Abstract

The present study reports the comprehensive study after pandemic era in early 2024, aims to determine an effective methodical approach in exploiting the impact of thought inequality when using social media as an effort to prevent the transmission of HIV/AIDS (LGBT) infections. The preparation of this literature review uses the narrative literature review method by entering keywords into the PubMed, ProQuest, Wiley, CINAHL and databases of ScienceDirect. The results of the research show that the effective method used in utilizing social media in efforts to prevent the transmission of HIV/AIDS (LGBT) infections including Network Monitoring Systems and direct intervention. The Network Monitoring System method can analyze the scientific role of health sociology in statistical data or social change trends which are used as material considerations in formulating health promotion policies. Meanwhile, direct intervention with a comprehensive educational approach in empowering individuals, communities or groups becomes a stimulant for one is the potential to oversee health problems independently. In conclusion, both produce outputs in the form of increasing awareness in the prevention and transmission of HIV/AIDS (LGBT), healthy sexual knowledge, minimizing stigma towards HIV/AIDS sufferers, getting accurate target tracing paths, education will be provided.

Abstract

Regency, was conducted using an integrated mixed method which combines quantitative and qualitative approaches to process various data collected to formulate policies and strategies in addressing a public issue (Burch & Heinrich, 2015). This study used secondary data from Statistics Indonesia, regulations, research results, and primary data from interviews, observations, and focus group discussions involving relevant stakeholders. Data analysis involved classification analysis, macro data analysis, and SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) analysis. Based on the SWOT analysis, several programs can be carried out by the Purworejo District Government to maximize the potential of its regional markets. Promote traditional markets after revitalization to increase public awareness of the positive changes in the market. Using social media, advertisements, and promotional campaigns to reach more potential visitors. Some of the related activities include; Socialization through social media, Official website development, Promotional video campaign, Photography competition, Loyalty program.

Abstract

The Willow Project is located on Alaska's north slope, within the National Petroleum Reserve, which is held by the United States federal government. Based on the topics being discussed, a strong desire was developed, particularly among Yos Sudarso Metro High School students, to learn about the causes for oil drilling, as well as the impacts and benefits of drilling from diverse perspectives. Concerning the community service that according to Willow Project theme, the lecturers as the facilitators of this community service assisted students who wanted to find a solution to the Willow Project issue, where they hoped that there would be several points regarding the impact and benefits of academia in the energy sector, particularly petroleum engineering. As a result of socialization regarding the Willow Project drilling, impacts and benefits have been imparted in the Community Service activities, which are separated into environmental impacts, climate impacts, and social impacts. Following an overview of the impact of the Willow Project drilling, the benefits of the drilling are explained, including job creation and economic benefits, energy independence, and tax revenue. The crux of the impacts and benefits given is that it is still envisaged that fossil energy would be used to increase jobs in the nearby community and globally. Aside from that, it is desired that the development of renewable energy, the reduction of drilling in conservation areas, and the preservation of environmental integrity would continue.

Abstract

Aggression is a behavioral problem that often occurs in students. Aggression can be caused by various factors, one of which is a lack of interpersonal communication skills. Excessive aggressive behavior can have a negative impact on students and their environment. Aggressive students can experience problems in learning, socializing and establishing relationships with other people. Aggressive behavior can also cause problems in the school environment, such as brawls, bullying and sexual violence. Interpersonal communication training is one effort that can be made to reduce aggression in students. Students who need to reduce aggression are students who have excessive aggressive behavior or often carry out aggressive behavior. This study aims to test the effectiveness of interpersonal communication training in reducing aggression in students. The research results show that interpersonal communication training can reduce aggression in students. Students who took part in interpersonal communication training showed a significant reduction in aggression scores compared to students who did not take part in the training.

Abstract

Efficient waste bank management is essential for handling the growing waste volumes in landfills. Waste banks play a crucial role in local and national waste management. This program aims to boost the capacity and productivity of waste bank institutions by supporting the development of human resources in waste recycling management and implementing digital management systems. Program results demonstrate that KSM Bais, Tarakan, our partner waste bank institution, has improved its knowledge and skills in waste bank management. They have expanded their range of recyclable products, including marketable items like plastic flower jewelry, trash bins, stationery organizers, ecobricks, and other aesthetic products. Furthermore, they have created and implemented a website-based waste bank application system to streamline administrative tasks. Additionally, partners have enhanced waste bank marketing performance through website-based and online social media channels.

