15 years named Alden Nandana Ramadhan and Mauli Ibrahim who come from Serang Regency. The results showed that in Alden Nandana Ramadhan there were 6 data that experienced sound changes when pronouncing the letters /r/ to /l/. Meanwhile, in Mauli Ibrahim found 11 data that experienced sound changes when pronouncing the letter /r/ to /l/ and 1 omission of the letter /r/. The causes of Rhotacism speech disorders in children are caused by several factors, namely sufferers have siblings, aunts. Siblings with speech disorders, namely Rhotacism. Rhotacism speech disorders appear when toddlers, children, teenagers and even adults because of factors, namely angklossia (short tongue) which results in an impact on the imperfection of phonemes (sounds) spoken by speakers to speakers

Abstract

The management of teaching and educational staff is an activity that must be carried out starting from the teaching and education staff entering the educational organization until it finally stops through the process of HR planning, procurement, placement, awarding of compensation, awards, education and training development and termination. The management of educational staff (teachers and staff) absolutely must be implemented by school principals so that they can utilize educational staff effectively and efficiently to achieve optimal results. In accordance with this, a school principal must be able to find, position, evaluate, direct, motivate, and develop the talents of each teacher and staff and be able to align individual and organizational goals. Management is the science and art of managing the process of using human resources effectively, which is supported by other sources within the organization to achieve certain goals. In the world of education, human resources that we know are educators and educational staff, or what we often call teachers. For the success of an educational institution there are several things that need to be considered in the management of teaching and educational staff. The activities carried out in the management of teaching and educational staff begin with employee planning, employee procurement, employee coaching and development, promotions and transfers, employee dismissals and finally employee performance appraisal. Each stage is carried out in a coherent manner to produce qualified teaching and educational staff professional, reliable and efficient. Furthermore, regarding the explanation of the criteria for an educator and Islamic education based on the Qur'an and Hadith. It is hoped that with the running of teaching and educational staff management activities it can support the process of teaching and learning activities in an educational institution in accordance with the goals of the national education system. Teaching staff and education staff realize several main aspects in the competency development program for teaching staff and education staff.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the historical value in President Joko Widodo's speech in commemoration of the 75th Anniversary of the Proclamation of Independence of the Republic of Indonesia. This study used qualitative descriptive method. This research used Ruth Wodak's historical discourse analysis model. Based on the analysis result, it was found that President Joko Widodo's speech in commemoration of the 75th Anniversary of the Proclamation of Independence of the Republic of Indonesia stated 10 statements contained historical value which can influence the readers.

Abstract

Inner conflict is a conflict experienced by humans with themselves or commonly referred to as an individual's internal problems. Conflict is something unpleasant that occurs or is experienced by story characters. If the character has the freedom to choose, he will not choose the events/conflicts that happen to him. This study aims to analyze the inner conflicts experienced by Mentari figures in the pictorial book “Hari Ini atau Esok” by Astrid Savitri. The analytical knife uses the theory of Kurt Lewin's approach. This research focuses on the inner conflicts experienced by Mentari characters in the pictorial book. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method by collecting data in the form of written words which will then be followed by an analysis that has a connection with the context of the character's inner conflict. Data collection was carried out by reading and then paraphrasing sentences about the inner conflict of indecision experienced by Mentari figures in the Pictorial Book. The results of this study indicate that there is an inner conflict experienced by the main character named Mentari. Mentari figures in the process of his life he has gone through 3 forms of inner conflict, namely: 1.) Approach-approach conflict, 2.) Avoidance-avoidance conflict, 3.) Approachavoidance conflict ).

Abstract

This research is motivated by the digital transformation and the massive use of technology in various fields. Education is no exception. For example, reading activities are generally carried out using physical books. Currently it can be done through a website called Literacycloud. This research, using a quantitative method by utilizing the System Usability Scale (SUS), aims to measure the level of usability of the Literacycloud website. Testing was carried out using the SUS questionnaire, which consisted of ten statements, and a Likert scale was used to determine respondents' responses. The test was conducted to evaluate the usability level of the Literacycloud website. Based on the results of this study, it was found that the Literacycloud website has a SUS value of 65.25 and is in the C letter rank and 36-64% percentile rank. Therefore, this Literacycloud website is not widely known

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to reveal and study the structural studies and local wisdom values ​​of the legend of the origin of Surau Gading of the Malay people. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative method. The data collection technique used in this research is to use the reading and note technique. In this study, the data were analyzed using descriptive qualitative data analysis which included data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Based on the results of the analysis, the legend contains structural studies and local wisdom values. Structural studies and local wisdom are found in the legend of the Malay tribe entitled The Origin of Surau Gading which includes 2 elements, namely intrinsic elements and extrinsic elements. Furthermore, the 2 local wisdoms found in this legend are: religious and reciprocal.

Abstract

This study aims to describe, analyze, identify, and conclude about the religious values contained in Hamka's novel Tenggelamnya Kapal Van Der Wijck. This study uses a qualitative descriptive research method. The subject of this research is the Novel Sinking of the Van Der Wijck Ship written by Hamka. The power collection techniques used are reading techniques, creating data screening instruments and coding. The data obtained from this study were analyzed using content analysis. The results of the study show that in the novel Tenggelamnya Kapal Van Der Wijck there are three things related to religious values, namely the relationship between humans and God, humans and humans and humans and nature.

Abstract

According to UNESCO data, it is explained that Indonesia ranks second from the bottom, because literacy is very low, namely only 0.001%. Indonesia has a very low percentage in literacy. This study uses qualitative research, with a descriptive method. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires to student teacher candidates. Based on the diagram, it shows that 90 respondents (100%) stated that digital media had an effect on understanding of literacy. The demands of technological developments make students study digital media for classroom learning. the use of digital media is important to use as a provision to face the times. As a prospective teacher, you should know more about digital media in the surrounding environment to make it easier when making teaching materials and developing learning
