FOCUS AND SCOPE Enggang adalah jurnal pendidikan, bahasa, sastra, seni, dan budaya. Enggang dipilih sebagai nama jurnal ini karena kehidupan masyarakat Kalimantan Tengah tidak jauh dari alam, termasuk kedekatannya pada burung yang bernama enggang. Burung enggang merupakan simbol kebesaran dan kemuliaan suku Dayak di Kalimantan Tengah. Burung enggang juga melambangkan perdamaian dan persatuan, sayapnya yang tebal melambangkan pemimpin yang selalu melindungi rakyatnya. Ekor panjangnya dianggap sebagai tanda kemakmuran rakyat suku Dayak. Kaitannya dengan jurnal ini, tidak lain adalah mengambil makna filosofis kebesaran burung enggang agar jurnal pendidikan, bahasa, sastra, seni, dan budaya ini, nantinya menjadi besar yang akan dikenal secara lokal, nasional, dan internasional. Jurnal Enggang sebagai jurnal pendidikan, bahasa, sastra, seni, dan budaya merupakan salah satu wadah untuk mengumpulkan dan melestarikan kekayaan kita yang tidak ternilai harganya. Tentunya kekayaan yang berhubungan dengan pendidikan bahasa, sastra, seni, dan budaya. Jurnal ini hadir untuk siapa saja yang mencintai dan ingin berkarya di bidang pendidikan, bahasa, sastra, seni, dan budaya. Selain itu, kami sebagai pengurus jurnal ini bersedia memberikan bimbingan dan pelatihan untuk siapa saja yang ingin maju dan berkompeten dalam hal menulis karya fiksi maupun nonfiksi. Melalui bimbingan dan pelatihan pasti gairah menulis para calon pendidik, para pendidik, dan para pecinta pendidikan, bahasa, sastra, seni, dan budaya bangkit dengan semangat membara. The use of technological advances has given rise to new media for all fields, including the use of technology in the field of education. This allows the development of alternative learning media that can help the process of teaching courses in higher education. A teacher is required to be able to adapt to technology and use it as a creative and innovative learning tool or medium. The use of digital-based learning media allows students to study these materials anywhere and at any time.Serial podcasts as a medium for learning Indonesian for academic purposes in the digital era are a development product carried out by a team of digital-based media and learning resource developers. This podcast consists of eight episodes containing material related to learning Indonesian. The development of this learning media aims to describe and present eight podcasts with different material for each episode. Determining the type of media development product has been considered from the important elements and characteristics of selecting learning media that suit student needs. The development of this learning media uses a 4 D model which has four stages, namely (1) define, (2) design, (3) develop; and (4) disseminete or distribution. The results of this learning media development product include the following materials: (1) Indonesian for Academic Purposes in the Digital Era, (2) Spelling in Indonesian, (3) Sentences in Indonesian, (4) Topic 4: Paragraphs in Indonesian , (5) Utilization of Digital Technology to Improve Indonesian Language Skills, (6) Indonesian in Academic Communication, (7) Indonesian in Scientific Research and Publications, and; (8) Challenges and Opportunities of Indonesian in the Digital Era which have been published on the ”Siniar Enggang” YouTube account (https://www.youtube.com/@SiniarEnggang).

The research aims to analyze structural studies and local wisdom values in the hikayat Si Baroar that developed in the Mandailng Natal community. The research uses descriptive analytical method, which is a method that describes as clearly as possible about the object under study, and describes the data thoroughly, systematically, and accurately. The analysis is carried out using the theoretical basis used, then analyzed and interpreted in accordance with the theoretical study so that the research results can later describe the problems studied objectively, systematically based on the theories that the author uses. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that Si Baroar is a saga originating from the Mandailing Natal area. There are instrinsic elements, namely: Theme, character, and plot. There are also local wisdom values in the Si Baroar saga

This research uses a qualitative approach to analyze the meaning in Leila's storytelling novel Laut. S Chudori with a semantic study. Qualitative research is research on research that is descriptive in nature and tends to use analysis. The purpose of this study is to obtain the results of an analysis of the types of meaning through semantic studies of a word, phrase or sentence as a written object contained in Leila S. Chudori's novel Laut Bercerita. Through this research, it is hoped that new insights about the analysis of meaning in the novel Laut story can be found through semantic study.

This research uses a type of qualitative research using an ecocritical perspective. This research aims to identify forms of environmental wisdom and ecological criticism in the short story Asa and Hutan Kaimantan using Norman Fairclough's theory of critical discourse analysis, namely, identity, representation and relationships. The data in this research are several texts contained in short stories, while the data source in this research is the primary data source in the form of the short story "Asa and the Kalimantan Forest by Yosimar Akbar. Data collection techniques are carried out using reading and note-taking techniques, while data analysis techniques are carried out through the stages of identification, classification, interpretation and drawing conclusions. The results of the research show that in the short story "Asa and the Kalimantan Forest by Yosimar Akbar, a representation of environmental wisdom was found in the form of a responsible attitude towards nature. Apart from that, in the text of the novel there is also ecological criticism in the form of ecological criticism of individuals who throw away cigarette butts without extinguishing them in the forest environment and of groups of poachers who hunt orangutans.