Abstract

Klaten Regency is dominated by the agricultural sector, with paddy as its top commodity as much as 51,4% of the total area of 65,556 ha. Delanggu rice, namely Rojolele, has become the identity of Klaten as a local pride commodity from Klaten, Indonesia. Rojolele has special characteristics such as sticky, savory, and distinctive scent (aromatic). In addition, Rojolele has a unique value as part of national identity, culture, and local wisdom which has a huge opportunity to go global in the international market. Although it has been widely known worldwide, there are some challenges in its marketing development, especially in branding awareness. Many Rojolele riced produced by local SMEs in Klaten do not have business licenses yet, thus it hampers the marketing to the wider range area. The aim of the program is to strengthen the branding strategy to improve its competitiveness in the international market. The program will engage Sanggar Rojolele, a farming community in Delanggu Village that has replanted Rojolele Srinuk since 2016 as well as initiated many cultural events based on agriculture as one of local wisdom preservation in Klaten. Universitas Sebelas Maret engaged a close collaboration with the National Pingtung University of Science and Technology (NPUST) Taiwan trhough International Community Partnership (PKMI-UNS) to implement the community partnership program using the Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) method. The activity is divided into 5 steps, namely: 1) training of the business licenses and the importance of product diversification, which will be conducted using instructional and dialog methods; 2) a seminar of strategy to develop Rojolele towards the international market; 3) registration of business licenses of Rojolele and its derivative product; 4) developing an online market strategy of Rojolele; 5) monitoring, evaluation and program output dissemination. The program is expected to increase Rojolele’s market share globally as well as to improve Rojolele Srinuk brand awareness, thus raising its competitiveness in the global market.

Abstract

Education is a process carried out consciously or deliberately in order to increase knowledge, insight and experience to determine life goals so that they can have a broad view towards a better future and with education itself can create quality human beings. Like Western theory, educators in Islam are people who are responsible for the development of students by trying to develop all students' potential, both affective (feelings), cognitive (creativity), and psychomotor potential (intentions). Education is a cultural process to improve human dignity that lasts throughout life. Education is always developing, and is always faced with changing times. That is the cycle of development of changes in education, otherwise education will be left behind by the rapid changes of the times. For this reason, changes in education must be relevant to changing times and the needs of society at that time, so it is important to plan as early as possible which can be stated in the Vision, Mission, Goals and Functions of Islamic Education.

Abstract

Reproductive health for teenagers can be realized if teenagers know correctly how to maintain their reproductive health. Teenagers need to know the basic things about a clean and healthy lifestyle. A clean and healthy lifestyle is a form of behavior carried out consciously due to learning carried out individually, by families, and in the community in realizing community health. This is an essential aspect in realizing reproductive health for teenagers. This activity aims to increase teenagers' knowledge about maintaining healthy reproductive health of teenagers using a clean and healthy lifestyle approach implemented at the AL-Azhar Saumlaki Madrasah Tsnawiyah (MTs), Tanimbar Islands Regency. The implementation method involves lectures, questions, and answers with the material presented using PowerPoint and videos displayed using an LCD. Knowledge is measured before and after the extension activities are carried out using a questionnaire. The results of community service show that there has been an increase in youth knowledge by 81%, with good knowledge. It is hoped that this counseling will provide increased knowledge to change teenagers' behavior and attitudes in maintaining their reproductive health so that they remain healthy with a clean and healthy lifestyle approach.

Abstract

The purpose of this program is to develop modules and training modules developed to improve the performance of MSMEs in Parongpong District. Identification of partner problems is carried out through document studies, interviews, and questionnaire dissemination. Based on the analysis of partner problems, there are several problems that cause MSMEs in Parongpong District to not utilize e-commerce media as their marketing media, namely: (1) Do not have knowledge and skills in using e-commerce; (2) Products that are not ready to be marketed in terms of branding, packaging that is not yet attractive, and product durability; (3) Do not understand how to use SEO (search engine optimization) in increasing product visibility in e-commerce. If these three main problems can be solved, it is expected that MSMEs can compete on various e-commerce platforms that exist today. The solution provided to partners is to develop the necessary modules and provide training for; (1) improve skills in using several e-commerce platforms; (2) increase knowledge and ability in creating branding, making attractive packaging, and preserving industry-standard products; (3) improve knowledge and skills in the use of SEO (search engine optimization). The impact resulting from this training is that MSMEs gain competencies to increase the competitiveness of marketed products. The supporting capacity provided includes the availability of (1) MSME product branding materials; (2) product packaging materials; (3) marketing materials; and (4) SEO utilization materials.

Abstract

This study explores the challenges faced by Muslim women in establishing catering businesses, primarily due to inadequate marketing strategies. To overcome these obstacles, the research proposes catering business assistance with a focus on utilizing the internet as a platform for product promotion. Incorporating the Marketing 4.0 concept, the study emphasizes the complementary nature of digital-based and traditional marketing to meet consumer demands. The evolution from the AIDA concept to the 4A and 5A models is examined, highlighting attention, attitude, action, and advocacy as essential elements in consumer engagement. The effectiveness of e-commerce is underscored by offering benefits for MSMEs, such as accessing buyers from different regions, cost efficiency, and improved communication. Online media, including platforms like WhatsApp, social media, and email marketing, is discussed for its positive impact on information processing, purchasing decisions, and expanding market networks. The study also emphasizes the need to combine online and offline strategies to enhance digital technology adoption, maintain a personal touch for consumer relationships, and widen business reach. This research emphasizes the importance of digital technology for MSMEs to thrive in the catering industry.