Novel Pudarnya Pesona Cleopatra is a story of a portrait of the reality of society's life regarding the female figure. The purpose of this study is to describe the self-image of a female character named Raihana and the representation of feminism contained in the novel Pudarnya Pesona Cleopatra. The research method used is descriptive qualitative method. Data collection techniques with reading and note techniques. The data analysis technique used is content analysis technique. The data validation technique uses data triangulation. The results of the analysis show that Raihana's self-image in the physical aspect is described as a beautiful, elegant, baby face and mature woman. From the psychic aspect, Raihana is described as a figure who is strong, patient, and loves her husband, and obediently worships her God. Individually, Raihana also has the desire to be loved, wanted, and appreciated as a wife. The representation of feminism illustrates that a woman in Javanese culture interprets that women must obey their husband as a leader

This study aims to describe the various types of presuppositions contained in the video “Eksklusif: Ganjar Pranowo dan Piala Dunia” in Mata Najwa. This study used qualitative descriptive, namely a study which obtains data by providing an explanation or description of the situation or condition under study in the form of a description. The data in this study were in the form of utterances stated in the video Eksklusif: Ganjar Pranowo dan Piala Dunia” in Mata Najwa. Data were collected by observing and note-taking. Having collected and classified according to the type of presupposition, the data were analyzed using presupposition theory. The results of the study showed that there were 43 presupposition data in the video “Eksklusif: Ganjar Pranowo dan Piala Dunia” in Mata Najwa. The data consist of 17 existential presupposition data, 4 inactive presupposition data, 6 lexical presupposition data, 11 structural presupposition data, 2 non-factive presupposition data and 3 counterfactual presupposition data.

It should be noted that teachers in this era are required to have skills in conducting learning which can support the achievement of student competencies in this 21st century learning. In the 21st century, participants must understand the rapid development of technology and knowledge. This needs to be addressed by the teacher in order to facilitate students in using technological developments and getting various kinds of learning-based resources Technology. The purpose of this study is to determine the competency of digital literacy and reading literacy prospective teachers have as a form of their own skills to become qualified teachers in this era revolution 4.0. This study used a descriptive qualitative method. Population that being the object of research are students of the Indonesian University of Education Campus in Purwakarta. Determination of the sample using a proportional random technique is done by using a purposive sampling method, namely distributing questionnaires online in google form via social media. After doing research the writer can conclude that Information and Communication technology is very important in learning digital literacy skills and reading literacy. This is so that prospective teachers achieve better results in the learning process.

The purpose of this research is to describe the figurative language used in the novel “A Pair Against (2)” by Jazuli Imam and to find out the author's style of writing. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative, the target of this research is to describe the comparative figure of speech in the novel "A Pair Against (2)" by Jazuli Imam. The data source in this study is the entire text contained in the novel. Data collection techniques in this study were carried out by recording techniques and classifying the findings of comparative figurative sentences. In this research, the researcher uses the theory of comparative figure of speech by Henry G. Tarigan as the basis for the comparative figure of speech to be studied. Based on the results of the analysis, the novel "A Pair Against (2)" contains several comparative figures of speech, namely: 3 figures of speech for parable/simile, 4 figures of speech for metaphor, 1 figure of speech for depersonification, 2 figure of speech for personification, 1 figure of speech for anticipation/prolepsis, 4 figure of speech for correction/epanortosis, and 2 major periphrases. Thus, a literary work cannot be separated from the figure of speech because this figure of speech is the most important thing in a literary work. The author uses this figure of speech to create a beautiful writing. Through the figures of speech contained in literary works, literary works become more lively and varied, so as to avoid things that are monotonous

This method uses descriptive qualitative research. The research subject was the result of direct observation of PKN teachers in grade IV at SDN Socah 1. The data collection methods used were observation, interviews and documentation. The results of research conducted by researchers regarding the importance of implementing Pancasila values applied by teachers and fourth grade students at SDN Socah 1: 1) Belief in One Almighty God, In every religious lesson, SDN Socah 1 holds Duha prayers together, recites istighosah and after that prays. 2) Just and Civilized Humanity, students respect each other among friends and obey the teacher. 3) The Association of Indonesia, teachers and fourth grade students at SDN Socah 1 hold pickets so that an attitude of cooperation is always instilled. 4) Democracy Led by Wisdom Wisdom In Representative Deliberations, students have gotten used to deliberating with friends in solving problems. 5) Social Justice for All Indonesian People, In class IV SDN Socah 1 does not discriminate against anyone. Instilling Pancasila values is very important in everyday life. Pancasila as the nation's view of life, which contains that Pancasila values can be used as a guide or guide in regulating human behavior and attitudes. Thus it can be concluded that in this study students were able to apply the values of the Pancasila precepts in everyday life to shape the character of elementary school children at SDN Socah 1.

Education in Indonesia is undergoing a revolution towards a more advanced and innovative education. The current education system has led to a digital system and no longer uses traditional methods. This shows a change towards 21st century education. Where learning is directed to use technology. One of the technologies that can be used in learning is the media YouTube. The use of YouTube media is not only as entertainment but can also be a source of learning. The amount of information and knowledge obtained on YouTube can have a positive impact on the digital literacy movement for elementary school students. This research was conducted to analyze the use of YouTube media as a digital literacy movement in 21st century learning in elementary schools. This study uses qualitative methods and the type of research is descriptive with data collection techniques in the form of questionnaires and literature review. The results of this study using YouTube media can provide convenience to students in the learning process. In addition, YouTube media supports 21st century learning so that it can help students to face future technological challenges and YouTube media is also considered to be a driving force for digital literacy in elementary school students.
